could you imagine a rapper yandere that disses anyone that even MENTIONS their darling/"girlfriend" is a way that isn't worshipping. and he disses hard.
When I say "girlfriend" I mean, the rapper knows the name, address, occupation, phone number, email, etc, has a shrine full of photos that he hired people to take over someone that doesn't know anything about it.
reader is just another person who listens to music and knows his name in passing and his reputation for dissing anyone who talks "bad" about his girl. reader respects it, but doesn't really listen to rap so they move on with their life, completely unaware that THEY are the girl.
it's a complete coincidence that the features and traits that he raps about are the exact same as them. There are plenty of people with that trait.
and no one bats an eye that no photos of the "girlfriend" exists to the public. It's no surprise someone with his level of fame would want to keep their girl private.
"I saw you yesterday at your grandma's, it's a real shame what happened to your grandpops, I need some new fertilizer in my garden, been growing some bad crops, your girl Morgan so bad you're getting blowjobs from your grandma?"
*camera noises*
(I'm not a rapper, apologies for ✨cringe✨)
hey so please don’t apologise i actually fucking love this idea. 😭😭❤️🩹 this would be so so cute bonus points for being set in the early 2000’s so we’re in that era of pop and rap where it’s rlly just a few big names dominating the charts, the fun awards shows, cool fashion; y2k baby!
and in this new age of music you’ve got this chart topping rapper who (unlike the other guys in his genre) seems to be rapping not about his opps or his cars or his cash or his bitches but… how much he loves his gf. it’s incredibly endearing.
if only his gf actually knew she was dating him!
and when he stays on top of those charts, wins all those music awards; there’s bound to be jealousy and bitter envy. other artists complain. celebrity interviewers and journalists eat it up; “so what do you think of this mystery girl that seems to be the subject of all his music?”
his competitor rolls his eyes, “dumb as fuck, the both of them. always banging on about how lovely she is how pretty and smart she is… this bitch is a one hit wonder, you feel me?”
… he did not like that. drake vs kanye 2.0 ensues except this time there is no coming back for the poor soul who has the balls to say that. rapper ‘bf’ puts the poor guy’s life on blast.
‘industry plant? least i’m not a plant by the government / makin’ sure them anti bullying campaigns is working.”
okay, that’s not so bad right?
“your funny’s up, but your syndrome’s down, like your money after i put this out—but your dick stays up / when you drive ‘round and look for little boys to spend a night with in town.”
oh! well. looks like nobody’s going to mention this mysterious girl rapper bf adores so much ever again :’)
#ooooh the album cover being a single colour#and it’s like the colour of ur eyes#and i just know this man has a tattoo of ur name somewhere the cameras can’t see#not cus he’s shy (fuck no)#but because he can’t scare u off before he introduces himself to ya#ring ring#yandere x reader#yandere oc#yandere headcanons

I must have missed the Met Gala ‘fuck off’ Anna Wintour thingy mabob regarding Meghan.
If you have time could you please expand on it? I saw it on another post and it really peaked my interest 😁
Sure! The only way the rumor makes sense is if you know "Met Gala 101" so I'll start there, then dive into the rumor. I will warn you now, the rumor ends up getting a little tinhatty because the timing is strange.
The main thing to know is that Anna Wintour has final say over everything that happens at the Met Gala, including what/who people wear. (Some people believe she personally approves every outfit, others think she just likes knowing what people are wearing so she can edit and organize the red carpet like it's a photoshoot.) As part of this, Anna also has final approval over who is invited as plus-ones to the designers.
So there are a few different ways to get on the invite list for the Met Gala:
Be the guest of a designer/fashion house who has bought a table or tickets. To get a designer +1, you usually need a personal relationship with a designer (either an ambassadorship like Kristen Stewart is for Chanel or you're besties like Sarah Jessica Parker and Alexander McQueen or Zac Posen and Katie Holmes) or you need to be a hot It celebrity of the moment like Zendaya, Taylor Swift, Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordie.
Purchase your own ticket (they start at $50K nowadays).
Be a huge donor to the Met, either in money or time.
Work at Vogue or one of the Gala's sponsors.
Perform at the Gala (which is how the Kardashians finally got invited - Kim was Kanye's +1, who was performing).
Be the partner/friend of someone who fits into one of these categories, and hope they get a +1 and choose you.
(I also think the gala's co-hosts get a couple of tickets for free.)
That's "Met Gala 101." Now, the rumor.
Edward Enninful, who was then the editor of British Vogue, was said to have invited Meghan to the Met Gala as his +1. (He gets tickets for being a Vogue employee and Anna approved Meghan as his guest because she fell under "hot It celebrity of the moment".) Allegedly, when Anna asked to know what Meghan was going to wear, Meghan upset/offended her, and Anna rescinded her approval for Meghan to be Edward's guest and Edward dropped Meghan.
There are a few different versions about what Meghan did to Anna:
Meghan refused to tell Anna who/what she was wearing.
Anna gave suggestions to Meghan and she refused to listen.
Meghan lied/changed her mind about who she was wearing after getting Anna's OK and changed her outfit.
Supposedly this was for Met Gala 2019. Supposedly, Meghan was so pissed off that she was uninvited from the Met Gala that she had Archie on May 6th to steal the headlines/thunder from Anna in revenge.
I'm not sure how valid this one is. The timing is suspicious because no way would anyone let a due-any-day pregnant woman travel like that, especially not one who was said to be overdue. (I think Harry wrote in Spare that Archie was 2 weeks overdue.) So either it confirms surrogacy - especially when you remember that in January or February, Meghan told a wellwisher "nearly there, not long to wait" about her pregnancy - or it's completely made up. It wouldn't be the first time that someone made something up and it caught on like wildfire.
It's more plausible to me if this was about the 2018 Met Gala, which was held May 7, 2018. A quick google search showed Meghan didn't have any events or make any public appearances around that time so it's possible she could've been planning a quick popover before the wedding. It's when she would have been most in demand and most sought-after, and it would have been a real coup for Anna and Edward to get her "red carpet society debut" over British society.
It wouldn't have been Met Gala 2020, which was cancelled for COVID. Enninful didn't go to Met Gala 2021 (it overlapped with the opening of London Fashion Week and he was photographed at parties with Naomi Campbell. I documented the rumor on my spreadsheet in 2021 so any of the years after don't count.
So, that's the rumor and the backstory. It's totally up to you whether you believe it or not. If it is true, or a variation of it is true, then the Met Gala crowd and the New York elite crowd that's close to Anna would've absolutely heard about Meghan's behavior. The other thing to remember about Anna is that she also occupies British society too, so she may also be aware of what British society says about Meghan (and Harry).
