OC art dump: Ama’Thok’s avatars

Ama’Thok is considered a deity of Si’Roth, being the Goddess of Terror and Nightmares. But in reality, she also holds command over areas outside of Si’Roth, so to keep watch over those areas, she had created avatars with varying degrees of connection to her to serve as her eyes. Some are aware of their connection to Ama’Thok, some are not.

Mastema is one of the founders of the city of Obsterkallen, a place considered to be the hub of everything related to the Schism. Unlike the other avatars, Mastema is not independent of Ama’Thok, instead is just another face for the goddess to wear for situations where showing her unsightly true form to mortals is very ill advised.

Ikl is known to be the lone survivor of a raid of a Fenris wendigo base. Hidden underneath the wreckage, the little girl watched her family and friends perish to gunfire. While she remained physically unscathed, her psyche was anything but. Ikl now remains in the ruins of her home, aggressively defending it from trespassers with makeshift weaponry.

Ninox is another survivor, this time of a whole race. Ninox is a Grallistrix harpy, a race long considered to be extinct, and seeing as how things work in the Schism, the rest of the harpy races are in danger as well. As a result, Ninox had took it upon herself to catalogue and intensely study any remaining bastions of harpy civilizations. She is fanatical in her work, thorough and detailed, to the point that she refuses to speak to any other harpies out of fear of disturbing their natural balance and way of life.

Nokomis is a Cervid wendigo, and a very close friend to the royal family. Nokomis acted as the current Queen’s mother after the previous one had died during childbirth. Having raised the child by herself (the father/king having fallen to depression), taught her everything she knew, and watched her with pride be appointed as the new Queen decades later, it crushed her heart to learn of the Queen’s exile due to negotiating with trespassers. Unwilling to never see her beloved ‘child’ ever again, she set off to look for the erstwhile royal, no matter the cost.

Chelsea is a young student of Pendleton High... or so she believes. Much like the other avatars, she never had a true past. She was made as is, whole and capable, yet possesses memories and experiences that tell her that she was an ordinary teenage student who have went through everything any other teenager would’ve. As a result, after the massacre of Pendleton High, she joined the vigilante clan the “Wolves of Pendleton” to enact vengeance upon those who committed such evil. What she’s not prepared for, though, is to know the truth behind her whole existence, being literally everything she ever knew was just a lie.

Oneida is an Ursi wendigo, a member of a clan of fellow Ursi rebels who also run a drug cartel. Typical of her people, Oneida possesses a very short fuse, a very destructive payload, and intense sadism to go with it. She is loyal to their leader, Marcos, and would go through great lengths just to please him and make sure to not get his ire.
