Ichijiku (Tigress)
“What color do you think we should paint the nursery?” I hum, looking through the different color swatches in the store. Three colors draw my eyes to their soft, comforting tones: mint green, dusty blue, and a lilac purple.
“You seem to be eying the purple. Do you want that one?” Shoto brushes his hand against my back. “It looks nice.”
“I’m leaning towards the lilac, but what do you think?”
He picks up the three shades and spends a minute looking between them. I can’t help the smile tickling my cheeks at his focused expression.
“Let’s take these three paint swatches home so we can get an idea of what it’ll look like on the walls.”
“Good idea.”
. . . . .
We make it home and sleep calls my name. One long shopping trip has always been enough to tucker me out anyway, but with a full child growing inside me? My bottom finds the couch instantly and I puff out a heavy sigh as I flop into the cushions.
“Do you need me to get you anything, love?” Shoto takes a seat beside me.
“I’m just tired, Frosted Flames.” I coo, stretching one hand to squeeze his as my eyelids flutter dangerously. “But I could use a peppermint tea if you don’t mind.”
“I don’t mind. I’ll get it started while I put away the groceries.” He gets up again and kisses my forehead. “Don’t try to get up and do anything. Let me take care of you.”
Of course, when I hear the bags shuffling even my desire to sleep can’t fight against my stubborn streak. Just the thought of Shoto having to put away everything and still have to make my tea makes me grunt and struggle to my feet.
I reach down for a bag, thinking he’s got all the heavy items, and wince when I wobble at the unexpected heaviness of the bag.
“Stop, you’re going to hurt yourself!” Shoto exclaims, catching me before I topple over into the table. After a breath, he cups my face. “I didn’t mean to get loud. You scared me.”
“Sorry. I hate seeing you have to do all the work.” I frown.
“I know, Tiger, but you have to be careful. If you overextend yourself, you don’t just hurt yourself now. You have others to look after.” He kisses my cheek and squeezes my hands. “Now, go rest and I’ll make your tea. Homura and Himari should be coming back from Mom and Dad’s within the hour.”
“Are you sure I can’t help a little?” I pout, letting my kitten eyes glow up at him.
“If you’re insistent upon helping, you can do the dishes. There’s only a few in the sink. Will that satiate you, troublemaker?” He chuckles, pinching my cheek.
“I think so.” I giggle, and head to the sink.
As I finish up the final few dishes, a flurry of white flashes outside the window showing the outside. I lift my head up and gasp, drying my hands and tapping Shoto’s side.
“Shoto-kun, look!”
He comes up behind me and his head thunks on my shoulder as he looks with me, his hands coming up around my waist and resting on the sides of my belly. At first, I think he’s missed it, but then I hear his breathing stop.
“Is that a rabbit family in our backyard?”
“There’s been one that I’ve seen off and on in the garden, but I didn’t realize she had a whole family!” I coo happily as the furry critters scamper under the rosebush.
“Looks like we’re not the only growing family here.” Shoto smiles and nudges me. “Now, come on. I’ve got your tea ready. You go rest while I finish the groceries and take a nap if you want to.”
I’m halfway through my mug of tea before I’m passed out on the couch.
. . . . .
“Daddy! Daddy! Look what–”
“Shh, Mommy’s asleep, Homura.”
“Oops.”
“How has Ichijiku been doing with the pregnancy, Shoto? No complications?” Mom's voice pulls me towards consciousness, though I keep my eyes closed and my breathing steady.
“No complications, just restless like she was last time.” Shoto explains.
“Daddy, we played Rescue with Grandpa and Grandma let us help her make dinner, like Mommy.” Himari’s voice chirps softly. “Can we visit them tomorrow, too?”
“Well, we’ll see.” Shoto chuckles.
“You know we’re more than willing to watch over them as often as you need.” Dad’s voice, always deep and stern, is surprisingly soft. I have a feeling he appreciates us giving him time with his grandkids. Natsuo’s been pretty adamant about distancing himself. “Especially since she’s in the 32nd week.”
“I know. We appreciate it, Father.” Shoto assures him. “Though the girls like helping Ichan around with things she still has trouble with. Don’t you, girls?”
“Yes, sir!” They chime in unison.
A smile forces itself on my face, so I open my eyes and yawn. I stroke my belly absently as two little girls with their father’s blue eyes barrel in my direction.
“Mommy! You’re awake!” Homura is quick to crawl into the little hole on the couch behind my back, and Himari squeezes herself in there too. Both of them rest their head on my arm and look at me. “Grandma let us help her cook like you do!”
“Is that so?” I grin, reaching up to boop each of their noses. “What did you make, little loves?”
They turn to Mom, who laughs.
“Vegetable tempura.”
“She helped me cut the kabocha!” Himari beams.
“And I got to mix the sauce!” Homura puffs out her chest. “And then before that, Grandpa let us play Rescue!”
“Really? Who did you rescue?”
“Grandpa!”
“He needed help being saved from a fire!”
“Yeah.” Himari tries to whisper, but there’s no doubt the whole house hears her. “It was make-believe, Mommy. Grandpa don’t get hurt by fire.”
“Oh, okay.” I whisper in much the same manner. “I gotcha. You were very brave for helping him, anyway.”
“You really think so?”
“I don’t think, I know!”
A little more conversation and I do my typical workout of heaving myself off the couch. Of course, Himari and Homura help push and pull to make the effort easier. Then I waddle over to give the in-laws a hug before stealing a kiss from Shoto.
“We appreciate everything you both do to help.” I reiterate, yawning once more for good measure as I head into the kitchen. Although I’m aching to feed my sweet tooth with M&Ms or chocolate-covered pretzels, my body craves fruit in this third trimester.
I pull out a few bananas and start slicing them as Shoto waves Mom and Dad out the door.
“You make your fruit, I’ll get the girls’ ready for bed.” Shoto suggests, nodding towards the girls. “C’mon, girls. Let’s go brush our teeth and put on our pj’s.”
“Aww!” Himari huffs.
“Can’t we stay up a little longer?” Homura begs.
“Not tonight. You have school tomorrow.” He picks them both up and hugs them against his chest. “But I’ll tell you what. If you do well with your bedtime for the rest of the week, maybe I’ll talk with Grandma and Grandpa about spending the night this weekend.”
“Okay!”
When he sets them down this time, two sets of footsteps tear down the hall towards the bathroom. I pop a few slices of banana in my mouth as I shake my head with amusement. I love them so much.
The girls head towards me for bedtime hugs and kisses when I feel it. I wince after I pull back and hold my stomach as Shoto leads them to bed. Shoto’s voice carries down the hall as he reads to the girls while I finish my snack. About ten minutes later, I’m walking down the hall to join him when another sharp, cramping pain crackles through my back and abdomen.
“Ichan?” Shoto’s at my side in a moment. “Are you okay?”
“I should be fine for a bit longer.” I assure him, breathing deep and steady. “But you might want to call the parents to come back and watch the girls for tonight. I have a feeling…”
“Is it already that time?” Shoto’s eyes widen.
I think so.”
Car lights signal Mom and Dad’s return when my water breaks. Talk about timing. I grip the kitchen counter and swallow thickly. Time flickers by in a blur as my sole focus suddenly becomes the steady ebb and flow of pain as three little boys plan to make their debut.
“It’s gonna be okay, Ichan. We’re almost there.” Shoto reassures me as he helps me through the hospital doors.
One moment I’m in a wheelchair and the next I’m squeezing Shoto’s hand so hard I swear I feel his bones creaking. It’s 7 hours of remembering to breathe and Shoto’s whispered encouragement and doctors and nurses and pushing until a cry cuts through the room.
For all that work through 7 hours, his brother comes three minutes later, and their youngest brother makes his debut in another four. The symphony of three wailing babies graces my ears and prompts me to relax. My eyes lock in on three little bodies with limbs flailing before I search for Shoto.
“They’re here, they’re here.” Shoto whispers, wiping the hair out of my face and caressing my cheek before kissing me. “You did wonderful, love. They’re going to clean them off so we can hold them.” He promises.
Three bundled blankets with three heads of red peach fuzz return to us and tears glitter in my eyes as Shoto and I go to each boy in turn, giving them their fair share of love.
“We’ve got our work cut out for us.” Shoto smiles at me.
“For sure. But the first task is to pick names.”
“I know you had a few in mind.”
“I do.” I agree, thinking over the list I’ve been filing through in my mind. I look at the three little faces looking back up at me and it suddenly seems so clear. “Eiji, Enji, and Emiko.”
It doesn’t surprise me that Shoto snaps his head to me.
“Enji?”
“I know you’re still working on your relationship with him, but they’re my three little boys. My three little protectors. It seems only fitting.” I explain, eyes fluttering as my body winds down from the effort and adrenaline. “Eiji is a name meant for protection through peace and prosperity. Enji, of course, your father has shown he’s capable of protecting the masses. And Emiko is meant for protection through smiles and joy.”
“You’ve put a lot of thought into this, haven’t you?”
“I learned from Himari and Homura that so long as I have a collection of names to pick from…their names will usually come to me after they’re born.”
Shoto looks at our three boys for a moment, then looks back at me, much softer.
“Our three little protectors…I like that.”

𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐩𝐭. 𝟏𝟐
A descendant of a legendary quirk longs to separate herself from her family name, but first she'll have to confront villains, ghosts from the past, and her growing attraction for Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight.
Pairing: Katsuki Bakugou x OP!fem!oc
Warnings: mature language
series masterlist + my masterlist
Today's going to be a great day.
The day of the world famous Sports Festival had finally arrived. The class of 1-A was tucked in a room below the stadium, waiting for the opening ceremony to begin. Some sat and fidgeted nervously, while others joked and laughed like it was any other day. Sana was somewhere in the middle. She was nervous, yes, but not about the competition. She was more confident in her abilities than ever after the intense training regimen she made with Bakugou. The Sun was out, and there wasn't a cloud in sight, so she didn't have to worry about conserving her energy.
No, she was worried about something else.
Her father.
Umi had stopped her on her way out that morning to inform her that Yoichi would be attending the event. It wasn't a surprise, really, only an inconvenience for them both. Her father droned on and on about how heroes were nothing more than attention seekers and how her dreams were meaningless and a waste of time and resources, but he had to keep up the appearance of doting father for everyone watching.
Just like someone else she knew.
Her eyes flickered over to Shoto, who looked even more self-isolated than usual. She was sure it had to do with the fact that Endeavor would also be making an appearance. The Pro had a knack for making his children as miserable as possible and special days like today were no exception. If anything, he'll probably be more irritating and overbearing than usual. Yippee.
She longed to embrace Shoto, squeeze his hand and assure him that everything would be fine, that they would get through this day together. But she had a feeling that if she tried to approach him now, given the stressful situation and tension still between them, it would only worsen the half-and-half boy's already foul mood.
She feared that if she upset him further, he'd say something he could never take back. Something that would end their friendship for good and shatter her already battered heart.
Sana felt someone watching her.
She forced herself to look away from her former friend, only to lock eyes with Bakugou. He was leaning on the wall with his arms crossed.  He looked like he'd just downed a bag of lemons, though she wasn't sure what she'd done to piss him off this time. She hadn't even spoken to him since the day before, when he'd made a surprise appearance at her house.
She arched her brow in question.
He huffed, his expression unreadable as he turned away. Boys, she sighed with a shake of her head. Why do they have to be so complicated?
"Midoriya." The familiar voice pulled her attention back to Shoto once more. The greenette looked startled as he turned to face the dual-haired boy. The room fell silent, all eyes now on the two boys.
"Todoroki," he squeaked. Sana hoped Shoto wouldn't be too hard on the poor boy. He was practically trembling under the taller boy's predatory gaze, and the Festival hadn't even started yet. "What is it?"
The dual-haired boy before them was angry. So angry, in fact, that he'd almost appear indifferent to anyone who didn't know him. His expression was apathetic and as harsh as an Arctic tundra, but she knew from personal experience that a raging fire was currently rampaging through his body.
"Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you."
"Huh?" The freckled boy rubbed his neck, clearly unsure of how to respond to such a bold statement. "Uh, yeah..."
Sana frowned at the unlikely pair. She knew it was petty and selfish of her to think, but if the red-and-white haired boy was going to address anyone in the room right now... shouldn't it be her? His best friend? His confidante? She knew exactly how he was feeling right now. She was in the same boat with her father present. Except, unlike him, she wasn't lashing out under the burden of her fear and anxiey.
Was he challenging him? If so, why not challenge her as well? They'd been rivals their entire lives! In the training exercise at the start of the term, he'd criticized her for not being on his level. But hadn't she proved herself more than capable that same day? She'd shown him just how far she'd come without him. Was she wrong to think that he would notice or care?
Sana clenched her fists, feeling her palms heating up. Her jaw clenched painfully as her eyes burned with the ferocity of a thousand Suns.
It was so frustrating. Why couldn't he call a truce in their cold war for one day? Surely they were mature enough to put their differences aside for a few hours to come together and hold each other up? Why couldn't they just talk and work through whatever was bothering him?
What made Midoriya so special?
