"Emmett-- I've been meaning to ask you a question. I know it's-- well it may seem a bit inappropriate. But you're a forward-thinking man from the future." Clara's heart was pounding in hear ears as she spoke. It was a speech she'd been practicing for weeks now. On her walks to the general store, her days grading papers-- this was going to be a big step but it felt so right.
"What I mean to say is. I think the two of us should-- if you'd like to, at least-- become husband and wife." With that, she brandished a small hand-carved box. Inside which was a ring she'd milled herself. She was no blacksmith like Emmett, but she'd been able to whittle down a bit of wood into a smooth, round ring. Her cheeks were stained a red color-- it had taken the schoolmarm quite a lot of gumption to work up the courage for such a question.
Despite slotting in much easier among the residents of the Hill Valley of 1885 than he ever had with his presentâfuture, from where he was currently strandedâpeers, there was that incessant nagging in the back of his head that sometimes took on Marty's voiceâDoc, we don't belong here!âand made him hesitant to truly forge lasting connections for fear of altering the timeline with no means of setting it right again.
But then, the months passed, space-time had not unravelled, and Clara had become a constant in his life. She had shared in his secrets, both in the workshop and out, listened to his talks and tales of the future eagerly, never reproached him his peculiarities, and Emmett had already done it once, said what the hell to the timelineâwhy shouldn't he do it again?
Saving her, as evidenced by something so innocuous as Clayton Ravine never being named as suchâthough Emmett had to admit seeing it named Eastwood Ravine in Marty's honour brought both a pang of loneliness and a touch of amusementâhad meant she, too, was out of time, and it was almost as if Fate had orchestrated this purposefully.
The days simply didn't feel right without Clara's companionship and to imagine life without her was akin to torture.
Emmett had so rarely ever entertained the notion of falling in love, let alone falling in love at first sight, dismissing it as romantic nonsense, the stuff of poetry and classic literature, until he'd saved Clara from a most unfortunate fate. In that moment, looking into her eyes, he had finally understood what they meant with all those descriptions of being struck by lightning or an oncoming vehicle at high speeds.
So now, as Clara pushes the box gently into his hands, Emmett feels himself once again being struck by the eight-AM train going full-speed, temporarily knocking out his ability to form a coherent sentence. How could he, with the sound of his own heart beating in his ears? His mouth falls open in surprise and he has half a mind to pinch himself to see if he's really just dreaming, but the thought that this might all end if he does has him holding back, clinging to the box instead.
âMarriage! Are you absolutely certain, Clara?â Emmett says, the words coming unbidden. The last thing he should be doing is giving her reasons to change her mind, but he needs to be certain this is exactly what she wants, that she has no lingering doubts about what this next step will mean.
It occurs to him then to open the box, to make this real, knowing already what would be inside.
âOf course IâI mean, Iââgood God, Emmett, pull yourself together, you've never been this nervous in your life; acting like some schoolboy...what a thing love is!ââClara, I would love nothing more than to marry you. We will make it official, if that's what you wantâsend out all the necessary announcements, make the arrangements for the weddingâand I'll have a ring for you within a few weeks' time.â

Okay finished the Haruspex route of Pathologic Classic! I need to play Clara's route to see the whole picture but I'm already fascinated by the differences between P1 and P2 in terms of characterization. I think I like Pathologic 2 even more now considering how they improved on Artemy's route, I am sorry to say I didn't like it at all in classic... This is all just my personal impression after first playthrough ofc. Ramblings about both Artemy and Daniil â I think what bothered me about Haruspex was mostly just his attitude and his messiah plot. Once the first day is out of the way it's all smooth sailing for him, a bit too much so?? The only personal conflict he has is figuring out his father's exact wishes for him and choosing a sacrifice. Killing anyone is treated as fair or something that needed to happen and the Haruspex is always shrugging it off... And either option, Aglaya & the Town or Polyhedron... It just doesn't seem like he is that attached to either? So it doesn't feel like he is sacrificing much personally? Like sure he wants to save the Town because of his messianic qualities, but that's again more about fulfilling his 'role' rather than genuinely wanting to save lives, or at least it read that way to me. I'm sure it's meant to be both and P2 makes this far more apparent, but in P1 it elicited a rather squinty reaction from me. Plus well yeah, getting rid of Polyhedron is pretty much just ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ, like yep he sure didn't care about that thing lmao so getting rid of it isn't such a difficult choice at all. The suggestion that the Polyhedron could be his Udurgh is kind of useless because the Town and Earth are far better candidates and fit with Kin beliefs better, which in this game Artemy pretty much doesn't doubt at all. Maybe this is why the Bachelor is so present in his route? Daniil did say he'd commit suicide if he lost, maybe we'd want to think twice about pushing him towards it... But again! Does it seem like this guy cares ahhh haha... The dialogue option that is actually engaging with what Daniil said is pretty much there to make it clear to the player what the Utopian ending is and what it would be like.
Ngl at first I thought he was meant to be the 'sacrifice' until they said it's a woman. Every time Artemy learned something about the Bachelor's motivations he'd write down in his diary like '...if it matters' since the player can always choose what ending to go with I guess. I also find it curious that he can say that they are friends but still always writing only 'the Bachelor' in his diaries while Daniil switched to 'Artemy' and 'Burakh' during the final stretch. The one-sided yaoi................ đ€ At least Artemy doesn't get mad at him for ordering to set the mythic bull on fire, I guess their friendship did mean something to him after all at that point. Also when Capella tells him that he should ask the Bachelor for help with getting into the Polyhedron since the Bachelor 'fawns upon you a lot anyway' the Haruspex just goes 'oh yeah! ok' fjdghdjg... Now that I think about it I DID like the Haruspex route for what it did with the Bachelor hahah, his dialogues and letters are just so good sometimes. Like wow, I felt this.
Very cool, if i was Artemy I'd totally abandon my weird murderous calling for this. Tangentially related... P2 had one moment that I remember from my last replay when Rubin, if kept alive, falls into a deep deserved sleep in his home, and Artemy just starts emotionally monologuing at him.
Like, P1 Artemy would never, but also it goes to show that he's still very much a repressed man here too, buying into toxic masculinity ideals who can't just talk to his friends about his feelings directly... The same character, but more complex. I want to make it clear that I DO like him and his motivations in P2 actually, and his personal conflict being more about the future of the Kin makes that game much more powerful to me than what his classic route was. I heard that initially he was planned to be far more violent and dark, so maybe he could have been sort of a villain protagonist and this was changed later and this is why it feels a bit bland? Hmm... Idk this is fun to me because meanwhile the Bachelor didn't feel that different to me in both games lmao. A highly stressed educated guy who is just trying to prevent the spread of epidemic the 'right' way and then clinging to the only chance he has left to preserve both his ideals and his life. He is a bit less polite in P2 at first (while still very much helping by warding off Rubin) but then rather quickly becomes more cordial to Artemy and vice versa (and wow it sure is nice when Artemy can actually be polite and friendly..). And the moment when he explains some of his personal deal to Artemy feels rather similar in both iterations mood-wise.
