Lets talk about some of the new changes happening with the remastered version of OFF!!! (LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!!!!)

All this info is from the Mortis Ghost stream he made talking about the game!

There's now a respawn function! When you die, it gives you an option to start back at the room you originally died in

There's now a hint button you can press when you're unsure what to do next or if a puzzle is a little too hard

Updated animations/sprites (footstep trails! ladder animation!)

New main menu screen!

Zacharie's shop menu is also new!

New things are in the game that can't be shown yet, but here's some info we are allowed to know about;

Battle system has been reworked, more balanced and more fun

There will be more announcements in the future about the development of the game!

They no longer have the rights to the OG music + soundtrack so they have to remake it all for this version

The original game will forever be free and the original soundtrack will stay on that version too

New content including new secrets, new bosses, new areas and more!

Will release in English and French at first and will later get a Japanese version at another date

Could (probably) have Steam achievements though he's unsure

Some new lore is being added in the comic book that's only available in the Switch Collector's Edition

OKAY WOW SO I JUST FINISHED KAMEN RIDER SABER 💥💥💥

First of all... Damn this season gets SO much hate. At least on twitter/reddit, where they decide to all collectively hate on specific seasons whenever they get even mentioned 💀

But yeah, it was a lot of fun! YES I do have some criticism, it wasn't perfect, but still a really good watch! Espeeeecially loved the main cast. All the characters were so lovable and it was fun seeing them interact and all get so attached to each other the more the show went on. I think with the theme and message of the season, it just really fits that the characters are the shows strongest pillar! :]

The story overall was interesting enough to keep me binge watching, but there were times I just thought okay this pacing is just. Really weird. I don't know how to explain it, but every single episode from episode 1 on felt like it was getting close to the finale. It just felt a bit weird??? Like, just getting thrown into the show isn't a rare thing in Kamen Rider, but here it really felt so chaotic lmao?? Everything was so rushed, so then the finale felt a bit too dragged out honestly. But the last episode was so incredibly peak that I can excuse that... I just can never bring myself to be harsh in toku criticism because, at the end of the day, I went through all of those episodes and had fun and that's most important for me 😭

This is really the main criticism I have... Then, well, it's not really criticism, because I don't think there were badly written, but all the antagonists just... Idk, I just didn't really like them? Not because they're grrr evil, if you know me you know I love a lot of antagonists and hated characters, but they were just so mid to me. I just didn't really care about those characters? If anything, I cared more in the final episode in that one scene. I do respect Master Logos tho for being comically evil and silly for the love of the game‼️

ALSO THE SOUNDTRACK!!! Man I loved the soundtrack so much. As always, music is such an important thing to me in a show, especially when I can listen to it afterwards and just get hyped again. When it comes to the songs with vocals, the opening was nice, but GRAHH I LOVE THE ENDING!!! And of cooouuuurse Rewrite the Story. Absolute masterpiece 💥💥💥💥💥

Ah and ofc the overall motive and all that. Y'know, back when I was still in school, from when I joined my after-elementary-school school, so from 5th grade on over here, I was in a book club and met basically all my school friends through that (Sometimes we'd even have sleepovers IN THE SCHOOL!!! This was the coolest thing ever). Later even joined the school's library team! I sometimes wrote stuff or did the absolute worst amateur comics and my friends were so excited to read them. Had a fun rp group mixed with both irl and online friends and people were basically fighting over interacting with my characters, which is still wild to me 😭

So... OF COUUURSE!!!! OF COURSE it all being about books and the bonds created through them hits close to home in the sweetest heartwarming way OUGHH!!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭

It just really once again shows how there's toku shows for everyone and seasons that especially personally correspond with someone, I love the power of tokusatsu...

What got me into kendrick was my dad making me listen 2 Money Trees, A.D.H.D, and I think m.A.A.d city. Ofc I heard HUMBLE. and LOYALTY on the radio and I hated it at first as a kid. I think I was like 10 at the time. Omg dude that shit was js so amazing... (I was born 2008 and DAMN. came out 2018 had 2 do some math... shit was very popular when it came out.) I used 2 be annoyed by rap bc I had a grudge against my dad at the time. It grew on me as I heard it and now that I'm older I js fucking love it.

8. What are your opinions on Looks to the Moon?

oughh.. I love her.. she's such a great character and I'm so happy they gave her more dialogue in Downpour.. I think some of her dialogue in the DLC can be a little bit too cutesy sometimes. Especially in Rivulet's campaign, which I feel is quite unusual for her character. But regardless, I still love her with my whole heart.

9. What are your opinions on Five Pebbles?

I like to see him struggle. But now really, I feel indifferent about him, I get the whole hype from the community. But he's not my type of character. Sure his struggles and obsessions with finding what he thinks will be his way of ascension is interesting. But I literally have the mindset of a slugcat, because for me he's just a free karma machine (and a cool region too), which is funny because he angrily mentions it almost every time a slugcat visits him.

10. What is your most memorable in-game moment?

I think it is the first time I played the game and entered FP from The Exterior (Horrible first experience I know), and I was so mesmerized by the rooms while Random Gods played in the background. And after I exited from FP's can to the wall and watched the beautiful scenery. I think it changed something in my brain because the day after I played this game all day and I remember this moving event since to this day.

18. How did the ending make you feel?

God I remember the first time I finished the game, it was the first game that I cried to. Even then when I didn't quite realize what just had happened, the ending still managed to awaken strong emotions in me. I think it's just was so sudden, I realized I'm in the endgame but I didn't expect to it to end that way. After so many experiences and struggles in my journey, the game just kinda ended, as all games end. Not that it was bad, the opposite actually. It was a satisfying relief that filled me, mixed up with the sadness that comes up when you finish a game that you enjoyed so much playing. Luckily due to Rain World's replayability the game didn't really end. Two more campaigns remained, and much much more to explore and learn about this game. Ofc later I learned about the ending's meaning in respect of the overall message of the game. Which made this ending much more effective.
