Just rewatched Bottoms as the first watch of 2024 and it's amazing how the second part of this film gives me a serotonin boost lol I get all energetic and stuff, I love this film so much. Also, I already talked about the bedroom scene here, but it's such a beautiful and genuine scene that it amazes me that it's part of an insane and unserious film like Bottoms, Ayo and Havana did it really well and of course Emma Seligman too, amazing really.

I watched Summer Wars and Digimon Adventure: Our War Game back to back today and now I want a million more animated movies set during summer where the main conflict ends with the evil computer thing sending a nuke to the main character's current location
#them just using actual real windows 7 in summer wars was so funny to me#also i loved kazuma he was gave unmatched emo boy realness like no one else also yumi she was the realest one tbh like yeah baseball woo!#i honestly think both these movies should just be stitched to one another i felt like i got a better experience watching them both together#the character acting in the digimon movie was great omg like every time kari picked up the phone or when izzy and tai turned around sogud#also the entire look of OZ in summer wars was right up my alley i love love love that stuff#watch those movies theyre very fun
