There was a soft knock on the door of the Allfather’s chambers that woke up Loki. He quickly set up his Odin illusion and went to check who it was.

“ :’( “said Tess. Loki welcomed them with a gesture. Once inside, Loki turned off his illusion and hugged his friend. Tess sniffed on his pyjama. “Will you tell me if I ever stop being your friend?”

“Of course, Tess. I’d do it” he admitted. Tess looked very distraught, he couldn’t help but feel useless as to how to help them calm down. “But I have no plans on stopping to care about you.”

Tess pressed themself harder against Loki. “ :’( “ they cried.

“Do you want to join me in my bed? Well, technically is Odin’s, but you get what I mean.”

The Tesseract nodded and Loki softly picked them up and carried them to bed. Tess was way lighter than what he had expected, they felt warm against his chest, as if they were a being made of pure light.

Loki focused on his breathing. Tess and he were just friends. Right? Yeah. Just a pair of besties, nothing else to see here, thanks.

Loki tucked them into bed an after some thought, he joined them. Tess was still crying in that particular way of theirs and Loki decided to lay them on his torso and caressed their skin to soothe their heart.

“Why did he do that, Loki?” they mumbled between sobs. “Why did he left me just like that and said nothing?”

“I don’t know” he admitted. In fact, nobody knew quite much about the former prince of Asgard. Loki thought of him as a cruel being. How would they leave their friend locked up in a vault, without any kind of farewell, even the evil kind? “I don’t know, Tess.”

“:’( “ they continued crying. They snuggled even closer to him. Loki’s stomach did a summersault. He kind of felt bad for it. He needed to be there for his friend, not thinking about holding their hand romantically. “You’re warm” they mumbled.

“I can… leave you alone, if you want” he had to make sure he wasn’t imposing himself over them.

“No, I want to be with you, Loki. I like your warmth.”

Loki’s breath quickened. He hoped that Tess didn’t notice. They didn’t need to breathe, right? Maybe they wouldn’t even notice. “I tried to track him down. All archives have been destroyed, even Odin’s personal ones. You seem to be the only soul that knows Bor personally.”

“He had some friends. I had some friends. Lou, Marta… Odina was killed while I was awake, I guess the other two are also far long gone.”

“I’ll try to see if I can find something about them tomorrow” said Loki, squeezing Tess’ hand. They were really comforting.

“Thank you for doing this, Loki. I’d do it myself but you know I don’t know how to read.”

“Anything for my best friend.”

Tess smiled sadly. They weren’t sure if they would ever be able to trust someone to that extent. What if they betray them again, just like Bor did? With the help Loki’s comforting caresses they drifted back to sleep.

Crossover Idea Percy Jackson/Vikings

This is just another excuse, to make a female Percy Jackson and ship her with a character I like.

So, we start with the era of the gods, the greek ones. After the romans take over the known world, the greek gods grow weaker and when the christians come, they slowly ‘die’. They use their power for the last time and create Themyscira, the island of the amazons. All the female demigods come back to life and become amazons, Queen Hippotyta gives birth to triplets, the oldest is named Rhea and is the last daughter of Poseidon, the second born bears the name Persephone and is the daughter of Hades. The youngest is Diana and a daughter of Zeus. With their birth, the greek gods finally rest, their essences are being held in the temples, well, after they all bless the daughters of the big three. (They all have black hair, but different eye colours and the face of their mother)

So, times flows slower on Themyscira, the three grow up, the amazons life in peace and yeah. Each daughter has been gifted with a special armor (like Wonder Woman, but Rhea’s armor is blue/silver and Persephone is black and gold) each sister has a lasso of truth, a sacred sword, shield and the weapons of their fathers. Rhea has Poseidons trident, Persephone Hades’ helmet and Diana the spear of Zeus. They learn to control their powers, Rhea becomes a great leader, Persephone a gifted seer and Diana is one of the best healers. One day, all three sisters dream of three men. They hail to different gods, powerful as once the greek ones were. Ragnar, the son of Odin, Floki, the son of Loki and Rollo, the son of the eldest Berserker. The three of them, together with Rhea, Persephone and Diana will show the world the true wrath of the gods. They don��t tell their mother, but when the dreams become more frequent, they do.