I liked his route in P1 a lot, surprisingly so, and I now understand why so many people liked him before P2 came out and afterwards too... There's just something very real about how he is the intelligent Capital doctor but with an extraordinary dream to combat death itself, possibly given to him by the Powers That Be due to these children trying to cope with people dying around them. And instead of favoring him for it they hate him! They leave him with nothing but this final chance to fix things, even if that means destroying everything and rebuilding anew. Daniil's desperation feels very real and thus more compelling, plus like... I mean it's pretty much confirmed that it's not just the Polyhedron and that the soil itself is 'rotten' (literally in the meta real world and through blood beneath the earth in the Town itself) and the decease could return again, sooo his ending doesn't look that bad comparatively. I also appreciated how Maria (or uhh was it Nina talking through her here as well?) explained how their Utopia doesn't actually mean a 'perfect' place, more so just an impossible dream.
The Bachelor doesn't mind this at all, a detail I loved.
...Hmm that said maybe P1 makes it a little too easy for him to kinda ignore the Kin issue, he is only mad about their circumstances when it comes to Vlad choosing to doom thousands of the Kin workers inside the Termitary (which is just his doctor ethics). I mean it is realistic for him to ignore the implications of representing the imperialist side, he does mention his father was a military man too at some point I think... Still, he is very quick to accept the Kin's unique beliefs as something that has obvious merit, trusting the Haruspex with that side of things in both of their routes, and he doesn't make much of a distinction between them and regular Town people when it comes to patient treatment. If anything it's probably a sign of how the writers weren't thinking that hard about this worldbuilding aspect at the time... even if I appreciated them showing the downsides of the Kin's society, I think those were done better than in P2 purely because it was a bit more realistic (I am talking about sexism mostly, such as selling their own daughters and not respecting their autonomy, plus the mention of Kin politics and different ruling clans rather than the hive mind situation implied in P2). Like, it is more obvious in P1 that wholeheartedly embracing the Kin's return to tradition isn't such a good solution for them either, but one that will likely happen anyway with Artemy and Taya as their new leaders. And it could get trickier in Pathologic 3 I think, especially since most of us really appreciated the portrayal of colonization in P2 and would expect it getting addressed again in future games of other character routes, but we'll see I guess! Either way I look forward to that game a lot now.

@goldendreams3 for the prompt (that discord so rudely deleted): Magnus not feeling like celebrating his birthday because it reminds him of bad things and the trainees decide to throw him some love to cheer him up and because they want to remind him they love him.
âYouâre sure you donât want to do anything special for your birthday?â Alec asks as he closes the door to his office behind him with his hip. The mountain of books in his arms sways dangerously for a second, forcing him to move his arms without dropping his phone or stumbling over the clutter of swords and crayons Hideaki and Ariadne left behind earlier. "We can go to that restaurant you like? The one in Hanoi - or we can go for drinks at Pandemonium?"
"I would say spending the evening with the man I love to be rather special," Magnus jokes and he doesn't sound upset saying this, but it wouldn't be the first time Alec got it wrong. Or even the tenth.
"If you're sure," Alec trails off, still wondering how Magnus, who threw a quarter-year birthday for Chairman Meow just last week, is happy not doing anything for his.
"I'm sure, darling."
âOkay,â Alec relents. "I'll see you tonight." He drops the books on his desk, making a mental note to warn Ragnor he retrieved the rest of his books he'd abandoned at the Academy. He then grabs his phone more comfortably, holding the receiver close to his mouth as he whispers a soft goodbye that Magnus is quick to return with the three words that never fail to make Alec smile.
The rest of his day goes by without a hitch. Alec shoots Ragnor a fire message to inform him he retrieved his books, reviews Jace and Stonehedge's mission reports and finishes the patrol roster for the rest of the month without any disturbances.
That probably should have been his first clue.
The lack of intrusions coming from his shadowhunters and his trainees in particular should have been his first clue as well as his second, third and fourth. And yet it isn't, which is how Alec finds himself being ambushed by the trainees when he tries to leave the institute.
"We're coming too," Doris tells him point-blank, her hands on her hips and her chin tilted up to look him in the eye. She's holding a package covered in gift wrapper sticking, neatly wrapped and tied with a pink ribbon.
Looking at the other trainees, Alec finds a similar sight, neatly (and not so neatly) wrapped presents, all tied off with a ribbon - or in Clara's case tied off with seven different ribbons to make a rainbow - and Alec doesn't have to guess who the packages are for.
He does have to wonder how he's going to convince the trainees Magnus isn't feeling up to partying.
"Magnus got us presents, so now we get Magnus presents," Clara reasons, her mouth pursing in that particular way that warns a temper tantrum is quick to follow if she doesn't get her way. Although, looking at the other trainees Alec doubts she'd be the only one to throw a fit.
"Magnus doesn't feel like having a big party," Alec says, crouching down to speak on a more equal level with his trainees. He raises his hand with his palm toward them when he sees several mouths open to begin protesting. "I'm not saying I don't want you to come," he assures. "But it's also not my decision to make. So, I'm going to call Magnus and ask him if it's okay for you to come, but if he says no we're going to have to wait another day, okay?"
He waits until everyone and especially Doris and Max, the no-doubt prime organizers of this intervention, nod in agreement before he pulls out his phone and dials Magnus' number.
Only to land on his voicemail.
His second and third attempts also go straight to voicemail and either Magnus got distracted by something and forgot to charge his phone again, or he's somewhere without phone reception.
The little menaces are all smiling gleefully when is fourth attempt fails as well. "Fine," he relents, wincing at the sudden onslaught of noise that hits his ears. "But-," he stresses, making sure his voice is audible over the excited cheers of Julian and Keith in particular. "-if Magnus says he wants to be alone it's back to the institute, okay?"
The chorus of Yes, Alec is less enthusiastic than he'd like it to be, but at this stage he'll take it.
Thinking the situation is resolved, Alec is already preparing to herd all of his trainees to the florist close to Magnus' loft only for Max to pipe up, smiling proud and unabashed.
"We need to go get Sammy first!"
