Mumbai, 26th June 2024: After receiving worldwide praise and captivating audiences of all ages, Gru is back! Spreading more madness than ever, and this time there are new additions to his family! Gru Jr. has joined the gang and his only purpose is to annoy his Dad, who used to be a supervillain. An Illumination production, directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage, Universal Pictures (distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery) is all set to release Despicable Me 4 on 5th July. The beloved franchise returns with favourites Steve Carell as Gru, Kristen Wiig as Lucy and this time with new characters like Late Show Host Stephen Colbert as Perry, Gru’s new neighbour, Joey King as Poppy, Gru’s teenage neighbour, Emmy Winner Will Ferell as Maxime Le Mal, Gru’s long- standing nemesis and Emmy Nominee Sofia Vergara as Maxime’s girlfriend. The fourth addition of the film begins as Gru, Lucy, Margo, Edith, and Agnes welcome a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina, and the family is forced to go on the run.

Director Chris Renaud shared his thoughts on Gru, the lead character voiced by Steve Carell, saying “I mean, basically he is Gru! It's impossible to imagine what that character would be without Steve's voice. He’s also very thoughtful and caring about the role and the performance, always having a point of view about it and being almost protective. Steve Carell inhabits the character of Gru and wants it to be the absolute best it can be. When we schedule a recording session, which can be up to three hours long, I can tell you that he delivers so much energy every time. I've known him for a long time and he's just an absolute pleasure to work with.”

The show follows a gripping narrative where danger lurks at every turn, much like the classic game it draws inspiration from.

This documentary is about Njattyela Sreedharan, a school dropout who compiled a dictionary connecting four major Dravidian languages. Travelling across four states and doing extensive research, he spent twenty five years making the multilingual dictionary. The dictionary offers a comparative study of Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. 'Dreaming of Words' traces Sreedharan's life, work, love for languages and the struggles to get the dictionary published. The film also explores the linguistic and cultural diversity in India.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see superstar Salman Khan as the spy Tiger in the upcoming action thriller film ‘Tiger 3’. Makers of the film are all set to unveil its official trailer on October 16. On Friday, actor Salman Khan took to his Instagram account and shared a new poster of the film.

He wrote, “#Tiger3Trailer. 16th October. 12 Noon. Mark kar lo calendar. #3DaysToTiger3Trailer #Tiger3 arriving in cinemas this Diwali.Releasing in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.” In the new poster, the ��Dabangg’ actor could be seen holding chains and with an intense look on his face.

Talking about the film, Salman said, “The action in Tiger 3 is raw, realistic yet spectacular. It is simply out of the world. What I love about the Tiger franchise is that the hero is presented as the larger-than-life Hindi film hero who can take on an army of people with his bare hands! He is okay to shed blood and still keep standing till everyone around him is finished.”

‘Tiger 3’ is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2023. He added, “The heroism (of Tiger) is in him taking the challenge head on and not back down just as a real-life tiger would do when he hunts his prey. My character, Tiger, will never retreat from a fight. He will never give up till he is breathing and he will be the last man standing for his country.” The film also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role.

“I like how Tiger has been presented on the big screen by YRF and that’s what has caught the fancy of the audience. They like to see Tiger in action because they know they will get to see some of the most gritty and coolest action sequences ever. I hope they love the trailer of Tiger 3 because it has some mad moments of outrageous action that people have seen to date,” Salman said. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh ‘Tiger 3’ trailer will be unveiled at 12 noon on October 16.

I would suggest that he must change his name from “Nag Ashwin” to “Nag You-Win”! I have also fallen short of praise for the film’s music composer Santhosh Narayanan. He has blasted the screens with his awesome music. If I were to suggest a name for him it should have been “Sandy Norman” rather than Santhosh Narayanan! He is indeed the Dinosaur of the Indian Jurassic Park! He has taken revenge on Adipurush haters with Kalki 2898 AD. You will feel Prabhas’ enigmatic performance in this movie. His aura, body language, and style are too good! Deepika Padukone as the lead actress lent great support. And after watching Kamal Haasan as the antagonist, you would cry that the show must go on! Moreover, I am also a bit disappointed with Disha Patani’s unnecessary melodrama and tracks in this movie which elongated the screenplay to three hours. The Verdict: To be honest, let the flaws of Kalki 2898 AD go to hell! From the beginning till the end, the screenplay and visuals were so grand and majestic that they overshadowed every flaw. I bet this king of all entertainers can give peace to anyone’s heart and soul. Leave your logic and reasoning behind and don’t forget to watch this epic sci-fi action-drama. Making such a grand masterpiece is not every filmmaker’s piece of cake.