She hated thinking that way, but a part of her didn't care anymore. She'd been vying for Shoto's attention for a year now, bending over backwards to try and win her friend back. As far as she knew, she hadn't done anything wrong in the first place, but she'd apologize until she was blue in the face for whatever wrongs she'd apparently committed. They'd gone through too much together, meant too much to each other, to throw their friendship away over... what? She didn't even know!
But she was done crying over him. She was done crawling after him and pleading for mercy.
The dual-haired boy continued. "But... All Might has his eye on you, doesn't he?" Sana raised a brow at that. She'd noticed the hero's interest in her classmate, but had assumed like most of her classmates that it was simply because they both had strength quirks and dismissed the thought. Did Shoto know something the rest of them didn't?
Midoriya certainly looked spooked. Maybe he's on to something after all... "I'm not trying to pry about that," Todoroki stated, Midoriya too shocked to respond. I am, Sana argued.
"But I am going to beat you."
Kaminari, trying to lighten the mood, inserted himself in their public, yet somewhat private, conversation.
"Oh?" He wiggled his eyebrows, throwing a loose arm around each of their shoulders. "Is the best in class making a declaration of war?" He laughed. Shoto shrugged him off roughly, his heterochromic eyes laser-focused on Midoriya.
"Hey, hey, hey! Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?" Kirishima stepped in, ever the peacemaker. He put some space between the two boys, hoping to break up the tension.
However, Shoto was in a worse mood than she'd thought.
"We're not here to play at being friends." She felt his slice her like a knife. A rush of air left her lips as he finally looked at her for the first time since that day in the infirmary. He might as well have been looking through her. "So what does it matter?"
Her throat tightened, feeling the unwelcome prick of tears she'd never allow to fall. But she held her head high, meeting his gaze head on. She refused to shed another tear over him. If he wanted to be angry, that's fine.
She can be angry, too.
Midoriya stepped forward. "Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me, but of course you're better than me." He shrugged helplessly. "I think you're more capable than most people." The greenette's meek voice slowly gained confidence as he spoke of the other courses and how everyone would be aiming for the top, himself included.
The class fell into silence once more, not even Mina or Denki daring to say anything. Thankfully, it wasn't long after that they were told it was time to line up outside.
As Sana moved to leave the waiting room, a calloused hand gripped the back of her shirt and held her back. The sweet scent of caramel and woodsy cologne washed over her.
"Yes?" She asked, not bothering to turn around. Bakugou, never one to be ignored, spun her to face him.
"You're acting weirder than usual." He pointed out with narrowed eyes. "Is it your shitty quirk?" Sana wondered if he was genuinely concerned and hiding it, or just worried that she wouldn't give it her all in the tournament. Either way, she appreciated the sentiment. It meant that on some level, he actually cared.
The strawberry blonde sighed, her entire body feeling weighed down as though her bones had turned to lead. Bakugou's hold on her collar was probably the only thing keeping her upright in that moment. She'd trained so hard... but she hadn't anticipated the emotional strain of today. Not only did she have to deal with a pissed off Todoroki and her own fucked up feelings, but now their fathers have thrown themselves into the mix. Fan-fucking-tastic.
"Not this time." She didn't elaborate, and for once, the ash blonde didn't push her for a better answer. Smart boy.
"What?" He cocked his head, a half smirk on his face. "You mad Icy Hot didn't challenge you?"
"If I recall correctly," she smiled sardonically. "He didn't challenge you either." His eye twitched in annoyance, his mouth twisting into a snarl.
"What you said yesterday... did you mean it?" He almost sounded normal, which was incredibly rare for Bakugou. So, in true Sana fashion, she had to tease him about it. She figured they both could use a sense of normalcy before all Hell broke loose in the stadium.
She tilted her head to the side to appear clueless, tapping her chin.
"I dunno. What did I say yesterday?" The blonde grit his teeth, his pale eyebrows nearly touching from how furrowed they were. But all the peach-haired girl could focus on was the color quickly rising in his cheeks. From rage or being flustered, she didn't really know or care, so long as she was the reason for it.
"You know damn well what I'm talking about!"
Bright and early that morning, Umi rushed to answer the door before whoever was on the other side splintered the wood under their booming fists. The front door opened to reveal a scowling ash blonde dressed head to toe in black. He clenched a bouquet of flowers in one hand, the other hanging in the air between them, ready to beat the door into submission. His scowl darkened at the sight of the older woman, his bright eyes narrowing into slits.
"Who the hell are you?"
Umi plastered on the polite smile she saved for unsavory guests at dinner parties or for Yoichi Sakano on the rare occasion he was home. "I could ask you the same, young man."
The blonde clicked his tongue. "The name's Bakugou. Where's Flashlight?" Umi was convinced the blonde had a few screws loose and opened her mouth to run him off when-
"Who the hell is pounding on the door so early?" Sana whined, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she shuffled down the stairs. She nearly missed a step after spotting the figure in her doorway. The strawberry blonde paled, suddenly aware of how underdressed she was. She was wearing a silky blue pajama set decorated with white bunnies, matching fuzzy blue slippers, and her hair hadn't been brushed yet.
Oh, shit.
She quickly ran her fingers through her messy locks, trying to style it as she hastily descended down the stairs. She slipped past Umi to join the blonde on the porch, pulling the door closed behind them... but not before catching the confused and curious eye of her housekeeper. She would hear about this later. There was no doubt about that.
"What are you doing here?"
Bakugou glanced away, the veins in his neck straining. He practically threw the roses at her. She rushed to catch the bouquet before it fell to the ground. "Geez."
"For last night," he mumbled, shoving his now free hands into his pockets. "I was an asshole."
"...only last night?" Sana jested, lips curling into her usual Chessire grin. His own mouth softened into a lopsided smirk, his sharp canine poking out.
Out of all the impressively exaggerated facial expressions he was capable of making, this was by far her favorite: relaxed and carefree. Bakugou allowing himself to openly express his feelings (the positive kind, not just anger and hostility) was a rare and beautiful thing to witness.
"Shut up, freak." He said without his usual bite.
She giggled, bringing the stargazer lilies up to her nose and inhaling deeply. They were her favorite flower... not that he could've possibly known that. They were wonderfully vibrant, the various shades of pink and orange highlights reminding her of her own unique coloring. Even the ribbon wrapped around the stems was nearly identical to the one she used to tie her hair back in training. The thought made butterflies erupt in her stomach. He had to have noticed, too. Bakugou is annoyingly detailed. He doesn't miss a thing.
"The hell are you wearing?" Bakugou's brows furrowed as he finally took in her appearance. The sight of her kid pajamas nearly made him snort.
"Shut up!" Sana shrieked, her face glowing in embarrassment. "Your loud ass interrupted my beauty sleep." He barked out a laugh. It was gruff and incredibly attractive. The low sound didn't help the warmth in her cheeks. She had to clear her throat before attempting to speak again. "Thank you for the flowers. They're beautiful."
He shrugged nonchalantly, but his satisfaction was evident in the way his chest puffed out, his terrible posture straightening up.
"Are you ready for the Festival tomorrow?"
She already knew his answer. He'd been boasting about his inevitable win since the Festival had been announced. But she wasn't quite ready to let him go just yet. Not after everything he'd said last night, so she'd listen to him brag for as long as he wanted so long as he stayed with her a while longer.
"I'm gonna beat your ass into the ground." Sana went to make a sly remark but he interrupted her before she could. "Fuck off." She laughed.
"You're that confident, huh?" She shook her head in amusement. "Care to make things a little more interesting, Katsuki?"
"The hell are you yapping about now?" He narrowed his eyes in suspicion. It was her turn to shrug. His words from the previous night had haunted her mind on a continuous loop. He'd all but admitted to having feelings for her, she was sure of it. But when she'd pushed him for an answer, he ran off, disappearing into the night. She'd tossed and turned all night, unable to relax with all of the questions bouncing around in her brain.
But here he was now... apologizing and bringing her flowers that felt like they were expertly chosen to reflect her and her quirk. If he wouldn't confess his feelings, she'd just have to flush them out of him another way.
"A friendly wager," she moved the flowers to one hand, holding her other out for him to shake. "As an added prize for the winner... what do ya say?"
"Oh, right. That," Sana nodded, feigning innocence as she waved her hand. "Sure, why not?"
He shifted his weight, eyeing her suspiciously. "You never said what the prize would be."
"Why spoil the fun?" Sana wiggled her brows, backing out of the room. "Good luck, 'Suki!" She called as she turned and ran out of the room to rejoin their class. She heard his heavy footsteps trailing behind her, grumbling to himself as she linked arms with Mina.
Today's going to be a great day, she repeated to herself like a mantra, hoping that if she said it enough times, it might come true. But after talking with Bakugou, she realized that the fog of fear and dread and nerves that had been shrouding her all morning had dissipated.
Today's going to be a great day, she reminded herself once again.
And this time, she almost believed it.
¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*
After what has to be the worst opening speech in history given by one Katsuki Bakugou, it was time for the first round to begin. Midnight, in all her uncensored glory, revealed the first challenge to be an obstacle race.
Easy right? Wrong.
They were forced into a narrow tunnel, impatiently waiting for the round to begin. The scenario reminded her of the chaos in the hallway after the security breach. Back then, she'd had Bakugou there to help guide her through the crowd with his larger body.
Now, she was on her own.
She grimaced as a bony elbow burrowed into her ribcage, a large shoulder pressing into her's from the other side. This must be part of the challenge, she realized, ducking and shoving her way forward, gliding through the space between hot, sweaty bodies. Hisses and yelps followed her as she activated her quirk, her skin lightly steaming as her body rose to an uncomfortable temperature. She almost didn't notice the chill in the air.
Almost.
"START!" Midnight's voice reverberated throughout the stadium, followed by the snap of her whip.
Sana jumped straight up, keeping her palms parallel to the floor. With a burst of energy from her palms, she soared above the countless students that were now trapped within Shoto's ice.
With a self-satisfied smile, she shot out of the tunnel like a rocket. There was a commotion behind her as her classmates broke through the congestion. She was pleasantly surprised by the number of them that managed to make it straight out of the gate.
For one moment, Mineta was in the lead, only to be sideswiped by a giant green robot. They were dozens of them, appearing out of nowhere to block the only path forward. With minimal difficulty, Sana weaved between their large bodies, staying airborne as ice and metal rained down on the people below.
Present Mic's colorful commentary was nothing but background noise. She wasn't focused on anything but directing her quirk.
Explosions could be heard close by, a loud voice cursing at her and Todoroki. Daring a glance back, she quickly spotted him propelling himself through the air using small bursts from his hands. His feral expression was both hilarious and unnerving.
"Great minds do think alike, huh, Suki?" She called over her shoulder.
"Screw you!" He spat. "I did that shit first!"
She remembered their first day, during the quirk assessment test. Back then, they'd both done similar moves, and now here they were again months later, still imitating and learning from each other.
"Maybe," she eventually conceded. "But I do it better!"
"You-!"
The blonde was cut off as he moved to avoid the robots suddenly collapsing around them. The edges of the metal were still glowing bright orange from the heat used to slice through them like butter. Todoroki isn't holding back, so why should I?
Sana shot Bakugou a wink, her eyes an iridescent pink. "Gotta blast!" She cheerfully saluted with two fingers before flipping him the bird.
"I'LL KILL YOU!"

— bonds / relationships page (+mains)
Tumblr media
Here’s a list of the bonds between muses I’d like/be open to try out. This list works as a sample of what I’m interested ( or not ) to write.
Bolded: Bonds I’m the most interested to explore.
Crossed Out: Bonds I’ve already developed with a roleplay partner and the chances to write with another are low.
Important Note: Having a main doesn't mean I am not open for more interactions with the same muses unless the bond is crossed out. In that case, that means the chances are lower but that doesn't mean I'm exclusive with said person. I don't practice exclusivity. I am open to all kinds of interactions with all roleplay partners and I believe portrayals to be unique. I don't want to discourage anyone with this post, just give an idea of what I'm actively writing or prefer writing.
If you haven't found a bond here, it means absolutely nothing. Here are the bonds that came to my mind or the ones I've tried in the past. In general, I am always open to try out all kinds of interactions, so feel free to discuss any.
( this is a temporary post until the proper google docs are made )

— bonds / relationships page (+mains)
Tumblr media
Here’s a list of the bonds between muses I’d like/be open to try out. This list works as a sample of what I’m interested ( or not ) to write.
Bolded: Bonds I’m the most interested to explore.
Crossed Out: Bonds I’ve already developed with a roleplay partner and the chances to write with another are extremely low.

Todoroki Family Ties (Part 8)
Characters: Enji Todoroki, Stepmom!OC!Ivy (Ivy is black btw), Child!Shoto Todoroki, Teen!Touya Todoroki, Preteen!Fuyumi, Child!Natsuo
Warnings: mention of abuse, sexual themes
After the short conversation over the phone, Enji came back inside and explained everything to Ivy after sending the boys to bed. “So, I’m taking Shoto and Touya with me to pick them up from their grandparents’ house. If you don’t mind, I’d like for you to stay here. I want Fuyumi and Natsuo to have a little more warm up time with their brothers before they meet you.” In three days, Enji’s other two children, his second and third born, were to be put back into Enji’s custody. He was filled with excitement and missed them so much but he kept his stoic expression while talking about it.