I'll end this with a little bit of Met Gala gossip from last year (2023). Last year, Olivia Wilde showed up to the Met Gala in the same outfit as Margaret Zhang, Vogue China's editor (Olivia's dress was white, Margaret's was blue). This sort of snafu is exactly why Anna likes to have input in what people wear, so Olivia Wilde showing up to a red carpet in the same outfit of another guest - a Vogue editor specifically - is the worst fashion sin of them all. That she did it at the Met Gala? With the entire world watching? I mean, you might as well go crawl under the Brooklyn Bridge and accept your life as the new bridge troll. But that's not the juicy bit. The juicy bit is that Olivia Wilde showing up in the same outfit of another guest means she wasn't the +1 for a designer or a guest of the Met because Anna would've told her to wear something else since the outfit was committed to Margaret. It means that Olivia paid $50K out of pocket to be embarrassed and supposedly Anna and Margaret were both so upset by it that Olivia may have been blacklisted from the gala for a few years. Now, why would Olivia shell out $50K for a ticket? Allegedly Harry Styles was going to be there too and she wanted to get back together with him.

share with us ummm. What You'd Like To See More Of and/or What You'd Like To See Less Of from ms. taylor swift
my More Of and Less Of are kind of two sides of the same coin so this is going to be a combined answer, but basically i feel like over the past couple of eras (particularly in ttpd, but you can see the seeds of it in midnights and even in certain vault tracks from the rerecordings naming no names atw10) she's leaned into the perception some fans have of her music as Very Clever Lore Dumps Filled With Easter Eggs And Elaborate Symbolism And Vocab Words and her songs have become an increasingly flanderised version of this perception at the expense of what she is actually best at - i.e. songs that have a clever balance of confessional specificity and general public relatability while also being fucking bangers
it's particularly depressing because i'd really, truly say say up to and including folklore/evermore (with the exception of the lakes, which i honestly do not like one bit & think was the beginning of the end for this sort of thing, lol) she was one of the most consistently fantastic lyricists in the main pop girlie game, that was really her entire USP, and now it's honestly really rare that i listen to a newer song of hers that doesn't have at least one clunker of a line that makes me actually wince. and all of the ones that have that effect for me are the ones where she gets overly verbose for the sake of it (i find "how did it end" unlistenable for this very reason which is a shame because i think the concept behind the song is fantastic and i WISH i could love it) or the ones where she wraps herself up in trying to drop so much personal lore that it stops making sense to anyone who isn't listening to her music with the mindset of a genius.com annotator (e.g. the "spider boy, king of thieves" verse in karma which i lowkey have to brace myself to get through hahaha). it's astonishing and saddening to look back on songs from earlier in her career where she drops extremely specific personal details but in a way that is snappy and effective and cohesive and, most importantly, makes sense to a casual listener who knows nothing about taylor swift's life story - for example, the bridge of "out of the woods", or the "tilted stage" line in lwymmd which is clearly about kanye's tour staging if you're in the know but makes sense as a metaphor for unfair treatment if you have no idea of the context of the song. like where's THAT tswift lyricism now!!!!
(this clear decline in lyrical quality is, by the way, THE reason why i believe atw10, or at least the version of it that made it to red tv, is a post-2020 invention. the difference in lyrical style between the og sections and the new verses is so stark it'd almost be comical if it wasn't such a miserable downgrade of an already perfect song lol)
so basically my extremely simplified TL;DR in a format that actually matches your question: More Of good lyrics, Less Of bad ones 😁

hello! re: music asks, do you have any songs you really like but wouldn't generally recommend to people (for any reason)?
I think this is evident on why I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Fuck man, it's such a good song. The lyrics are so good, the fuckin relatability ("everything I'm not made me everything i am" is such a good lyric) and especially the flow.
Okay, fair enough, the streets is flarin' up 'Cause they want gun talk, or I don't wear enough Baggy clothes, Reeboks, or A-di-dos
COME ON?? YOU SEE THIS SHIT? Unfortunately it is Kanye West so this'll be a song I enjoy in private. I guess besides now.
Everybody sayin' what's not for him But everything I'm not made me everything I am (Here we go) Damn Here we go again People talkin' shit, but when the shit hit the fan Everything I'm not made me everything I am
Okay so this. Fucking this. this gets personal so whatever. Everything you're not- everything you get criticized for, your flaws, make up who you are the most. I'm not white. I'm not alloromantic. I'm not from white suburbia. I grew up in poverty. I don't have two parents- i don't even have one. These parts of me define me the most- what I don't have and what I'll never have. I've never had a normal life, I've spent my life around violence and I lived in an incredibly dangerous city for a good while that completely changed how I view the world- I've never had normality and stability.
What you are is defined by what you don't have and what you're not and that's just beautiful to me. Unfortunately it's Kanye West.
If you want you can listen to it it's geniunely beautiful but I have it downloaded so I don't add to Kanye's listens personally...

I’m glad you made a post talking about how it’s okay for non poc to reblog those posts & stories. I’m a white cis woman and I always hesitate to do that because I know it’s not meant for me.
A creator here blocked me because I liked one of their fics & their content “wasn’t for me to like.” I’ve also been told that I shouldn’t listen to the song “Black Barbie” because it’s not meant for me.
This absolutely is not a “woe is me” thing, I just always have a hard time with interacting with poc or the lgbtq+ communities because I’ve seen so many of them talk about how much they hate when white people try to interact with their content (which is fair, I guess?).
I really struggle to navigate what I’m allowed to do and what I’m not. I’m a little older so I try to be sensitive and attentive to how other people feel about people like me, it just gets a little discouraging to get blocked & told to fuck off because I’m white. I can’t really be mad about it, obviously.
Hi! So again, I in no way claim to be an expert on all things black/poc or marginalized, we don't all share the same boundaries and what not, so a good rule of thumb would be to check out the blog for a 'Do not interact' list that states explicitly ‘x’ ppl don't engage. (More thoughts below the cut but that's the main take away to this ask.)
If you do all that and still get blocked that's kinda a meh oh well situation because at least you did your due diligence. Personally I 10000% curate my irl spaces to not center white people or non queer, non fat people as much as I can, because it is exhausting being considerate of others who don't understand the core of how I have to navigate my life. I'm a little more lax online because I do really like engaging with everyone and unfortunately theres very few poc people in this fandom in general. But it's why you'll never see me say the N-word on here or make posts that I really would only feel comfortable with black people engaging with because I know I have a mixed following.
For the music thing for me personally I'm not the most comfortable when non black people interact with really, really culturally specific rap music without knowing their anti-racist views first. because there's a history of tokenizing, colonizing and meme-fying black music and our artists. If you can enjoy the song with efforts to be respectful I personally don't give a fuck, ask the next black person and they say something different so its case by case.
When LGBTQ+ people and POC people say they don't want white/straight people to interact its probably because the internet is the one space they don't have to curate or mask their person-hood. So, you should absolutely respect that and kanye shrug if you ever see a request for white/straight people to DNI with fics. I know you said this isn't a woe is me thing but I'm a little concerned about you having a hard time interacting with the LGBT/POC communities bit. Could you possibly explain further?
Because in my experience where one marginalized person does not want to engage with a privileged party, there's like ten more marginalized people who are open to conversations or friendship with someone outside of their experience. So you absolutely should not be deterred from engaging with LGBT/POC people or anyone not like you and their works.