Alec doesn't comment on the sleeping bag thrown over Sam's shoulder or the see you tomorrow he bids his mother goodbye with. He simply throws Max another look, a long stare that is greeted with his usual angelic smile and impish face.
"You're explaining this one to Magnus," he warns him to Max's clear amusement. In his arms, Madzie and Steph laugh as well, hiding their laughter into his shoulder. They're all smiling happily, each of his trainees holding their presents with the utmost care to make sure they don't break them.
Shaking his head, Alec shepherds them down another crossroad. He looks back down at his phone, noticing Magnus still hasn't tried to call him back and Alec hopes he isn't going to upset both Magnus and the trainees by going along with this.
Magnus returns from his trip to the Seelie Realm just in time to feel Alec pass through his secondary wards - along with a handful of other Nephilim signatures Magnus recognizes. At the same time, his phone buzzes alerting him to six new missed calls from Alec and a message.
He doesn't get the time to read the message before Alec is knocking on his door, the sound soft and hesitant the way it never is.
"Surprise!" The trainees cheer once he opens his door, their smiles contagious in their joy. "Happy Birthday, Magnus!"
Alec is giving him an apologetic look, something between happiness and worry floating through their bond. "They got you presents," he says in explanation. And, on cue, the trainees all trust their presents forward, colorful packages clashing with glittery ribbons that are garish enough to even make his eyes hurt.
"Maybe we should wait until we're all inside," Alec suggests, giving the trainees a look that tells them to behave. He then lets them get inside one by one, telling them to leave their weapons on the coat hanger along with his dirty shoes before he's helping Madzie and Steph with their jackets.
In his pocket, Magnus' phone rings to alert him to another message and, with the trainees preoccupied he has the time to read both messages: A warning that Alec wouldn't be coming alone and a promise that Alec will leave with the trainees as soon as they have handed him the presents they've prepared.
Magnus doesn't have the time to write a response. He doesn't even have the time figure out whether he wants the trainees to leave or not when Hideaki and Ariadne, his two shy little ones, walk over to hand him two rolled up papers.
"It's for you," Ariadne tells him softly, her cheeks red and her fingers toying nervously with the pieces of tape sticking to her present. Beside her Hideaki looks equally nervous.
The drawings are beautiful.
Magnus knows what he looks like. He knows what kind of impression he creates when he's dressed to impress and has his make-up is painted to match. He's flirted and seduced enough people throughout his centuries to know other people find him attractive and to know he is attractive.
He's never seen himself like this though. Painted and drawn to look beautiful and happy, innocent flowers and a happily-purring Chairman Meow sitting on his lap on the drawing Hideaki drew for him. Happy and at ease, Alexander smiling and holding his hands while the trainees sit around them in Ariadne's.
Happy and loved in both.
"We too! We too!" Clara yells as small hands wrap around his wrist to drag him over to the living room. "Magnus has to open all the presents."
Magnus can hear Alec say something to try and reign the trainees in, but his mind is still stuck on the drawings. On what must have taken both Ariadne and Hideaki hours of work to finish and yet is only considered an extra as both are still holding a wrapped gift in their hands.
Hours later, with the trainees all asleep in their sleeping bags on his living room floor and Chairman Meow napping on top of a softly dozing Aloysius, Magnus steps out on his balcony to take some fresh air.
"I'm sorry for the ambush," Alec apologizes when he joins him a few minutes later. "I don't know who told them, but they were waiting for me when I was about to leave the institute and-,"
No matter how many times he does it, Magnus will never tire of the way Alec grows silent whenever Magnus presses a finger to his lips. "I'm not mad," he assures. "I might not be a fan of surprises, but I'm happy to make an exception just this once."
He doesn't mention that his birthday always reminds him of his mother. That they remind him of who and what he is, of what was done to her and what it cost her. Cost him.
"I-," Alec licks his lips," I have a surprise for you as well. If that's okay with you?"
Magnus turns to him with a surprised look. He'd thought the flowers and potion ingredients Alec had gotten him - and he'll have to ask him where he got the dried serafil flowers from - had been Alec's birthday gift for him.
"Okay then," Magnus says, wondering what Alec could have gotten him that has him this twisted up, "Surprise me, shadowhunter."
Alec gives him a bracelet.
A simple silver bracelet. It's thin, nearly dainty compared to Magnus jewelry. A simple thin band with a small opening to allow someone to put it on and off more easily.
It's not something Magnus would have ever chosen for himself. It's a bracelet Magnus likely wouldn't have even noticed lying in a store and yet-
"You don't have to wear it if you don't like it," Alec is quick to assure, even though everything about his stance screams the opposite. Although, Magnus doesn't even need to look at Alec to know so.
A single look at the runes and flowers engraved on the inside would have told him just as much. The gentle curves, the sharp edges and the sweet, endearingly so, traces of magic that linger around each of them.
"It's perfect," Magnus tells him, the words never having sounded or felt more honest than right now. He holds out his arm, a silent request Alec is quick to follow. It makes the moon hit one of the runes Magnus doesn't know yet, makes them shine with an otherwordly glow as soft tendrils of magic curl around Magnus protectively, "Tell me what they mean?"
Magnus has celebrated his birthday in a hundred different ways since he found out about his parentage - loud and extravagantly, quietly and unnoticed. And yet, somehow all of those variations pale compared to this: sitting on his balcony with Alec, while in his living room, the trainees doze peacefully.

Clara sighs. Sometimes, being a teacher is difficult- especially when she has to read what may be the world's most nonsensical, incorrect, poorly written essay that has ever been written, and not call her student a dumbass. Seriously, how do you only have 12 sentences in a 2000 word essay? Why is there no intro paragraph? How does a 14 year old misspell "you"?
She leans back in her chair. She's probably used an entire red pen on this essay alone- she's not even halfway done yet. A break, she figures, is well deserved.
She had lost track of the Doctor a while ago, which was a bit concerning considering that last she knew, he was regressed, but she trusted him enough that she wasn't worried about him blowing something up or somehow breaking the TARDIS.
The Doctor wasn't very high maintenance when it came to regression. About an hour ago, before she sat down to do her work, she had sat him down on a blanket with a sensory board, a few small toys, and his pacifier, and left him to his own devices. In hindsight, maybe she shouldn't have put him behind her so she could watch him, but in her defense, normally he stayed put.
"Hello?" Clara asks. The only response she gets is a series of beeps and boops from the TARDIS. "Not you, where's the Doctor?" The TARDIS responds with another beep, as if to remind her that she can't really answer that.
"Right." Clara huffs. She stands there for a moment before pivoting on her heel and walking down one of the corridors.
