So, now it's the 12th anniversary of the tmnt 2012 and finally I'm going to draw their future. But I would like a headcanon from @fabuloustrash05 , because I enjoyed reading their future together so much!

Just rewatched the episode “Requiem” right before I have to leave for school.

I give it an 8/10.

10 points for amazing writing, dialogue, and making me feel immense loss and empathy for fictional characters.

Minus 2 because I’m definitely going to be crying all day now.

requiem and owari kinda suck

it especially does splinter so dirty.

like requiem has this whole deal about “leo don’t lead with your head lead with your heart”

which i hate.

like,, listen. yes your heart, which ig means your love for others? is very important! but without your mind, your heart has no direction

what splinter should’ve said is something like,, use your head, but use it for the good of your team, or something.

also leo said splitting up was a bad idea later in the episode, and splinter told him no,,,, EVEN THO LEO WAS RIGHT??? he was using his head to keep his team safe!! he had the better strategy!

splinter’s plan just got himself killed!!

and his whole talk with leo just bothers me. i don’t like the “oh no you asking to be leader didn’t matter bc you were gonna be leader anyway” thing. like don’t tell him that agdkah.

say something more like,, “you asking showed your humility and eager spirit to lead your brothers.”

and also it implies that splinter put more effort into teaching leo to be a leader than the others.

yes leo is best qualified to be the leader. but everyone has leader qualities, and to ignore those qualities for the other 3 brothers is a bad move. teach them to also know how to lead in case something happened to leo. don’t put leo on such a pedestal. also leo has such an ego, pls don’t encourage it agdkahdk

also i have mixed feelings about karai being sent to the hospital. i like how she goes down in a burning building as an echo to her mother’s death, but karai deserved to join her brothers in defeating shredder.

and leo shouldn’t have been the one giving her mouth to mouth bc of implications

like,,, any of her other brothers or splinter or april would’ve been better bc there’s no implications there. or have shini do it.

and in owari, I HATE IT SM.

splinter’s like,,,,, “so yknow how i’ve been telling you for the whole series, as recently as two episodes ago, that revenge is always a bad idea … yeah ignore that and go avenge me pls”

i just wish instead of splinter telling them to avenge him, shredder went and decided to destroy splinter’s family too, and the turtles defeated him in defense or something. it might’ve made more sense idk.

and the fight scene is cool but i have notes.

i wish april and casey got a few hits before losing the boss fight privileges. they were shoved out before it even started smh.

all the boys got their spotlight which i love but ,,,, WHY WAS DONNIE KICKED OUT FIRST I HATE IT

and it sucks bc he almost got the coolest part of the fight. when he dived at shredder with his naginata and splashed him with retromutagen. it felt so worthless and idk i want more for donnie.

i like leo beheading shredder but i wish the brothers were there to witness it. like it only being leo there feels less like teenage mutant ninja turtles,,, all four brothers ,,,,, and more like the leonardo show. LEO’S MY FAVORITE CHARACTER BUT HES NOT THE ONLY MAIN CHARACTER.

and like okay there are good scenes (like april and casey) but these are my gripes that i’m thinking about rn

First look at the ToaF's Purple Peepaw,

sure he isn't from the same universe

as Case & our favorite Blue Peepaw.

Yeah he is semi feral & lonely & a dash

homicidal.

But he doesn't bite that often.

I've been calling him Displaced Don, but he does need a real moniker at some point.

This Donnie and Raph move from Owari, while short-lived, changed my brain chemistry permanently.

These two end up having THE BEST battle choreography in every series, you actually can NOT change my mind. Unless you're talking about the rise movie choreography

We need more acknowledgement regarding Donatello's strength and Raph's agility in this series, because there are multiple moments where this boy is dramatically spinning and twirling. I think Donnie can bench press a schoolbus if he tried.

TMNT 2012 but it’s the quack pack episode of Ducktales 2017

Donald wishes that they could just live a normal life, not realizing that he was holding a genie lamp.

The family is transported to a set of a house and their recent memories are erased

Dewey, Louie, Webby, Della, and LP live out classic 90s sitcom shenanigans. Meanwhile Huey looses his mind, slowly realizing that their living in a tv show ( Think Wandavision)

The big plot twist is that Donald was aware the whole time and (subconsciously-ish) choosing to keep them there, in order to escape Donald had to realize that even though it was stressful and crazy, he loved his life and wouldn’t change it for anything.

I think this plot would translate really well into TMNT 12.

Donatello would be in Donald’s place. He has a very similar character arc throughout the series that isn’t fully addressed, plus his insecurities and how he’s jealous of humans 

I also think Mikey being in Hueys place would really add to the nightmare-fuel of the episode, no one’s going to believe him at first, sounds like ‘classic Mikey nonsense’

Idk where in the series it would go

Maybe somewhere in season 4? In space? The genie could be a 5th dimensional being like wyrm?

Or maybe in season 5?? After Owari and everything?

What If Mona Lisa Was In More Episodes?

A TMNT 2012 Rewrite

If you follow me or have seen any of my posts then you know I absolutely LOVE 2012 Mona Lisa. She is my favorite character in the show and I love her relationship with Raphael. But it always bothered me that she didn’t get a lot of screen time, something I found strange especially since it’s canon that she becomes a member of the Mighty Mutanimals, but we never see her with the Mutanimals. Wasted potential if you ask me.

So, I’m rewriting Mona Lisa’s role in the story, giving her more episodes to be involved in. Keep in mind for this rewrite, everything from The Moons of Thalos 3 (her intro ep) to The Evil of Dregg will remain the same, the rewrite begins in the next episode, The Ever Burning Fire, so lets begin…