It's fine that it hurts your feelings but I'm telling you now, with more kindness than another person may be able to afford, your hurt feelings about being blocked is minuscule when you're able to exist in spaces that disregard us/are violent towards us in and off the internet. Just do what you can to research and unpack what you can, that's all you can do!

The whole thing is so gross, but what I always come back to is like.........how did anyone ever think even the very first thing Kanye did -- asking if the lyric was okay -- wasn't disgusting? It's the most "is it okay if i hit you????" bs. I have never been able to bring myself to listen to the recording more than once b/c the strain is so obvious in her voice -- the "if I don't say yes I'm a bitch oh god I guess I have no choice" going through her head. A position SO MANY women have been in before, and is SO COMMON and SO DISGUSTING. Being asked something unconscionable, but you know if you say no you'll be punished, but you know underneath that how wildly unfair it is that the question is even being asked. But you can't do anything about that, because it's so fucking normal. It's such an insane no-win scenario and it's so insane how normal it is. It doesn't matter if she says okay, WHY DID YOU ASK IN THE FIRST PLACE? Why is it fucking normal for men to write lyrics like that about real fucking women in the first place? IT SHOULDN'T BE A POSSIBILITY IN THE FIRST PLACE. To say nothing of everything else he and Kim did afterwards. And the fact that yeah, it was inescapable. I wasn't even an online Swiftie then, and it touched me -- people talked it irl everywhere.
If she wanted to write an entire fucking album about it it wouldn't be "too much." Fuck, I hope Kim and Kanye are hounded by this until they die. I hope they never stop getting mean comments and questions about it. I genuinely consider it one of the most disgusting public episodes of misogyny of the past decade, up there with the Heard trial, the 2016 US election, and everything people put Megan Thee Stallion through after the shooting. I don't think it's a coincidence it (and those other events) came right after an uptick in feminism and women gaining power and presence in multiple fields -- it felt like punishment. It felt like a big fat fucking lesson meant to teach women and girls to shut up. Which is, frankly, still at the heart of nearly every stupid backlash she suffers. No, she's not perfect, but she's a woman who's become powerful because she's spent years creating art entirely about women's interior lives, appealing directly to women through everything from her lyrics to her videos without any real interest in earning male fans or interest, and started explicitly considering herself and her work in a feminist context after a man tried to destroy her. Now girls and women fill stadiums and then the hills behind them because they love her for this. And lots of people are desperate to punish her for it. But fuck them. She's made sure she'll never be erased and I thank god I've lived to see it. (Omg that turned into a stump speech. THAT'S HOW MAD I STILL AM ABOUT 2016)
god GO OFF. i'll forever be mad about 2016 and i was just watching the whole thing go down so i can only imagine how taylor felt. i agree that she could write an album about it, hell every single song she writes from now on could be about that and it still wouldn't be overreacting. such a gross display of misogyny that most people applauded, like this is what you get when you stand up to a powerful man. and now that you can't possibly look at it without admitting it was misogynistic, the solution is to say she's dramatic and that it wasn't that bad. i even saw an article once talking about how manipulative taylor is for writing songs putting herself as the victim in that situation and making her fans spend money on it. as if writing about their experiences isn't something every singer/songwriter does, and as if we don't interact with and buy her music because we LIKE it. the mental gymnastics to make her into this evil witch who's manipulating everyone are truly impressive.
and you're so right about the phone call too!! like why are we focusing on whether or not she agreed with the lyrics and not asking ourselves why is it okay for a man to ask something like that in the first place. why did people instantly take kanye and kim's word for it, judging by a phone call that wasn't even released in full, instead of trying to analyze the whole situation? and why are we, including a lot of feminists, STILL acting like taylor swift is the only woman in the world immune to misogyny
the fact that taylor's music is clearly for women and doesn't cater much to men is definitely why i felt drawn to her from the beginning, and definitely why people can't stand it that she's so successful. but oh well, she's out there selling out stadium concerts all over the world and living her best life like she should
#anon#trying so hard not to make this response a million words long but like#it's interesting that you bring up depp vs heard as well cause i was thinking of something similar#obviously they're extremely different situations and what amber went through was much more horrific#but the way it blew up in social media vs when people started realizing depp was actually an abuser#where were the memes with his face? where were the people en masse calling him names and harassing him?#they just let it quietly die down after making amber's life even more of a living hell#society fucking hates women and that's unfortunately the truth

KIN LIST?????????????????????????????????????
AHHHHHH SON!!! THANK YOU FOR THE ASK!! 😩❤️ I’LL GIVE YOU EVERY TYPE OF RAMEN DISH THAT YOU WANT. Also, KIN LIST??? MINE??? 😳
Hmmm… Well, I do have a few in mind, so here’s my Kin List:
Mary Kim: I resonate w/ her HEAVILY because her attitude, her behavior, and even the way she interacts with people (esp with Vin Jin) is literally me irl. If I’m close to ANYONE (guy/girl) irl, I’d usually be the type to tease a lot and be the “big sister” in the friend group who usually supports. And I’d be the type to throw hands if necessary, but would never initiate for no reason. Also, her FASION SENSE TOO??? I KIN. DEF KIN. Omg you guys have no idea how similar I dress like her sometimes. It’s insane. 😭
Zack Lee: I feel like his humor and mine, are similar. I just… have a feeing. Imagine, Zack reacting to a bunch of memes (probably dank, dark, and offensive memes) on his phone and he pulls out some Vine references out of nowhere. And I STG, our taste in music would be similar. Zack would definitely listen to rap music like Kanye, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, etc. Even the way he dresses (usually in streetwear) is one of the clothing styles I mainly go with whenever I dress up to go outside.
Johan Seong: Typically, the way he dresses is my MAIN go-to. Mostly, BLACK CLOTHING. Like bro… Majority of my clothes consists of 95% black clothes and 5% any other color. I’m not kidding. Plus, I can imagine me and Johan just chilling and walking out in the street, and some old ladies would ask us if someone died because we’re both wearing black clothing, which is just… our usual outfit. 🧍🏽♀️ Also, the way he deals with people who piss him off or is annoyed by them like he doesn’t give a fuck, is such a big personality trait that I kin with. When he doesn’t like someone, then he’d REALLY show that he doesn’t like them. Same goes for me irl too. I like how he doesn’t fake his attitude towards people as well, and he’d come for them like no one’s going to stop him. I fuck with that. 🤝🏽🖤
Lua Im: Lua got a bit of fight in her too, but I like how she isn’t really the type of person to fight in the first place. Similar to Mary’s explanation, she wouldn’t resort to fighting unless she has a good reason to. I also like her personality, and how she involuntarily handles things funny and does some “dorky” things when stressed (because honestly, me too girl). I’d panic and I’d say or do the dumbest shit ever and I’d just embarrass myself even more to the point that I want to die. 💀 In addition to how I kin with Lua through her actions and personality, I really mess with her sense of fashion too. Yeah, I know she rocking the Stüssy top and that one simple style with the hoodie and the jacket over it, because I’d wear those irl. Not joking. She’d def vibe w/ streetwear too, as if she’s the female version of Zack Lee.