The TARDIS is huge. Honestly, getting lost in here is way too easy- and the complete lack of signage definitely wasn't helping. She knew she wasn't his first companion. Had none of them complained about the absolute labyrinth that was the TARDIS hallways?
About half an hour passes before she finds herself back in the console room, which she hadn't even known she was heading for. Feeling slightly confused, she heads back down the hallway, only to pop up in the same place again. And again. And again.
"You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?" she asks the TARDIS. Still, it can't respond with much more than a few beeps and boops.
Clara huffs. "This isn't funny y'know."
Beep boop.
"I'm serious."
Boop beep.
Clara groans. "You're going to let me find him this time, alright?" she says, in her best disappointed teacher voice, as if the time machine was able to feel ashamed.
Beep beep boop.
She gives the console one last glare before heading back down the corridor. If she would've listened, she would've heard the playful giggle from behind her.
"Okay, seriously, this is getting annoying." She says. Behind her, someone- the Doctor, actually, erupts into a fit of amused laughter.
Clara spins around. "Have you been there the entire time?" She asks.
The Doctor nods. "Hiding."
"You were hiding, and doing a very good job of it!" She responded. He was sitting on a bean bag next to her desk, looking rather cozy under his favorite blanket while aimlessly fiddling with a rubix cube.
"Silly." He says.
"You are very silly, Doctor." She says, crouching down to his level and booping his nose affectionately.
"No." He says, booping her nose in return. "Silly."
"I'm not silly!" She gasps, bringing a hand to her heart in mock offense, illiciting a chuckle from the Doctor.
Clara smiles. "Okay, maybe I'm a little bit silly."

A Relationship with Rat/Jacob Lester...
Podcast: Archive 81
Some people just write for popular/living fandoms...then there's what I'm doing out here with podcasts... This is written a lot differently that I have done before, but I think it fits nicely.
I have not finished Archive81 so may not be fully in character, but I wrote all this at work and was happy with it. Enjoy.
Dan is somewhat of his proudest creation and Rat loves gushing to you about all he can do or might be able to do, or might not. It may get a little repetitive, but you humor him to get to watch his joy in doing so.
Whether you are human or not, Rat is often confused at such emotions and the care he feels towards you, but you also seem to feel the same, and that's very enjoyable. He is happy with you.
If you are one of his creations, oh how wonderful. He is even more helpful to your curiosities to your new self.
The others are very weirded out by his interest then obvious infatuation with you.
First by his eager fascination, whether you're human or not, he's never been quite this "bad" with someone, and Clara and Lou try to guide you away from him at times.
They find his crush very disturbing, and with a shiver down their spines of "at least it's not me" and "oh that poor soul"
Even more horrified that you reciprocate it.
You have been asked if you're okay or if something was Done to you.
But you really are a good match together, even if you don't always understand and can't match his energy, Rat will fit himself to you as well.
If he is cross with someone he usually ends up pouting silently, and will likely come to you for company while he broods.
If he is cross with you, he isn't sure what to do, he does not like being angry with you, and usually goes to you about these things. He gets over it quickly if left alone though.
If you are mad at him he will pout, somewhat cutely (at least to you) and follow you closely like a puppy that got in trouble while you ignore him.
He is definitely very touchy, and affectionate. In his own ways of course.
He knows all the rooms in the outpost and will gladly show you each and every one.
And of course ask you to come exploring with him when new ones appear so you can experience them together.
He knew you were sad and missed music and apologized to you that listening to things are dangerous here, but asked Dan if he found anything safe if you might be able to listen to it too.
He tries humming to you are times.
You once told him his giggles were like music to you and it is the first time anyone has seen him blush.
There are many beautiful things here and he wants to show you them all, and he watches your reactions and finds them even more beautiful.
If you were to leave the company, he would follow you, and if you were to stay, he would be by your side.
If you were to decide on a name you thought would fit him nicely, whether a word or thing or name, it would only be for you to use. Others may call him Rat, you may call him Rat, he is often called many things, but he will remind them that that name is his only to you.
He can be very hyper (minded and physically) and speed off, but quickly backtracks when he realizes you are not beside him to go get you.
If you eat and if you sleep he is very happy to join you while you do so and watch.
It has been so long since he needed to eat and has mostly forgot anything about foods but asks for your favorites and what you think of each meal and he always remembers.
He remembers everything about you and what you tell him, you are very special to him after all.
He would do anything for you, even breaching contract. Even lying.
Rat, for all people think of him, disturbing and unnerving, annoying or creepy, no one would say he is unloyal after watching him with you.
You are his first priority when the Curator starts hunting in the outpost.
If you are one of his creations, despite how proud of you he is and how much he enjoys creating and thinking of his creations, he does not like thinking about your pained screams when you were being made, even though what you were made into is so beautiful.
He would listen to Dan's podcast with you if you were there beforehand, or would gladly take you to listen with him again through patreon, excited to show you how fun it was before.

8, 9 and 14 for the salty ask game!!
8.) Have you received anon hate? What about?
Yup. I don't get it often, but it's happened. Mainly over on FFnet, but I've gotten some questionable commentary on Ao3 too.
Usually it's people pissed off that I'm writing queer fiction. Or people pissed off that I'm writing for queer identities that they want to gate keep. So basically people who are being bigoted about queerness.
There was the angry anon on FFnet who kept calling me a fag. Haven't seen him in a while, hope it's because he's learned to be more tolerant and not simply that he's moved on to other targets. I've had a couple of people react very badly to my aromantic headcanon for the Doctor. Because how dare I not believe they weren't romantically in love with Rose or River or Clara or... whoever. One really indignant person who just could not believe anyone would ship Barry and Eddie because they 'hated' each other. (They didn't? It's okay to not like a ship for no real reason and then just... avoid that ship. Don't have to hate on ships you don't understand, mmkay?) Then there was that one person who told me I was being biphobic for having Anya be a lesbian in a fic where Buffy was starting to realize she was bi. I'm quite serious about that last one, it was such a WTF moment.
I've also gotten some hate for treating characters I like in nice and understanding ways. Mostly Iris. And it's been only a few times, but I know it's just a small taste of the larger hate directed at her in the fandom at large.
9.) Most disliked character(s)? Why?
Mark Blaine. The origin of Chillblaine being that of a Captain Cold knock off in the comics was not a good sign and, to be honest, he was not well served on the show either. The writing for Mark and Frost originally felt like a poor attempt to recapture Barry's chemistry with Len, but this time the straight edition and lacking any actual chemistry. Then when he starts his redemption arc, it feels like it comes at the expense of a lot of Frost's screen time and characterization. The focus was no longer on her - it was on her boyfriend. And then when Frost died to save Caitlin - with Caitlin 'dying' shortly afterwards anyway - the focus of all the grief over Frost and Caitlin was mainly on him. Not Frost and Caitlin's friends who'd known them and loved them longer and knew their histories so much better... Mark Blaine. Who was playing replacement goldfish with Khione, when he wasn't pitching an epic fit about not being allowed to kill-replace Khione with Frost.
