I know the red valley creators litteraly added 'owner of a lonely heart' by yes to THEIR OWN GORDON PLAYLIST but I'm still amazed everytime I listen to it on just how well it fits him. like

"shake, shake yourself // you're every move you make // so the story goes!

owner of a lonely heart // (its much better than a) owner of a broken heart"

#the 'your every move u make' line reminds me of that good/bad hats little monologue he has.#“now i dont know who wears the bad hats and who wears the good hats. i dont even know which hat i wear. i dont even own a hat”#<- can also be applied to all the free will mentions in the song #i think the owner of a lonely heart and owner of a broken heart can be interpretated in two ways:#either a) gordon is both 'owners' and its a matter of his very secretive and probably sad past vs the present #OR b) gordon is the owner of the lonely heart and warren is the owner of the broken heart #either ways its so good. one of my favs on that playlist it slaps so hard #red valley #gordon porlock
