How many situagents are there? What makes them situational?

The number of situagents fluctuates at any given time, they're usually given temporary agent names! Here's a few of the common situagents :)

What makes them situational is they're not ALWAYS Agents- they're called in for specific missions that'll fit their skillset. For example, Chum (far left) isn't too fond of the splatoon, so they refuse to be an actual agent, and thus only get asked to come in and help when the situation at hand is going to require the gentle touch (re: violent maiming) of a Salmonling.

Situagents aren't just associates of the splatoon though, they Do listen to the captain when they're called in.