14.) Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
There's definitely an issue with parts of the fandom when it comes to accepting characters have messy and sometimes bad reactions to their trauma.
Cisco gets this treatment for S3 where he's grieving his brother to the point where some people still hate him for it even now, seasons later after Cisco and Barry both made amends and came out with their friendship stronger than before. Iris gets it for being angry that Barry sacrificing himself at the end of S3 forced her to relive the same trauma she's already suffered from Eddie's death at the end of S1. Frost gets it for being immature and frightened (and suicidal) in S3 and lashing out at people because she'd never learned how to handle her emotions in healthy ways. She gained so much character development and worked hard to make amends for her villainous start, but some people never acknowledge her character development post S3 because she doesn't apologize in the exactly perfect way. Harry was massively traumatized by his daughter's kidnapping when he first arrived in S2, but he grew to love and be highly protective of Team Flash. Yet some people refuse to see past that first time he called Cisco 'Crisco'.
I'm not saying that everyone has to like all the characters. Or their character arcs. But a well rounded character is not going to be perfect. They're going to react badly to circumstances some times. They shouldn't be defined only by their worst impulses, especially if they're shown to grow beyond those impulses. It's okay to dislike a character without having to 'prove' that the character is morally impure first.
Though, to be fair, the purity culture thing is a problem with fandom at large. And I've been fortunate to avoid the worst of it in the Flash fandom.

Indecent Proposal
Rochester gets to the part in his sad boy emo tale where he meets Jane. As we can expect from him by now, he is very poetic about it, but also admits to watching her without her knowledge. First when she was playing with Adele, then later, when she was walking the corridors of Thornfield, deep in her thoughts. Okay, so--if this is bad when his vampire namesake of Twilight does that to Bella, then surely it's bad here, no? Observing her while she's with Adele is understandable, he wants to satisfy himself she is competent at the job he is paying her for. But the other... hmm, questionable.
I liked my name pronounced by your lips in a grateful happy accent
What name, lol? She addressed him as "sir" or "Mr Rochester". She only called him "Edward" upon his insistence on it, during that emotional abuse of a proposal. And that was later.
He goes on to spill further verbal diarrhoea. My gods, that guy can talk, it's paragraphs and paragraphs and paragraphs and paragraphs of words, interjected by a single line from Jane, which always contains a "sir". At long last, he gets to the point--he wants Jane to say she will he his. He insists there is nothing wrong with the two of them being together. Jane refuses to yield. Roch points out that she has no one, no relatives of friends, who would be offended by their relationship.Â
What a shitty thing to say. Throwing it to her face that she is alone in the world, also, do I detect a touch of threat? You have nobody, therefore nobody will care what happens to you.
âIÂ care for myself. The more solitary, the more friendless, the more unsustained I am, the more I will respect myself. I will keep the law given by God; sanctioned by man. I will hold to the principles received by me when I was sane, and not madâas I am now. Laws and principles are not for the times when there is no temptation: they are for such moments as this, when body and soul rise in mutiny against their rigour; stringent are they; inviolate they shall be. If at my individual convenience I might break them, what would be their worth? They have a worthâso I have always believed; and if I cannot believe it now, it is because I am insaneâquite insane: with my veins running fire, and my heart beating faster than I can count its throbs. Preconceived opinions, foregone determinations, are all I have at this hour to stand by: there I plant my foot.â
I can get behind this. Much better than those two popular, overhyped quotes (the "no bird no net ensnares me" one and the "do you think I'm an automaton machine" one). This time around Eddie is actually listening. And she's not crying.
The Roch is furious. He seizes her arm and grabs her waist. He grits his teeth and spouts more dramatic tripe, but he does release her.Â
Rochester:Â âThen you will not yield?â
Jane:Â âNo.â
Rochester:Â âThen you condemn me to live wretched and to die accursed?â
New insult just dropped. "Live wretched and die accursed!"
This too:
"You make me a liar by such language: you sully my honour."
The guy who's been lying ever since he entered the scene and would not know honour if it slapped him in his ugly face.Â
She turns to go.Â
Then he throws himself on the sofa and exclaims:Â
âOh, Jane! my hopeâmy loveâmy life!â
And he sobs.
It's almost comical.
If this was an Oscar Wilde society play, it would be funny. Rochester would fit well in that setting, what with his declamations and amazing bunburying skills. In this novel, however, it only comes across as manipulative.Â
Not to mention hypocritical. He elevates Jane over all the other women he had relationships with, yet he demands she acts the same as them. He's essentially asking her to be his mistress, like Celine and Giacinta and Clara. They would agree to this offer, because they wanted to be mistresses (presumably), but Jane is not like that and HE SHOULD KNOW she's not like that BECAUSE HE KEEPS SAYING HOW SHE'S SO MUCH BETTER THAN ALL THE WOMEN IN THE WORLD. Gah. Same as with those jewels and nice clothes. He pushes these things on her, even though he praises her for not wanting them. Make it make sense, Ed.
Blanche Ingram would send him somewhere if he suggested this to her. Except she'd grab the jewels. And the clothes. And that nice new carriage. As a bonus, she'd give him a finger from the window of the carriage, as it was exiting the Thornfield driveway. And she'd make it an entertaining story to tell at parties. He wouldn't dare show his ugly face at any of their gatherings any time soon.
See why I say Blanche was not needed in the story to provide romantic tension. Edward has been married all along, which itself provides more than enough conflict!
Rochester would never, ever dare pull the bigamy stunt with Blanche. Or any other high class lady for that matter. But he knew he could get away with it with poor plain obscure Jane, two decades younger than him, Jane of no family or friends.