Two years ago, Enji’s ex-wife, and mother to his four children, Rei, was admitted to a mental hospital for assaulting Shoto. Of course this was kept under wraps from the press but those closest to the family knew what happened while the outside world assumed she was murdered. Ivy herself wasn’t made aware of the situation until recently either. It made the number two hero look bad and gave him a terrible rep. Everyone was scared to look his way and lots of people wanted him fired from the position of hero, but their simple opinions weren’t enough to budge the idea.
Rei’s parents were horrified by the real news and saw how people were reacting to the situation. It influenced them to ask Enji to give up custody to them for the time being until they saw Enji fit to be a father again. He loved them dearly and that’s why he didn’t fight on the decision. Touya and Shoto would need training for their abilities but Fuyumi and Natsuo would be better off with the ice side of the family. On the upside, the boys got to see them when they visited every other weekend.
Enji was allowed to see them too but in a more supervised visitation way before he had to leave. Every time he had to go, the little “Bye, dad.” from Fuyumi as she hugged him tight broke his heart. She’d often shed a few tears about it but Natsuo wasn’t as vocal about how he felt. He’d only give half hugs and keep his head down the whole time. But when that car turned and went in the opposite direction of the house, he never stopped watching it. Even after it was out of view. No matter what feelings he showed, on the inside, he wished he was in the car with him. It’s not that his grandparents were bad in any way, they were great! He just hated the way they talked about him behind his back. When they thought Natsuo wasn’t listening. But he always heard it. And it always made his mouth taste bitter and his head hurt. Sure his dad messed up, but he was still just that. His dad. Soon, lost time would be made up for, and he and Fuyumi were over the moon about it.
Three days passed by quicker than expected. Two more children would enter the four person household Ivy was used to and nervous was an understatement for how she was feeling. Enji had already left with Touya and Shoto and for the time being, Ivy was alone. She spent the entire morning preparing for Natsuo and Fuyumi’s arrival. There were treats set out in the living room and in their own rooms, generous gift baskets filled with more treats and some trinkets she hoped they would enjoy. Even a nicely decorated banner up that read ‘Welcome Home!!’ in big letters.
Now she just anxiously sat on the couch. Waiting. Imagining how they would react to this new woman in their lives. Wondering if they’d even like her. To be honest, if they wanted her to leave, she would. Their family already needed to heal, it’s not fair that this random person just showed up and joined in and they’ve never even met her before. What if they hated her? Oh god. She’d fall apart. “Fuck. Now I’m more anxious than I was at first.” Not that it was a spoken rule, but something about your new step kids seeing you having a panic attack for their first impression that didn’t seem right to Ivy. So a few deep breaths, and she was able to stop one before it started. Until the panic was revived when the door started to open. She scrambled to her feet and picked up a plate of snacks from the table. ‘Here we go.’
“Ivy, we’re home!” Enji opened the door and Shoto and Touya entered first. She wondered if the other kids came until she saw two more small beings behind Enji. First, a beautiful young girl with glasses. Hair white and eyes grey like Rei’s with small bits of red for decoration. She held on to Enji’s hand while he closed the door. Another kid appeared next to her. A boy. A bit taller than her. Though he was younger, he inherited Enji’s height genetics. For a ten year old, he was as big as Touya, maybe even an inch taller than his fifteen year old brother. Then again, apparently Touya took a while to have his growth spurt. The tall boy’s hair was white like Touya and his sister’s, three little stripes of red on each side just above his ears.
Ivy immediately wore a smile as warm as the sun. “Welcome home, guys! I’m Ivy, nice to meet you!” The two just looked at each other and then their dad, who nodded towards her. Their gaze went to her but they still didn’t respond. Ivy just stood there, frozen, too scared to move. Touya took the opportunity to take the cookies out of her hand and head to his room, Shoto gorged on all the other snacks and Enji reprimanded him to not spoil his dinner. “I-I’m sorry,” Ivy got down on her knees, “I guess I’m a little obnoxious. So much for a first impression, huh?” Her head rested in her hands. Maybe she could just turn invisible so they wouldn’t see her blazing embarrassment.
During her internal breakdown, a small hand rested on her shoulder. Ivy looked up, the 2nd oldest standing in front of her and giving her a small smile, her brother not far behind. “Hello. I’m Fuyumi. This is my brother, Natsuo. Or just Natsu for short. Nice to meet you.” After Fuyumi’s introduction, Natsuo stepped forward and smiled down at Ivy. “Hiya, stepmom!” He glanced and pointed at the table where his little brother was enjoying himself. “Is all this for us? For reals?” She nodded, a huge grin on her face. “Heck yeah, dude. I ain’t no evil stepmom. I’m fun and spoil my step-babies.” Shoto stuffed another treat into his face before giving a thumbs up. “It’s true! She’s really nice and sweet. You’re gonna love her. I know I do!” Natsuo took a second and hugged Ivy before running to join his baby brother.
Fuyumi stayed, kneeling in front of Ivy. “So.... you love our dad? Is he nice to you?” Obviously, Fuyumi was smart. There was no need to be dishonest. She knew how her father was, what he did, and know she was asking if he was the same as he used to be. “Well.... he’s had to work on his attitude and how he expresses himself. But he’s definitely gotten a lot better from when we were first together. He wants to be a better man for his family and atone for his actions. He’s really winning my forgiveness everyday.”
Ivy turned to look at Enji who had taken a seat on the couch and was watching the boys indulge. There was a content smile on his face. Seeing their happiness gave him some of his own. It was definitely a nice change from the dejected faces of the past. “Fuyumi,” Ivy continued. “You don’t have to forgive your father if you don’t want to. But if you ever find yourself wanting to, and you have questions, or really questions about anything ever, you can talk to me. I want to be here for you and your brothers as much as I can. I know what it’s like to have a conflicting childhood. I wasn’t surrounded by love like you have been, but that doesn’t lessen the significance of anything you guys have been through compared to my situation. I want us to be a family and I hope I can grow on you in good time.” Fuyumi hesitated before hugging her new stepmother. “I already know you will.” Ivy embraced the hug. The rush of oxytocin was so satisfying.
“Please excuse me.” Fuyumi rose and went to sit next to her father who grinned when she joined them. This was his second chance. He already missed a few years with her and Natsuo and he couldn’t bare to miss anymore. Enji honestly felt like he needed them probably as much as they felt like they needed him. The moment he found out he could get them back he had developed a certain glow. That was the look of a man who got his babies back, and eventually, they’d have to really sit down and talk about why they had to go in the first place. As for now, they just needed to enjoy each other’s company.
At dinner, Ivy got to learn even more about her new family members. Like how Fuyumi wants to be a culinary genius one day. And how one of Natsuo’s favorite moments was when a puppy approached him on the street when he was having a bad day and made him feel so much better. Ivy hung to every word they spoke, it was all just so interesting. It got to the point where every time Natsuo thought of something new to tell, he’d interrupt his sister which Enji had to try and prevent a couple times. Though he was excited that they were already intrigued by Ivy, there was still an order of manners that needed to be abided by.
Even at bedtime, they still had so much to say, but Ivy had to ask them to wait and tell her tomorrow. They groaned but listened to her and went to bed. “They are so amazing, Enji.” Ivy smiled up at the big guy next to her, a sparkle in her eyes. “They seem to really like you. I’m glad tonight was such a success.” He pulled her into his lap and kissed her. “I know. I’m so happy, too. They’re really great kids and I wanna be the best stepmama that I can be for them. So much has happened to those sweet babies and I wanna make sure they smile from now on.” While she was talking, Enji spread little kisses on her cheeks and neck.
Ivy was quietly enjoying it, falling into a trance, but shuffled when she felt his heavy paw dragging up her thigh. “Enji-” “You’re such a great stepmother, Ivy.” He whispered into her ear while nuzzling her neck, gently nipping at the skin. “Have you ever thought about becoming just a regular mother?” She could barely hear him over the blood that started to flow around ears from how hot she was getting. “Yes. Why? Are you offering to make me one?” They worked together to move her legs so that she was straddling his waist. “If you think you’re ready for it....” His hands breached the hem of the shorts she was sleeping in, there was an ease of access since she didn’t usually sleep in underwear. The feeling of his strong digits doing nothing other than simply working her most sensitive areas made her head fall back. “I would love.... to put a baby in you, honey.” In the midst of the sudden heat rising in the room, the sounds of sloppy kisses and horny giggles began to transpire.
“Oh, Enji!~”

So…do you guys know The Nanny? As in,,, this sitcom?
Tumblr media
Well that, but make it Bakugou.
The Nanny Bakugou HC
NatsuBaku (Also?!?! currently there are 27 Bakugou/Natsuo fics on AO3 and only around 16 are like actual full stories (by that I mean not only PWP, or incomplete) Therefore, it’s is my DUTY to provide more. I just feel it in my bones.)
Bakugou being a nanny hired by one Todoroki brother (here it’s Natsuo) for their oc!kids
So, on a streak of bad luck Bakugou loses his job, his boyfriend broke up with him, said boyfriend also kicked him out, so there goes his living situation too. He ended up taking the nanny job to fix the living situation, and to also give him something to work with while he sorts out everything for the other job he wants.
So, Natsuo has three kids. Your typical lineup (idk if there’s actually a typical line up of kids shh), a teen, a preteen and a toddler basically. Or maybe whatever you call that age where they’re older than a toddler but not preteen as yet. The age when they still like stickers. Anyway.
The oldest is his daughter. Because being the eldest daughter is A Struggle that I can write from the sole of my feet to the end of my hair follicles.
The middle… Wait middle should be twins.
They should be twins if only for a scene where Bakugou can tell them a part when Natsuo’s girlfriend can’t. Hahaha.
The last child is an toddler who doesn’t like anyone and always cries but is really calm around Bakugou.
The kids all end up loving Bakugou but it takes them a while to Get There. Except the last one. The toddler loves him immediately.
So naturally, when Bakugou first arrives they try to drive him away. They make everything harder for him, from making food, to driving them places, to letting him know how the things around the house work or where stuff is supposed to go. Even purposefully messes up his schedules so he always has to rush when it comes to getting them to things. But if they think they can out stubborn Bakugou??? They got another thing coming.
He curses them every single step of the way, but he does not quit. Nope. Cue a typical scene where they bond because Bakugou helps one of the twins with their homework, and the other is like ‘don’t side with the enemy!!’ but eventually they get won over too when Bakugou starts kinda being an asshole to them too. Not really malicious, just doing little things that makes all their little pranks difficult for them instead.
Now I want to to figure out if their other parent is 1. Dead. 2. Alive but doesn’t really care for them. 3. Cares for them but is busy
none of these options include them still being with Natsuo
Dead can fit so much trauma, but the idea of the other parent mistaking Katsuki for Natsuo’s new partner when he isn’t tickles my brain so hard,,,, the other parent is around but they’re distant it is.
The other parent : Doesn’t really care for the kids, doesn’t even want them really. Just paying their money and leaving.
The only argument the twins have is over the other parent. One of them can’t help but miss them while the other just really hates them.
One of the twins invited the other parent to a rehearsal, recital whatever the fuck you want to call it and they didn’t show up but guess who did??? Bakugou. Idc if it’s cliché, I. Do. NOT!! Embrace the cliché.
Bakugou brings them flowers and they both get little charm bracelets with something special to a moment each of them had with him.
Bakugou gets the other job and it’s a teaching job. Before he like, fully here goes though he has to be on a temporary course thing, and who goes to said school? The daughter.
*slaps top of chemistry teacher headcanon* “So many awkward bonding moments can fit in this baby!”
She’s struggling in school? She fears bullied? She has a completely different persona from when she’s at home because she’s uncomfortable with herself/around her ‘friends’ and uses it as a way to cope? Oh my god, she has a completely different persona from when she’s at home because she’s uncomfortable with herself/around her ‘friends’ and uses it as a way to cope. *sobs* so many bonding moments.
Now. His relationship with Natsuo. So much teasing.
So cheesy too.
Natsuo who has more time to eat with the family now that Katsuki is around.
Who had time to go to parks, or sit in the garden outside
Who had time to watch cartoons on Saturdays with the twins
And the always eat breakfast together .
Whenever Natsuo brings home work, Bakugou lounges in his office and works in whatever he has too.
He listen to Natsuo complain about his coworkers and tell Natsuo about whatever dumb things his friends did/were trying to pull him into or complain about teaching
Natsuo always brings home a pastry from the bakery by his office for Katsuki because according to Natsuo they were the ‘best bakery to ever exist’ but according to Bakugou the goods were ‘subpar at best and I could totally make better’ and he wanted to find one that Bakugou liked so that Bakugou would finally bake him something
Bakugou kinda hated Natsuo at first, because he knows all about shitty parents that don’t give their children the time of day, but he eventually sees that Natsuo is trying his hardest and is here for them in all the ways that matter, so <3 (he also said to himself that the family dynamics wasn’t his business and that he wasn’t going to judge. But there he was, judging, judgingly)
Bakugou falls asleep one night with the kids on the sofa while reading them a book(like a novel novel) (yes even the eldest, she like making fun of his exaggeration/taking turns reading parts) and when Natsuo comes home he just…stops and looks at them.
