Top three ships: ....okay im going to be completely honest here... I do not consider myself much of a shipper. YES I KNOW. I enjoy reading the romance, but nothing really has a chokehold on me the way it does others in fandom. I respect ships, I write ships, but nothing really *speaks* to me at the moment. But if you're going to FORCE my hand - Zevran x Tabris (Dragon Age), Dorian x Iron Bull (Dragon Age)... and then?? um I am a fan of OC fics in general so I read all sorts of Character x OC stuff.

Favorite color: emerald green, navy blue, mulled wine (yes i know it's more than one)

Last book: *stares straight into the camera* The Earl I Ruined by Scarlett Peckham. I'm trying to read some historical romances to help with one of my fics.

They came less often, but in days of high stress or pain, they came back as if to add onto it, and dealing with Nero and familial memories had been draining enough. Lily woke up on the floor, limbs twisted uncomfortably, a result from thrashing about in reaction to the horrors she'd been hit with. Tears slipped down her cheeks as she stood and rearranged her bed and she felt stupid for being weepy about her nightmare. Back when her dad and papa were around, she never had to feel bad about crying. They cuddled her, tucked her back in and promised to watch over her. But they're gone. Had been gone for 7 fucking years now, and she was an adult anyway! She didn't need her parents to baby her back to bed.

And yet thinking of them brought another sob. Her head hurts. Her heart hurts. No matter how many times she wiped at her face, the tears fell continuously. It wasn't fair, nothing was fair. Her parents should have been here, shouldn't have disappeared around the time she needed them the most. The worst part was she didn't even know if they'd gotten sick of her like Nero had when they were kids or if they'd died... That thought only made more tears fall and her head hurt more, feeling fuzzy... and the next thing she knew, she was standing outside a door. Vergil's door. With a shaky sigh, she knocked on the wood and waited. She didn't know if her mother was awake, but a part of her, a little voice in the back of her head, didn't care. She needed her mother. Despite this, she did indeed hear a gentle 'come in' from the other side of the door and she did not wait to enter. Closing the door with a soft click behind her, she raised her watery gaze to her mother's formidable form. Clad in navy blue satin pajamas and sat in a comfy-looking armchair with a book in hand, Vergil looked... almost soft. Domestic, one could joke. Not as intimidating as she normally looked in her normal clothes with her katana forever at her side. Speaking of, the Yamato was held on a stand on her mother's dresser. It almost made her laugh seeing it up there when she'd previously joked with her brother on whether their mom slept with the katana clutched to her side. "Is there something you need, Lilium?" Lily's gaze was drawn back to her mother as she spoke, the honey-sweet yet slighty rasped voice demanding both her attention and her demon's. Something about the way Vergil spoke even called to her demon's attention, as if it knew listening to mother was something it needed. "I..." a rasp of her own, brought on by the chokehold she felt around her throat from her crying. She sniffled, wiping at her cheeks again. It felt almost embarrassing to be so vulnerable in front of her mother. "Forgive me..." Lily was in front of Vergil in a flash of blue, not wanting to give her mother even the slightest chance of backing away when she needed her comfort, to be close to her. Climbing into her mother's lap, she turned and curled her body inward, a whimper escaping her throat. "Mama..." Lily's voice came out in a dual tone. It wasn't just her talking, but the demon too. If Vergil was surprised, she didn't show it. Warm, gentle arms wrapped around her and supported her, even adjusting her so they could both settle comfortably in the armchair. "Need you, mama..." she whispered, more tears falling. A pout rose when she heard a low chuckle, but it was quickly soothed away by Vergil's hand cupping her cheek. "You apologised for wanting to be close? Foolish child of mine..." Vergil murmured down to her, her thumb brushing over her daughter's wet cheek. "I... find it hard to express myself, to ask for any affection. But you need only ask this of me and I will give you what you need." A purr rumbled from them both, a reaction brought on by their instinctual feelings. Beside the purring, silence followed their exchange as they both revelled in their closeness. For a while at least.

A witch OC from May. I brushed her up a little.

Name: Phoenix Maki

Name meaning: Phoenix refers to the mythological bird that is reborn by being burned and rising from it’s own ashes. The name is Ancient Greek meaning “Dark red”. Maki is a Japanese surname meaning “Shepherd” or ��Tend Cattle”.

