it’s a little conversation between them about their pasts and their wrong doings and how they hide those bad moments even though they will always affect them

Adam can’t get over his best friends death that was preventable. If only he acted sooner, said something, did better. He wouldn’t be in this mess. Maybe the burns on his hands are a punishment, a reminder, the blood he should’ve shed. He never gotten that close to anyone else again. His family wasn’t there, he moved to a whole new continent without a say in things. His friend wasn’t there, he died right in front of him.

Jailynn will always relive her ‘glory days’. The days of creation and godliness. Her days of abandoning anything they didn’t fit her view perfectly. She hates the dreams of watching her lover getting nearly killed and later disabled because of her actions. She sometimes regrets giving up her powers as a creator, but pushing the intrusive thought away as soon as she sees her spouse because nothing could give her a better life. She looks at Adam, a son to her. She looks at Italic, a careful and joy filled soul.

Ceia: they see both Adam and Italic as pawns, playthings. he also has a crush on another creator, Jailynn.

Adam: Despises Ceia for his life and storyline. Blamed Italic for some time, then empathized with them. He knows of Jailynn but hasn't said anything to confirm that.

Jailynn: She sees Italic and Adam as valued lives, but not as people. Like a precious heirloom. She enjoys Ceias company but does not trust them.