Except she turned out to have some family, who happened to be rich and put a stop to his plans.Â

Hi! I know you haven't replied yet so take your time but I wanted to know your opinion about the track titles!!! I hope it's okay that I'm sending another ask lol. I was so not expecting it yesterday and it made me a little more confused and excited for the album! I think i'm kinda right saying it will sound like rep mixed with folklore based on some of the titles but it also feels like it doesn't all fit together yet either. Like the first half was like rep a little bit with the Post collab being kinda like Endgame I guess and then there were titles that reminded me a lot of Lana that don't make a lot of sense for Taylor to me lol. I'm also curious about it starting with a collab but it could also be similar to Lavender Haze? I also think it could tell a story kinda in order or something which is like rep? But the last few songs reminded me of Folklore vibes and were more interesting maybe? My sister likes Alchemy and I liked the title track, which still reminds me of Dead Poets Society haha. And Clara Bow also shocked me.. and that's exactly where my mind went too lol. I wanna be her..I wanna be her..dressed in style like Claraaa..I was just singing that part the rest of the day. I was mostly surprised I actually knew a reference omg. I had to remind my sister who didn't know. Also the Slammer song reminded me of rep and Bonne and Clyde vibes too which could be why I felt that. What did you think? What were some of your favorites? What do you think it will sound like now? It's okay if you don't reply cuz I felt overwhelmed by everything yesterday too but I wanted to know your thoughts! Hope you're well! đ©·
i've seen a few people say the album / the vibes of the album remind them of lana â or ethel cain! i'm definitely interested in seeing more from this album, in terms of visuals â i wonder if music videos will also have this sepia tone, or if they'll be in color. i kind of answered this ask in my last ask, but i did spend a good chunk of time last night listening to the west end cast recording of bonnie & clyde. ugh such a good show! just like clLLLLLllarrAAAAAA. the slammer song reminds me of getaway car, which i'm intrigued about! i saw someone say this will be her the last five years, which i was like đ„Ž i don't think that means what you think it does... haha. but i also did spend a good chunk of time listening to tl5y today. hope you're doing well, friend! đ€

okay here we go.
(translated with deepl)
here is my first impression of oxford bestie. when i read this i died. like who is this bella swan mysterious and lonely not-like-other-girls icon???
As I listen to other girls' stories, I look away. There I notice a cute girl with brown hair and fringe. I vaguely remember her from last year. I remember noticing her in maths class. She was sitting so lonely in the corner of the classroom that I thought. felt I felt a little sorry for her. That day, she stood out from everyone I'd seen. That's when I decided that when I moved to this school, I'd try to make friends with her. Today, she looks the same lonely, even though she's surrounded by people. I find it strange that, instead of standing with everyone else, it's like she's trying to fit in with the guys. I'm gonna have to find out more about her.
this is the part i read and wanted to kms. what in the weaboo emo teen is this somebody kill me.
The atmosphere of the new school distracts me from bad dark thoughts: that no one needs me; that I'm making things worse; that I should die.
"You like anime, don't you? - smiling sweetly *Manchester bestie* asks me before class starts.
"Yeah, I love it," I exclaim.
dEeP dArK tHoUgHtS ahhhhhh
After taking a warm shower and turning off the light, I lie on my side, staring at the wall, and listen to my roommates talking as they listen to music in the same bed. They're talking about virginity and how it's stupid to wait to get married. I think of Yasmin, who is adamantly against it.
"How long do we have to wait?" says Clara in a whisper. "I'm ready now!"
there's something so cute about this idk. like we were such babies.
"Oh my God!" gasped Yasmin horrified, looking at the mailbox. "That's Vladimir Stosic! The crazy Serbian who teaches us chemistry." Yasmin had told me a lot about Stosic. According to her, he's a Satanist and a member of the Order of the Dragon. They say he even has a devil tattoo! His daughter is in sixth form and it turns out he drove her into depression and she shaved her head. Even though he teaches chemistry, he's a bit of a mess and all he's told his students is that he killed his wife, by throwing a plugged-in light bulb into her bathtub.
bro whatttt what is this lore who tf is vladimir stosic đđ
then there's the scandalous berlin trip! and there's a passage about how my london bestie and my oxford bestie went to KDW to buy bras and it's so funny to read about bc it was such a scandal back then! like that's so cute. then we play truth or dare and i have to kiss my crush! đ±đ±đ± also very cute and very much like "aww baby me, you were adorable".
then we go to the holocaust memorial and take very disrespectful photos that facebook never fails to remind me about every year. like "x years ago you took these super quirky photos" and every time im like oh god.
then oh my god! i put my head on my crush's shoulder!!! wowwwww (tbh that's more action than im getting these days, so 14 yr old me was winning)
then fuckkk okay i can't read this part. i had a north korea phase so i go on about american propaganda and how evil capitalism is. but not in a based way, but in a "im 14 and this is deep" way. fuck. and then i go on about gay marriage and how im such a passionate ally but not because im gay or anything i just like gay people and i believe in equality haha ha ha im not gay what. and then i talk about atheism and how religion is evil.
and then there's this
I've never been fallen in love with a guy before, and I don't know what kind of feelings are called love. Maybe I was in love with someone and I didn't realise it, thinking I just wanted to be friends with them, because you can feel that way about girls, too, right? Right?
and like bestieeee that's the gayest thing anyone's ever said, sorry to break it to you.
"Has anyone seen my T-shirt?" asks C suddenly, returning from the lake shore, where he was probably looking for it.
I look around, following the others' lead, and suddenly realise that, somehow, I've had his T-shirt all along! And how is it that after spending half an hour here by the fire, I hadn't realised I'd been clutching it to my chest. I hand it to C immediately, looking up into his eyes, the reflection of the fire playing in the muted blue.
"I'm sorry I didn't give it to you sooner," I tell him, putting my hand on his shoulder. "You must be freezing cold!"
"It's nothing," he waves it off.
you know, as cringe as it is like... there's something so cute and pure about this. like i want to hug my past self and tell her that everything is gonna be okay. and that it's okay to be in love. and that he's not worth it. like. i want to cry a little bit. </3
and then it gets even more heartbreaking for little me:
Suddenly, Dixie, a cute girl I had met long ago in my first German class, runs up to C. In her manner, she laughs loudly and hugs C, saying how cold he must have been the whole time. She strokes his head, pulling him tight against her.
"Dixie, Dixie," C resists, "I'm uncomfortable! I'm not cold at all!"
"Oh, come on, come on," she interrupts him. "Let's go to the tents at once! You're shivering, for heaven's sake!"
And with both arms round C, she leads him away from the fire.
It is sometimes embarrassing for her, for she, in her childish naivety, never hides her emotions. She probably doesn't even realise that such a thing is even possible.
I catch myself thinking that for the rest of my life, or at least for the rest of this school year, I'll be cursing myself for that I wasn't in Dixie's shoes at that moment.
babyyyy đ„șđ„șđ„șđ„ș it's okay, you'll survive </3
and then! my bestie and C get together! and the book ends!!!!!!!