Anyway. The finally tell Hippotyta, who just sighs. She knew, that her daughters would do great things one day, but she hoped, she had still some time. But she has hope. In new world, the humans don’t belive the storys of their gods. The don’t have the knowledge and power to hurt her daughters.

So, the three sisters take their weapons, armors and a ship and sail north.

Now we come to Ragnar, Rollo and Floki. Like in the serie, Ragnar marries Lagartha and has two children, until he begins to dream about a beautiful, godlike warrior and her two sisters. She’s the daughter of Poseidon, of a sea god, who died, because of the lack of faith. He becomes thoughful and slowly rejects Lagertha, who’s pissed as fuck. When he tells her about her dreams, she takes her daughter and leaves Kattegat, because her husband dreams about a woman, who he never met and says she’s the daughter of a god and a princess? yeah- no. She sails away and then comes to Wessex.

Rollo dreams about a fiercy healer, the daughter of a god of the sky and a princess. He knows, she’s important, like her sisters and stops fucking other womans. He also has dreams about a man, a great warrior, who he later realizes was his father.

Floki first hated the idea of other gods, but when this mysterious woman became a big part of his dreams, the daughter of a god of death and the underworld, he thought about it. He tells Ragnar first, who also admits of such dreams. This becomes their greatest secret, until one day Rollo hears them. He then tells about it too and the three realize, the gods have great plans for them. And some years later, three sisters come to Kattegat.

Since the amazon are blessed by the gods, they can understand any language, also the ones of the animals and are connected with the nature. And since the three are children of the most powerful greek gods, they have even more power. Earl Haraldson tries to take them as his mistresses, but they fight against him and win.

“I am Princess Rhea, daughter of Queen Hippotyta, ruler of the amazons and the great King Poseidon, the earthshaker. If you lay another finger at me or my sisters, I will kill you.” The whole village is there, when the fight starts.

“My name is Persephone, secondborn Princess of Themyscira, daughter of Queen Hippotyta and King Hades, the one who brings death and controls it.”

“I am Diana, Princess of the sky and the amazons, the daughter of the mighty Hippotyta and the powerful Zeus, the King of the sky. I know, that we are not like you, but we are warriors, blessed by the gods. Not by yours, but still blessed.” When Ragnar, Rollo and Floki finally arrive, Earl Haraldson is shouting something about their death, but is stopped by them and the seer.

“Don’t touch them, Earl. They are children of three brothers, three gods and descendants of War himself. Their gods died long ago, to make place for ours, but they are still daughters of... the most powerful ones. Poseidon, the sea, Hades, the death and underworld and Zeus, the sky.”

“Their mother... is a Queen, a daughter of Ares, the god of war and rules the amazons, similar to our valkyries. Kill them and you will be punished, be our gods and theirs... but I am sure, they would kill you first.”

“The gods have great plans for you, daughters of gods. Great ones...” Never has the seer spoken so clearly about something, so Earl Haraldson let’s them ‘life’.

The three vikings and the three sisters meet each other at the feast. The men are totally smitten, just like many others, but the three make it clear, in who they are interested.

Now it goes pretty much like the series, Ragnar sails to England, while Rhea stays at Kattegat and looks after his son. At first, Björn has been wary, but realized, that his father and this amazon fit better together then his mother and his father. The two of them always fighted and Rhea brought peace in the house. She’s still passionate and as strong as the storm, but mostly calm.

Rollo and Diana immediatly hit off, so she goes with him to England. While Floki is accompanied by Persephone. The two of them bond over their wisedom, wits and the love and faith for the gods. So, the whole shit with Earl Haraldson happens, but Ragnar is healed by Rhea. After Ragnar becomes Earl, she sends words to her mother, some weeks after the first amazons arrive. The whole series speeds up, Ragnar becomes much faster King, while Rhea is the crown princess to the amazons.

Rollo becomes known as the Berserker and Diana as the storm woman, Floki becomes the name; the spawn of chaos (he loves the name) and Persephone the woman who controls death or Hela. Ragnar is just refered as the son of Odin and Rhea as the stormbringer.

So, a year later, Ragnar sails as the King of the vikings together with his Queen to England, Wessex. Her aunt, Antiope will look after Kattegat, just like the other amazons. And Rhea is pregnant the first time. Ragnar meets for the first time King Egbert and is rather surprised to find Lagertha by his side, as his Queen. His own daughter stares at him with pure hate, just like his former wife at Rhea.

