OCTAMarch day 6: Hexapaq

This is Hexahedron, or Flora. They use she/they pronouns and she rules over Hexapaq. Hexapaq is well known for it’s gardens, and Flora normally does that for a living. Many elfons in Hexapaq also wear bright colours, because it’s kinda of a thing in Veetragoul to wear colourful stuff.

OCTAMarch days 16 and 17: Chaos and Glitch

Well, not very glitchy but I like it. I compressed the (honk) out of this image, by shirking the drawing and then bringing it back to normal size. It was kinda fun.

Also the character isn’t really OCTAHEDRON related, but meet Carnie Vale, my ENA oc! Yes, they have arcade carpet wings, and yes, they live in an arcade (well, half arcade and half costume design studio, the costume design studio thing is on the opposite end of the building. Yes, they live with the Puppeteer, no, they aren’t a couple.) They are also really tall, but I don’t think I captured that well.

OCTAMarch day 2: Glow! This guy is a wyvon, insectivorous, wyvern-like creatures with a glowing horn that are native to Octalop. They're based off of the Van Metre Visitor.

OCTAMarch day 30: Least Favourite level

Aggressive screeching IT’S FINALLY FINISHED

Not my best art, but it’ll work.

5-T/ Shi is probably my absolute enemy. It’s hard, there’s lot of things happening on screen and it’s kinda disorienting. And I’m scared of it so there’s that too. Also I know I left out the Jellon’s sound wave thingies, but I like how it came out.

OCTAMarch Day 12: Dodecas

And here’s the return of Dodeca, ruler of Dodecas! And they also got a redesign too! Here is it (pronouns are they/it) walking out of their library, reading a book. A book on what? I don’t know. They also have a lot of eyes for a Platonic solid, which usually don't even have eyes.

Also the sign says “library” in Veetragoulian (AKA made up language for Elfons and the like, will probably make the alphabet soon)

OCTAMarch day 31: Blank Space

And here’s Icosa! Ruler of Icosan, Higher being of the seas and a rather fierce Platonic Solid. She uses she/they pronouns. It’s unknown what truly happened between them and Octa, but it resulted in Octa’s death and disruption of the entirety of Veetragoul. That is, until a certain platform summoning human turned… object head (?) fell into Veetragoul.

Sadly I didn't finish day 30, but I hope you still enjoy this!

OCTAMarch day 29: Least Favourite enemy/ enemies

The reasons for these two are:

Jellon (slinky looking creature on left): Simple, they shoot those ring things in a pattern/ rhythm and there's normally more than one of the them in a room. They are absolute hell to deal with in 5-T, which is made worse when they are one of the few enemies that can't be killed. So 5-T suddenly turns OCTAHEDRON into a bullet hell game where you have to dodge a bunch of projectiles AND collect tetrahedrons and it is hard.

Greater papalon (blue and purple creature on right): They only appear in World 5/ Icosan, but they are pretty difficult to deal with. They, like their smaller cousins, can't be killed by platforms, but they can chase the player and LIFT the platforms made by the player. And they are pretty persistent, constantly ramming into the ceiling of the "solid"/ semi/ transparent platforms.

And yes, I did try to use a lineless style with this one.

OCTAMarch day 28: Favourite level

My favourite level is 3-5 (Labrys) because it's really fun spamming platforms and there's spints. Also tried using perspectives in this and I think it turned out okay

OCTAMarch day 8: Octahedron!

Just Octa landing from flying all over Octalop. He’s gonna a bit of a redesign from when I first drawn him in 2021 for Angeltober. Also wing drapes can also be used to signal where a Platonic solid rules.

OCTAMarch day 27: Favourite enemy

For me, it is spints! Those spinny guys looks absolutely beautiful but can be deadly since they can fire lasers once they ”scan” you. But they are pretty and colorful so I love them

This one might be obvious, but I absolutely LOVE Authority by Chipzel. So here’s Authority in their humanoid form. He uses he/they pronouns.

OCTAMarch day 25: Crossover

“Hey there! Wait, am I in the wrong place again?”

AKA a crossover time! I’ve been a fan of ENA by Joel G for maybe around a month? But I love that weird and wacky series that doesn’t really make much sense. So I tried to draw OCTAtag in that style, but with the “talk sprite” thing used in episodes 2,3 and possibly 4.

Just Monde and Tetra vibing and playing music. What are they playing?

And yes, Tetra’s the shortest out of all platonic solids, only being around 5 feet 7 inches tall.

OCTAMarch day 3: Bug!

So here’s are a sticker/ pin styled Koopit (yellow spider like creature), a pypon (teal dragonfly winged creature) and a pypoton (purple butterfly winged creature), and they all reminds me of bugs! Also bonus design that is lineart only under the cut

I know it doesn’t really looks like the style of OCTAHEDRON, but I still like how it came out.

Also the return of Surreal! One of the first ocs I posted on this blog!