Vasco/Euntae Lee: Vasco’s cheerful goofiness from the older chapters is something that I can relate to. Especially when I’m out with friends, I usually act like a fool whenever I’m with them. And tbh, before I even started to simp for Gun, Vasco was my comfort character LMAO. Because he was such a cute Cinnamon Roll back then, and now? What happened…? 😭 I even see Vasco as the “fun older brother” too. Man, if he was my older brother, I’d def want to ask if I can hang out with the Burn Knuckles Crew until it’s time to go home because they’re all so fun and lively!!
Daniel Park: Even though Daniel is attractive (even in those recent chapters 👀) I view him to be the “brotherly type” who'd protect anyone. That’s the type of vibe I get from Daniel. (To be honest, between Daniel and Vasco, I think they'd be the best "big brothers" ever.) Or, just a male/guy best-friend who you can always depend on and talk to whenever you want to rant/vent about something. I kin with him because I always have the urge to help out people who are having a hard time, and I usually offer to listen to friends’ issues irl because I’m aware that we all need someone to talk. If no one’s there for them, then I don’t mind being someone’s shoulder to lean on. In addition to his kind-heartedness, I relate to Daniel because of the whole “bullying” thing. Back then when I was in elementary school, there was a girl that used to bully me by poking me, flicking me, etc. And she’d even turn people against me so I wouldn’t be able to hang out with certain people (but eventually I became friends with her and we settled our differences ig). I even asked her what was the reason why she bullied me back then and she said it was because of the way that I used to look and the clothes that I wore, which made me look “dorky”. 😀 Sooooo, that’s why I kin with Daniel strongly too LMFAAAOOOO 😌✨
#THANKS AGAIN SON FOR THE ASK! 💖#sleepyissleepy 😴#lookism#lookismaddict#lookismaddictq&a#lookism webtoon#lookism manhwa#daniel park#zack lee#lookism vasco#johan seong#lua im#mary kim

IM A LITTLE LATE BUT. STEDDIE SWIFTIES!?!?? IM IN
debut, steve adores taylor country era. he plays that album a lot while driving and even imitate (or… try to) the country accent. his favorites are should’ve said no and our song. eddie… well it’s not much his taste but! he enjoys picture to burn (you know, the homophobic version)
fearless, steve’s kinda a fearless girly, not his favorite album but has a special place in his heart. him and eddie absolutely SCREAM you belong with me. eddie really likes the melodies and lyrics but still not what he prefers.
speak now, I DONT WHY but something tells me eddie really really likes speak now. the whole magic and dragons and long live (one of his absolute favorites songs ever) along with haunted and better than revenge. steve just cries a lot while listening to dear john and back to december.
red, steve harrington + this album = a really happy steve with fuzzy socks and a big cup of coffee. top 1. he adores it, brings him some comfort like autumn and pumpkins and hot chocolate. i sense this is the album eddie started listening to taylor with. of course, one christmas eddie gifted steve a red scarf with a red cd and of course, steve cried.
1989 is eddies guilty pleasure, and he totally knows how to do that style intro in his guitar. a little too much pop and his friends would make fun of him for listening to it, but the doesn’t care. taylor swift invented pop for him. steve is out of the woods and new romantics coded.
reputation, EDDIE’S FAVORITE ALBUM OF COURSEE. he spends a lot of time listening to it and could speak for hours about it, about how it’s not about seeking revenge but about fighting against that reputation and try to find yourself without listening to what others have to say about it. and how you, sometimes, find yourself in others too. i feel like if they went to the eras tour, eddie would absolutely go as reputation, yk something with snakes and black and glitter. steve loves to hear him go, proud of the swiftie he made. and he (kinda) hates kanye so…
lover, slow songs and heart crushing lyrics. this is steve’s shit. HE IS THE ARCHER CODED. adores cornelia street and afterglow. eddie (secretly) listens to lover a lot, but don’t say that to anyone ok? he has a reputation to keep.
folklore THIS IS HARDCORE SHIT. and steve’s favorite of course, he just relates to this album a lot. eddie really likes my tears ricochet and this is me trying ☹️ poor baby.
evermore, more hardcore shit. steve and eddie listened together this album for the first time and went???? what the actual fuck taylor swift who gave the right to??? while crying. tolerate it and ivy just hits different.
midnights, more pop and that means more eddie munson love. vigilante shit and karma stan forever. this albums feels personal to steve, maroon, you’re on your own kid, question, labyrinth HE CAN GO ON AND ON.
NOW I BELIEVE
Steve’s top 3:
red - folklore - midnights
Eddie’s top 3:
reputation - speak now - 1989
HELLO
EDDIE AND STEVE SCREAMING YOU BELONG WITH ME???? YES. ABSOLUTELY YES
Eddie would fucking love better than revenge and Steve crying to back to December? so true.
Eddie loving Style and playing it? helloooooo?? yes yes yes
AND OFC REPUTATION IS EDDIES FAVE! YES YES YES ALSO YES TO HIS ERAS TOUR OUTFIT (YES TO ANYTHING YOU SAY AT THIS POINT)
Steve being the archer coded please @taintedcigs we got Steve on our team
you're saying my tears ricochet and this is me trying being Eddie's faves? stop these are my absolute faves too (my tears ricochet is my #1)
Eddie and Steve would cry to tolerate it, totally yes yes. AND to champagne problems too of course!
I AGREE WITH ANYTHING YOU SAY ANON YOU'RE A WISE ONE

13. Tupac – All Eyez on Me
Tupac Shakur wasn’t a man of extremes, he was a man of just one extreme — all in. And with All Eyez on Me, one of our most maximalist artists turned in his crowning classic. The 27-track, two-disc extravaganza came together in a blizzard of flows and probably chemicals, too, after Suge Knight and Jimmy Iovine paid $1.4 million in bail to spring Shakur from the pen after charges of sexual misconduct. Shakur might not have been a great man, but he was a great artist, and prison gave his art two gifts: bottomless months in which to think, and a fire under his ass now that he knew how quickly his career could go away. All that philosophy and urgency joined together for one of the most ambitious works in music history. — W. GravesAdvertisement12. N.W.A. – Straight Outta Compton
N.W.A’s first album, Straight Outta Compton, was a raw, explicit, instant classic. With producers Dr. Dre and DJ Yella alongside Eazy-E, Ice Cube, The D.O.C., and MC Ren on the mic, the group presented uncensored, politically-charged lyrics as a response to racism, violence, and police brutality. “Fuck tha Police” became a sensation by capturing a nation’s frustrations, while tracks like “Gangsta Gangsta” anticipated generations of violent raps. But N.W.A. is so much more than their headlines, incorporating elements of funk and dance music throughout the album on “Something Like That,” “Express Yourself,” and “Something 2 Dance 2.” With taboo-shattering highs and a deep roster of grooves, Straight Outta Compton rings as clear as ever. — S. Noor 11. Nas – Illmatic
How many writers over the last three decades spilled ink over Illmatic? This is hip-hop’s Mona Lisa — not to be confused with Slick Rick’s “Mona Lisa” — or Sistine Chapel ceiling. Nas’ debut entered the discourse in April 1994 and set up a permanent residence. It remains the measuring stick for solo debuts, and (sometimes unfortunately) looms like a shadow over everything Nas does. How does anyone live with a burden bigger than the Empire State Building sitting on their shoulders? Only the man formerly known as Nasty Nas knows that answer, but he and an all-star producer lineup did something few thought possible at the time by leapfrogging beyond what anyone expected from the kid who took rap by the jugular with one verse in ’91. Illmaticstill captures the imagination because it’s not only perfection, but hype realized. — M. Shorter 10. Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Recent years have revealed just how true to life the title of this album is, but Ye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasywas one of the great stylistic leaps in hip-hop music. The rapper and controversial figure is more than familiar with transformation, both in private and in practice, so a progression throughout his discography was only to be expected. Though his raps have often unfolded deeper meaning the more you listen, this album exposed a different side to Ye’s production. He toyed with more downtempo beats and perhaps some self-reflection, granted the choice words of “Monster” and “Runaway,” but he also took on boisterous soundscapes on the packed house of “All of the Lights.” He commanded that track despite it featuring Rihanna, John Legend, Elton John, Alicia Keys, and more, which says enough about his highs as an artist, even if his choices outside his art are lower than low. — C. Pope 09. Dr. Dre – 2001
The ‘90s were just about soundtracked by Dr. Dre, with numerous artists and albums becoming emblematic of the sound of Southern California. Before the millennium, Dre had one hell of a comeback with 2001, breaking his seven-year streak of solo-effort silence. Also loosely known as The Chronic II, the album followed its predecessor in an unexpected way, expanding his signature G-funk sound and making the best use of some of the artists he helped put on with it. Eminem, Kurupt, and of course Snoop make appearances, made even slicker by Nate Dogg’s buttery harmonies.
