9) Do they empathize with non-sentient things (dolls, plants, books…)?

Orion: yes. more than he would like to. he suppresses these feelings most of the time and has gotten so good at pretending he doesn't have them that he sometimes even convinces himself.

Arvidus: uncomfortably so! they make him very aware of the bits of him that are inanimate and oopsie dysphoria moment,

Gilda: she often wonders if inanimate objects, if they were able to feel, would feel something similar to the hole in her own consciousness.

Minna: she talks about plants like they're fully sapient lol, she will have conversations with them sometimes and always gives her plant care advice like she's talking about a kid. other objects don't get quite the same treatment, but she cares a lot for her possessions!

14) Would they agree with the term ‘guilty pleasure’? Do they have any?

Cor: They will call the weirdest shit guilty pleasures. Will just be out here dusting and be like ah yes... my guilty pleasure... and others will be like what are you Talking About and he explains that when he first started learning to enjoy the small things in life, they almost felt guilty about it sometimes, so they started calling those things "guilty pleasures" to acknowledge that feeling in a bit of a silly way. nowadays, there's no guilt in the little joys, but the phrase has stuck for her!

Barnaby: They're the king of encouraging guilty pleasures! Though it's not something they seek for themselves, they absolutely know the power of such pleasures, and love to provide for others! don't worry about why ;3c

Lyric: He still feels guilty about most happiness. he's working on it

22) Do they like being called pet names? Do they call other people pet names? What’s their go-to?

Minna: Queen of pet names!! Will give a nickname to everyone she cares about unless they REALLY can't stand it! Even Lyric has gotten one, and he's notoriously grumpy when it comes to that stuff.

Mint: He lovesss calling his partners little pet names, especially in moments of intimacy. Barnaby and Averill are often showered in darlings, sweethearts, dearests, and more! He's also more than happy to see the gesture returned, especially when a pet name is unique to him.

Ty: remi is the only one he refers to with any sort of fond nickname, and only on rare occasions in private. she's also the only one allowed to do the same in return. if anyone else ever tries, they get a death glare and a verbal beatdown. (he calls her his moonlight and gets SO shy about it)