Consider Natsuo having an emotional freak out and projecting onto Bakugou because the baby’s first word was ‘papa’ but they weren’t looking at Natsuo when they said it. (yeah, one year old still counts as a toddler right? I dont think that's late for your first word?? Is it? I’ll look it up later)
He spends so much time over thinking it and thinking about how much he doesn’t hate it a single bit that he ends up fighting with Bakugou and basically firing him.
And the twins get really upset with him. Visibility upset. He thinks his daughter is fine, because she doesn’t complain or even say anything because #eldestdaughterthings but he hears her crying one night on the phone with Bakugou.
Now, everyone is sad and a bit stand-offish, the baby is crying more often, and he misses Bakugou and everyone else misses him too and it’s a mess.
… they get together when the other parent comes for their like,,, check in, pay confirmation, idk I’ll make up something, and then they ask Natsuo where his ‘little boyfriend is’. After Natsuo clarifies that they’re not dating, never were, and that Bakugou is not here they say something like ‘what a shame. love looked good on you.’ or something to that effect, I don’t know the words right now, just the vibe.
(I totally forgot about the girlfriend I mentioned earlier so yeah, this was where he finally saw that he needed to break up with her, she already saw it coming, pain, bless her heart)
Anyway. Natsuo going to find Bakugou and there is some cursing, some tears, well deserved use of the term ‘fucking idiot’, maybe a bit of time and space(?) and finally *plays It’s Quiet Uptown* ‘forgiveness. Can you imagine?’.
Welp, that's the main plot! Writing will definitely include more characters (Fuyumi, Shoto, my loves, I’m looking at you) and what not. I’ll get on it right after I finish the next few chapters of the BakuMomo friendship fic i have going on.

@historias-multorum asked
‘Ship Bias’  our muses in general
Send ‘Ship Bias’ and I will share up to 5 Ships I have a bias for for my muse!
Going to list my top 5 (in no particular order) then expand on other (potential) interactions (other fandoms included) while I’m at it
1. Kakashi x Hana: This was a lovely surprise, I got to dive more into how I RP Kakashi, and while it’s an obvious slow burn due to his circumstances, it’ll be worth it!
2. SasuHina & Haruhi: SasuHina is great, I like your (angsty but realistic) canondiv, with them and I’m always up for interacting with OC children of canons too. All the development and info you have all Haruhi already def helps with interactions!
3. Naruto x Ino: I see the chemistry between them, especially with our interactions already like with ‘Amazing Blondes’ so would like to expand on them when we can!
4. Sasuke & Itachi: Always up for RPing with an AU Itachi, since it AUs my Sasuke too and helps me expand on him.
5. Ichigo x Nel [Bleach]: I am a sucker for these two, and look forward to continuing them when I get my Bleach muse back. I like the canondiv of her joining Division 11 and Ichigo travelling with her in the Human World.
Others
Shizune (with OC Kaito): I’d like to continue/expand on them if there’s enough chemistry, and there’s also that running gag of Kaito having a big crush on Hana, lmao
Tsunade/Tenten: They seem like background muses for our others, but it’ll be nice to see more in front (for shipping too)
Naomi/Madara/Izuna: Once I figure out how I’d RP the Senju brothers, I’m throwing them over lmao, also for my own Madara/Izuna one day too!
potential (if not already) My Hero Academia interactions
Aizawa:  with my UA teacher muses Nighteye: with my Deku/Mirio Tsuyu/Momo: with my UA student muses Natsuo: with my Shoto/Enji Tamaki: with my Mirio/Kirishima

Note
I had an idea for an OC if you want it. A woman/girl with a love quirk that makes it so anyone who looks her in the eyes falls madly in love with her with like everything that comes with it whether it be lust or possessiveness or snuggles and the person under her quirk is just the maxed out version of themself in love. She doesn’t intentionally use her quirk because she learned really quick how awkward it is to look at someone and them to propose so she wears a blind fold everywhere.
You didn't say who your favorite character was.... so I picked someone for you 🥰
Shoto Todoroki x Reader: Eye Love You.
“What a pretty little girl.” Your mother beamed with pride as the man smiled down at you. You were five, around the same age as all the other children who started developing their quirks when the first incident happened. Your mother and father felt like they had no reason to be concerned about your future powers. Your mom was a gentle heart, who could ease people's anxieties with a soft touch. Your father had piercing golden eyes that could see into the hearts of people, and find out who they loved the most. Both unique quirks, but nothing incredibly powerful. So when you woke up with the same liquid golden pools one morning, they were happy. You had hidden behind your mother's legs that afternoon, and she pushed you to say thank you to the man. “T-thank you.” You stuttered out, looking up to see the wrinkled face of the older gentleman. The man staggered back, gripping his head like he was in pain. “Sir are you alright?” Your mother asked, reaching out to touch him with her hand. He quickly stood up straight with a pained look on his face. “How much to marry your daughter? I have my check book right here!” He tried to grab your mother’s shoulders, she reeled back in horror, the shouting man starting to draw a crowd. “What are you talking about?” She picked you off of the ground and held you tightly to her chest. “Get away from us!” A patrolling hero strolled over to help, placing himself between the two of you and the increasingly more aggressive man. “Please mam, I love her! I’ll pay you any amount if you just give her to me!” The hero ended up escorting the man away, taking him into police custody as the man started to fight.
Your parents have never outwardly said to you, that they fear your power. They didn’t have too. “See Y/N, we got you masks in every pretty color. This one even has sequins.” Your father said, trying to convince you to wear your blind fold. “But papa I don’t wanna wear a mask over my eyes...” You whined and cried, but eventually it became routine to wear an eye covering everywhere you went. You got fairly good at navigating the world without being able to see fully. Your eye coverings blurred the world, but didn’t completely darken it.
Lost in thought you were startled by someone brushing past you sort of harshly, their shoulder shoving you to the side and forcing you to slam against the locker. “Ow!” You couldn’t tell who had pushed you so rudely, they continued to walk away without much of a glance in your direction.
“Hey you!” A lower voice you hadn’t heard before called out from behind you to the person who gave you a push. “What?” The shover called back, annoyed. “You hurt this girl and didn’t say excuse me.”  “So?”
“So you should apologize.” The voice was monotone, but stern.
“Or what?” The bully sneered. A softer voice, like the person was trying to whisper spoke up. “Hey didn’t you know that’s Endeavors kid?”
Endeavor’s son? You’d heard of him, but you’d think he would be too busy to stop and help someone from the Management class. “Hey man look, I don’t want any trouble but she was walking too slow. Sorry or whatever-” The kid said before shuffling off.
“Are you alright?” Todoroki turned to you. You had a few good friends here, but most people generally ignore you. Rumors at your old school flew around that you would curse people who were mean to you, forcing them to fall in love with you and do your every wish. It was frustrating to have people view you in such a negative light, you’d never use your powers on someone on purpose. It was cruel to watch people lose themselves, you could ruin someone’s life with your quirk. Break up a happy home, destroy someone’s relationship in a flash. You’d only ever used your quirk by accident, and hated yourself for it every time.
It was easier not to have anyone too close to you.
“Yeah, I’m okay. You didn’t have to say anything to him.” You angled your face to the ground, seeing the outline of his shoes. “Where are you heading?” Shoto asked.
“I’m meeting some students from the support class in the library. We’re all working on a project together.” In management you got to work with a lot of other students at U.A. You might not be the best at punching villains, but you could run numbers and execute ideas in a group setting really well. “I’ll walk you there. I’m heading that direction too.” You didn’t know, but Shoto was actually head the exact opposite way. He had plans to return to his dorm, but for some reason he felt intrigued by you and your strange little mask and decided he would make sure you got to the library without any more trouble. “Oh, well great.” You smiled, feeling a bit shy.
The next morning you heard a familiar voice call out to you. “Good morning Todoroki. Did you find that book you were looking for?” You asked sweetly. Surprised and happy he greeted you. “What book?” He asked, sounding confused. “The book you said you needed from the library last night, silly.” You giggled. Todoroki hadn’t checked anything out. He lied so you wouldn’t think he was just trying to walk with you. “Truthfully I didn’t really need anything. I just wanted to make sure nobody else bothered you.” He shoved his hands in his pockets. He spent the entire night tossing and turning, picturing your lovely cheekbones and smile. “That’s very heroic of you, but I can handle myself.”
“I’m sure you can. Can I walk you to class?”
Everyday, Todoroki would wait for you and walk you to your classroom. Much to the jealousy of a few girls who felt a little obsessed with the quiet fire prince. He didn’t seem to care, or even really notice how popular he was. It took a few weeks, but he started to open up more of his personality for you to see. Making a few jokes, laughing a bit at your witty and sarcastic comments. You were both similar in the way that it took some chipping down to open up about things. The two of you sat outside in the sunshine, feeling the beautiful spring air in your hair. “My mom always loves the flower blossoms this time of year.” Shoto said quietly, he had his hands clasped tightly together in his lap as the two of you relaxed on a bench. “I wish I could see them. They smell beautiful.” Shoto was quiet for a moment. “Well why don’t you take your blind fold off? I’ll watch for anyone walking by.”
Your heart lurched, this always happened. The closer you got with someone, the more comfortable they were being around you. It’s dangerous to not be on your toes, you thought. “I wish I could Shoto.”
Without saying anything he loosened the knot on the back of your head, the thin cloth falling into your lap. You quickly covered your face with a gasp. “Shoto! That’s not funny.” You felt panic rise in your chest. “I need you to look away while I put it back on. I’m serious.”
“I would never pull a prank on you. Do you trust me?” He said softly. Shoto reached out and gently took your hand and pulled it off of your face. He lead your chin to look his direction with his finger. You had your eyes shut tightly still. “Open your eyes Y/N. Please, I want you to see my face.”
You wanted to cry. “Shoto, I can’t control my quirk.”
“Do you trust me?”
“I-I do.” You said meekly.
“Then please, open your eyes.”
He was beautiful. You had imagined what he looked like for weeks now, but you never thought he would look so lovely. Your heart lurched seeing the scarred patch of skin on his face. Your awe was quickly smothered by a wave of panic. “Shoto I’m so sorry, are you okay?” You reached out and grabbed his face, looking for any signs of a change in him.
“I feel perfectly fine Y/N. I promise.” He gave you the sweetest, slight smile.
“Wait... does my quirk not work on you...?” You asked confused.
“It doesn’t have too.” He leaned in, closing the space between you two and planting a soft kiss on your lips. He pulled away, admiring your stunned expression. “I already love you.”

The Scarlett Hero
Chapter 0: Being a hero's child sucks
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Disclamer: This was originally written for an OC but for tumblr I made it x reader
You always knew what you wanted since you were a child, your parents always told you that they left Japan after finding out mom was pregnant. They named you L/N F/N, but N/N for short and said it was special that you were special. You were their one and only. They only wanted one child because they liked the idea of ‘spoiling’ you. Your O bāchan wanted you to be a boy to carry on the family name, even after finding out when you were a girl she begged for your  parents to try for a boy but they never budged. Both your parents came from pro hero backgrounds from your great grandparents when quirks started appearing till now. They've  been heroes before heroes were a thing. Your mother was Terepashī and your  father was Terekanisu. Before you were born they moved to the U.S in Visalia California for you to live as a normal child, well as normal as a child with former hero parents who were also too rich for their own good can live. When you were born, you were their world. All they wanted was for you to be happy, well until you moved back to Japan. They missed the hero life. They loved being civilians but that eventually got bored, not wanting to do civilian work like in an office. So when their old job offered them their hero jobs and top spots as number 7 and 8 heros if they came back. They sold the house and packed up. You were 8 when you moved and your parents always talked about Japan. You went there to see your grandparents but never stayed long enough to really understand the culture. So after pulling up into a large driveway and a house bigger than where you used to live shocked.
“Mama where are we?”
“Were home darling.” She looked behind her car seat.
“What about home in Visalia?” You didn't fully understand what was happening until seeing people moving boxes that your parents packed back home.
“Remember honey when we said we were moving to Japan we’re staying here baby.” You began to cry.
“What about my friends.” The car stopped pulling up to the house.
“Well you'll make friends here. Come on baby you're a big girl you'll be okay and both your  O bāchans are closer so you can see them whenever.” My eyes cleared.
As time went by and your parents got more and more busy being heros, when they made a comeback everyone went crazy. Everyone was surprised after 8 years of being silent they've come back as a force to reckon with. With that force came more jobs and less time to be with their daughter leaving her with nanny after nanny and staying with her
O bāchan. When she  turned 9 her quirk finally appeared after years of worry maybe you were quirkless. It was your 9th birthday when you woke up to your parents not being home to wake you up. Your O bāchan had made you a cake and they celebrated but you really wanted your parents like how it used to be before they even moved.
When you parents came home they were tired but you just wanted to spend time with them. It had been a while since they even hugged you.
“Mama, Papa guess what today is!’ you said excitedly.
“Not now Hayami, we’re really tired.” Your dad said taking off his armor and dropping it on the floor.