Even though Dre’s usual shine occurred behind the mixing board rather than the mic, 2001 was a reminder that his versatility was not to be taken lightly. “Still D.R.E.” and “Forgot About Dre,” featuring Snoop and Eminem respectively, were literal declarations demanding the populace put some respect back on his name, because no matter how long he steps away from the spotlight, he’s still D.R.E. — C. PopeAdvertisement08. A Tribe Called Quest – The Low End Theory
From the first rumbles of that double bass, hip-hop would never be the same. With groovy and crisp jazz beats, The Low End Theory stands as a monument to the brilliance of hip-hop’s golden era. Between Phife Dawg’s captivating verses, Q-Tip’s mellifluous flow, and production from Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad that led to cleaner, more layered samples, the album is just as stylish today as it was upon its release. The Low End Theory is an introspective whirlwind, touching on themes of identity, social consciousness, and personal struggles. It speaks to the Black experience while transcending cultural boundaries, resonating with listeners across the globe. By blending sharp storytelling with infectious grooves, the album’s impact was felt not just in hip-hop, but in all of music. — W. Graves 07. JAY-Z – Reasonable Doubt
JAY-Z often said he’s not a rapper, but rather a hustler who knows how to rap. Well, Reasonable Doubt says otherwise. His performance, layered with metaphors, similes, couplets, double entendres, and more poetic devices than most rappers pack in their entire career, only comes from someone knee-deep in the art of rapping. The debut effort details the life of someone getting out of one hustle — the street life — and into another, but not without explaining why he’s saying goodbye. Those who called Jay “shallow” during his early years seemingly let this entire album fly over their heads as he bears his soul on “D’Evils,” “Regrets,” “Politics as Usual,” and “Can’t Knock the Hustle.”
Or maybe they found themselves so enraptured with the wordplay and imagery that they ignored his anguish over the few career opportunities for young Black men, the guilt over betraying a friend, or the stress that made him “sleep with one eye open like CBS.” Most fans and critics slept on Reasonable Doubt in 1996, but that says less about Jay’s first album and more about the amazing work produced that year and during the ‘90s era as a whole. As it stands, this is Jay’s most complete and uncompromised body of work, and Exhibit A for his Hall of Fame stature. — M. Shorter 06. Outkast – Stankonia
The Dirty South is defined by its murky in-your-face sound, able to walk the very fine line between all-out banger and overly-processed crap with eased precision. OutKast’s approach took it to a whole new level, staying true to the dirty sound and elevated by their own individual flavors. André 3000 and Big Boi themselves have different takes on production in a unique yet complementary fashion, which comes through in how each of their sonic signatures are dispersed throughout the tracks.
Take the album’s lead single, “B.O.B,” at face value, for its berserk BPM (sitting at a very high 155), catchy hook, and André’s hyperspeed flow. It became popular during the Iraq War for its obvious commentary, but the other tracks on Stankonia ended up making just as much noise. “Ms. Jackson” and “So Fresh, So Clean” became the two songs to really grow Outkast’s fandom on top of possessing some of the catchiest hooks in hip-hop history. — C. PopeAdvertisement05. Wu-Tang Clan – Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
The fact that Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) remains just as impressive 30 years later is a testament to the Wu-Tang Clan’s power. That it even works to begin with is an absolute miracle. RZA, the Clan’s de facto leader and producer, put together a group who, on paper, don’t all fit together. Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and U-God provide street tales. GZA and Inspectah Deck put the audience through lyrical exercises worthy of several muscle cramps. Method Man does a little bit of everything, but adds a sense of humor and wit, while Ol’ Dirty Bastard… well, there’s a reason why his nickname was Ason Unique.
Like the beats RZA constructed for this album, Wu-Tang is a collective of disparate parts that, when put together correctly, creates beautiful music that becomes mythological. 36 Chambersdoesn’t hold anyone’s hand; it drops them in the middle of a universe with its own rules and slang, while providing a shining moment for each member. The album set the stage for Wu’s dominant four-year run and provided the blueprint for every group that dared follow. And no one who came after them made it work as well the Wu-Tang Clan did on this masterpiece. — M. Shorter 04. Missy Elliot – Supa Dupa Fly
Kicked back in a monogrammed baseball jersey and white-on-white Nike Uptowns, Missy Elliott used the album cover of her debut Supa Dupa Fly to do more than just show her face — she presented its contents in a straightforward way. As the first look at Missy’s Afrofuturisc vision of rap reality, the 1997 release sparked a different turn for female rappers at the time. Unlike what Foxy Brown and Lil Kim (who pops up on “Hit Em wit da Hee”) had done with their albums a year prior, Missy chose not to approach sensuality the same way, instead trading sexualized aesthetics for creatively crafted lyrics that were alluring in their own way. She was certainly ahead of her time, especially when paired with Timbaland’s blend of all sorts of styles. The two were made to work together, with “I Can’t Stand the Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” enduring as an all-time banger. — C. PopeAdvertisement03. Public Enemy – It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
In the early ’80s, punk legends The Clash were billed as “The Only Band That Matters.” Later that decade, that title could have easily gone to Public Enemy. While they certainly made a mark with their 1987 debut, Yo! Bum Rush the Show, P.E. revolutionized hip-hop with their 1988 sophomore LP, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.