Age: 18

Birthday: July 22 1990

Family: Satsuki Maki (Father), Maria Josefa Dominguez (Mother), Hikari Maki (Paternal Uncle), Peyton Valentine (Aunt by Marriage)

Appearance: Phoenix is a young woman Japanese and Filipino descent, possessing hip length curly coal black hair, coffee brown eyes framed with thick, long eyelashes and medium skin that she tans. She stands 6’ and is rather athletic.

Phoenix dresses in loose, casual clothing. She has a large array of athletic wear as she often participates in lots of sports. Her hair is French braided when she does sports and when she’s not she leaves it down. Jewelry wise, she has a earring on her left ear that’s in the shape of a safety pin and a earring on her right ear that’s in the shape of a lyre, she also wears a choker with a black tourmaline pendant.

Personality: Phoenix is a passionate and creative person. A proud witch she tried to do no harm but people kept testing her so she does harm if people anger her. She has a tendency to be short-tempered and stubborn, being fired from her first job after she assaulted a patron.

Phoenix tends to be indecisive and often goes with the flow instead of coming up with a plan, as seen when she spent a solid 10 minutes figuring out if she wanted cheddar cheese or pepper jack for her sandwich. She’s highly competitive when it comes to sports striving to be Number 1 so she’s often seen drinking health drinks and performing spells that will benefit her.

Likes: Wrestling, Chirinabe, Miso soup, gardening, her big bedroom, snakes, jasmines, when she reaches her weight goal for wrestling, the sound of rain, money bowl spell

Abilities: Phoenix is a practicing witch who worships Apollo and Ares. She can cast spells and make potions and with the consent of her deities harness any of their abilities. Phoenix is often manipulating sunlight to help her plants grow or to have it constantly shine on someone she doesn’t like. She can cast curses with the help of her deities, seen when she suggest she can curse one of her classmates with the plague or when she says she’ll curse a male athlete to under-perform.

Besides her magic she has a major green thumb, making greenhouses out of old water jugs and having a mini garden of herbs in her room. She’s an athlete, participating in soccer, softball and wrestling, she has won championships in wrestling twice and three times in softball, while having to give up soccer because she kept hurting people. She speaks English, Japanese and Tagalog but the last one is only at a level where she can say a few words before giving up and speak English.

Phoenix is a pescatarian which can be easy since her parents are both from island nations so she knows how to make a lot of seafood dishes.

Background: Phoenix Maki was born on July 22 1990 to Satsuki Maki and Maria Josefa Dominguez. Satsuki and Maria broke up almost a year after Phoenix’s birth. Both struggled with money, Satsuki worked odd jobs while Maria joined the Navy.

Maria inadvertently abandoned Phoenix due to constant deployments but put 75% of her salary in a bank account for when Phoenix turned 13. Maria died when Phoenix was 12 after a commanding officer spiked Maria’s drink and Maria had a severe allergic reaction. Due to her parents never being married, Phoenix is the only one who receives a pension from the military and inherited all the money Maria had saved for her daughter.

Meanwhile Satsuki raised Phoenix while working 2 jobs to cover rent and essentials for him and Phoenix. He didn’t ask for help because he was too scared to ask but he did ask his older brother Hikari to care for Phoenix in case anything happened to him. When Phoenix was 5, Satsuki saw he had no food in his refrigerator so out of desperation Satsuki went out while Phoenix was asleep and decided to rob a house. The homeowner, an older man, tried to apprehend Satsuki but in the struggle, Satsuki pushed the homeowner and the old man tripped down the stairs, breaking his neck. Satsuki was arrested and charged with burglary and manslaughter totaling to 20 years in prison.

Phoenix was placed in the care of her Uncle Hikari, a beekeeper, and his wife Peyton Valentine, a music producer.

When she was 11 Phoenix became interested in witchcraft when she started collecting crystals. Hikari allowed Phoenix to practice after teaching her how to handle matches, lighters and blades.

At 13 Phoenix began to worship Apollo after he sent a flock of ravens to follow her. A year later she began to worship Ares after she started doing sports. Phoenix also began to see her father in prison by herself and would put $150 a month into his prison commissary account after seeing that he had lost a lot of weight.

When she was 16, Phoenix got a job as a waitress and three months into her job she put a patron in a chokehold after he smacked her backside. She was fired and decided that she would work with her uncle selling bee products. That same year Phoenix got her pet ball python she named William.

That’s about it. I don’t wanna drag it on with irrelevant stuff besides the basic stuff about her family and the fact that a sun god and a war god are living in her house.
