The comeback was quick, each word dripping with annoyance - Like it'd hide the obvious twitch of her eye if she snapped back as quickly as she could. It wouldn't - Izayoi was nothing if not perceptive and on top of most details, annoyingly so - but she wasn't going to let it stop her from at least trying, either. If she could knock him down a peg or two, would that really be so bad? Would it be terrible to make him eat his words just once in their incredibly long lives?

"You got leashed because you were too out of control and wild for everyone's good. If you weren't pinned down in some form, you would've destroyed Halcyon long before the war did. Besides, I seem to remember it was Rei who sang the song that bound you to your own partner, wasn't it? I can't be blamed for that."

Except... She was. No matter how much he and Rei clearly loved one another, Lunaria had been the one behind teaching Rei the song she'd needed, and slowly and gently urging the younger to sing it when he was at his most vulnerable. Tying himself to the Fenix would've happened eventually, she was convinced of that much, but that was one he was completely on the money for, even if the Moon didn't want to admit as much right then.

The chimeras, though... "I didn't take Ralphina in because I was afraid, either. Their strength made the Astrals fear for their safety, remember? They were too powerful, too uncontrollable for them to keep. That strength still continues on through her, and I don't need to count generations to know it's in him in a weaker form. I offered her contract because someone had to try and prevent what you started. I failed, and I regret that. Now we have to keep those secrets before it destroys the next world, too. I'm just as powerful as you - I don't need the Chimeras to keep me safe."

"I do need to not lose my control over them, though. If they remember where they came from, do you think they'll stop at the ones who created them, or come for us? Do you truly think they'll leave you alone when they find out you ordered the hit on the Light Fenix, let alone as a joke, and never cared to stop the manipulation of that clan? There's an order we still need to uphold here, Izayoi, and if the sun himself is killed..."

That thought made her a little nervous, admittedly. She couldn't remember a time either of them had ever 'died'; what would happen to the cosmos if they did...? "I came to you for help in this, not to fight your stubborn, frustrating ass. We need to work together to fix this. I couldn't keep them apart and now I have to make sure there's no further threat before they mate. So. Are you going to help me, or do I need to slap tape over your mouth and force you to listen to Rei's singing?"

" - And if I remember right, the whole ordeal with trying to leash every chimera you find and bring them under your control is something only you're worried about. To someone like me, who doesn't even see those patchwork monstrosities as a threat, I couldn't give a rat's ass whether they share secrets or raise an entire army up under your 'control'. That's what it was, wasn't it? What it'd always been? Lunaria was terrified of those with more physical power, so she often used her smarts to get a situation under control before something with actual muscles could overpower her. She'd done it with him, she'd done it with at least one of the chimeras so far, and Izayoi wouldn't doubt if she didn't have her eyes on at least one Fenix by now, too.

It's SO bad, but I'm absolutely LOVING just...THINKING about how the boys are going to suffer- especially Simon. TERRIBLE I knooowww...But from how they treated her after her mistake..ESPECIALLY knowing her past...and Simon having her to go under?? Oh yeah. Yep. Yep. Yep. I knooooowww it was baaaadddd, buuuuttt how they treated her? I mean I get it; I one hundred percent get it. HOWEVER, they know they coulda shown her some grace -3-.

BUT SIMON!?! Yeah, him and Darling have just about had the same experiences minus the "deaths" in canon and the stuff with his family, but the two of them can connect deeper with experiences more so than she can with Kyle, Johnny, and Price. Specifically, how they BOTH shut down and revert/shrink back into themselves when something happened, so even though I got it, I was still pretty upset how they made her suffer. Especially when Price didn't even cuddle up with her like usual if I remember correctly. I mean, that made me SO upset. Kyle and Johnny are my top two right now for darling, Johnny being number one because of how he was with her heat and how he sewed up her stuffies. Albeit the two of them still had their moments.

I hope that makes my reasonings better XDD

8. What fic meant the most to you to write? Ooooh. Tough one. I think being completely honest it wasn't the ones I wrote, but the two original works I finally got round to posting this year, Hal Peacock's Life Is Perfectly Fine As It Is, Thank You and The Unintentional Redemption of Jack McQueen. I did write a few new bits for both of them, but I've been working on them on and off since 2007 in one form or another and it just feels so great to get them out there at last, and to garner a tiny little readership. I love my disastrous boys Hal and Jack so very much.