With a genius use of samples and stellar production by The Bomb Squad (led by Hank Shocklee), the album featured the masterful emcee Chuck D delivering thought-provoking, sociopolitical commentary with power and conviction, as Flavor Flav established himself as rap music’s greatest hype man. Songs like “Bring the Noise,” “Don’t Believe the Hype,” and “Rebel Without a Pause” stand among hip-hop’s most essential tracks, with a far-reaching influence extending to the likes of Anthrax and Rage Against the Machine. Believe the hype: It Takes a Nation of Millions is one of music’s greatest treasures. — Spencer Kaufman 02. Lauryn Hill – The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
During her time with Fugees, it was apparent Lauryn Hill’s prodigious talent for rapping and singing meant she was destined to break out on her own. When the group went their separate ways following the massive success of The Score, Hill was able to do just that. In addition to a fractured relationship with Wyclef Jean, she found even more personal inspiration for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in becoming pregnant with her first child, whom she shared with Bob Marley’s son Rohan Marley.
Primarily recorded at Marley’s Tuff Gong Studios in Jamaica, Miseducation was hailed as a masterpiece immediately upon its release. “Doo Wop (That Thing),” her cautionary tale to young women, showcased Hill’s innate ability to rap and sing better than any of her contemporaries and made her the first female rapper to go No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Addressing heartbreak on songs like “Lost Ones” and dedicating others like “To Zion” to the unique love only a mother has for their child, Hill also dropped gems for the youth in inner cities on “Everything Is Everything.” She proved that R&B could be a part of hip-hop when in the right hands, setting the stage for future superstars like Drake. Though Miseducation remains her only studio record, its legacy will remain as one of the greatest albums of all time — regardless of genre. — E. Fu 01. Kendrick Lamar – To Pimp a Butterfly
Kendrick Lamar quickly cemented himself as one of the most important voices of his generation, with his third studio album To Pimp a Butterflyholding the defining Black protest song of recent years: “Alright.” Coming out just before the start of Trump’s chaotic candidacy, it holds both the power to bring about praise for the good that’s happening in Black life and lamentation for the systems that fail it every day. Amid demonstrations demanding answers about Sandra Bland, Philando Castile, and various other police killings, “Alright” was one of the saving graces that got us through rough times — but that’s not to discredit the power of the rest of the album as well.
As soon as the whispers build on the Boris Gardner “Every N***** Is a Star” sample on “Wesley’s Theory,” you’re greeted by contrition regarding success, capitalism, and inner and outer identity, subject matter that is oftentimes belied by a tracks’ upbeat nature. There are other examples of this on the record, like the ever-changing peaks and valleys of “King Kunta” or the contradiction explored on “The Blacker the Berry.” Every generation is entitled to their own greatest hip-hop album, and this is ours. — C. PopeAdvertisement

music asks:
O
Q
R
S
heyeyyyyyy scarletttt!!
O- Name four bands/solo artists you wish would stop playing music
addison rae. i don't know her music status as of rn but JESUS FUCK. PICK A FIELD AND GET GOOD AT IT. DON'T BE A TIK TOK GIRL, BE IN ONE HALF ASSED MOVIE, MAKE ONE SHIT SONG, AND THEN LEAVE. COMMIT!!! also obsessed made me want to tear my eyes out /neg <3
kanye west. i'm sorry i just. this one feels like it should be self explanatory, and i kinda feel about him the same way as i feel about jkr. like, you've told us about your political beliefs, good job, thats one reason to hate you, but i never liked your content anyway, bubyyeyeyeye.
doja cat. i actually haven't listened to any of her music, but i think she should stop releasing 'music' and her next album should just be cat sounds like she did all night at the met. why? because it would be really, really, really funny.
harry styles. im sorry i cant. i just. i hate this man so much. i dont know what it fucking is. but i cant. stand. him.
Q- Name one band/solo artist that you think is VERY underrated
i feel like the ones i think are underrated are kind of mainstream or talked about a lot, like verified artists on spotify or whatnot, so i don't think any of my favs can count as underrated.
buuut im going to say girl in red (even though they're talked about all the time) i think girl in red is kind of written of as like 'hahah lezzbiennss,' and yeah there's a lot of wlw kind of themed (??) songs, but there's also some that are really introspective and stuff (like serotonin)
so not underrated, but kind of... pideonholed wrong? maybe? like how mcr is like 'haha emos' but anyone that's into mcr will tell you. no. not hahah emos haha black parade.
R- Name one band/solo artist that you think is VERY overrated
.
okay this one's going to put me in hot water in the byler tag especially buuuut
taylor swift.
i just... don't see the appeal? like she has a handful of really really really good songs, idk, seven, invisible string, cruel summer maybe, and i do think midnights is a good album. but like. it's good. her music has never made me like feel. deeply feel. i don't see why she had such a cultural impact, like her music is so middle tier to me.
ps. i saw a girl in my legal studies class playing taylor swift 2048 the other day sooo that is what i mean by overrated. i think her music is playable, but i like her in the way that i'll put one song on one playlist and call it a day.
pps. no hate at all to people who love taylor swift, she's their favourite ever, etc etc. this is not a criticism of people liking 'basic' things or whatever, whenever i see people specifically hating on taylor swift fans i get so fed up, just let people like what they fucking like. i personally just don't get what's so special about her music. there's a reason i put her in here and not in 'please stop making music'
S- Favorite music “fest” (Warped, Mayhem, Bamboozle, Lolapalooza, etc)
uh. idk. i've never been to one? i feel like i can't really say the difference or anything. sorry, thats such a bs answer but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

hi i really love your writing btw but i just wanted to ask bc i saw your post abt rina's comments on matty healy — i was wondering if u could expand on your thoughts on separating the art from the artist or anything like that.
Hellooooo thank u!!!! anon is referring to this post btw.
This is a tough convo 😬😬😬 and I’m honestly still working through what separating art from the artist means to me! But here’s sort of what I think.
I have always refused to watch Woody Allen movies or support Chris Brown’s music. And would 100% stop respecting anyone who preaches anti-vaxx or anti-choice bullshit. I’d never listen to Kanye West on purpose either. I think these dangerous narratives pushed out by ppl whose moral compass are clearly different than mine just totally water down the art they make. Kanye being a fucking weirdo antisemite automatically discredits any good music he makes, to me.
But I’ve also never been connected to any of it. I don’t care for his music, or Chris Brown’s, and I can live without Woody Allen movies. So it’s easy for me to boycott it all. With The 1975’s music—it shaped my teen years. It makes important statements, it breaks boundaries, I feel it so much more deeply than other music makes me feel. So as embarrassing or hypocritical it may be, it would probably take a lot for me to stop listening to it and supporting the band🥲
Matty’s issue is that he thinks ‘teenage boy peepee poopoo make me a sandwich humor’ is funny. Which is really immature and can be damaging to project. But then he turns around and says profound and very intelligent shit about important issues and builds this super leftist radical progressive political stance…… so what the fuck dude! Pick a fucking side! This is why I’m still here…. holding out hope that if he really cares about these issues then he’ll speak out.
