etta is so special to me omg.

CT-3774, part of the domino squad, she becomes an ARC in the 501st, her armour is very customised and shaped by her experiences — a star motif covers her chest, as well as her helmet, knee plates and gauntlet plates, and she writes the CT numbers of her fallen brothers in red paint so she can carry them with her, and to serve as a reminder of the fragility of her position as a solider. this is how her armour looks towards the end of the war, though some of the brothers she carries with her might not be as gone as she thinks they are...........

they're magical lesbian space cowgirls <3 well. more accurately they're bounty hunters. but anyways this is the main cast:

In this story, there's a super secret organization of bounty hunters that operate outside of the governments' jurisdiction. they kill people on the hush hush for others, politcal drama yadda yadda.

the actual bounty hunters (the ones who do the dirty work) are put onto teams made up of a pilot (the captain of sorts, the team leader if you will, and the one who physically pilots the main ship), a gunslinger (the fighter, the gunner, its pretty obvious what all that job entails), the wrangler (handles the H.O.R.S.3.s, the crew's functioning engineer), and the observer. now, you might be thinking "fran there's no observer on that relationship sheet" to which i say "hold your H.O.R.S.3s". In our main team, we have Olive (the "main character" in my mind as of rn), Inola, and Mary Anne. I don't want to spoil too much but uhhhh the polycule is in fucking shambles.

Each team is assigned an observer. Observers do exactly what their title suggests; they watch the team and how they function and relay information back to hq. If the team is struggling to get along to the point of it affecting their efficiency on jobs, the observer is required to tell HQ and HQ may do something to..eliminate the conflict.

Our main team's observer is Jo, a very tired woman in his early forties who wants nothing more than to quit his job and go live with the love of his life. He was a hunter when he was younger but now he craves a life of simplicity...alas he can't escape his duty..

Etta actually has nothing to do with the bounty hunters' organization. OR DO THEY? they're just a bartender on a planet that Jo frequents when he's in between jobs. OR ARE THEY?

Violet Gaius, she/her, poly Rumplestiltskin/Belle ship, Gugu Mbatha-Raw FC. Fairytale counterpart is Flora, of the three Good Fairies who helped out in Sleeping Beauty’s story. Unlike most fairies in the Enchanted Forest, she had her sisters were not born small with wings, but she wanted to get them out of their poor village, so she wound up making a deal with Rumple, who had a scheme to thwart Maleficent’s curse on baby Aurora and wanted to use the sisters as pawns, for them to become fairies as long as they gave gifts to the new little princess. Regina actually admired Flora’s ambition and determination and devotion to her sisters, enough to let them stay together when the Dark Curse hit. In Storybrooke, Violet runs a flower shop and often brings Mr. Gold complimentary bouquets for his shop, not quite understanding the pull she feels to him - until the curse is broken and she gets closer to both him and Belle. Very determined, strong, and protective over the people she loves, especially her sisters, but also has a wry sense of humour and isn’t afraid to be vulnerable. Definitely punches Cora in the face at one point, fed up with all the woman’s power-grabbing bullshit.

Fawn Gaius, she/her, Archie ship, Angel Coulby FC. Fairytale counterpart is Fauna, the middle sister and kindest of the Good Fairies. Was actually in love with a girl in the sisters’ village before they became fairies, and resented Flora for making the deal with Rumplestiltskin for a while, but eventually forgave her when the three sisters came together to help protect Aurora from Maleficent’s curse. Becomes the secretary at the sheriff’s station in Storybrooke, and becomes besties with Emma through helping her deal with a lot of sheriff stuff before the curse is broken. Has almost gotten together with Archie a few times over the years in Storybrooke before the curse reset their memories and put them back to square one, but they’re such a cute couple when they finally get to get together this time. Incredibly sweet and kind, would give the shirt off her back for anyone, but also has a surprising inner strength and won’t put up with bullshit. Is absolutely thrilled when Aurora finally makes her way to Storybrooke, because she’s missed the girl she and her sisters raised so much, and is an amazing wingwoman when it comes to getting the princess together with Mulan.