12. What fic was the easiest to write? death is certain, life is not just POURED out of my brain, and been waiting so long, it's true also just DEMANDED to be written (approximately five minutes after I declared I had no time or brainspace for a new fandom, oops), I haven't had something quite like that in a very long time indeed.

My two free hours became my boss's free hours (first coaching and gossiping and then more gossiping and scolding haha xd)

Anyway, as promised, a fic ready by the end of the day: crack treated seriously I guess. Fig catching MC and Sebastian in her bed.

Eleazar hummed as he made his way into his flat. It was small and cozy, perfect for him and Miriam while she was alive. They’d planned on moving to a bigger apartment or even a house in a magical community once they had children but, alas, between their different researches and experiments, they never got around to it.

At least not while Miriam was alive. Eleazar was one hundred percent sure she would have loved the little rascal he took in right after she passed on.

That, or she would’ve been able to keep the reckless Gryffindor in check.

Emilia Seabaugh, or Em-Sea for short, was as Gryffindor as they come: stubborn, brave, reckless, and a complete troublemaker. Eleazar didn’t know if he had as many white hairs before meeting her or if she was the reason for most of them.

Even tho, he had to admit he was so very proud of her. Refusing to absorb the power of the repository, claiming she’d tell her friends once she felt everyone was ready and they’d look for a way to destroy it. He had feared, at first, that she had been tempted, however, she only used it to heal him of his most serious injuries before sealing it and calling for help. Good thing the rest of the teachers were nearby, he didn’t know if he could’ve lived with himself if he had died in her arms.

He entered the apartment to be greeted by the clear sounds of intimacy coming from her hallway.

“Maybe I should’ve died after all,” he muttered to himself,

He sent a longing look to his own room before marching down the short hallway to her door.

“Not even a muffling charm,” he tsked, then knocked loudly on the door. “Em-Sea! I hope you used an alohomora ward 'cause I’m about to push this door open!”

“Shit,” Em-Sea’s voice echoed from inside. “Wait!”

Eleazar didn’t wait. He pushed the door open and had to close his eyes for a second to gather his wits. He took a deep breath. They were old enough to know what they were doing and old enough to use the necessary precautions that needed to be used.

“Mr. Sallow,” he greeted, opening his eyes, glad that they had the mind to pull the covers to hide themselves. “Nice to see you survived a week after graduation.”

“Professor Fig,” Sebastian stammered with a high-pitched voice. “Hi.”

“Eli!” Em-Sea exclaimed. “Weren’t you coming back next week? How was Godric’s Hollow?”

Eleazar stared her down. The Gryffindor girl stared back, although she did blush a little.

“I’ll wait in the living room, al right? You have one minute to come out,” he stated and walked out, leaving the door open.

“He’s going to kill me,” he heard Sebastian’s voice say. “Oh my god, I’m dead. I can’t believe I only made it one week out of the castle!”

“Shush, Sebastian,” Em-Sea used the tone she usually used when rolling her eyes. “He’s not going to kill you. Not here at least.”

“Forty seconds!” He called and he could hear them fumbling out of the bed and into some clothes. “So, they can follow instructions.”

Both young adults came out looking sheepish and still a little flushed on the face. Eleazar only smirked. His girl might be a grown-up now but he was still his responsibility and the wizarding world would be exposed before he let her (or the boy currently hiding behind her) fool around without making sure they were prepared for consequences.

Like getting caught by a parental figure and then threatened. He couldn’t wait to show Aesop the memory in a pensive.

"Mr. Sallow, do you know how to brew a contraceptive potion?" Eleazar asked as soon as they were in the living area.

"Yes, sir, of course," Sebastian nodded.

"I know how to brew it, too," Em-Sea rolled her eyes.

"I know you know, cupcake," Eleazar offered a shit-eating grin when he saw her face. Oh, how she hated it when he called her pet names. Was she like that when Sallow called her pet names too? "Anyway, could I have a few words with Mr. Sallow? Go get his backpack, I saw it at the feet of your bed."

Sebastian sent her a puppy-eyed look, begging her to stay, asking to stay, who knew? Eleazar was tired and was in no mood for sleepovers.

