Sybil Wolke - Alien, 20s, She/Her. Cunning, dry wit, impulsive, will kill you, bisexual. Thrust into leadership after 90% of her kind was killed, bearer of the curse (chosen from birth to be a messiah. She's handling it really well.) Sedge's sister.

Rin - Wolf, Adult, She/Her. Tough, kind, used to looking our for herself. Bastard child with a strained relationship with her dad, but knows how to swing a staff.

Neska - Wolf, 20s, He/Him. Gooey center with a tough outer shell. Was born to breed new gods and die a horrible violent death by said gods. Mama's boy, large build but frail health.

Ha Forte - "Catgirl" (alien), 30s, She/Her. Rough and tumble, but very short with most of her weight in her tail. Pansexual. Researcher on earth, unfortunately landed in rural Michigan. Something of a tinkerer.

Sophia - Lesser Gryphon, 50s, She/Her. Lesbian. Ornery, crotchety, and desperately lonely. Doesn't like to talk about her past much and prefers to be left alone. Has a soft spot for kids, though.

Harley "Happiness" Stermann - Star Entity, 20s, He/They. Pansexual. Egomaniac, paranoid, flashy, has done things he's not proud of. Has a strained relationship with the truth.

Maxim "Mania" Stermann - Star Entity, 20s, He/They. Pansexual. Even worse than Harley, but doesn't feel any shame about it. Stereotypical villain, loves violence and bloodshed. Can be tamed, but not recommended. Harley's brother.

So, the funny thing is that in RO.Bug there’s already a gag with the characters playing a DnD kind of game

Artun, as a proper human enthusiast, asked Neska, Berin, Lucas and Rasha to play a campaign with him. Lucas was very eager to accept the offer (bc he wants to impress him), as well as Berin and Neska, but Rasha wasn’t interested - so in her place Artun had to ask Sayta, as the campaign called for 4 players

At first Sayta was mocking the idea, as she saw it as another „human hipster thing”, but she changed her mind when she realised she can play as a huge, epic beetle - and Artun (the DM) hasn’t known peace ever since.

Sayta claims her character is Neutral Good, but considering all the havoc she’s causing, he’s actually Chaotic Neutral, just like Sayta irl (yes, she’s kind of an annoying player)

So, Sayta plays as a Barbarian Beetle, Neska as a Beetle Sorceress, Lucas as a Paladin Moth, and Berin as a Rogue Bee!

Neska and Berin have a bit where their characters have an ongoing Yuri Tension lol

Occasionally Lucas also DMs, so Artun gets to play the game himself.

Vethicha’sidic, usually just known as Sid; he’s a kobold rogue whose favourite con is blagging food and/or money from well-meaning strangers by pretending to be a dragonborn child. his name means ‘my hands’ in draconic. idk much about him yet honestly?? he’s an Ass though.

Loex, kobold warlock, The Girl With The Tragic Backstory. her clan got wiped out, leaving her as the sole survivor - which is terrible for kobolds, whose entire lives revolve around the safety of their fellows; it’s left her feeling permanently vulnerable and afraid, so much so she renamed herself ‘Loex’ which in draconic means ‘dead’. several unfortunate happenings later, she caught the attentions of the Raven Queen and struck a bargain; she now goes where her goddess wills her, and does her dang best. if the party - even just one member of the party - was consistently nice to her for long enough, she’d probably consider them family and would therefore 100% die for them if necessary. like, no big. no hesitation. i feel like she wouldn’t survive a whole campaign, tbh.

Echo Lloji, triton druid; she’s here she’s queer she’s incredibly excited about the fauna and flora of the surface world!! my god look at this thing it’s so soft!! i will protect it with my goddamn life. the pink spots are bioluminescent patches of skin that vary in intensity depending on mood - back home in the deepest depths of the ocean it was a communication aid; nowadays it’s just decoration. she’s the weird overenthusiastic biologist oc i always wanted, bless her

Neska Nospre, yuan-ti pureblood paladin; i don’t know who or what her god is and i don’t care, she’s a precious snerson, or snake person, with wild concepts about ‘morality’, thinks plants are super cool, and is legitimately fascinated by the arts. she and echo would get on like an absolute house on fire. actually, you know what? they’re my ocs, i do what i want, they’re girlfriends now. bam.

Pyrrhus Anastos, tiefling sorcerer; born to a family of phoenix sorcerers, literally frickin named ‘phoenix’ (pyrrhus = fire, anastos = resurrection)... and he’s a sea sorcerer. he can’t even stand it when it rains. god, what is this man doing as an adventurer? get this Anxiety Tiefling™ out of here and into a soft sweater somewhere warm. also: he uses enlarge/reduce to get his shoes on and off bc they are very tight and don’t have anything like a side zip bc they gotta be 100% waterproof and keep his toes dry. what a nerd.

Margaret Greengallow, bugbear rogue; got adopted by a human ranger when she was very young, and while the rest of the family wasn’t particularly ecstatic about it at first, they’ve warmed up some & she’s now the youngest Greengallows’ favourite cousin. she left home to go see the world, but bugbears aren’t a very welcome sight so she turned to mercenary work to get by - not that her family knows that. she doesn’t want to sully their good name with her misadventures as a rogue, so she introduces herself as Maarg and when she sends home whatever money she can spare, she tells ‘em she’s doing stuff like odd jobs and building work. she’s a huge softie, both literally and figuratively.