“But Papa, today's special.” tears began to run down you cheeks
“Dear god F/N  we’re tired just leave us alone and bother your O bāchan.” Red hue had seeped from you eyes flowing out. Your hands clenched around themselves, you were angry but sad you just wanted them to notice you again to  be their world again.
“Aikia.” Your father Koto had tapped his wife on her side. Pointing towards their daughter only for them to be sent flying backwards by the ray of energy the child in front of them released.
“I just wanted a hug, It's my birthday I just wanted you to be here, please what am I doing wrong!” She was surprised at what she did holding her hands back stepping back from in front of them.
Siri play Sora Ni Utaeba
“No baby, you're doing good just calm down.” They stood up moving forward towards their daughter realizing their daughter had finally developed her quirk. Something this strong in a child is phenomenal. Just from that blast they can see she has her father's quirk but ampules the amount of power that he had at that age with no training.
“D-did I hurt you?”She quivered not wanting to touch them, the red hue still flowing from her eyes. Her father grabbed a hold of her bringing her close to her father and mother.
“No honey you didn't hurt us.” He wiped tears away from her eyes, eventually going back to her normal green doe eyes.
“You got your quirk baby.” Her mom held her hand, gripping it and looking at her hands trying to see what her hands were even doing. Red was still glowing from her hands.
“Mama what is this. Is something wrong with me?” She knew what quirks were but her’s never looked like her parents. In America the kids' quirks resemble their parents more or less. Her parents don't  have any color coming from them.
“No honey it's okay I think you just need to be trained. What happened, I felt your power coming from it. How about you let your papa and I go get cleaned up and celebrate your special day and we talk about this tomorrow.” They picked up Y/N happy that she's gotten her quirk now she has a chance to be a hero.
Later that night after they put Y/N to sleep her parents and O bāchan had discussed what they were going to do that she's behind on training when they were her age they were training with pros.
“ What about her godfather. He’s training his own child to be number 1 and All might said he won't train a child no matter who they are.” They looked up at Koto as if he was crazy.
“Koto, Enji would never he's a godfather not a sensi. You know how he is with his own family no matter how hard he tries to hide it his children are separated from shoto.” Aika gave her husband a pinned look. She knows that's basically what his parents did to him but he had no issues with it.
“Hear me out Aika when my parents trained me when I got into U.A I was in 1A my mind was focused. I want the same for our daughter,  and her quirk is so much stronger than ours you felt it you know she is. If Enji trains her she can be the top 5 hell even number 1 if she works hard enough and surpasses his son somehow. She's already behind Akia, if he says yes I have no doubt our daughter would make us proud.” He stroked the doubt from his wifes face. Letting her know this might be better.
“Maybe this would be better for F/N. Akia when you were a child you didn't train as hard enough and you didn't even get in the agency you wanted because of your marks. Don't let your child suffer. You want her to be the best. Right?” Akia nodded. Remembering her past failures never wanting her child to be rejected and always being the top.
“I'll make the call then.” Koto steps into another room away from his wife and mother in law.
Koto made the call to Enji Todoroki, the number 2 pro hero Mimi's godfather. Since they were younger and freshly married  they had always talked about how powerful their children would be. Unlike Enji, Koto’s marriage wasn’t arranged he had known of his wife when he saw her at the sports festival their 3rd year, seeing her telekinesis at work he was entrances, he knew then that he wanted to be with her and didn't stop till she was his and that she was. It did cause him to drop in the hero polls because he focused on woahing the girl rather than his job but he loved her and that's what mattered to him then. It was full of love.
Enji knew to an extent that their child would be powerful and that if their children had worked together as partners in the hero world no one would be able to stop them. They would be the top heros. So after his long time U.A friend had offered the idea of training his child he took the opportunity never questioning. Him being able to have his song and goddaughter training side by side as partners. Helping her channel her power. This was an opportunity he was not going to waste.  Having two future pro heros train under him since childhood how could he ever.
The next day her parents took her to the Todoroki household . She tried playing with the children that were in the courtyard but her father had called her to his side putting her in front of him making her be face to face with a boy with half white half red hair.
“Y/N you know your godfather Enji.” she had met him a couple of times enough to know she's supposed to trust him enough that her parents let him stay in their house in America and even babysat her. Well as good as he did that due to him just telling her to stay in her room and only come out if she needed to. He wasn't the best but her parents trusted him.
“Yes, hello.” She looked up at him smiling, he did not return it.
“This is his son Shoto.” He smiled at her, hers only getting wider getting a warm greeting from someone else in the house.
“Since you've gotten your quirk your mother and I decided that your godfather should train you on how to use it.” She and Shoto were shocked. Him because he's going to have someone else to train with and not be alone with his father. She started to tear because her parents are going to leave her with someone she hardly even knew right after her birthday not even trying themselves but passing her off as someone else's problem.
“Why can't you or mama train me?” she asked, confused. She thought that now that she has the quirk that they would spend more time with her.
“You are so powerful we feel that Uncle could do better than us. He's number 2 after all he will be better than us. Just trust us okayY/N.” She didn't want to make them stand there anymore so she stopped asking questions and went along with it.
That afternoon her father had left her in the care of her godfather that she refers to either ‘uncle enji or uncle Todoroki’ not wanting her to call him godfather. That afternoon training had begun. Shoto had been training his whole life while this was your first day. Enji had made Shoto and you spar telling each of them don't stop till he said to. Shoto was going easy on you knowing that it was your first time but his father had stood in front of him demanding why would he do that,  screaming until he cried. Mimi had gone to Shoto’s to help him calm down, not wanting to see her new and only friend cry. Enji watched the scene disgusted that they wouldn't go full force. He walked out of the room demanding they straighten up before he gets back. Mimi had comforted Shoto enough that he stopped crying.
“Is he always like this?” Shoto nodded.
“He hits my mother and yells at the rest of us.” She was shocked she didn't know what to do. He explained to her everything that he even remembers in his 9 years of living.
“Please don't tell anyone you have to pinky promise.” He made her promise not to tell anyone. She had a faint idea that if she did say something maybe something worse would happen to him or even her. That day they had become the closest of friends.
“If we don't get up and start training before he comes back he's going to be even more angry.” Shoto had said, well more like a warning.
By the time Enji had returned Y/N and Shoto were going at it as if they were pros. Even though she only had her power for a day she had learned to dodge attacks from him and when she got behind him she was able hit him with her quirk  sending him flying forward and when he sent his flames in her direction she engulfed them with her quirk sending them back to him. Enji had a smirk on his face when he saw them sparing without him actually training him standing there watching.
When her father had come to pick her up ,she had already eaten dinner with the Todorokis’ due to her parents having a job before picking her up. She was basically sleeping right next to Shoto with his head on top of hers. When her parents took her,  Shoto’s mom took him to bed hers taking her home tucking her in not knowing what she went through.

Starting over
I don’t own anything, including two characters Teka and Yoshino todoroki. Those two are owned by Ackerbang on instagram(check their account, it has great oc bnha characters). I asked for their(not sure if their a guy or girl) permission to use them in this and they were kind enough to allow it.
Tumblr media
It was 8 pm at night when Endeavor grunted while putting his last piece of his costume on before walking through the door to see his fiance with her eyes closed while holding her young son in her arms. Their young 4-month-old son in her arms, his red hair had some spikes starting to grow in since he was born with a little amount of hair similar to his older half-brother Shoto. Endeavor was going to let them sleep but it was dangerous to be sleeping while holding a sleeping baby.
Sometimes he wondered how this happened so fast. After making so many mistakes here he was getting a fresh start with the most beautiful woman who never gave up on him, she was his happy ever after though he would never tell anyone that, he wasn’t an emotional guy.
With all the drama that led to this, she stood with him, she stood with him when the media called her the worst names because of how much younger she was compared to Endeavor, she stood with him at night when he woke up from another memory of his mistakes from the past, so when she asked for a kid he couldn’t say no. Was his family supportive? Understandably no, well Fuyumi had some trouble but after meeting (Y/n) she was more understanding.
When Endeavor met (Y/n) that was when he agreed for Rei and him to get divorced, (Y/n) never tried anything with him when he was married but he just fell for her. When his children found out their father was dating a young woman almost the same age of his oldest child, they weren’t happy. When Enji and (Y/n) got engaged, his children didn’t seem very supportive but they never tried to hurt (Y/n) or anything and she understood their anger wasn’t meant towards her but towards their father. The only kid of his that was supportive of them when they announced (Y/n) was pregnant was Fuyumi as the best and sweetest girl she was.
Enji softly smiled though ignoring his troubles and enjoying this moment seeing his love sleeping with their son on her arms. Their son, Oga laid peacefully with his tiny 4-month-year old arms holding his mother’s hand. The oldest Todoroki placed his hand on his fiance’s arm and gently shook her which woke her up after a few seconds. The young mother opened her eyes and rubbed her eyes to see Enji and smiled, “Hey there,” her voice was soft.
“Are you tired?” Endeavor asked, (Y/n) blinked for a second thinking of it but she shook her head no. She kissed Oga’s head and saw her little boy’s eyes open to show his bright blue eyes practically glow in the dark. Oga tried to move his arms a bit but had a hard time as he was only 4-months-old which made (Y/n) laugh a bit before her baby rubbed his face into her arms out of exhaustion and clinginess.
“He is clingy like you,” (Y/n) said, some friends had suggested that Oga was just going through the baby phase where he doesn’t want anyone other then his mama which (Y/n) agreed with since he hadn’t been this clingy before. The problem with that is the fact (Y/n) can’t have a second of peace when Oga is awake because he won’t accept anyone but her. Oga likes his dad enough though but if he sees his mama, he won't let her have a second alone. They learned that from experience after Enji was kicked in the face once when he was holding Oga while he was having a tantrum wanting his mom.
Oga also seemed to have a fascination with his older half-brother Shoto for some reason, he loved to grab his hair out of the rareness of the color but Shoto didn’t seem to care about Oga understandably so. Fuyumi loved Oga more then anything, whenever she visited she would say how cute he is and how much he looks like their dad though it was obvious she purposely dodged saying he looked like any of his brothers, especially Touya. The one who didn’t want to have anything to do with (Y/n) and/or Oga was Natsuo, he was literally engaged the same time his father was so it wasn’t hard to find why he never visited or called or anything, but the worst part was he had never even met Oga.
The older red haired Todoroki wished he could do more but with his job and knowing the only way his fiance could escape the clutches of the baby would be having to be in an area where Oga couldn’t see or hear her but she couldn’t stand the pain of leaving Oga while he is so young, oh the pain of being a first time mother. Enji looked to the side grumbling, “I’m not clingy, I’m protective,” his fiance giggled a little before looking at him.
“Well I love your ‘protectiveness,” Endeavor smiled and kissed her before looking at Oga stare at him before glaring at him almost and cuddling into his mama. (Y/n) looked at Endeavor in costume before realizing what time it was, “You need to be working, so go and help people, I’ll be fine,” (y/n) reassured Enji which he responded by nodding and leaving. Endeavor had thought the whole night in worry over his fiance, she literally had bags under her eyes since she didn’t get much sleep because Oga wouldn’t let her sleep.
When (Y/n) woke up she could smell something burning which made her shoot herself up and run to Oga’s room to see he wasn’t in his crib, she had never felt so panicked in her life. She ran to the kitchen since that was where the smell was coming from before seeing the number 1 hero Endeavor in his normal citizen clothes while cooking breakfast which was obviously burning as he mumbled under his breath. Oga was sitting with a smile on his face watching his dad get frustrated, he turned his head immediately seeing his mom holding her hand up to cover her mouth to stop herself from laughing.
Oga cried to the top of his lungs to inform his mama he wanted her immediately, Enji turned to Oga to see what was wrong before seeing what caused his baby to start crying. He frowned with some red on his cheeks before speaking, “I wanted you to get some sleep so I wanted to make breakfast.” (Y/n) smiled and walked to Enji and kissed his cheek which held his scar before turning and picking Oga up, Oga started to mess with her shirt trying to get to his source of food.
“How did you keep him from noticing I wasn’t there?” (Y/n) asked, Enji looked at his cooking before responding, “I just closed our bedroom door and woke him up and walked past our room quickly so he wouldn’t think of you.”
(Y/n) turned to see the track Enji left, how did she not notice that? She didn’t really care since she just got a full 8 hours of sleep since...oh man she needed that sleep. Plus seeing her adorable fiance trying to cook next her baby just brightened up her day. Oga started to cry a bit out of annoyance of being hungry and his mother not giving him food. “This is the sweetest thing. I love you so much,” (Y/n) said with tears forming from her eyes as she hugged her fiance.
“It’s not a big deal,” Enji grumbled, (Y/n) giggled before finally noticing her baby that was hungry and clung onto her shirt. Oga’s red hair had a few spikes but was mostly smooth, his blue eyes was its usual vibrant color.
“It’s still super sweet,” (Y/n) said before kissing his cheek, Enji chuckled softly seeing his love’s sweetness. In that moment, the number 1 hero was at peace...even if the food was burning.
(Y/n) had Oga on her hip while bouncing up and down a little bit while thinking of what to do next, she could start cooking or give Oga some toys while she tried to clean but she didn’t trust him to not try to sit up while his mama wasn’t looking. Oga was starting to stop crying before hearing someone knock on the door, Enji was at work a bit late looking for someone who had escaped prison or something and no one said they were visiting so who was at the door?