“Ahhh... Ragnar, it’s nice to finally meet you.”

“It’s King Ragnar”, says a amazon automatically. Lagertha frowns, while Egberts smiles flatters.

“And who is this beautiful woman by your side?”

“My wife, Rhea, the stormbringer, Queen of the northmen and the crownprincess of Themyscira. Daughter of Queen Hippotyta and King Poseidon, the earthshaker.” Rhea nods with her head. King Egbert invites them to a bath in his bathhouse. He and Lagertha watch with careful eyes, how Ragnar starts to undress himself and steps in the water. Rhea let’s her coat falling on the ground, showing herself in her armor. She takes her headpice out of her hair and slowly removes piece for piece of her armor. Lagertha is full of envy, when she sees her naked and besides Ragnar, who pulls her onto his lap.

“A christian lives in a roman house... how interesting.” Egbert is surprised, she could speak his language and knows, that this is roman.

“How do you know, my Lady?”

“My parents are from ancient greece and I am well educated.”

So, Egbert and Ragnar talk about their lives as kings and such, much like in the series. Lagertha glares daggers at the new wife of Ragnar, she should be Queen of the vikings, not this bitch. She regets sailing away, maybe she could’ve talked some sense into Ragnar. But he dreamed about her, about this daughter of a sea god... and she is mere mortal.

Rhea smirks at Lagertha while playing with Ragnars long hair. When Egbert looks away, she controls the water and makes a dagger. Lagerthas eyes widden, Rheas grin becomes bigger.

So, Ragnar goes on raid, doesn’t let Rhea come with him bc she’s pregnant. Some timeskip. She births twins, names them Romulus and Remus, becomes pregnant again. Names this son Ivar.

Anyway. Ragnar is happy, Rhea too, basically everyone. She gives births two other sons, Ares and Thorund and a daughter, Odina.

“Thor: The Dark World” - nie tak udany, ale okej.