Raine Gaius, she/her, Killian ship, Kiersey Clemons FC. Fairytale counterpart is Merryweather, the youngest and most outspoken of the Good Fairies. Was incredibly excited to be a fairy when Violet first made the deal with Rumple, but wasn’t anticipating all the responsibilities that came with being one and didn’t like them, which often put her at odds with her oldest sister. Very proud of herself for coming up with the loophole to save Aurora from dying from Maleficent’s curse, not realizing Rumple sort of led her to it, and is definitely the “fun aunt” when the three of them are raising Aurora. In Storybrooke, lives with Violet and is mostly unemployed except for teaching art classes twice a week at the town hall, and somehow winds up getting sucked back into the Enchanted Forest with Snow and Emma after the curse is broken, where she meets and is immediately intrigued by Killian. Mostly a free spirit, chaotic and playful and takes very little seriously, but also has a great sense of duty to those she cares about and is very intelligent and resourceful. Regains some of her fairy magic while back in the Enchanted Forest and actually keeps it when she gets back to Storybrooke, which she’s incredibly happy about.

Tallulah “Tally” Birde, she/they, Henry ship, Jenna Ortega FC. Fairytale counterpart is the princess whose six brothers were turned into swans by their wicked stepmother and was tasked with remaining silent for six years while she sewed shirts of starflowers to turn them back. The curse struck before they could be finished, so in Storybrooke she becomes Tally, the mute kid living with their awful stepmother who’s always been mysteriously followed by six wild swans, and Henry’s only real friend before Emma comes because she likes listening to his stories and theories about who everyone in town really is. Finally manages to complete the shirts and turn their brothers back, after the curse is broken and she finds a way to get starflowers into Storybrooke, and is delighted when they can speak again because she gets to tell Henry they have a crush on him. Generally pretty withdrawn and socially awkward, due to not speaking for so long, but is also very strong and determined and even learns how to be charming when she can talk again. Actually becomes really close to Emma and Regina both over the course of all the adventures, and they couldn’t think of anyone better for their son.

Scarlett Rosewood, she/her, OC ship, Alexandra Breckenridge FC. Fairytale counterpart is Rose Red, Snow’s fraternal twin sister who ran away with her after the Huntsman was assigned to kill them and agreed to go their separate ways, after which she met a prince who had been turned into a bear by Rumplestiltskin and, after facing off against Rumple, helped to free him. They got married shortly before Snow and Charming, and never even got the chance to meet their niece before the Dark Curse hit and their memories of each other were erased. In Storybrooke, Rose becomes Scarlett, a cook at Granny’s diner since she loved to cook in the Enchanted Forest, and is so incredibly thrilled when the curse breaks and she finally remembers her husband and sister and gets to meet Emma. Has always been the less trusting and fiercer out of the sisters, incredibly protective of Snow and everyone else she loves, but also has a soft and sweet side and is very good with kids. Never has any kids with her husband, but is the greatest aunt to Snow and David’s kids and great-aunt to Henry.

Charles “Charlie” Dell, he/him, OC ship (Red’s husband), David Castañeda FC. Fairytale counterpart is a prince who, when his kingdom was on the verge of war, attempted to make a deal with Rumplestiltskin to make himself stronger, but was tricked and wound up turned into a bear instead. Freed by Rose Red and wound up falling in love with and marrying her, only to be sent to Storybrooke, where he became a carpenter with no memory of his family or his wife. Incredibly thrilled when the curse is lifted and everyone is reunited, and winds up becoming besties with David where they didn’t have the chance to be proper brothers-in-law before. What his father used to call “tenderhearted,” kind and loving and can be a little too trusting sometimes, but is still plenty strong and probably wouldn’t have needed to make a deal with Rumple to begin with. Doesn’t often get too involved in the danger and adventures that plague Storybrooke, but is more than content to just stand on the sidelines and cheer Red on while she kicks ass.