She walked to the door before looking through the door to see a gorgeous older woman with hair that looked to be similar to lava, it probably was lava, she had something about her that reminded her of Enji for some reason. (Y/n) looked at Oga who looked at the door before looking at her staring at her. (Y/n) opened the door with some worry since she didn’t know this woman but she looked like a nice older woman, “Hi, do you need something?” (Y/n) asked thinking maybe she was lost or something, the woman with lava hair was about to speak before seeing Oga looking back at her but after a second she spoke with a very graceful and serious voice.
“Hello, I have some business in the city and thought I could visit. I’m assuming that Enji hasn’t told you much about me, has he?” She asked, (Y/n) shook her head no before hearing the woman sigh.
“I’m Enji’s mother, Teka. I...was hoping to see my new grandson,” (Y/n)’s eyes widened before remembering her in a photo around the house, it was an almost hidden picture oddly enough as it normally just sat in the corner of his work space close to his computer that he used when he had extra work. The picture had Teka when she was younger next to a man who was practically a replica of Enji’s son Natsuo with black hair and dark eyes. (Y/n) shook her head for a second after losing herself in thought.
“Wow, I’ve never met you before, I’m (Y/n) but you probably already know that. This is Oga,” (Y/n) introduced herself before moving to allow Teka into the house. Teka walked in so elegantly with a stare that had daggers ready at any moment, there is no doubt she was a Todoroki. She looked around the house with the exact same glare Enji had while in thought.
“It seems he is doing well for himself,” Teka said while looking at the pictures around the house before sitting on the couch like royalty.
“I don't know whether or not this is rude but ugh...why hasn’t Enji talked about you before?”(Y/n) wasn’t good at holding any thoughts in. Teka closed her eyes and looked at Oga, (Y/n) then realized something...Enji is so much like his mother.
“I’m so sorry if I upset you!” (Y/n) apologized sweetly to the ex-model woman, (Y/n) froze for a second after hearing the lava haired woman laugh.
“You remind me so much of him. You're so calm and positive, just like Enji’s father,” Teka said almost in a different world as she looked at her before looking back at Oga. (Y/n) realized Teka wanted to hold him but didn’t know how to properly ask...Enji did the exact same thing when Oga was born. (Y/n) smiled and offered Oga to her which Oga turned his head looking at his mama basically threatening to start crying before Teka smiled and took her grandson.
“He doesn’t normally like other people holding him,” (Y/n) said feeling a bit like she was interrupting the grandma and grandson. Oga was totally calm as he stared at the woman with lava hair.
“He is as big as Enji was at this age,” Teka said with a laugh feeling the weight of the baby boy in her arms. (Y/n) could almost feel Teka in deep thought over something, maybe thinking of when she was holding Enji at this age. She then realized Oga was squirming a bit, “Oh Sorry if he is being fussy, he is going through that phase where he doesn’t like anyone but me holding him. It’s a bit of a problem but he’s getting better,” (Y/n) said, Oga looked at his mother now almost challenging her. After she said that Oga pretty much made her look like a liar as he froze looking at her in silence.
“Ok, now he is just being stubborn. He is turning out like his father,” (Y/n) said with a frown on her face looking at her baby. Teka smiled and ran a hand through her grandson’s hair before hearing (Y/n) speak again.
“So like what happens with you go to beaches, does your hair like change or-”
“-What are you doing here?” They turned to see Enji standing at the doorway staring at Teka. Teka sighed and gave Oga to (Y/n) before turning to Enji.
“I didn’t want to cause any trouble, I assumed you wouldn’t let me see my new grandson,” Teka said with the same glare that Enji shared as (Y/n) practically cowardard in the back.
“Just leave,” Enji said, Teka nodded before leaving the house which left (Y/n) and Enji alone with Oga in (Y/n)’s arms.
After (Y/n) put Oga into his crib she walked into Enji and her bedroom to see him sitting with his laptop on his lap. After the event that happened Enji was silent. (Y/n) went behind Enji and put her arms around him and put her head on his shoulder.
“I’m not going to force you to do anything but if I had a choice I would talk to her again,” (Y/n) said, Enji sighed and put a hand on his love’s head.
“I love you,” Enji said

After having done KiriBaku’s Children I decided to do the rest of my ships because I’m bored and hyper fixate on useless things. So, here are some domestic TodoDeku headcannons!
Shoto and Izuku have always wanted a big family especially with Izuku having been an only child and Shoto not having the best of childhoods.
Hibiki came first, he was about one years old at the time and was already slowly growing into his quirk (since it would be affecting his physical appearance.
He was a bit of a handful but Shoto and Izuku were determined to be the best parents for their children and love them no matter what.
Aito came by accident, he was 4 yrs old and had ran away from his current foster home. Izuku had found him in the rain, huddled in a box in an ally way while he was walking back home from work.
Aito had been moved around a lot between foster houses due to being too “rambunctious” and “difficult to care for”. Shoto and Izuku fell in love with him immediately and Aito was just happy to have a family that wanted him.
Ren was a curious case all on their own, the adoption agency weren’t sure if they should put the child into the foster care system or send it to a lab to get studied. Thankfully, Shoto and Izuku were able to convince them of the latter.
Kaiya was the simplest out of the four, both adoption wise and care.
Hibiki has the DNA of a fruit bat so his diet mainly consists of fruit
He’s legally blind but doesn’t use a cane as his hearing and echo location help him navigate where he needs to go
He can read braille
He is absolutely obsessed with heroes just like his dad (Izuku), the two can talk for hours about nothing but hero states and quirks.
Izuku will admit he is responsible for his adventurous yet reckless spirit seeing as Hibiki is brave enough to do absolutely anything if he thinks that’s what a hero would do. They’ve had several long talks about this.
Surprisingly, Izuku has to be the mediator when it comes to saying “No” to anymore collectibles because Shoto is a weak man and loves to spoil his children and husband with gifts.
-
With the upmost fondness Izuku and Shoto refer to Aito as their “feral child” and Aito has really come to love the nickname since it’s said out of love and not malice.
He’s mainly carnivorous and mostly eats meat
His snake tail is sentient and needs to be feed live mice once a week
This boy is practically part cat and can climb just about anything, he’s also much too fearless for his own good. This includes climbing atop the roof of their house and jumping off it to see if he can fly yet, even though his dads have told him repeatedly that his feathers aren’t fully developed yet.
Teething was an absolute nightmare with this child as he practically gnawed through about everything.
Thankfully, Bakugou and Kirishima have been having the same problem with daughter, Takane, and were able to help them find some good chewing toys
Speaking of which!
Aito has a HUGE crush on Takane; Good News: she likes him back; Bad News: this is not good news for Bakugou
Shoto thinks it hilarious and always teases the explosive blonde about how they’ll soon be future in-laws.
-
It is assumed that Ren can eat, though it’s more like they absorb their food and seemingly dissolve it inside themselves.
Due to their mainly liquid form most of Ren’s clothes are lined with rubber so that they won’t seep through them.
Ren can stretch their body to impossible shapes and sizes which helps to reach for things on the top shelf
They sleep in a bucket due to their form becoming much to relax to keep a solid shape
They enjoy making things with their hands, having plenty of crafting material on hand to make plenty of gifts for their friends and family
The communicate by Morse code through a series of clicks and gurgles, as well as sign language if they can concentrate enough to shape fingers onto their hands.
They have an extensive bug collection made up of live and framed specimens. The live ones usually get released after a few days of observation.
-
Kaiya was said to have been quirkless according to the adoption agency since both her birth parents where as well
Izuku and Shoto knew that they had to have her, because quirk or not she needed to know that having a quirk wasn’t everything.
(Needless to say they won’t have to worry to much about that in the future)
She’s Shoto’s little princess and All Might help the person that will someday sweep her off her feet.
She’s seemed to take an interest in Shoto’s scar and enjoys running her chubby fingers over the rough texture. Shoto doesn’t mind and finds the gesture very soothing.
Her first word was “Dada” and Izuku cried tears of joy for a good hour, he did the same thing when she took her first steps.

𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐩𝐭. 𝟏
A descendant of a legendary quirk longs to separate herself from her family name, but first she'll have to confront villains, ghosts from the past, and her growing attraction for Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight.
Pairing: Katsuki Bakugou x OP!fem!oc
Warnings: swearing
In the MHA/BNHA canon, there are already characters named Twice, Momo, and Mina, and all of them are Japanese. As a Kpop fan, I felt compelled to add a Sana to complete the set
series masterlist + my masterlist
The first recorded quirk was of a baby in Qing Qing City who could radiate light from her body. That baby later grew up to have a family, who started their own and so on and so forth. The cycle repeated itself again and again, with each new generation engaging in quirk marriages specifically designed to strengthen the original power passed down to them so many years ago.
The last coupling of a descendant, Yoichi Sakano, and a woman named Suzume Takahashi had produced the strongest quirk user yet—a daughter named Sana.
And so, our story begins.
Today officially marks the beginning of the rest of my life.
For the next three years, Sana Sakano would be attending the prestigious U.A High, the highest ranked heroics school in the country. After finishing in the top 5 of the recommendations exam, Sana knew firsthand how steep the competition would be. It wouldn't be an easy climb to the top, that was for sure, especially when she knew she'd have to face off against ridiculously talented people like Shoto Todoroki.
The two teens had known each other since they were toddlers, having first met after receiving their quirks. Enji Todoroki had wanted someone to push his masterpiece to his limits and force Shoto to work harder. Of course, Sana's father had no problems offering his daughter as a training partner for the son of the Number Two Hero. Endeavor had initially introduced Sana to the half-and-half boy as "a necessary obstacle to overcome if he were to surpass All Might in the future." But the head of the Todoroki family hadn't anticipated for the human punching bag he'd gifted his creation to strike back as hard as she did.
That first training session had ultimately ended in Sana's loss, but she'd put up one hell of a fight.
At first, the two children couldn't stand the sight of the other. Their fathers weren't arranging play dates like normal parents; no, whenever the two kids were together, it meant pain was coming. They'd been pitted against each other from the start. Not having a chance to properly introduce themselves led to a lot of misunderstandings during their first year of training. But as time passed and they grew to acknowledge and appreciate the other as a person, the rivalry eventually evolved into an unlikely friendship.
Sana checked her phone for any notifications, only to be disappointed that there was nothing from the candy cane-haired male she'd once called her best friend. Something between them had changed, and the peach-haired girl wasn't sure how to make things right again. It all started a few months ago, with Endeavor canceling their training sessions indefinitely. Since then, Shoto had been more reserved than usual, growing more and more distant. It was like the closer they got to attending U.A, the more he seemed to pull away and withdraw into himself.
Now, Shoto had never been a warm and fuzzy person to begin with. It just wasn't his nature. But there were times that he'd lowered his guard enough to allow Sana to see beyond the ice prince persona he'd built over the years.
Apart from Rei, Sana was probably the only person that knew who Shoto Todoroki really was. They'd grown up together. She'd been by his side during his lowest moments and vice versa. Sana knew all of his weaknesses just as he knew her's. She'd seen the kindness Shoto kept tucked away behind a wall of ice, the quiet passion that burned within his chest. A fire that hadn't been lit by Shoto's father, but in an ironic twist, his mother. A roaring flame that fueled his desire to do good, to be a better man than the poor example he'd been made to follow.
But now there was a chasm separating the two childhood friends. A gaping wound that neither knew how—or on his part, willing—to repair.
Months had passed since Shoto had last spoken to her. Without their weekly training sessions, Sana had been forced to prepare for U.A's recommendation exam alone. She'd seen the dual-haired male in passing during the tests, but he'd coldly brushed her off every time she'd tried to approach him or offer words of encouragement.
"Great. My first day of high school and I have no friends." Sana pouted, brushing imaginary wrinkles out of her teal skirt as she worried over her reflection one last time. She chose to leave her hair down, but packed a ribbon just in case she needed to tie it back later. This should be fun. She scooped up her backpack on her way downstairs, tossing a strap over her shoulder.
At the head of the dining table reading the newspaper was her father. As expected, his pale salmon hair was styled perfectly with a few gray hairs lining his temples. The full plate of food in front of him sat untouched. The light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows cast a glare on his rectangular frames, making his expression unreadable. Sana took a deep breath before taking her seat at the table. Yoichi spared her a glance, clearing his throat to get her attention.
"So, today's the day, huh." It was a statement, not a question.
"Yes, sir." Sana answered, avoiding his icy blue eyes and picking at her breakfast. Chocolate chip and banana pancakes, her favorite growing up. They were even arranged into a happy face on her plate. Umi, the head maid of the house, obviously wanted to celebrate the joyous occasion.
"My little firefly is going to be a hero!" She'd told anyone who would listen for the past month. Umi's endless love for a child that wasn't her's to care for had always taken Sana by surprise. Maybe because she wasn't accustomed to openly receiving affection.
Not anymore, that is.
"Kids these days have such foolish aspirations, don't you think?" He scoffed, picking up where he'd left off reading. "Heroes," he said with a condescending laugh, a finger to his lips. "People parading around in ridiculous costumes, calling each other childish names." His hand fell, revealing an empty, practiced smile; the only one she'd ever seen him wear, even in rare family photos or during his numerous appearances on TV.