(and then there's an epilogue where i get into communism again and talk about how i hate rich people. no, literally, i fucking say that.)
so yeah....
honestly now im glad that i wrote it bc it's like a little time capsule of what being a teenager was like. like a pre-teenager id say. bc that was before my weird sugardaddy phase and sex and alcohol.
it's extremely badly written, but there's a charm to it. like i know 14 year old me was sincere when she wrote it and you can feel her pain and it's so precious. the overall ~vibe~ of it reminded me of elif batuman's the idiot (not literally. this "book" of mine is a 3/10 at best, meanwhile the idiot is a solid 10) in the sense that there's this awkward tension between me and my crush and it doesn't go anywhere and it's very pathetic and you just want to shake her and say "he's not worth it!!!". but it's so sincere and innocent and she just wants to clench his tshirt against her chest and look into his deep blue eyes, like that's so adorable.
anyway, yeah. what an experience.
my london bestie's family is moving (mum got remarried so the family house is going to her older sister, long story) and so she was going through her old stuff. and she found the book i wrote when i was 15 and gave it to me.
and i wanted to maybe translate some parts of it and put it on here bc it just feels appropriate. but im reading it now and it's so cringe like i am in physical pain reading it.
here is how i summarised it on my insta yesterday:
im in year 10. i befriend *oxford bestie* who's like this bella swan mysterious lonely brunette who's friends with boys
we go to berlin and it's like hbo euphoria but even more dramatic! there's erotic dancing and suicide tw
i develop a massive crush on C. guess who else has a crush on C? oxford bestie! đ±
i become a communist as a coping mechanism
common themes: lust, homosexuality, wealth inequality, alcoholism
3/10

Can I have number 12 for Fendra please?
12: Is there a wedding? What was the proposal like? Any kind of honeymoon?
Okay, so, the wedding and honeymoon went well despite not having an auspicious start with the proposal.
In the name of avoiding spoilers for a later story, I'm going to skim over a lot of what happens with the proposal and just lead with these particular details.
1: Fenton has a very special ring.
2: Fenton needs to get said very special ring resized to fit Gandra's finger.
3: Fenton needs to pick up very special ring from jeweler from being resized, and asks Huey to pick up very special ring because Gandra's starting to suspect something is up because we all know how well Fenton can keep a secret.
4: Huey picks up the ring without a hitch.
Now, this is all going off to a great start. So things go horribly wrong, of course, because,
5: Dewey is Dewey. And a precious himbo-in-training. And inherited Della's impulse control.
6: Dewey. Puts. On. The. Ring.
7: The ring is now stuck on Dewey's finger.
8: Huey. Loses. His. Shit.
Huey: WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?
Dewey: I dunno. Better question: why are Gandra's fingers so small?
Though Huey does bring out a hatchet at some point in a moment of wrath, no fingers are severed in the name of getting the ring off Dewey's hand. And it does eventually come off with both ring and Dewey unscathed.
Everyone has a new appreciation for the Lord of the Rings. Yes, there are many jokes and puns made about it. Yes, Huey is called Gollum at one point. After Gandra actually gets the ring, some of the kids call it "Precious" and say it in the Gollum voice.
This isn't even half the other chaos that is going on at the exact same time. This is a C plot to this story. Maybe even a D plot.
Anyways. After all the proposal is made and accepted, pretty much the first thing Rosa does is take Gandra by the shoulders and say,
"I'm going to do the exact opposite of what my future-mother-in-law did and insist that you not have a Wedding Mass."
Rosa got guilt tripped into it and somehow had never attended a full Wedding Mass, and had no idea that it would be a two-hour-plus ceremony. On her knees at the front of the church the entire time. (This, by the way, is inspired by my sister's in-laws' wedding, in which they were also guilt tripped into a full Mass not having a clue what they got themselves into.)
Yeah, Rosa was not going to let that happen to Fenton and Gandra.
They do, however, get married at the Catholic church. Gandra didn't think that she'd want to get married in a white dress but agreed to do a single appointment of trying on wedding gowns, mostly just for fun. Except she actually ended up loving it and found three different dresses that she absolutely loved, all out of her price range, and Minnie took what she loved from each of the dresses to create a custom-gown for her.
Yeah, Fenton totally cried when Raymond and Kevin walked Gandra down the aisle. (The three of them weren't much better...)
Violet and Lena were co-maids of honor, and Huey was the best man.
Huey took planning this wedding very seriously. The engagement ring was barely on Gandra's finger before he pulled out the rather large three-ring-binder that was labeled "Fendra Wedding" that he had been assembling since the success of their third first date.
He... clashed slightly with Violet over it. Because she also had her own three-ring binder...
Lena, whom both called upon to settle matters as the third member of the bridal party, was firmly "Team Bride and Groom". Violet and Huey could be arguing about something small and Lena would just shoot Gandra a text like "You want X or Y?" and whatever Gandra chose (even if it was Z) was what they went with.
At the reception, Dewey and Clara do a duet of "All I've Ever Known" from Hadestown, because that's Gandra's favorite musical and the song is just so "them" according to Huey. (And he just ignores Louie when he says "Isn't that the number in which the characters are implied to have sex during the instrumental?")
Fenton tries to very nicely feed Gandra a bite of wedding cake. She smushes it into his face. Fenton retaliates by smearing frosting on her beak, the two of them laughing hysterically.
They honeymoon in Puerto Rico for two weeks. Fenton had always wanted to go and see where his family was from and where Rosa spent most of her childhood, and Gandra wanted to go somewhere where they could chill on a beach, eat good food, and be far away from Duckburg. It was a win-win.

no because,, i know you must be exhausted of all of these asks, but i dropped my homework for like 20 minutes to make these mini playlists for u & pitts, clara & charlie, linds & neil, & us girlies as a group :) (sadly, i don't know noe enough to make one for her & chris. but! i will make an effort to do so <3)

when i saw this i freaked out,,,,,,, first of all, your asks never fail to bring a smile to my face (even if i respond late, which seems to be my default) , and second, giving people playlists is a love languageâą and to have some tailored for our group????? brb, i have to go cry in a corner (and add all of these songs to a spotify playlist sTAT).
this is too sweet!!!!! and okay! here are some thoughts i have - vague ones that are kind of vibes only.
also, disclaimer that i'm pretty musically illiterate. my music knowledge stops at like,,,, 2015. if even that.
so pitts and meeks give me big hozier vibes. idk why exactly, but i feel like they'd both jam out to hozier. (the fact that you included hozier on our respective playlists shows me i'm right, lol.)
then! i've only listened to a little bit of conan gray, but his vibes really remind me of todd, and just a little bit of lindsay? like, lindsay could get into one or two songs of his if she were yearning at the moment, and todd can just,,,,, always get down to it. todd is people watching, convince me otherwise.
and okay, we all know clara is my 5sos mutual, but i truly do get good girls vibes from her and charlie's relationship. (there's even a line about her speaking french, asdfghjjhgfd)
and perhaps this is because i feel like your my taylor swift mutual, but i also get big taylor swift vibes from you and meeks. but like, indie pop or country taylor. i haven't listened to all of evermore, but those are the vibes.
and as for noe and chris, i feel like a song that fits with them could be i want to be with you by chloe moriondo. i don't actually know anything about the artist, but this song came up on my spotify, and it does scream them.
and lol, i only know like 3 songs by ricky montgomery, but i get those vibes for neil.