Dobrze, a teraz kilka słów o The Dark World, bo obiecałam podzielić się moimi przemyśleniami. Hmm... Od czego tu zacząć? Ten film był... dziwny... Obejrzałam go kilka razy (no, mniej razy niż Avengers i pierwszego "Thora"), a i tak nie wszystko z niego rozumiem. Zacznijmy od głównego villaina. Był on dość płytki, nie przekonywał mnie. Po pierwsze - niejasna jest jego motywacja. Albo po prostu głupia. Już chyba tylko gorszy był główny Zły z trzeciego Iron Mana. Tak czy owak Malekith to dziwna postać. Rozumiem, że chciano jakoś wprowadzić do MCU kolejny Kamień Nieskończoności, czyli Eter, ale działanie Mrocznych Elfów nijak nie ma sensu. Co oni tak naprawdę chcą osiągnąć? Bo zniszczenie całego wszechświata, pogrążenie go w mroku, to jakiś taki słaby cel. Już więcej motywacji ma Thanos z tą swoją misją wymazania połowy życia - po historii Tytana można nawet zrozumieć jego postępowanie. Tymczasem Malekith jest miałki. Nie wzbudza nie tylko ciekawości, ale nawet i lęku. Już lepszym od niego Złym jest jego generał - Algrim, znany również jako Kurse. Ten to przynajmniej jest potworem jak się patrzy :) Muszę przyznać, że chociaż Mroczne Elfy i ich statki fajnie wyglądają. To na plus. Na minus - jak zwykle, postać Odina. Znów dał popis swojej ojcowskiej troski. Jednego syna niemal by skazał na śmierć (do dziś zgrzytam zębami na wspomnienie, jak powiedział Lokiemu: "Your birthright was to die!"), natomiast drugiego kompletnie olał - zwłaszcza jego życie uczuciowe. Bo co by powiedział mądry rodzic, widząc, jak jego dziecko tęskni za swoją drugą połówką, jak cierpi i ma złamane serce? Porządny rodzic by pocieszał, zrozumiał uczucia dziecka. Tymczasem Odin dał Thorowi "mądrą" radę, aby ten zapomniał o Jane - i co więcej, Odin najchętniej by zeswatał Thora z Sif :P I na tym nie koniec. Jak Thor przyprowadza Jane do Asgardu, Odin publicznie obraża dziewczynę, wręcz ją poniża. Aż się dziwię, że Thor zareagował na to spokojnie, a miał pełne prawo przyłożyć ojcu w zęby :P Chociaż pewnie po takiej akcji wylądowałby w celi obok Lokiego, ale jaką by miał satysfakcję! Tak czy owak Odin bardzo się wywyższa i myśli, że wszystko co robi i powie jest najmądrzejsze i najlepsze. Jakkolwiek Thorowi życzę dobrze i wkurza mnie postępowanie jego ojca, tak muszę wspomnieć o kolejnym minusie tego filmu. A mianowicie o związku Thora z Jane. Nie wiem czemu, ale widzę tu wyraźne popsucie tego wątku. No oboje nie pasują mi do siebie za bardzo. Chciano na ekranie przedstawić wielką miłość, ale... Kurczę, czy to naprawdę jest miłość? Słabo mnie w każdym razie ona przekonuje. Chwaliłam sobie wątek miłosny w pierwszym Thorze. Rozumiałam nawet, czemu nasz bóg piorunów tak szybko i mocno się zakochał. W sumie podczas swojej banicji na Ziemi to Jane jako pierwsza wyciągnęła do niego rękę, pomogła mu. Ujęła go życzliwością, mądrością, zaufaniem. Miał prawo chłopak się zakochać. Mogę nawet powiedzieć, że Jane zmieniła go na lepsze. I nawet mi się to podobało. Ale później ten wątek kompletnie zaprzepaszczono. Thor tak rozpaczał po zniszczeniu Bifrostu, ale później był na Ziemi podczas całych "Avengersów" i ani razu nie skontaktował się z Jane, ba, nawet o niej nie wspomniał. Ja wiem, miał ręce pełne roboty, Loki, Teserakt i inne ważniejsze od dziewczyny sprawy, no ale gdzie ta wielka miłość? No i teraz w TDW powracają do tego wątku i znowu starają się przedstawić Thora i Jane jako idealną parę. Tylko już mi