"They're only trying to make themselves feel more important than they actually are."
Just like you, she wanted to say. Sana swallowed her anger, her knuckles turning white as she tightened her grip on her silverware before forcing herself to relax.
"They're tacky and distasteful, yet you insist on ruining my reputation by chasing a pipe dream." Yoichi lectured, shaking his head in shame. "I thought I'd raised you better. But if setting yourself up for failure is the only way for you to accept your place in this world, then so be it." Sana lowered her head and pushed her chair away from the table to stand. His sharp gaze followed her retreating figure. "Leaving already?" He gestured towards her abandoned plate. "You've hardly touched your meal."
Sana paused in the archway leading from the dining room to the entranceway. Moments like these made her miss when she was younger, before she got her quirk. The times when it seemed like her mother's love-filled treats could take away any and all pain; from scraped knees and mild bruises to crushed spirits and emotional scars left in the wake of her father's "motivational" speeches.
Unfortunately, Umi's recipe didn't have the same effects. The once sweet meal had turned to ash on her tongue the moment her father had opened his mouth.
"I lost my appetite."
¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*
Rather than taking one of the town cars like her father had suggested on her way out, Sana chose to make the twenty minute trip to U.A High on foot. It was purely out of spite, but she refused to think about that man any longer. She wouldn't let him ruin what was, so far, the most important day of her existence.
Her skin tingled pleasantly as she soaked in the warm ultraviolet rays in the atmosphere. She could already feel her energy levels replenishing what little she'd lost getting ready. Sana couldn't help but let her mind wander during her peaceful morning walk. She honestly wasn't sure what to expect for the day. No doubt a nationally ranked school like U.A would be different from her past schools. Surely they wouldn't have students attend something as normal as orientation when they could be doing something far more productive. That would be the most rational option, right?
But what would they have us do instead? Sana tapped her chin thoughtfully. Are we expected to start training as soon as the first bell rings?
Up ahead, the front gates of U.A could be seen, the H shaped building piercing the sky. Kids her age and older were hanging around the courtyard, exploring the enormous campus and getting to know each other. Sana passed them all quickly, wanting to reach her classroom and make at least one friend before classes began. She'd need someone to sit with at lunch, since she doubted Shoto could be bothered to do so.
After wandering the halls for a few minutes, the girl finally found the correct door. Class 1-A had a rather large entrance, though she figured it was necessary since the school was expected to provide access for all types of quirks and mutations.
Sliding the door open, Sana was immediately greeted with a few polite hellos that she happily returned. Picking out her desk, she placed her bag in the seat and turned to observe the people around her. Only a small portion of the class had arrived so far. It'd be another fifteen or so minutes before classes began, which gave Sana plenty of time to get to know her peers. In the next row sat a girl with an edgy haircut.
First target acquired.
The girl, Jirou, was a little shy at first, but she opened up more once the topic of music came up. Both Tokoyami and Shoji were men of very few words, so Sana ended up doing most of the talking. Not that she minded, of course. She was used to carrying conversations after spending most of her life with such a stoic boy like Todoroki.
Momo and Iida automatically stuck out as private school types, with their unnaturally straight posture and overly polite mannerisms. Iida, being the more enthusiastic of the two, had energetically greeted the peach-haired girl and shared his hopes for the school year all while performing stiff, robotic movements with his arms. Momo had been more reserved, but just as warm and welcoming as the blue-haired boy.
Sana remembered seeing the girl's spiky ponytail at the recommendation exams.
Mina Ashido, an excitable B-girl with rosy skin, bubblegum curls, and black sclera quickly wormed her way into Sana's heart. The two formed an instant sisterhood after discovering their shared love of fashion, dance, and raspberry flavored lipgloss. Mina, being the social butterfly that she is, took it upon herself to introduce Sana to a former classmate of her's named Eijiro Kirishima. With his scarlet spikes and sunny smile, Kirishima had caught everyone's attention as soon as he'd stepped foot in the room.
Standing beside him was a derpy blonde with a black lighting bolt streaking through his hair. The blonde's eyes lit up after landing on Sana. When he'd noticed the two girls approaching them, he'd nearly short circuited. "Jeez," he rubbed a hand behind his neck, his cheeks glowing in embarrassment. "You're so beautiful I forgot my pickup line."
"Well, you're not so bad yourself, uh...?"
"The name's Denki Kaminari," he held a thumb to his chest proudly. "But you can call me yours." Both girls laughed at the cheesy pick up lines he continued to fire at the peach-haired girl, Sana found the hopeless flirt to be charming in a goofy kind of way. Kirishima, of course, was a precious bean, with his shy, sharktooth smile and obsessive use of the word "manly."
That's it, Sana thought as Mina told the group embarrassing stories from their middle school days, making Kirishima's face burn as red as his freshly-dyed hair. I'm officially adopting him as my child.
Overall, she had a good feeling about Class 1-A... well, except for a pervert named Mineta. Already, he'd tried to peek up the girls' skirts. Sana had knocked the little germ clear across the room before he could try anything else, much to Iida's horror. "Next time he tries something like that, I'll blind him," she'd threatened, tuning out the bluenette's long lecture about respect and classroom etiquette and blah blah blah.
Mina gasped, nudging Sana's arm. "Check out the class hottie!" She pointed, not even trying to be subtle. "He's giving off broody, mysterious vibes." Seated in the very back of the classroom was a devastatingly handsome guy with hair split straight down the middle—one half a stark white, the other a rich crimson.
Shoto Todoroki.
"Yeah," Sana agreed halfheartedly, averting her gaze. "Very mysterious."
Gray and turquoise eyes landed on her figure briefly before turning towards the window. Sana could've sworn she felt the temperature of the room plummet a few degrees, much like her spirits. We'll be seeing each other every day now. The thought gave her a flicker of hope. Sana wanted nothing more than to have her friend back. He'd avoided her like the plague during their final year of middle school. Sharing a class meant that he would be forced to acknowledge her at some point, so until then, all she had to do was wait.
The classroom had rapidly filled up while the girls had been chatting with Kirishima and Kaminari. When Sana finally returned to her seat a few minutes before the bell, she was surprised to find that a majority of the desks were now occupied, including the one directly in front of her. The only defining feature she could make out was his spiky, ash blonde hair. Sana gingerly reached out to tap his shoulder, only to quickly retract her hand as he whipped around to glare at her.
"The hell do you want, extra?" A low, raspy voice flowed over her, vermilion eyes burning into her own.
Sana took a moment to admire the boy's features. He had a well-defined jaw, though his cheeks still held some baby fat. Straight white teeth were bared in a grimace. His skin was smooth and golden, which further complimented his fair hair and brightly colored eyes. He was very attractive, despite the permanent scowl on his face. He looked familiar too, like she'd seen him before, though she was sure they'd never met until today. I'm positive that I've seen that untamable hair somewhere...
Then his words finally sunk in.
"I have a name, you know." Sana grit her teeth while maintaining a saccharine smile. "Sana Sakano."
His eyes narrowed even more at her response. "You think I give a shit? You're just another stepping stone on my way to the top." He tsked before turning to face the front of the room once again. Plum-red irises glowed faintly as she imagined her eyes burning holes through his obnoxiously large head. The universe is really testing me today.
The blonde then proceeded to lean back and prop his feet up on the desk, which immediately earned him a lecture from a certain blue-haired student. "Take your feet off of that desk now!" Iida demanded.
"Huh?" The blonde leaned back in his chair languidly.
With him so close, Sana caught a sweet scent clinging to his hair and clothes. Is that... caramel? She almost snorted at the irony. A sweet smell to balance out the sour attitude, maybe?
"It's the first day and you're already disrespecting this academy by scuffing school property, you cretin!" Iida continued to scold him, not that the boy sitting in front of her seemed to care.
"You're kidding me, right? Your old school put a stick up your ass or were you born with it?"
Sana slapped a hand to her mouth, shoulders shaking with muffled laughter at his brazen attitude. Next to her, Jirou also struggled to hide her amusement. Who is this guy?! Seriously, is he bold or just plain stupid? She wondered, trying and failing to compose herself. He's making enemies before class has even started!
As Iida tried to diffuse the ticking time bomb that was... whoever the guy was, Sana noticed a small, green-haired boy frozen in the doorway, watching the odd interaction with wide, fearful eyes.
The two stopped bickering and turned as the class fell into a hushed silence. Everyone was looking at the freckled teen, muttering amongst themselves.
What's going on? Sana looked around the room curiously. She heard someone mention the boy's performance during the entrance exam. Ahhh, so that's it. Sana tilted her head, observing the average-looking boy. At first glance, he seemed pretty ordinary. He didn't appear to be a threat, but she knew all too well that looks can be deceiving. Well whatever he did must have left quite an impression.
The broccoli-haired boy, Izuku Midoriya he would later introduce himself, was visibly flustered with all the attention suddenly focused on him. Iida walked over to him and the two exchanged a few words. Sana heard a low growl coming from the gremlin she had the honor of sitting behind for the rest of the year. If looks could kill, there was no doubt that Midoriya would already be six feet under. Hmm. Sana glanced back and forth, noticing a tension between the two. Do they, perhaps, know each other?
A girl with a brown bob and pink cheeks soon entered the scene, throwing exaggerated punches as she babbled happily with Midoriya and Iida. The trio stood in the doorway of the classroom and spoke for a few moments before-
"If you're just here to make friends, then you can pack up your stuff now." A deadpan, disembodied voice silenced the entire room. Turning slowly, they noticed an extremely sleep-deprived man with long, raven hair lying in a mustard-yellow sleeping bag on the floor.
"They'll really let just anyone in here nowadays, huh?" Sana leaned forward to whisper teasingly beside Blondie's ear. When he turned to snarl at her, she gave him an innocent, close eyed smile.
"Welcome to U.A's hero course." The rugged-looking, ebony-haired man fished out a juice box from the depths of his sleeping bag, downing it in one gulp. Sana was both fascinated and horrified by the sight.
Where was he keeping that this whole time?!
The disheveled-looking man reluctantly climbed to his feet and removed himself from the sleeping bag. "It took eight seconds before you all shut up. That's not gonna work. Time is precious. Rational students would understand that." He assessed the class with hooded, bloodshot eyes. "Hello, I'm Shouta Aizawa. Your teacher." This guy is a Pro? Sana observed him closely, but still couldn't identify the hero. "Right, let's get to it." He rifled through his sleeping bag before pulling out a gym outfit. "Put these on and head outside."
How is he storing so many things in there? Sana was in awe of this man. Is this Hogwarts or U.A?!

Today on things I would write if I could write a fucking fic: all the Todorokis are gay!
I came up with this ridiculous thing when I started thinking about the various ships I have for the Todorokis.
So Endeavor is improving himself as a human being, enough for one of his children, probably Fuyumi, to come out to him as gay. She’s either dating Mirko or my own vague OC because I’m in love with her (I know I don’t talk about it enough). He’s ok with it, honestly, he does actually like her girlfriend and so long as she’s good to Fuyumi he can manage. Is he still a little against same sex couples? Yeah but he’s trying.
Now I’m not sure if Shoto or Natsuo would come out next, maybe Enji finds out about Shoto and Izuku (or Sero cause I have some weird ships) and in order to take the heat off his little brother Natsuo admits he’s dating a guy as well.
Here’s where things get complicated for me because when I first came up with this it was supposed to be NatHawks because Hawks is basically Endeavor’s best friend and having the guy date his son would be awkward BUT I’ve recently fallen into NatShig because I can and will ship Shigaraki with anyone. But I was supposed to have not-actually-dead-Touya Dabi be with Shiggy (and I don’t ship DabiHawks because my brain said no when I asked) so I’m not sure who I’d give Dabi if this were NatShig.
So either way Enji discovers all his kids (even the dead one) are gay. Then Rei hits him with divorce papers because she’s found someone she’s truly in love wit. Or they’ve already divorced and she’s introducing her new someone, Inko Midoriya. His ex-wife is also a lesbian. He is the only straight Todoroki. And of course he’s already screwed his family over before all this and they’ve all moved out into their own house so Enji is all alone in his big house while his family has parties and holidays with their significant others. And he realizes he ruined his life in pursuit of All Might, who goes over to Enji’s family’s house for these get-togethers with his own husband Eraserhead, and Endeavor swears he’s getting over his homophobia but All Might still makes him feel the same things he did when he was first starting out as a hero.
Internalized homophobia’s a bitch.

The picture-box
Day 2: Memories of Zenyuki week 2017. This was the reason why @thebookfreak and I decided to make a collab. We had this idea that they were looking at pictures and telling their children stories about each picture. Sadly, @thebookfreak will post hers a little later because she had to draw quite a few pictures for this day. I’ll link her post after it’s posted. I hope you will enjoy this fic!