Idk I’m rambling at this point but bottom line we just have to stop putting these celebs on pedestals. Call them out when they do fucked up shit, and don’t kiss their asses trying to defending them in the name of being a stan. And also remember that we don’t fucking know them….. like what do u mean ‘you know he’s a good guy and that he’d never say anything misogynistic’ ????? HOW do u know????😭😭😭
I am also reading the book “Monsters: A Fan’s Dilemma” by Claire Dederer. It dives super deep into this conversation and I think reading it will help me understand my stance better—just haven’t finished it yet! If you’re passionate about it I’d suggest checking it out :))))

I think I should send this as a 1975 fan and Matty fan lol just to give some more perspective lol and I’m a POC who’s been following both him and Taylor for a long time.
Because I’ve been his fan for years since their first album and the thing is he’s always bordered on that VERGE of getting cancelled but I believe to say that Taylor and Matty are on two opposite side of the spectrum is wrong because that would imply that Taylor is left and Matty is right and that’s far from the truth.
The podcast thing is just about the WORST thing he could have done, ever. And I’m talking about when it was released the 1975twt was going crazy and people were SERIOUS about boycotting him and stopping to listening to his music and these are the people who KNEW that the podcast guys are satire and that they say things like that just to provoke people and if you listen to the podcast or just see transcripts to protect your peace you’ll see that they were the ones who were initiating this whole thing and then they would expect him to agree with them so he did. It’s bad. I’m not defending him. It was fucked up and he never should have done it. I would recommend seeing his apology video from their concert in Sydney that he thought it would be just like other times and that only people he knows would listen to the podcast but that’s obviously not true and he knew that he went too far which is also why he had the podcast taken down (the hosts were not happy about it they do this literally every single time and they were reluctant but eventually did). The Kanye thing has never been about the n*zi or Anti-Semitism either it was a tweet that Trump made about him and the salute thing on stage was about Kanye and his anti semitic rant he went on on Twitter and it was Matty calling him a N*zi but doing the salute with left hand (it was originally done with Right hand).
If you see him going on recent concerts you’ll see that he took the social media off and said to people that he will try to be less of an asshole than before and I really hope he works on that because while his intentions are always good and he always uses satire to get his messages across I completely understand why people who don’t know him or are not aware with his antics might not see them that way and get hurt!
Again, this is not me calling you out or anyone I just thought that I would give an outside perspective in this so you know what’s been going on with the 1975 because he’s been very vocal about his activism in the past and technically he’s more of an activist than Taylor herself and it goes beyond performative activism for him for how I have seen him over the years. These are definitely important discussions to be had and it’s great to see all the facts out there!💕
thanks for the perspective anon!
i wouldn't say that taylor and matty are on opposite sides of the spectrum exactly (because again, i'm not too familiar with them) but it's more so about taylor's "feminism" vs what matty has said/done in the past that don't add up to me.
i can't speak to much of this really, as i've never been a fan of the 1975/matty healy, but from what i've heard, it... doesn't sound good. like. it sounds kinda bad. i saw clips of the podcast a few days ago and i understand that he was just joking around, but jokes like that are... not funny. i'm glad to hear that he's taking accountability for what he said and not ignoring it entirely, but it left an icky taste in my mouth

drinking from a poisoned well (from my tinyletter)
I wonder if I will ever stop trying to find myself in the culture I consume. I also wonder if the culture I consume is as much of a mirror as I think it is - does it have anything to do with me? Does it reflect me? And by reflect I mean does it tell you something about who I am, what matters to me, what I stand for?
Kanye West recently released his album Donda. As a reformed Kanye West fan, I’ve tried to find the words to describe the dull yet pulsing ache I feel when I think about his music and the impact that he has had on my life, whether I like it or not. I’ve issued a blanket mute to anyone I see posting that they are listening to his album...an album which I don’t need to listen to to know that it isn’t good. But more than the quality of the music itself, I don’t need to listen to the album because I don’t need to support his public alignment with accused and convicted rapists and sexual deviants, homophobes, anti-Semites, and misogynists. I have several problematic faves, but I don’t have 1 hour and 48 minutes to find out if anything on Donda is worth seeing past the list of collaborators, and the glaring lack of women in an album dedicated to his late mother. I don’t know the answer, I don't want to know, and I don't want to care.
Maybe that is the name for that dull, pulsing ache. Care. But not in the sense of, I care for you. In the sense of somehow this affects me with clear undertones of I wish it didn’t. Like seeing an embarrassing photo of yourself from years ago. Or like this week, I got a request from someone who asked about Fly Art prints. Toni and I have only spoken publicly (lol) about the slow death of Fly Art once and it is as simple as the two of us not being interested in the project anymore and also as complex as my (I can’t speak for Toni) relationship to the music and artists that I love and follow.
I have loved rap music for a finite amount of time. I think it came about as a result of having dabbled in dance, and also my appreciation for a good fucking beat. I admired the brashness with which a rapper could admit their (though it was often his) faults while also boasting of their success. As a very self-conscious yet vaguely confident (in the right context!) person, I saw myself reflected in the tricky balance between humility and the skill of embodying my own self. I promise! I am! So self-conscious. Rap, and by extension hip-hop fed my soul. When I first moved to Sydney, I attended a Yeezus show in total nosebleed seats. Kanye played the intro to Runaway twice after asking who in the audience was hearing it live for the first time. It was one of the best concerts I had ever been to. I still chase this same feeling: the distance from the stage bridged through shared, mutual adoration.
I leaned on Fly Art as part of my personality until the proverbial reed broke. I thought it made me cool and influential. I loved the attention so much. And it was fucking fun! Until we tried to make money off of it (We succeeded though) and it became a job. It was no longer fun, more than a cool hobby that made me feel cool and popular. And I just stopped listening to hip-hop. My taste in music changed, and it seemed that every rapper I admired was on a mission to remind me they were straight cishet men doing straight cishet men things, including:
Denying the existence of slavery, supporting one of the actual worst presidents of the United States, which is saying something considering they’re all fucking hacks (Kanye West)
Appearing to have groomed young women...and giving R FUCKING KELLY A WRITING CREDIT IN 2021 (Drake)
Threatening to boycott Spotify if they didn’t return the music of someone who abused their partner (Kendrick Lamar for xxxtentacion, weird tbh)
Fighting with women who were trying to encourage the general public to read??? (J. Cole, in an odd bid against literacy)
Featuring Chris Brown (unfortunately too many to name)
In summary, just a lot of stuff that left a bad taste in my mouth and left me questioning what I had signed up for. What my support meant. Worse, what did my profiting off of the work of black artists say about me across the ugly ugly backdrop of gender-based violence, systemic racism and police brutality? The slow death of Fly Art was really just the same story over and over again: people change and they indeed realise things. They do not condone misogyny and misinformation, which I strive to do. I also cannot stand albums longer than 16 tracks. Who even has the time?