to tutaj trochę zgrzyta. Żeby nie było - ja Natalie Portman jako aktorkę bardzo lubię, ale tutaj jako Jane wyszła, no, trochę płytko... W dodatku jakoś kompletnie nie ma chemii pomiędzy Jane i Thorem, zupełnie, jak by spotkały się dwie obce osoby i ktoś próbował sparować je na siłę... Tak to odczuwam. W scenariuszu, czyli na papierze, ta miłość nawet nieźle wychodzi, ale zagrana we filmie jest dość przeciętnie przedstawiona. Dammit, muszę przyznać, że nawet więcej chemii jest między Thorem i Lokim i nie oszukujmy się - jak występują ze sobą w duecie, to kradną cały film. I to właśnie jest wielki plus TDW. Nareszcie są zmuszeni ze sobą współpracować i wychodzi to naprawdę nieźle - aż miło widzieć, że obaj bracia mogą się tak świetnie dogadywać. Szkoda natomiast, że taki smutny koniec spotkał Friggę. Naprawdę ją lubiłam, była przeciwieństwem Odina - kochającym i troskliwym rodzicem. Żałuję w sumie, że we filmach tak mało było pokazanych jej relacji z synami. Przydałoby się więcej. Chociaż przyznać muszę, że więź łącząca ją z Lokim musiała być wyjątkowa - on tak bardzo przeżył jej śmierć. I w sumie ta śmierć była kołem napędowym filmu i z pewnością przyczyniła się do tego, że Loki zaczął się zmieniać i przeszedł z etapu villaina do antybohatera. Co jeszcze... Najbardziej wzruszająca scena to był pogrzeb Friggi oraz "śmierć" Lokiego. Rany, aż mnie coś ściska w gardle, jak sobie przypomnę tę smutną scenę. Aha, z ciekawostek - kiedy to kręcili, naprawdę chcieli uśmiercić Lokiego, dopiero potem w scenariuszu zmienili co nieco, abyśmy mogli dłużej cieszyć się naszym ukochanym bohaterem ^^ Tak czy owak bardzo piękna i pełna emocji scena... Natomiast pewne działania postaci nie mają w tym filmie zupełnie sensu. O motywacjach Malekitha już pisałam. Nie jarzę też kompletnie, o co chodziło Heimdallowi, kiedy zawołał Odina i przyznał się przed nim do zdrady. Nie mógł po prostu siedzieć cicho? Gdyby nic nie powiedział, Thor, Loki i Jane pewnie nie musieliby uciekać przed strzelającą do nich flotą powietrzną Asgardu. Odin to w ogóle dziwnie się zachowywał. Najpierw miał pretensje do Thora, że ten sprowadził dziewczynę do Asgardu, a później, jak Thor chciał ją wywieźć, aby nie narażać pałacu na kolejny atak Mrocznych Elfów, Odin mu odmówił. No to niech się wreszcie Odin zdecyduje - chce zatrzymać Jane (wraz z Eterem) w swoim królestwie, czy nie? Nie pojmuję też zupełnie, jak Thor mógł zostawić Lokiego, martwego czy nie, na tym paskudnym i zimnym pustkowiu... No tak się nie robi swoim bliskim... :( :( Nie wiem też, po co Selvig latał goły po Stonehenge (chociaż wielkie brawa za odwagę dla aktora, bo naprawdę się do tej sceny rozebrał :)) No i jeszcze na końcu Thor odmówił przejęcia tronu... Coś nie bardzo ma ochotę zasiadać na Hlidskjalfie. Dziwne to, zwłaszcza, że w pierwszym filmie tak bardzo pragnął być królem (a nie był na to gotowy tak naprawdę...) Realizacyjnie film był nawet całkiem niezły. Miło zobaczyć Asgard w całej swojej świetności (o, i nawet wiadomo teraz, że i tam czasami bywa zimno...), miło zobaczyć, chociaż tylko przez chwilę, ponownie Jotunheim. Sceny walk i pościgów były nawet całkiem spoko. No i Londyn, moje ukochane miasto :D (przynajmniej raz nie Hameryka stała się obiektem najazdu obcych z kosmosu). Było sporo humoru, było też sporo powagi. Tak czy owak film może nie najlepszy, ale wystarczająco dobry, abym się nie nudziła. Dałabym mu jakieś 6/10 punktów.