"Sebastian, Sebastian," Eleazar paced in front of the young man. "You know I love Em-Sea like my own child, right? We have a bond, Sebastian, one that makes me want to protect her from the world itself," Sebastian only nodded. "However, I know I can't protect her from the world, especially seeing how she looks for trouble in every corner," Sebastian wasn't fast enough to hide the smirk that formed on his face. Eleazar stepped closed, voice lower, and magic crackling around them. "What I can do, though, is protect her from boys like you. If she ends up hurt, injured, or even pregnant before she planned it, I will have your head and the Headless Hunt will gain a new member."

Sebastian gulped, wide-eyed and a little pale.

"I understand, sir," he said. "I swear on my magic I won't ever hurt her on purpose and I will be careful- we will be careful."

Eleazar glared into brown eyes for a second, simply enjoying the thrill of shovel-talking someone. Then he nodded and took a step back.

"See that you do," he said. "And I'm sorry but the flat is not big enough to hold sleepovers. I'm sure you'll find somewhere to stay."

"Will you?" Em-Sea asked worriedly, returning with Sebastian's bag.

"Yeah, I'll just crash with Ominis," he smiled. "Talk later?"

"Yeah," Em-Sea promised and she and Eleazar saw him leave through the front door before apparating away. "You suck."

"From what I saw, you suck," Eleazar chuckled, shaking his head.

"Ugh!" Em-Sea turned on her heel and proceeded to her room.

"If you show me a month's worth of the potion and a good wand work of the spell I promise I won't tease you," Eleazar called, "too much," he added.

"I'm moving out!" She replied dramatically. "You'll never see me again!"

"I certainly hope so!" Eleazar laughed, holding back laughing tears. "I already saw too much of you, Em-Sea! Way more than I expected to see. And of Sallow too. I'm so glad you're not my students anymore. Classes would've been so awkward!"

Em-Sea slammed the door shut, but Eleazar could hear her snort before the door closed behind her. She was not really mad. She was probably finishing business in there.

Still laughing, Eleazar turned to his room. He kinda missed being that age.

It was the crown prince who had always occupied the emperor’s seat, if only by proxy as he was said to be sickly according to the novel…

She knew who would be sitting on that damned massive chair. But as soon as she saw Tristan and Baobhan Sith by Morgan’s side-

She had a terrible hunch about a certain someone’s reaction.

Of course, of course. They wouldn’t invite the likes of him to the crown princess’ birthday party. Still, Morgan and her children should have known by now that nothing ever good comes out of angering him.

She cringed at the thought and decided to stay away from one of the people who would one-hundred-percent guarantee her death.

As fate would have it, the doors slammed wide open, the loud bang causing screams of shock and confusion to spread throughout the room.

Baobhan’s shriek was one that ripped through all of the noise, “M-Mother–!!! H-He’s carrying a–!!”

“A corpse.”

The uninvited guest cheerfully spoke as the dull thud of the body was accompanied by a wet noise, “Don’t tell me you’ve never heard of what happens to people at the end of their life, my little sister?”

“It is not!” They simultaneously said, like an old married couple.

Ritsuka puffed her cheeks before crossing her arms, “As if you don’t act like one with the greatest blacksmith in the kingdom.”

The way her face immediately heated up as she stuttered caused her to internally scream while spewing out excuses, “W-What the!? Muramasa!? That boomer!? Are you serious, Ritsuka!? Psh, as if! He lectures me way too much! I really really hate it! I also hate how he g-g-g-gets rid of his shirt off whenever it's scorching hot. Fuck, I hate him! AAAAA-”

And Ritsuka’s laugh caused her to finally shut up. “Cas, I never said anything about Muramasa.”

“Weren’t you paying attention, tomboy?” Castoria didn’t miss the way her friend’s hand was entwined against Ritsuka’s own.

With Oberon’s tongue sticking out and a finger against his cheek to pull a mocking face at her, she grabbed onto her sword with a battle cry to destroy his ass for pushing her into a beauty contest with Knocknarea and Bageko from last month. Ugh, she should rob him too while she’s at it.

Ritsuka had to admit that her experiences here were nothing compared to what she usually witnessed back home…being the center of a reverse harem novel world of all things…but her goals have not yet changed.

She will still do her best to find a way back home even if the chances of finding it seems kinda bleak. But with moments like this, underneath the sunlight with two of the people she cherished the most, she finds that she could forget about those thoughts for a while and be at peace with them.

On the topic of 'child' fandoms and rule 34: I always remember this story (read it on tumblr, so it might not be real) abt a dude who was planning to make a show on Disney. Right before they greenlight it, a Disney exec was like 'are you SURE abt this???' And the dude was like 'why lol' and then the exec showed him a bunch of Kim Possible porn and went 'cuz THIS is what's gonna happen to ur characters'

Moral of the story being: Porn of fandom (even the incredibly icky kind) is so prevalecent that big companies are aware of it and let it be bc it can't be stopped, so no, not one specific fandom has a 'bigger' issue regarding it over any other. 'Tis the internet, every fandom sucks if you focus on the bad part. Use that block button liberally, and become pals w like 3 ppl, it'll be much more enjoyable -💖🌟✨️💫

And YEAH this is literally what I always do XDD I get into a fandom, I meet people, interact, become friends with a bunch, get closer to like 3 or 5, and that's it.

Every fandom, every THING has its bad and dark sides. If you focus only on that, you'll miss all the good things that could also come with it. Gotta learn to enjoy things on your own accord instead of depending heavily on ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of what the fandom will throw at your face. Take all that through a filter and get only the 15% or 25% you'll actually enjoy and have fun with it!

Btw I remember a story like that too! But it was told by a comic artist at a con here. He said the company did something like that, showed him a bunch of nsfw arts and was like "THIS is what will happen, are you still willing to start?" And he said it was the best decision ever to start anyway because he got so many good things out of it, if he would focus only on the "oh no they'll draw porn of my characters" part, he wouldn't be where he is now. So YEAH, they do that XD

My first impression of them

I immediately loved his character design, and then ofc his opening line with Apollo made me think, "OH, DAS GAY!!" Just overall I had a good feeling about him from the get-go, and he turned into my favorite Ace Attorney character by the end of AJ.

5. My favorite ship of them

Sorry not sorry but I'm such a SLUT for Klapollo. Their dynamic is just so fascinating to me, how they have similar ideals and morals but TOTALLY different personalities and approaches. But recently I've also been having Klavquill on the brain (totally not me just putting two of my favorite characters together...nope...). I just think the idea of them interacting is funny and ripe with potential because, again, their personalities are SO different.

6. My least favorite ship of them

HMMMMMM I don't necessarily have a least favorite ship with him, I'm just so strongly a Klapollo monoshipper that I don't really pay attention to/think about shipping Klavier with anyone else (besides Simon, as mentioned above)

14. Best storyline they had

Turnabout Succession, man. Hundred percent. Klavier being faced with the fact that he unwittingly had a hand in destroying an innocent man's career, and realizing that he was just a pawn in his brother's game? And then standing up for what's right, regardless of his personal feelings in the matter? Fucking chef's kiss. I know I speak for a lot of people in saying I wish Capcom would have given us more Gavin family backstory. There's so much to be explored there, and I think it really speaks to Klavier's strength to be able to stand on the side of justice and convict his own brother.

15. Worst storyline they had

As much as I enjoyed Turnabout Academy, probably that one. Like, I enjoy the idea of Klavier being a guest lecturer at a law school and I LOVED that he got to help in the investigation, but I wanted more. There is so much going on here. There is a happy Flynn, a Flynn that wants to cook all his meals, he's taking suggestions but has already started something, that something is on fire - wait, he has water on fire?!, and Yuri knows he has made a mistake that he can never take back because he will not tell Flynn to stop.

Okay okay okay he can... salvage this. Somewhat. Remotely. Mildly. Possibly. If he's lucky. Which he's usually not.

So the first thing he does is sort through the seasonings until all that's left will match how the pork miso soup should end up tasting. If Flynn is still hiding something in that apron pocket, Yuri has decided he cannot possibly be responsible for it going that far.

They should probably have rice with the soup too... Flynn... Flynn can do that, right? He can make rice at least, right...? "Can you... get the rice? And work on cooking that? Then cut the pork thin when you're done? I'll get the vegetables." He is very resolute that he is getting the vegetables that will be going into this food. That way, even if Flynn cooks the vegetables into the soup, he can't decide on something wholly unfitting in the first place.

"You want the food to be really good, right? So wouldn't it be even better if we both made it?" God he feels so bad manipulating the situation like this, but god, his ways are limited...

So, what, he makes his food with love, so he said to everyone else once... and now he makes food with Flynn? So, what, he makes his food with love and Fly-- He's going to stop thinking about this now!

18. Do you have any larger projects you’d like to pursue? Like comics, shortfilm, a series etc?

Hell yeah! My dream is to pursue illustration full time (am currently taking a degree about it XD) and hopefully get a job where I can just... write and draw my own books. and publish them! That's one of my dreams!

If that does happen I would realy want to get to make children's books! And focus on mostly children stories. Mainly, about tradicional songs and folklore from my country!

But I would loveeee to do comics about more mature topics and my life.

My dream dream, however, is to turn my comic idea (That I've had flowing in my head for... years now) into a real thing.

I do have to say... Concept art is also constantly on my mind. Sometimes I think about starting doing animations and maybe also doing a degree for it but- I love all forms of art and wish I had the energy to work on all of them but alas~

Illustration is mostly my main goal, after all ^-^

23. Do you listen to music or watch shows while you work? If so, what’s your favourite?

Yup! I try not to listen to just music for the simple reason that. I get really into my work and forget putting new music- which leads to silence and my brain gets... really mean with silence.

So! normally I will have a playthrough going on in the background while I work. If I'm drawing something I'm not a hundred percent about I will re-watch things (like Markiplier's 3 scary games playlist. I have rewatched that... so many times.) cus then I can focus more on the drawing than the game, ya know?

My favorite youtubers for noise are Mark (his voice is... one of my main reasons, very soothing), Jack and Alanzoka (that man is so funny please... I try not to put him when it's late or I'll be weezing.)

I Can't really have series cus I'll just pay more attention to that XD. Sometimes I'll just have my siblings as white noise too... they're very noisy

As for music I listen pretty much to everything BUT! Nothing but Thieves, Novo Amor, Pomme, Kaleo, Grandson (and Billie Eilish I think?) are some of my fav artists and are the ones I listen the most! All diferent vibes for diferent energies.

okok so some thoughts (after writing this, I've realised there a lot of thoughts lolll, so be warned /lh):

when they first start, you see the Main Guys :333

i was. oh my goodness was it so sweet when they were panning through the guys, go to Finn (literally some of the first words he said were about made-up creatures, you were HUNDRED PERCENT right when you said that's his bit XDDD a-horse, b-horse, etc. etc. lolll- and the elusive crawfish :0..... wonder if Finn'll ever find one of those with the massive hole in the sea that totally won't happen because they're on their last mission) telling Drey (:DDD) about the weird random creatures (some which's names are. questionable and we will not address them again in this ramble), and then THEY PAN TO CHIP AND ARLINNNNNNN

GOODNESS ARE THEY SO GREAT

and then you have Lizzie (:000) and her MADDD hot dog eating skills, decimating Arlin and stealing the things in his empty pockets (pocket butter..... loll)

and Drey dee-stroying poor old Jug in the arm wrestling lolll-

and then. and then we see where chip gets his pranksterness from >:3 oh poor Finn, that was hilarious

then they got all reminiscent with the captain right after that, which was really nice and also really funny at how they DEFINITELY were not about to go into a massive hole in the sea, and that they were ABSOLUTELY safe until retirement

then the clouds start to rumble..... ooooo spooky..... then A TENTACLE CRASHES THROUGH THE SHIP WOAHHHH DD: and we meet the Yuckies :O

then they have this massive fight scene during which Finn is not tied to the boat, Captain gets dragged off very quickly, and Jug punches through a tentacle with his bare fists- The Part that made me tear up a little was when Chip was dragged off the ship and Arlin had to make the choice between him and Chip and bebo was like "Chip all the way" without hesitation

like my soul was not ready for how much Arlin cared for Chip (it was kinda funny that Bizly thought he was dying until Grizzly was like "no you're just falling into the water" lol)

then we see some Drey "Sureshot" Ferin ActionTM, some awesome Finn moves, and the Yuckies are done with pretty quickly (they were rolling so low it was so funny- it was like the dice knew what they had canonically just been doing, eg eating dozens of hot dogs in seconds and drinking spicy alcohol)

after all that's said and done and they're heading into the whirlpool, Finn peers over the edge to see if anything else is in the water.... and lo and behold..... the Elusive Crawfish :OOO

then he promptly hops on it, grabs Arlin with a nat 20 in strength from the crawfish, and proceeds to do a kickflip that makes Arlin lose his grip LOL

and then they descend and descend and descend..... spooky tentacles and spookier visions......

then! part 2 :3

they're in the big long hallway with a void for a roof, and Finn begins trotting his way down the thing lol- they reach the door and find a door, a door of which has an almond shape, a moon, and a sun, connected... and a riddle spelt out in somelanguagethaticantrememberlol that's like, "What has a head, a tail, but no legs?"

'twas a real stumper of a riddle, and it was rather unfortunate that they dropped the coins from the yuckies and were struggling to pick them up, accidentally putting them into a hole they won't come out of D:

luckily they solved the riddle and it was all good /silly

then they enter a really weird landscape that's sorta frozen in time, it's dark and grey and spooky booky, and Arlin punches Finn REALLY hard to see if it's a dream LOL- Finn gets knocked back and takes like 10 points off of a nat 20 to hit XD

they wander, and eventually come across a biggggg pyramid, which has a little staircase leading downwards that they can only fit single file down, so naturally Finn's first loll

as they walk down, the candles go out, Finn rolls a nat 20 wisdom save for a total of 26 when Grizzly calls for it, and he gets sent into a memory of when he was leaving his home 20 years before :0 he gives the little kid some research thingies, and discusses with good old Professor Something.... (wow i'm not good with names lol /lh); I'm pretty sure that memory goes pretty well 'cause of the 26 wisdom saving throw lol

then they continue with the candles back on, Finn warns the both of them that this might happen to them (smart thinking ^-^) and I think they also read some things in Abyssal variant of Celestial i think? I cannae remember lol- but then Arlin gets a memory as well, rolls a 6 total and wisdom save, and gets sent back to when little Chip was begging him to let him go, it was so sweet..... and then Chip grows up and stabs Arlin in the back all the way to the heart ._.

that was not fun

same process repeats for Drey, and for some reason Bizly asked to make his pocket butter canon, butter of which they put all over Drey while he was in the memory lol? very on-point for the jrwi guys ig- but Drey gets a memory of when he was first almost run over by the Black Rose Pirates (presumably while he was running away from the navy, judging by his lack of food and little boat), and the memory goes pretty well except for one thing I can't remember that happened? and also Finn was being so conveniently attacked by a shark that was just out of melee range, and Drey shot it, and then Finn went "I think there were only 2-...." which made me laugh lol

then they finally reach the bottom of the stairs where they find a bigggg circle room, and there is, woah, a door :000 a brass one, like in the visions :000 next to it is good old Captain Rose!!! ...except he starts turning into a yuckie, which was really sad and probably extremely traumatising for the whole crew :D

they fight him, he whips out some crazy Legendary moves on them, Finn does like 30 thunder damage, and Drey's finally the one to land the killing blow, after which he just sorta breaks down, which makes sense; poor Drey, and poor all of them- the line "Still a sureshot even when it's against my captain" or something like that was like. my guy. drey. i'm sorry. my soul weeps for you :(

then they go through the brass door, and find The Room full of treasures galore, and a spooky black egg that they all saw in the visions :D Finn starts documenting, and Drey jumps like 30 feet in the air and pounces on the egg lolll

they all tell Drey not to touch the egg, Drey does it anyways, and my soul weeps even more :'''D

the ending scene that Grizzly set where it was like "the whole eastern sea has been turned to black goop, except! for one mast >:3" implying that Chip is alive was fanTASTICCC

and that, dear ak, should be the most of my thoughts lol :3 I also wrote down a line that's like "Finn no! Finn yes!!" and I couldn't remember where it was from... so if you recognise that, i thought it was funny :>

Oh if VK enlists Pat to abduct him to prevent his wedding to the alpha BCCI chose for him, he's hundred percent telling Pat to ensure the abduction is really public, because even if it isn't forced, it has to look so, there has to be visual evidence, and nobody should suspect that VK was a willing participant in the whole chaos.

Cue Pat having to crash one of team India's training sessions, grab VK by the waist, toss him over his shoulder and run off, all the while being chased by VK's irate teammates, who actually also know of the plan, but have been instructed to give chase by VK, so the whole abduction really looks like one. 🤣🤣🤣

Side note: who do you think is the alpha BCCI wants VK to marry in this AU?

Oh thanks for tagging me, I also have SO MANY THOUGHT about Rosie! I one hundred percent agree with you analysis and am firmly aboard the rarepair hell that I wrote myself re shipping when it comes to Rosie/Lucifer XD I have to write an actual Rosie/Lucifer fic now because the ideas are bubbling away.

I think there is something very sweet about the potential dynamics of an Rosie/Lucifer ship in terms of the degree to which Lucifer is a big romantic at heart. While Rosie says romance is her specialty, I get a sense that she doesn't get to be the participant often in that sort of dynamic - she's always the one giving the advice. Plus clearly at least one of her previous relationships didn't go great given that killed her husband, so maybe she has a history of frankly terrible taste in men who don't treat her the way she deserves.

Then you have Lucifer, who as you say is deeply flawed but is also a genuinely earnest, good-intentioned person. It's clear that when he loves someone he'd do just about anything for them, and I can imagine him bringing that to any romantic relationship and knocking Rosie's socks off.

They'd also be a super interesting pairing if she was a sinner, because she is obviously very politically savvy and well connected - if anyone could help Lucifer get Hell in some sort of order it would be her, given how she managed to make Cannibal Town into such a peaceful pleasant place compared to the rest of Pride! (I also think that if someone took Lucifer to Cannibal Town it would have a huge impact on him, because it would be a tangible example of sinners doing something other than just being terrible, even if they do eat people).

I'm also super interested in the 'is Rosie hellborn or a sinner' debate mainly because I personally don't headcanon her as hellborn. I think the belief that she's hellborn dates back to when Faustisse (who used to be an illustrator for HH but left) said that Rosie never died, so everyone assumed that meant she couldn't be a sinner.

However it would seem odd if she was a hellborn overlord, since that role seems to be pretty firmly dominated by sinners and also she doesn't look like any sort of hellborn demon we've seen (unless all Cannibals are actually hellborn, which is a whole other can of worms!).

Like you said, canon can absolutely change so she might just be that she was initially intended to be a hellborn but they've changed her to be a sinner and what Fautisse said doesn't apply anymore.

However I think it's even more entertaining if there's something even weirder going on with how she ended up in Hell. I either think their were some serious shenanigans going on when she was a human that somehow landed her in Hell while still alive (heck, maybe she wandered through a portal that some succubi left open an d just decided to start eating demons and she just slowly morphed into a sinner without the death part).

Alternatively, I still think her neck ruffles look awfully like the exorcist angels' neck pattern so who knows - maybe she's secretly a fallen angel XD (which would certainly cast her providing advice to Charlie about her fallen angel girlfriend even more interesting).

i think it’s interesting how lucifer doesn’t give much thought to hell and its residents, esp the sinners ( who he thinks r all mistakes lol) and since rosie is a hellborn do you think that would decrease or increase a positive impression of her to lucifer ? i'm so excited you're asking me abt rosie & lucifer actually, bc @coppercrow's fic pin the blanket on the demon totally hooked me on their potential dynamic and i've been chewing on it ever since

so i don't actually know if rosie is hellborn as of the current canon of the show, because i know that seemed to be the consensus before s1 came out but things might've changed. assuming that she is hellborn, lucifer wouldn't immediately have the negative image in his head that he does of all sinners, even if the cannibalism thing... yuck... but she's so genuinely warm and charming in a way that wouldn't make his "fakeass ingratiating/politicking bullshit" alarms go off the way they probably did with mimzy. he'd also be more inclined to like her & be friendly with her because charlie likes her, and in fact charlie won't stop gushing about how helpful she's been, so there might be an element of gratitude too for rosie's support -- and it wouldn't tick him off like alastor's did, because alastor played up the whole dad thing on purpose to be a bitch but rosie was just honestly impressed with charlie!

also, i think lucifer has a weakness for kind, strongwilled women who take no shit, and watching rosie interact with alastor would both a) be gratifying to see alastor get fondly bullied and b) make him start to wonder if she'd drag him around like that, which, i think she would. if anyone would be charmed by the fact that he's a genuinely earnest, good-intentioned person underneath the veneer of desperate overcompensation & insecurity, it'd be rosie, who let's be honest probably loves to do charity work with hopelessly emotionally stunted men
