Sometimes I forget to appreciate how wonderful judaism is and how beautiful we are as a people. It's easy to dread the work that comes with Shabbat or the high holidays, but don't forget what you're doing it for. You're engaging in a practice that Jews have for thousands of years, and in a way you're carrying on that memory. What a gift it is to be Jewish, to be able to find family in strangers.

Hot take, but I'm personally over the entire thing of trying to get characters to fit certain celestial bodies. It just feels forced now. It was fun in the beginning w the sun, the stars, and the moon, but now it just feels like reaching imo.

Do what you want, but I'm a bit tired bc often it overshadows that persons pov or actual storyline, and often drags up things that were never that important or is just relevant to another series.

Can more people please watch odd taxi, its story and dialogue writing is genuinely so fantastic. Its characters are so real to the point its almost jarring, and the art and music direction is phenomenal. its only 12 episodes and it USES those 12 episodes. I genuinely don't think there's any show like it. (but if there is, send them my way) the only preface I can give for it is that its a crime thriller and AVOID SPOILERS

please I'm tired of every other isekai show getting its 5th season while a masterpiece like odd taxi gets ignored cause it has furries. PLEASE

what kind of food do you think Danse would like? like, if he wasn't in the wasteland and had access to real, genuinely good food? :]

I don't want to be generic but I honestly think this guy eats like a bear.

He likes proteins and things that sit heavy. This is not because they are generally more filling but most heavy meals are fatty and carb-filled foods that are his favorites. Very much a loaded potato, steak, entire rotisserie chicken sort of guy. The type to clearly be full but say "One more bite won't hurt" and then eat the rest. Not greedy but it's like a simple pleasure you can do a lot yourself and it's not like he wouldn't work it off.

I honestly don't see him as a sweets person. He won't go out of his way for most sweets but I think he'd fuck up a pound cake or like devil's food cake. The guy just seems like he likes rich, savory or heavy things. He'll eat whatever is given without a fuss but he's got the ability and repressed desires to clean out an Arby's.

If he was eating with plastic utensils and saw them after you'd be horrified.
