For some reason I haven’t been able to post for a while but got that issue resolved! Here are some drone shots I took of the OSV Damon Bankston. This vessel was on location when the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded. The crew of this vessel saved a lot of people during the incident. I recently learned it is being refurbished and will become a research vessel. 🚢

love that u asked this even though you know full well what it is but i am not complaining!! sooooo osv, or one small victory, is my BABY. like, the word count on my planning doc is nearing a thousand words and i have a tag for it even though i have written exactly one word in the real gdoc.

it's based on the song dawns by zach bryan which is extremely painful and i consider it mandatory listening. in essence, the premise is that max and daniel, who are ex-somethings giving their relationship another shot, have a crash that ends both of their WDC campaigns, and the fic takes place in all of the aftermath. what i really am just trying to do is test the limits of showing a character at their worst, without writing them ooc, and to explore just how much a relationship can come back from! here's the lines that caught my eye:
