What you have to do to enter this raffle: REBLOG this post and…read the post ? XD You don’t  need to be a follower. (though follows are highly appreciated, of   course! <3) Just, again, please read the whole post. I don’t want people to ask me later to draw things that I’ve said below that I won’t draw.

How will I go about this:

I   will collect all the people who reblogged this post and list them.  Each  of the participants will have a number which will be later drawn  using  random.org

The art I offer for this raffle will be based on  fanfics. Meaning  that the winner gets to pick a story of their own to  which I will draw  fanart of. If said winner does not write, they are  free to pick their  favorite story that is written by a different  person. Even if you do  write, you can still pick a different person’s  story

I know some  fanfic writers out there really appreciate art  being based on their  stories, so I’ve decided to do this little thing!

For  those of you  who neither write nor read, that’s too bad. But I might  sometimes in  the future make a raffle that is not like the ones I’ve  usually held. So  keep your head up~ (yo, seriously, please read the  whole post if you really want to enter this raffle. I've said this before. I've masterminded alot of events on this blog. I sowed the seeds of this class 78 king's game from the beginning. Even the v3 one. Of course I would have a fuck ton of things I wanted to torment to.

Now for our Founders 

As I have mentioned before I tend to play/write with specific families I’ve had in my game since forever (or at least 2011) with so of course I was going to use my precious OC’s for this. Unfortunately I realized most of them are VERY, VERY related to each other at this point. So I had to dip into my newer stocks of sims to fill in some of this and avoid instant genetic wreathing.  So for each of my major families (the Rasks, Nova/Yager/Kent/Flake genetic block, Eagan/Weist/Rose block, etc.) I used a randomizer to choose one person from the current generation. The only exception is Izan, who is my son this generation is will probably be in everything until I grow tired of having him in everything.

Anyway here’s our lineup (note I have the five traits mod cause srsly this game should have done that by default. Under the cut because I am being lazy and using cas shots):

Ooh! Thanks for the ask. Ok, random.org dealt me Emile, Tarragon, Thistle, and Sey, so I'll answer in that order. (Links to drawings of them attached.) 2. Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind? Yes! Emile was 100% meant to be Marzanna's opposite. She's the funny little warm-colors jester to Marzanna's monochrome cool-colors depressed knight. Emile wears soft/loose clothing, while Marzanna's decked out in cold unfeeling black armor. And then of course there's the height difference. I wanted them to look and feel like a very unlikely duo, but if you spend any time around them as people you understand that this is how it was always going to be. Unfortunately, they're in love and would die for each other, and neither of them has told the other. 4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts? Tarragon is my FFXIV WoL and I've actually started playing recently, so I've been thinking about him a lot. I'm not very far in, but I've decided he used to be a pirate simply based on the fact that I love that Limsa culture is just barely managing to pretend not to be a bunch of pirate crews glued together into a city state. Tarragon is old enough to remember when that wasn't the case yet, and the times after when there was still dissent in response to the instatement of (gasp) actual laws? He left the pirate's life behind to go travel, but I do think it's funny that this makes him an unconventional Duskwight who inexplicably loves cities and the sun. Go figure. 12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC? So I actually haven't posted about Thistle anywhere yet, but I was delighted to answer this question for them. You see, I draw a lot of people. So there's just one problem: Thistle is a gun. Thistle (or their actual name, The Sensation of Being Scratched by Thorns) is my character in a game of GUN&SLINGER, where one person plays the slinger and the other plays the sentient gun. Thistle is an eldritch fey being trapped in the form of a magic gun against their will, which they are quite mad about. Now, I can draw a gun just fine (god knows I've drawn rifles for Leonore and Songbird several times) but Thistle's form is meant to be weirdly otherworldly and organic, like plants from from inside not-bone, and I've had a lot of trouble conveying that in a way that doesn't look overdesigned. 14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be? I've gotten very good at boiling Sey down to his core qualities. If I had to narrow it down to two, it would be:

angular (the build, the nose, the eye shape. the personality. the electricity theming. yep, this boy is made of triangles)

punchable (if he's not smug and full of himself and angry and all around a bastardly little guy is he even Sey? and yet despite his losing personality he is my favorite son.)

If you have those, that's Sey. If you don't, that may or may not be some other guy who looks like him.

This is A Storm of Words , the crawl for A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones ! Finally, the two are combined into one consistent narrative. Canonically. Absolutely. This crawl is divided roughly into seasons of the TV show.

There will, of course, be spoilers from all books and seasons.

If there’s demand for it, I’ll post more of these, based on the rest of the story. Subsequent parts of the crawl, when posted, will be linked in a reply comment to this post. Please don’t directly reply to the subcomment as it will prevent me from editing it

Your result from the first challenge will tell you which character you are. Only do the challenges associated with your character, unless you’re really bored!

Some challenges require dice; I recommend random.org 3 as a slightly less satisfying substitute.

Some challenges can be ‘failed’; failing a challenge provides you with a prompt that you must write into your next scene .

Prologue. You are on a ranging with the Night’s Watch, sent out to track nearby wildlings… but something has gone very wrong. Write for ten minutes while you hide in a tree, watching your comrades die.

If you wrote less than 200 words , you are a moody Northern bastard known as Jon Snow.

If you wrote between 201 and 400 words, you are a refugee princess called Daenerys Targaryen.

If you wrote more than 401 words , you are maligned highborn dwarf Tyrion Lannister.

Jon Snow

Your noble family is hosting the king’s entourage at dinner, but because you’re a bastard you’re not allowed to sit with them. Write 200 words in ten minutes to get the rage out of your system.

If Jon fails: the next scene you write should contain a dog, or characters talking about dogs.

You’ve made it to the Wall, but apparently you’re not allowed any adventure yet. “A man gets what he earns”; well, show your worth by making it to the next round thousand-word mark .

You’re named a steward, to your disappointment, but it does mean you’ll be working closely with the Old Bear himself. Show him you’re not afraid of hard work – roll a 6-sided die . Write at your own pace for five times as many minutes.

Jeor Mormont has brought you terrible news: your father has been executed as a traitor. You try to escape, but you barely make it to 500 words in half an hour before your comrades drag you back to Castle Black.

If Jon fails: the next scene you write should include a betrayal, or a reference to betrayal.

Daenerys Targaryen

You’re unlucky enough to be a thirteen-year-old girl whose creepy brother considers her a commodity to be traded for a crown. Do the Three Digit Challenge as you attempt to ignore his weird, weird comments.

Life’s not been kind to you so far, but you’re settling well into Dothraki culture and, even though you’re a woman, you’re commanding a lot more respect than your brother ever could. You’re even becoming fluent in the language: write 200 words in five minutes to show your command of the Dothraki tongue.

If Dany fails : the next scene you write should include a reference to a foreign language.

Your brother drunkenly threatens you and your unborn child, which is a problem for your husband. Write 1000 words in half an hour as you try to deal with what you just saw.

If Dany fails : kill a character, however minor, off in your next scene.

Things were looking up, but now you’ve suffered a miscarriage and had to perform a coup de grace on your sun-and-stars. However, only death can pay for life… write 100 words for each day in November so far.

Tyrion Lannister

You’re on a visit to the Wall, for largely urinary purposes. Your companion asks why you’re reading on the journey; perhaps a fifty-headed hydra will show them the benefit of a sharp mind. Attempt to write five hundred words in five minutes without ANY corrections or backspaces. Typos mandatory.

If Tyrion fails: the next scene you write should include books or reading.

Anticipating a nice rest, you’re instead accosted by a woman you’ve barely met and accused of trying to kill her son. It’s a long way to… wait, this isn’t the way to Winterfell! Talk your way out of execution by writing 2000 words in an hour.

If Tyrion fails: the next scene you write should include imprisonment or captivity, or a reference to these.

You’re finally allowed to leave the Vale, but you have to take the highroad. You’re ambushed by mountain clans, but perhaps you can win them over by writing until your word count is a palindrome (e.g. 31313, 5555, 929).

You join your father on the battlefield, bringing your army of clansmen with you. He agrees to reward them for saving you, but only on the condition that you write 1000 words in fifteen minutes! … oh, and lead the vanguard into a losing battle.

If Tyrion fails: the next scene you write should include an allusion to a family reunion.

It reminds me of Metamatical Themas by Douglas Hofstadter! There are some articles where he talks about a version of prisoner's dilemma, where there is a starting prize of 1 million dollars, and you can enter as many times as you want. And the final prize amount is 1m / total number of entries. So if you enter 10 times and I enter 1m times, then I'll probably win, but my prize will be like a dollar.

The solution proposed in the book was to estimate how many people were likely to enter, calculate the optimal total number of entries, and roll an RNG. I think you wanted 2 or 3 people to enter. Of course, the prize is highest when 1 person enters, but if we make that the goal, there's too much risk of getting bad luck with the RNG and having 0 entries, and then no one wins anything, which is an extremely bad outcome. Anyway, for example you might guess that about 1000 people will see the contest, and you want 2 people to submit entries, so each person rolls a 1000 sided dice, and submits 1 entry if they roll a 1 or a 2.

Anyway. For 60/40 poll, I used random.org to generate a random number between 1 and 10, and user that to decide how to vote. For dick-and-balls, I guessed that it should be 15% in each ball and 70% in the penis, and used the RNG.

I am truly in awe of the penis poll and the snail race (aiming to draw) and stuff like that. Not because Tumblr finally gave us polls and the first thing we did was use them as a medium for cooperative games that aren’t polls. But because they keep succeeding! The E poll aside (excused because I think a lot of the respondents didn’t understand the aim), these polls are really really good at getting the desired result.

Which is amazing when you think about it, because the respondents don’t see the result until they click. Until we participate, we don’t know how long the dick is! We don’t know how big the balls are! We have no idea which snail is ahead! We have to make a guess on what other users have done and behave accordingly. “Oh yeah, but there’s a lot of respondents, just using probability you can – ” do you know how much variation you get in probability? And yet every time I see those snails, they are NECK AND NECK. That penis always has appropriately sized balls that are approximately the same size, to within about 4% of the poll! You’d think everyone would play it safe and just make a dick, but no – people knew it needed balls, they made a guess as to whether other people were giving it balls, and the proportions worked out! It could’ve gone the other way; lots of people could’ve been like ‘oh I be no one is doing the balls’ and they could be massive balls with a micropenis. Or one testicle could’ve gotten all the attention by accident, and we could’ve had a single-ball cock on our hands. But respondents are predicting each others’ behaviour with amazing precision, giving us results far more precise than you’d expect from random generation over so many different polls! Those snails are at EXACTLY FIFTY PER CENT every time I see them!

Alright doing this color wheel thing, but it's featuring my characters! I just pick out all the characters I associate with that color and then hit up random.org to pick out a random one.

I have very few characters I would consider teal. Only 6. Of course this is only based on characters I have in my toyhouse. Surprisingly it didn't pick Feliks my ice dragon, but one of my Reploids from my Reploid AU, Kristal. He's obviously based off of Crystal Man, and has the ability to see through time.

Where Mary Marvel originally got her powers from; it is not the same as her brother, Billy, or Freddy Freeman.

While “grace” and “beauty” are nice, I think she’d have been better served with a dose of invulnerability.  Don’t be mistaken: she was invulnerable, but you wouldn’t know it to look at that list.

This was finally addressed very recently.  Mary lost her Shazam powers at the end of this year’s Lazarus Planet event.  However, because of her heroics and bravery, she was endowed with new powers by a cadre of goddesses, NOT the old wizard Shazam.

Mary’s new Shazam powers are:

S - Selene agility

H - Hippolyta strength

A - Artemis stamina

Z - Zephyrus flight

A - Aurora invulnerability

M - Minerva wisdom

Vote to decide which episode script will be released next! Any episode from season one can be chosen, and the script that wins will have illustrations that go along with it.

Votes will then be totaled up and the episode with the most votes will be posted!

Ask the Squad

Ask the squad a question and they will respond! You can ask a specific member of the squad a question, or you can ask the whole squad at once. The Squad includes: Kess, Speedy, Knox, Drums, Nitsani, Chigba, and the ottas (another member of the squad will answer for them, of course lol).

You can send pretty much anything! Only restriction is please don’t send questions that contain adult themes. But just about everything else is fair game! Don’t really have a question but just want to send the squad a general comment or show them a picture of your dog or something? Go for it, they’d love to see it! Lol

The squad will do their best to answer as many as possible! Some answers to the questions will be illustrated, while the rest will be written responses.

Alright doing this color wheel thing, but it's featuring my characters! I just pick out all the characters I associate with that color and then hit up random.org to pick out a random one.

Second was orange! I had 13 characters I associate with that color and surprisingly it picked Lyla! Lyla is my dear dragon girl who I adore. She is sassy and used to live in a circus. She's got strong magic and totally falls for the grumpy Jin.

Of course this art makes her seem more yellow because of her mane but I promise her body is all orange. XD