That isn’t to say I don’t listen to any rap or hip-hop music at all. There is still a lot of it on rotation!!! But I can’t think of anything more exhausting than seeing Donda on my feed multiple times. I don’t have to listen to the album. I cannot believe how hard I stanned this man. Part of my disgust and anger is definitely directed towards me. There is an endless bowl of shame in there. I often call myself a “reformed Kanye West fan” because there is so much of his music that I love. And I resent him so deeply now because the more he continues to do *gestures vaguely* whatever this is, the more poisoned the well feels.
I understand that it is possible to like problematic people and to support artists or people in general who aren’t perfect. It is inevitable that everyone has fucked up at least once in their life. It feels like I’m reliving a cycle of disappointment that I feel for myself when I make a mistake or when I am unkind. Ha, maybe the point isn’t to find yourself in what’s out there, but to find it (speak to the manager) within. Maybe I just feel envious of people who are able to separate the art from the artist?
On the other hand, fuck that. There is a line. In a world that is rapidly taking away a woman’s right to her own body, where we are constantly in a deluge of violence of all sorts from men in power, I cannot believe that people I know are still listening to Kanye West! Openly!!!! Is any gesture of support worth the pain inflicted by the men I mentioned above? There will eventually be a time when I stop drinking from this bowl of shame, alienation and just straight up anger, but at the very least I know my answer. I want people to know that this shit doesn't sit right with me, because how else can we demand for something better? That’ll be enough. It has to be enough.

im the black cat when it come to writing stories
and these expository
stop them narratives
you got a shout from rory
that's funny not discouragin
i appreciate your courage
but you speaking about surface shit
god bless the child who has to learn shit the hardway
if u thought i would quit your in for some long days
i illicit these responses cause i spew truth like kanye
rough around the edges but never acting in a broadway
hoppin on a live speakin in such a broad sense
my heart been set since before your lil brother got hit
destiny's amusing my favorite type of entertainment
and at my GOAT arraignment we will laugh at your hatred
they dont like us
specially when you might just
mic up
& blasphemize their life till they lifeless
i'll keep it honest wit ya boy
i hate you fuckin oldheads
complaining bout the truth
though it was asked by muhammad
& i know it aint my fault
we can open the vault
go line for line
you'll get your legacy disolved
when the best of me's involved
the lesser me gets lost
that veteran minimum
just aint cutting it lil dawwww
you must be injury prone
cause the history shows
them epiphanies u had
aint changed shit at all
yall told us that this rap shit was established for the sellouts
now i echoed that statement and you wanna let a yellout ?
fuck that shit ima lay you to bed now
tuck you in nice with a pamper and some meds now
your 50 right?
how was that rectal examination?
i hope your health is amazing
but after this ass whooping
they gon have to double check ya anus
fix ya lips to diss me
yo bitch ass gon need dentures
i'll go ten for ten
you'll be the end of my adventure
the fans soul's famished
they miss when rappers were clever
you spit a fat joke
and now you falling flat forever
whats your opinion on that diddy shit?
rather hear that than these opinions bitch
put the game on me boy you know that i been killin shit
the weight on my shoulders makes me perform better bitch
call me what you want
but you cant call me a phony
thru all my worst days
i wouldn't ever look below me
to beef with anyone i dont feel is worthy
on an ig live or an ig story
the truth hurt dont it
the shoe fits dont it
i make ya mood switch
then leave you feeling broken
5 types of rappers
that we see in the game
a few worth the listens
some aint worth the plays
some tryna be lyrical
confusing syllables for message
others spit spiritual
miracles in their sentences
some sell their soul
then be rappin with a vengeance
rape the culture
then get supported by the veterans
music isnt owned
by the artist thats a fact
cant even get paid
more than a cent for your rap
but you screamin out cap
lemme spit more facts
the fact is you well respected at your craft
u respect the truth
and u appreciate the math
if they give you a percentage of a cent for a stream
that smells really similar to slavery to me
ill say this gently
since you misinterpreting heavily
if the shoe fits wear it
your medley speaks to the spirit
and you say the same thing
you gahdamn midget
what the fuck is music worth?
if we dont make no money?
that is the approach
of all these rappers who be dummies
if that shit was for you
i woulda left you a clue
you a black starr baby
i heard all your tunes
them shits inspiring
and i think the worlds spiraling
are you in a bind ?
is that why your viraling?
chasing clips consciously
i think its comedy
i'll destroy your whole colony
with my lyrical sodomy
im stomping on your playground
pushing the bullies to the ground
fuck your gatekeeping
this is my slide now
cause yall didnt back joey and he was badass
yall didnt back bishy even doom saw his talent
yall didnt back the zombies you treated em like trash bags
whole city of underachievers where the raps at?
pass the baton
or get stomped in front of your mom
and yes im spittin it calm
cause the truth in these psalms
it seem that beast coast flame
is really dying out
ice spice the hottest out
& everyline that leaves her mouth
is poop fart shit,
dont pout
their was also 6 9
and yall let that one rock
everybody on the block
was screaming the lyrics of a cop
you from a clown ass city
with rats big as birds
you can say that its gritty
its just dirty you heard
fix ya mouth to diss me
you gon end up with some dentures
on this lil adventure
ill probe you on whatever
fantastic souls famished
fishing for sumn clever
he spat a fat joke
then end up fallin flat forever
flat like the monitor
when somebody passes
the old game
was sold for the bettering of masses
anger seeping thru your pores
anytime you grab pen
tryna fix your head
to discuss everything i've said
the messenger may die
but the truth has been said
rather that then the lie's told
like rap hasn't been sold to its end
if you take the truth to heart
maybe its cause the shoe fits
but i'd never defend something
that i thought wasn't legit
rather bite my tongue
& keep the air in my lungs
then waste my time on lines of lie's
from someone white as a dove
i try to stay congruent
to the part of me that loves you
all the portions of my hate
have been healed by these tussle's
im not no russel simmons
but my meditation is in rhythm's
singing lavish hymms
about tryna change the system
polution of the mind
they want the tea like lipton
but i make the world tremble
with the truth when im spitting
anytime i utter words
their on the edge of their chairs

Has anyone else creamed to devil in a new dress by Kanye west?
Has anyone else creamed to “devil in a new dress” by Kanye west? So basically yesterday in math class it was boring asl so I slid jn some AirPods and shuffled my shit. Apple pie by Travis Scott came on. After that great song, the beautiful, majestic, heaven ascending sample of devil in a new dress started blasting through my headphones. I visually clenched my face and asscheeks, and resisted myself from stretching my arms out and ascending. So to cope with that, I started slowly stroking it, and in a matter of seconds, i felt a euphoric sensation on my pelvic area and brain, and let out an audible “hngh-“ the whole class was looking at me at this point, but the song was still playing. My cream starting blasting out through the fabrics of my jeans and all around the classroom, on the students, and even on the teacher. The teacher then yelled at me after some students started screaming. He said “WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? WAIT, are you listening to devil in a new dress by Kanye west?” I replied “yes”, and then he said “my god… I ALWAYS CREAM TO THAT SONG!” I then proceeded to take my headphones off and play the song on loud speaker, and some students who also loved devil in a new dress joined us in a circle jerk. Eventually, the whole class was covered in our collective white cream, and everybody evacuated. What an amazing experience, I love devil in a new dress.
