What an interesting question dear ^^ My favorites are Paru Itagaki and Suzanne Collins. There are another writers, but I chose these two because they made a impact on my life. I felt in love with their stories. 💗 Both are very creative and lovely, I'll always love their stories, they're my idols and inspiration.

he's so gentle and loving. he has so many reasons to be jaded and selfish and bitter but he's not. he values innocence, he is so kind especially to kids, he wants to protect his loved ones and to fight for them rather than himself. he's my favorite archetype of character: the gentle badass. real "i do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. i love only that which they defend" energy.

least favorite thing about them

yoshida (and therefore a chunk of the fandom)'s insistence that actually he had to die to achieve peace because actually Fuck people with ptsd i guess

he doesn't try to get eiji to leave him/try to leave eiji bc of ~abandonment issues~ lmfao he does it bc eiji got kidnapped and traumatized in a horrific way once already and he doesn't wanna see it happen again??? also i am literally begging yall to learn how to characterize him correctly bc i swear to god everyone either leans too hard into ~dark academia~ tropes/aesthetics (i.e. makes him just straight up ooc) or makes his literal only trait "having ptsd" and both of those takes fucking suck actually.

especially the "his only personality trait is having trauma" one, bc it invariably leads to demonization of ppl w trauma bc it DOES make a relationship read as v unhealthy if one person in it has literally no personality outside of being traumatized and sad all the time. but thats not ACCURATE or even realistic as a depiction of ppl w ptsd and it makes me want to tear my hair out!!! *stern parent voice* im gonna have to take ash lynx away if yall dont learn to behave

Gentlemen, a short view back to the past.. 🤣🤣🤣 . favorite thing about them: he's insane??????? No but really I find him fascinating, his backstory has SO MUCH potential it drives me insane. I love the religious aspects of his character, both thematically and aesthetically. I also ADORE that he's a fun "villain" and that he keeps being fun until the very end?? Like, with Akaza and Koku, things got very serious at the end, they reflected on what they have done and felt complex feelings about it. But Douma???? He did not gave a single shit he was dying and did not regret a thing he did. I just love me some fun bad guy who learns nothing

least favorite thing about them: not a big fan of him having ice powers, i think it's kinda lame

favorite line: every time he goes "eh?" and "huh?" i feel that 😔

brOTP: I think him, daki and gyutaro would have such a good dynamic, i need some lotus lineage shenanigans

OTP: listen, roger's rum au made me a douma x koku shipper, they work really well together, it's a very interesting dynamic

nOTP: him and kotoha or shinobu is just a no no for me. Nothing wrong with any of this ships, it's just not my cup of tea

Wow I got tagged in something lol I am blessed 😂😭👌 Guess I gotta give y'all some facts about me even tho I am boring and less than interesting lol

1) I really started getting into gaming when Final Fantasy XV came out. It was the first "big" game I ever played and completed. So I guess it sparked my love for gaming 💖

2) I'm really smol and skinny for my age. Even tho I'm now an adult, I still get asked if I want a kid's menu...dude...I at LEAST look 15-16 YET YOU STILL A SK ME T H AT,, this is just me raging

3) Hiccup and Astrid were the first otp of mine and they got me into shipping and learning about fandoms. I rewatched the first movie when HTTYD 2 was coming out, and then watched HTTYD 2 and tried so hard NOT TO BAWL (httyd 2 is probably my favorite tho lol)