“Thor” (2011) - kilka słów o filmie

Dzisiaj zaczynam mój cykl recenzji i jako pierwszy na tapetę wezmę film „Thor” Ogólnie nie ma chyba rzeczy, która by mi się w tym filmie nie podobała. Wszystko było zrównoważone - i humor i tragedia, tak samo jak sceny akcji i sceny z dialogami. Najbardziej mnie interesował ten film ze względu na pokazanie dość skomplikowanej relacji pomiędzy braćmi. Coś-tam w sieci poczytałam (na szczęście unikając jakichś większych spoilerów) i wiedziałam, że na to muszę zwrócić uwagę. Jak już wiecie pewnie, dla mnie ten temat jest nieobcy - sama mam w domu wciąż rywalizujących ze sobą dwóch synów, tak też bardzo zwracam uwagę na tego typu wątki we filmach. Stąd też zaciągnęłam dzieciaki do oglądania niegdyś Jurassic World. Dlatego też tak bardzo wyszukuję drobnych szczegółów w relacji Data-Lore. I dlatego zawsze lubiłam dynamikę Dantego-Vergila w DMC. No i tutaj mamy kolejny przykład. Mamy klasyczny przykład jednego brata żyjącego w cieniu drugiego, z jednej strony zazdrosnego i podstępnego, ale mimo wszystko łączy ich silna więź. Thor jest wg mnie postacią bardzo pozytywną, bo traktuje brata na równi z sobą, co widać zwłaszcza w tej wyciętej z filmu scence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P23aKF-694k no i między nimi jest jednak prawdziwa miłość braterska, co się daje odczuć w wielu momentach. Jedyne co, to Loki się trochę pogubił, zwłaszcza, gdy dowiedział się o swoim pochodzeniu i to było już równią pochyłą dla niego. Jest mi tak naprawdę go strasznie szkoda, zwłaszcza że naprawdę chciał zdobyć uznanie ojca :( Szkoda, że doprowadziło go to do autodestrukcji i został przeciągnięty na ciemną stronę mocy. Yyy, nie to uniwersum, sorry ;) Co do innych postaci, to również bardzo pozytywnie je odbieram. Przyjaciele Thora - każdy miał inny charakter, ale jednak potrafili razem stawić czoła największym niebezpieczeństwom. Frigga też widać, że bardzo kocha swoich synów. Odin - jak to Odin, musi zgrywać twardego i bezwzględnego króla, ale stara się być dobrym ojcem dla Thora (co prawda tylko dla Thora, bo ojcem dla Lokiego jest fatalnym, ale pomińmy ten fakt milczeniem). W tym miejscu muszę pochwalić grę aktorką Anthonyego Hopkinsa, naprawdę dał z siebie wszystko (pomimo, że jego postać pół filmu przespała ;)) Jeśli już o aktorach mowa, to wiele osób źle ocenia Natalie Portman jako Jane. A mnie się nawet podobała. Była chemia między nią a Thorem, no, może nie taka wielka jak między Thorem a Lokim, ale mimo wszystko Jane i Thor do siebie pasują i fajna z nich parka. Skoro już o Jane mowa, to czas powiedzieć co nieco o przygodach ziemskich Thora. Było naprawdę wesoło (świetne gagi, jak na przykład trafił do szpitala, albo jak się upijał z Selvigiem) - wszystko związane z tropem tzw. "fish out of water" w przypadku naszego głównego bohatera świetnie się sprawdziło. Były też sceny wzruszające (jak np. Thor nie mógł wyciągnąć Mjollnira, albo gdy myślał, że jego ojciec nie żyje). Podobały mi się też ogólnie jego interakcje z ziemskimi przyjaciółmi oraz z rządowym SHIELDem. W filmie została zachowana równowaga jeśli chodzi o wydarzenia pokazane w Asgardzie oraz na Ziemi, a wszystko się ze sobą pięknie połączyło w finale. Dość tragicznym finale, bo tak naprawdę Thor stracił i Jane i brata... Tak czy owak podobała mi się przeplatająca się przez wątek Asgardu polityczna intryga. Świetnie były pokazane delikatne stosunki dyplomatyczne pomiędzy mieszkańcami Asgardu i Jotunami. Delikatne, bo jak wynika, ani jednych ani drugich lepiej nie tykać nawet kijem, bo wojna wisi na włosku - jedynie roztropność Odina jakoś przeciwdziałała wybuchowi konfliktu. Widać to chociażby po scence, kiedy Laufey nazywa Thora "księżniczką" i to wystarcza, aby obie strony zaczęły się srogo lać ;) Szczerze mówiąc z całego filmu nie zostało jedynie wyjaśnione, jaką drogą Jotunowie dostali się na początku filmu do Asgardu, aby skraść szkatułę, bo to, że nie użyli Bifrostu jest pewne (Heimdall czuwa - BTW, kolejna bardzo fajna postać, pomaga przyjaciołom Thora w - bądź co bądź - rebelii). Wiadomo jedynie, że Loki ich tam wprowadził, a znając Lokiego jestem skłonna przypuszczać, że użył jakichś swoich tajnych dróg. Hmm, co tam jeszcze mogę dodać... Ogólnie postacie super, historia super, relacje pomiędzy bohaterami genialne, no i nie ma bata, Thor musiał pokazać gołą klatę - i to też na plus <3 <3 Z kobiecych postaci najbardziej mi się podobała Darcy - fajna laska i potrafi strzelać taserem :D Podobały mi się też szczegóły i szczególiki, które albo zauważyłam sama, albo doczytałam potem w tv tropes. Były nawet wyst��pienia cameo. Aha, no i bardzo się cieszę, że pokazali chociaż przez chwilę Sleipnira (konia Odina). Kiedyś interesowałam się nieco mitologią skandynawską (za czasów jeszcze Sg-1, gdzie Thor, jak może niektórzy pamiętają, był kosmitą), więc od razu zwróciłam na to uwagę. A Loki jest śliczny... Od dzisiaj jestem w #teamloki

Ogólnie wyszła z tego bardzo szekspirowska opowieść (nic dziwnego, w końcu ma znakomitego szeksprirowskiego reżysera) z rewelacyjnie napisanymi postaciami, tymi dobrymi, jak i złymi i niezłą dwuwątkową fabułą. Mój ulubiony film w MCU, jak do tej pory.