(also, i just get big ordinary days vibes from lindsay and neil, and i'm honestly not sure what it is exactly - is it the song beautiful, and the whole "for beautiful to happen, the beautiful has got to be seen" message? idk, but the association is there.)
#asks#mutuals#cass â đŠą#long post#no but now i have so many song recs!!!! bless you lindsay and aLWAYS come into my ask box i adore it#also i forgot to mention it but your songs slap. when i give them all a listen i will give you a full run down

Are there any taylor swift songs that you think connect to any of the storylines in any of the nancy drew games? I've never connected any but I'm suddenly curious
Thank so much for the ask! Also because this made me revisit old Taylor music :3
Be prepared. This is going to be very very long because I decided to go through every album because I have no self control. XD So getchya snacks and sit down for a read lol.
Iâve always thought âthe Manâ really fit with Nancy just in general? thatâs what comes first to mind.Â
*cue me going back to all the albums*
âStay Beautifulâ for Rick Arlen XDDD Haha jk would never to that to such a good song. Not sure why but âWhite Horseâ gives me the same vibes as the Renate quote about knights in shining armor? âYouâre Not Sorryâ @ Rentaro. Already said this, but the new guy in âthe Way I Loved Youâ is Ned. Not sure who the ex is though lol. âForever and Alwaysâ about Jacob and Leela from WAC O.o
For some reason... âSpark Flyâ is really hitting me as Jancy/Nace. âSpeak Nowâ But itâs Kit in HAU XD (jk Kit yaâll deserve better my dude) âMeanâ for all the girls at Waverly Academy. Oh! And âPicture to Burnâ for Markus and Anja o_o âEnchantedâ for whichever ship of your choice because thatâs one of my favorites. :)Â
Every single song about a jerk. Thatâs Henry singing about Summer. Also âWe Are Never Ever Getting Back Togetherâ. Also for some reason âCleanâ makes me think of him? Idk why. Just do.Â
âBetter Than Revengeâ and âLook What You Made Me Doâ: Dwayne Powers about Rick Arlen. Again probably the girls in WAC. I feel like this could apply to more people but I canât think of them so feel free to add. Maybe Jack @ mitch dyan or Detective Beech after Nancy gets them caught? Also I feel like âLook What You Made Me Doâ is a Nancy vs. Brenda song.Â
âLook What You Made Me Doâ just. Strikes me as such a Nancy song for some reason lol is that bad? XD (esp CW ShowTM Nancy maybe) also maybe a bit of âAfterglowâ.
Not sure why but âinnocentâ gives me MAJOR Scott Varnell vibes but that might be being too nice to him. âHauntedâ is SOO good I feel like it has to be something... if you cut out the romantic bits I feel like some lines would be kinda like Clara after the fire that killed Charlotte? Also if you wanna think of it with the romantic parts, use it for any angst ship of your choice. :)Â
âSupermanâ is Ned singing about Nancy and there is. No changing my mind. Iâve always thought of singing the chorus of âI Knew You Were Troubleâ and esp. for the culprits that I have crushed on lol (Eliot Chen who. yeah it happened. not proud of it) A Concept: âAll Too Wellâ for Elizebet and Magnus. I dunno I just really wanted this song to be in here. XD They also work with âI Almost Doâ.
âLong Liveâ for the og clue crew :3Â
Iâm trying to find a song for Dirk and Francis rn. Maybe âLove Storyâ? :O what. about âLast Kissâ. Oof. Thatâs painful. REALLY PAINFUL TO PICTURE. âState of Graceâ works too. âDonât Blame Meâ as well possibly. âCruel Summerâ too? Maybe âStarlightâ as well, but honestly that song works for any ship. (Starlight kinda gives me Nedcy vibes) âStay Stay Stayâ is also! Nedcy.
âBlank Spaceâ gives me Xenia energy for some reason even though it doesnât really fit with the story, as well as âI Did Something Badâ. (and obvi the nancy drew GTH meme lol)Â âOut of the Woodsâ gives me a Nancy ship vibe (....francy :3) or even Kate and Carson.Â
âBad Bloodâ: Lisa vs. Nancy. Anja vs. Nancy. Brenda vs. Nancy. Again, the Waverly girls.Â
âI Know Placesâ gives me Jason and Mei vibes (because I ship them).Â
OKAY SO LISTEN: I have a dumb story about my Alec Fell association with this song but thatâs a story for another day. But seriously Wildest Dreams is every NancyxSuspect-From-A-Case. Dave, Grigor (?) Alec (ha), Dylan, etc. O.o (or any ship but its just. this song really gives me that vibe) (maybe some francy or jancy vibes?) (I love this song so much omg)
âYou Are in Loveâ: works for Nedcy, Jancy, and Francy, but I feel like itâs especially Jancy? Also âEndgameâ. âDelicateâ is Francy to me for some reason. Plus âCall It What You Wantâ and âNew Years Dayâ can be any of them. I feel like thereâs a lot of her songs you can argue for ships lol XDÂ
â...Ready For It?â and âI Did Something Badâ gives me Zoe Wolfe vibes.
âDonât Blame Meâ has always given me an immortal and a mortal vibes, and while sheâs immortal,, Persephone and Hades.Â
âGorgeousâ for all thy Bess ships. I feel like it also works kinda as a Jancy or Francy but from the boysâ perspective. (Or Nancyâs too I guess lol the boys just came to mind first)Â
âThis is Why We Canât Have Nice Thingsâ: @ NANCY STOP BREAKING STUFF IN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN TOMBS
âLoverâ works for any ship but for some reason itâs givinâ me Jake and Camile vibes.
âArcherâ is Nace vibes, as well as âMiss Americana & the Heartbreak Princeâ. O.o (maaaaaaaybe Francy vibes too....idk im tired itâs midnight lol) âPaper Ringsâ is Jancy. so. Cornelia Street lowkey gives me Francy vibes......but you can take it for Jancy too. :D (gosh I love that song) And I already mentioned âItâs Nice to Have a Friendâ as a Nace anthem lol.
âLondon Boyâ. Dylan. Carter.