Kimiko “Kimi” Roth, she/her, OC ship, Lyrica Okano FC. Fairytale counterpart is Odile, the daughter of Rothbart, who cursed a young woman named Odette to change into a swan every evening after she refused to marry him. She was furious when the plan she shared with her father to trick Odette’s prince into marrying her instead failed, but was able to feel a short bit of satisfaction about it when the curse hit during their royal wedding. In Storybrooke, she helps out in her father’s thrift shop and lives under his harsh thumb while being drawn to the sweet pet shop owner down the street without really realizing why, until the curse is lifted and she’s able to kill her father and slowly realizes that she was in love with Odette, or Etta, even back in the Enchanted Forest. Has a quick temper and a sharp tongue, a bit vain and spoiled from being doted on by her father as long as she did his bidding, but really just very scared and traumatized underneath and wants to be loved. Discovers after the curse is lifted that she has the ability to turn into a vulture, so she loves going on flights with Etta when they can.

Etta Lake, she/her, OC ship (Kimi’s girlfriend), Virginia Gardner FC. Fairytale counterpart is Odette, a young lady who was stolen from her home and almost forced to marry Rothbart the sorcerer, and cursed to become a swan every evening when she refused. Fell in love with a sweet young prince and was about to be married to him when the curse hit and she was yanked into a different world, where she became the owner of a small pet shop with an impressive selection of birds. Has been flirting with Kimi for ages before the curse is broken and she remembers who she actually is, but they do eventually find their way back to each other and become a cute couple. The sunshine to Kimi’s hurricane, sweet and friendly and generous, but doesn’t trust as easily as people think and can be incredibly stubborn. Finds that she’s still able to turn into a swan, but at will now, after she remembers who she is, and loves going out for daily flights.

Harvey Baker, he/him, poly Emma/Regina ship, Jack Falahee FC. Fairytale counterpart was a simple baker in the village close to Snow and Charming’s castle, and remained one even when he came to our world, running the Baker’s Bakery in Storybrooke. Makes the only apple pastries Regina can stand eating and so she’s a frequent visitor to the bakery, and Harvey has had feelings for her for years until he remembers that she’s the reason he’s in Storybrooke and distances himself from her, after which he starts to become closer to Emma, though they do eventually all get together. Compassionate and helpful, always willing to give free baked goods to anyone who’s hungry, but can also be incredibly stubborn and doesn’t always trust easily. Basically has no part in any fights that go on in Storybrooke, because he’s got basically no fighting skills or magic, but he’s more than happy to cheer his girls on and keep everyone well-fed in between fights.

Virginia “Ginny” Steppe, she/her, Ruby ship, Vanessa Morgan FC. Fairytale counterpart is the daughter of the old cobbler who was helped time and again by elves, whose father became obsessed with proving that the elves existed and would come back after they were given clothes and went away. In Storybrooke, she’s the daughter of the town conspiracy nut who does her best with her mother to keep his shoe shop running and flirts with the cute waitress at Granny’s in her spare time, even if Ruby always pulls away whenever they start to get too close. It still takes them a while to get together after the curse is broken, but they do eventually become a really sweet couple. Incredibly charming, friendly, and playful, but also harbours a lot of insecurities and can tend to cling too tightly to the people around her. Starts spending wolfstimes with Ruby after the curse is lifted, to spend some time with her and help with her anxieties about it, and they eventually become the girls’ own little dates.

I've been doing some watercolours of my OCs recently, thought I'd share :) (I missed OC sunday with this my apologies)

some info under the cut :)

these are my OCs for a longfic I'm working on called shadows of kamino [previously known as 'the forgotten clones' if you were around for that] - the characters are all clones, made under different circumstances and for carrying out different purposes, and they may or may not be paired with 5 existing troopers (rex, fives, hunter, tech, crosshair - I wonder how obvious it is which ones go together lol). Etta is a soldier in the 501st, Indri works in the lab on Kamino, Minra is an assassin, Nyx is an enhanced soldier, and Tiyunne is a mechanic. There's a bit more to it than just that, but that's the basics :)

recently been trying to kinda figure out what defines 'my' style of art, I think I'm getting somewhere finally lol. It's nothin special but I'm figuring it out :)
