I actually really like how you wrote missy as friend of lucas in go get your hart!Everyone makes her out to be the villain in fics cause that's what she was in the show but I feel like she actually has potential to be more than just the antagonist as the show progresses.

Why Missy Bradford Is a Rock and Roll Character and Should Be On GMW Always

Thank you Nonnie! I’m glad you like how I write her, especially because the way I write her is generally mostly self-indulgent because I like her, lol. 

I actually genuinely liked the character when she came in? Like she was all sass, and confidence, and drive, like, what other girl in the seventh grade finds a boy that she likes and then just pursues him like that? Without being nervous or insecure or questioning anything, like she’s amazing to me. 

Also, Missy is super clever? (The whole food fight thing?) And she takes charge! (pulling Lucas over to her table) And she’s both confident and comfortable in her body (showing her leg, flirting openly with Lucas, telling both Riley and Maya unashamedly that she was pursuing Lucas) like????? What’s not to love?

And the show made her out to be an antagonist but I feel like Riley and Maya and any other girl watching the show should kind of admire her? I mean that’s the kind of confidence that we should all strive to have, the same amount of comfort in our bodies too! It’s impressive that she has that at such a young age, and makes it look so effortless to like what? I have no doubt in my mind that when Missy Bradford is older she will be a badass, like a CEO or a lawyer or a TV personality, she’s great.

Missy might be ‘scary’ to some guys, but that’s because they can’t handle the awesomeness. 

So yes, Nonnie, to Missy being portrayed as anything but an antagonist! I want Missy going on dates, and giving Riley boy advice, and flirting with Farkle for fun, I want Missy Bradford and I want her now Nonnie, and I hope to the heavens that this show does her justice! Thank you for this super fun comment Nonnie, I had a lot of fun answering it, and you were great to ask it!