Fandoms/Crossover: Akagami no Shirayukihime, Boku no Hero Academia Ratings: G No warnings Characters: OC, Fuyumi, Shoto, Zen, Shirayuki; mentions Izana, Mitsuhide and Kiki Word count: 1,258 Genre: Humour, romance, domestic life, fluff
“Can I look at some of Zen and Shirayuki’s photos?”, asked Fuyumi her eldest brother. “I want to draw something for them and I need some inspiration.” “Why do you need to draw something for them?”, the redhead wondered out loud while he was sitting on the family sofa with his wife Takara (who is Mitsuhide and Kiki’s daughter).
They came to visit for a family dinner and were waiting for Zen and Shirayuki while they were out shopping for groceries. Even though they were already adults, Shirayuki loves to spoil all of her children with food. Additionally, they wanted Takara to relax since she just received news of her pregnancy.
Fuyumi only rolled her eyes at him. “I don’t get how you even managed to marry Takara with that brain of yours. It’s mom and dad’s wedding anniversary tomorrow. How could you forget something like that?”, she explained and flicked her white hair with some red strands. Akira’s eyes suddenly widened in realisation as the fear slowly settled in. “Damn it! I totally forgot that. Can you share your gift and put our names in it as well?”, he said desperately. “I already anticipated something like that would happen. I already bought an elaborate gift from all of us. But now you guys owe me ten dollars each,” she revealed. “Now show me some pictures.”
“Ok wait. I need to look for the picture-box,” Akira stated and looked around Zen and Shirayuki’s living room for the aforementioned box. “But isn’t it a little late to draw something?”, he asked after he found the brown carton box and sat back down on the couch. “Just show me the pictures, you are being annoying,” Fuyumi denoted and sat next to him.
Akira slowly opened the box and dusted off the lit. The box revealed different sizes of pictures scattered around. He randomly picked out a picture and burst out laughing. “This is one of my favourite pictures from Dad. He still couldn’t control his ice quirk and randomly froze his hair,” He explained. “Well, you weren’t any better with your explosion quirk”, Fuyumi teased. “You almost burnt down this entire building. Luckily Izana was here to stop the fire. In comparison to you I had my quirk in perfect control.” Akira only raised one eyebrow at her and looked at her pointedly until she relented. “Ok fine! It was one time that I accidentally made it rain in here, but I was mad at Yuki and you.” “Dad scolded us for days because you are his princess,” Akira complained while he searched for another picture related to quirk incidents in this family.
He triumphantly held out a picture of Shirayuki before her wedding. “Mom accidentally set her hair on fire because she was a ball of nerves according to Kiki,”Akira retold. “I remember that. Mom told us very animatedly how much she almost thought the dress was on fire when she looked at Shirayuki,” Takara added. “Mom looks so beautiful in this one. Is there another one with Zen and Shirayuki during the ceremony?”, Fuyumi asked and looked through the various pictures until one with Zen in it captures her attention. “Is this dad with a frying pan that is on fire?”, Fuyumi stated and all three started laughing in unison.
“Hey! What are you guys laughing at?”, Yuki and Shoto asked after they appeared behind the sofa. Fuyumi showed them the picture and all five start to laugh again. “Oh my god, no wonder dad never cooks,” Yuki stated and took the picture to inspect it more closely. “There are so many funny pictures of Mom and Dad. Oh, here is one with Mitsuhide and Kiki!”, Akira exclaimed and pulled out a rectangular shaped picture where the aforementioned people are sitting with Zen and Shirayuki on this very couch they are seated right now. All of them were smiling brightly at the camera and looked extremely happy sitting like that.
Before any of the children could comment on the picture, they heard the front door open and revealing Zen with grocery bags. “Do you need help?”, asked Shoto while coming over to help his father. Soon the others followed while Akira put the pictures back in the box and left the box on the couch. “We will take over cooking while you two relax. You deserved it,” stated Fuyumi and kissed Zen’s cheek.
“But what if you guys burn the kitchen down?”, Shirayuki questioned worriedly. “Don’t worry about it, Mom. We won’t be as bad as Dad at cooking. Have some faith in us,” Akira reassured them while his wife led Zen and Shirayuki towards the living room. “If you want to, you can sit here and look at some old pictures. For old times’ sake,” Takara interjected and both of them reluctantly let their daughter-in-law lead them to the couch.
“Isn’t that our picture-box?”, Shirayuki asked while taking the box and putting it on her lap. “It has been so long since we last looked inside here.” Shirayuki slowly and carefully opened the box as if she was holding a baby while Zen draped his arm over her shoulder. His wife almost couldn’t contain all the memories flooding her mind and tears started to pool in her eyes which she tried to blink away. “Do you remember the time when we had our graduation dance after we finally graduated from uni?”, Shirayuki asked nostalgically. “Of course I do! That was the night I proposed to you,” Zen answered affectionately and kissed Shirayuki’s cheek.
“Aww, look at this picture of Mitsuhide and Kiki at their wedding!”, the red-haired exclaimed. “It’s so rare to see Kiki this affectionate in general, but this picture alone says so much about both of them. The way they look at each other and their body language says so much about their love. It doesn’t seem to be as apparent, but it’s there when you look more closely.”
After looking through some more pictures they finally find some picture of their own wedding day. Zen couldn’t help himself after he saw them kiss on their wedding. He lightly turned her chin towards him and softly kissed Shirayuki on her lips. Their kiss was very soft and sweet and both of them took in their respective scents. Zen let her feel all his love and affection towards her through this one kiss. Shirayuki gripped the box a little tighter and tilted her head a little more, while Zen tightened his grasp around her shoulders but kept his hold on her chin light.
They broke apart when the need for air was too great and Zen leaned his forehead against Shirayuki’s. “I love you. I will always love you,” Zen whispered and closed his eyes to inhale her scent. The scent of wood and freedom, but also of the fire that burned inside of her. “I’m so happy and glad to have you and all our children in our life,” Shirayuki answered and added almost inaudibly an ‘I love you’.
They stayed like that for a while, taking the other person in and enjoying the moment together, until their children called for them to come to the dining table.
Going on a trip back to the past made them nostalgic and remember all those beautiful moments and memories they have gathered over the years. But most importantly, they were going to continue making memories in the future with their kids, good and bad ones; as long as they are together.
Well guys, guess what happened after I finished the post. I accidentally didn’t click the right button and all my work was deleted. Luckily I had a backup on my laptop.  If there are any spelling or grammar mistakes, please do tell me. It’s 1 am, I am tired and this thing took longer because I was so stupid that I didn’t know how to properly save this.
For clearance: Z and S have four children: Akira (OC, means spark, related to his quirk), Yuki (OC, means snow, also related to his quirk), Fuyumi (BnHA) and Shoto (BnHA). Quirk is a special, superhuman ability an individual can possess and is genetically inherited from either one or both of their parents.  Zen obviously has an ice quirk and Shirayuki a fire quirk.  (If there are any questions, feel free to ask).
EDIT: I FOUND THE FREACKING FIRST POST IN THE SCHEDULED POSTS 10 MINUTES AFTER I FINISHED THIS SECOND POST! WHAT THE HECK TUMBLR?! I’m too lazy to morph these two posts together, but it made me think in how many different ways we can express ourselves...

Todoroki Family Ties Parts 5-6
Todoroki Family Ties Part 7
Part 1
being endeavors second wife/ touya and shoto’s stepmom and having to watch him push them to hard with training them and it’s like “*sigh* don’t get involved don’t get involved don’t get involved” but then shoto gets tired and (he lil and so cute so it’s like ahh why do dis enji why) endeavor is like getting all ‘grrr get up you’re not done yet’ and so then step mama to the rescue, leapin into action, runnin to get between enji and shoto and picking him up and being like “Okay that’s enough!! You guys are done for the day, you can go inside it’s okay. Good job, boys!” and shoto and touya go inside and it’s like “I’m not even gonna turn around just yet.... because I know what look you’ll have on your face, Enji.” *turns around* “See? I was right. You’re upset. But I don’t feel like arguing right now. Maybe later.” and then going inside to make snacks for the kids.
Part 2
so it’s later, touya and shoto are asleep, stepmama and enji arguing in bed:
🔥: “What did you think you were doing involving yourself like that? These are my boys and dammit they /will/ be number one.”
✨: “Oh for god’s sake, Enji, they’re children!! You said it yourself, they’re boys!! You need to be easier on them.”
🔥: “Listen. You’re quirkless. Sure. It’s not your fault. But that’s exactly why you should stay in your place. You’re just a replacement. Someone to take care of us while I work with them to become pro heroes. You’re nothing special.”
✨: “....You’re such a dick, Enji. I’ll admit you knew how to be sweet when we first met. But I guess this wasn’t how I was expecting to find out you were an actor.” *getting up* “I’m sleeping in Shoto’s room tonight because, honestly, I’d hate to sleep next to someone like you. All bark and all bite.”
Part 3
stepmama gets up and goes to the door, but, before she can open it, Enji puts his hand on the crack of the door so S.M. can’t open it.
“Move, Enji. Now.”
She could her a low growl from him as his anger started to build. But she wasn’t phased by it.
“I don’t even really wanna turn around. I already know how you’re looking at me. With those angry blue eyes that you for some reason think are intimidating.”
Still. She turned around and look at him. Almost exactly as she pictured it in her mind. The only thing different, was the different, was the fact that before she turned she heard what sounded like a campfire starting, and wouldn’t you know it, there it was. A little flame in the palm of his hand.
“What are you gonna do, Enji? Burn me like Shoto? Like Touya? Kill me? Like your wife?”
In 3 seconds, that flame was out and that hand was holding her against the door and at eye level to him. Some pressure around her throat. She could still feel a little bit of warmness from where his hand was previously lit.
“As I previously stated, you’re nothing but a quirkless replacement meant to serve me and my children. You don’t get a say in how I raise them to become Heroes and you sure as hell don’t get to talk about my past with such an attitude. I should crush you windpipe right now.”
“Y’know.... *struggle* Fire needs oxygen. Without it, it simply doesn’t burn. It’s useless. For a pro-hero, and seen as such by so many in the public, you’re really acting like a useless villain right now. *struggle* I don’t know why citizens look up to you other than the fact that after that shit with killing your own wife, got me to be your new cover. You needed everyone to think that you had grown past that. You’re “a new family man” or whatever the hell you told all those damned journalists. Your fire is your reputation, Endeavor. And I’m your oxygen. So kill me if you want to.... *grabbing his wrist* but think about what that means for you in the face of the public. Quirkless or not, you’ve put me in a big powerful position and I can fuck everything up for you very easily.”
Enji wasn’t just mad anymore. He was irate. Especially since she was right. He needed her to keep him in the good spotlight. He decided it wasn’t worth it. This time.
“Just shut up and do what you’re supposed to. I’m going to bed and you should too. Sooner than later.”
When he let go, she fell to the floor. Her throat finally felt relief again and she rejoiced with panting for new air. It was weird. She had seen his worst before, but there was something about this time. As soon as she realized she was fine, for now, her eyes flowed with tears. But she wasn’t sad? She was.. scared? But not in the moment scared. Scared as in she can’t believe it happened even though it’s not out of character for him. There was nothing left to say and frankly her throat hurt too much to say anything else. She just got up and laid back down in bed. Right next to him.
She continued to silently express her upset which almost raised in volume a little bit more when she felt him turnover and wrap an arm around her waist and pull her closer to himself a little bit later. He was asleep then and it helped ease her mind but still. Tonight, after talking to him like that, she felt so lucky to still be alive.
Was she really gonna be the second one? Was she going to need to be replaced? At the same time she wanted to know, she also didn’t want to know. For now, she’d hopefully wake up tomorrow. And she wasn’t exactly sure about what pushed her to do it, but she turned, quietly and gently, gave him a kiss on his stupid hothead.
“Sweet dreams, you slimy son of a bitch.”
And they were both asleep.
However, Touya didn’t like what he had just heard through the door.
‘Hmph. Shouldn’t have let a back talking bitch change his mind so easily. How weak....”
That was a thought in his mind as he headed back to bed.
Part 4
The next day, stepmama stayed home with Touya while Enji took Shoto to train more away from home. she took this time to clean the house, do dishes, and laundry. when that was done, she took a break and read a book while on the living room couch. there was no noise but a presence, when she turned to see what it was, it was Touya.
“Oh! Wow, you scared me, T. What’s up?”
He waited a bit before he spoke, and in an emotionless but slightly inquisitive voice he asked an ominous question.
“If I threatened to burn you alive, would you believe me?”
Her face twisted to that of someone confused. A little bit of fear mixed in with it.
“W-....what? Why would you ask that?”
“Would you try to stop me? Or would you just hope with all your sweet, kind, innocent little heart for me to just let you go?”
There was no possible way that could be misheard. The shock in her mind was almost stunning.
“Touya. What are you talking abou-“
“I HEARD EVERYTHING LAST NIGHT!! He’s such a coward. An asshole. You speak to him like that and he lets you live, but my mother simply resists and he murders her? You don’t deserve to still have your life, you worthless little mouse. Maybe.... Maybe I should get rid of you myself. Maybe that’ll show him my strength, my power!!”
During his little speech, she felt guilt, fear, and regret from the things he said. Maybe he was right. Why did she get to live but not Rei? Was he just going to kill her sometime sooner, and in a way worse way? Why hasn’t she left yet?
‘This is no time to question these things. What did he say? He’s going to get rid of me? Oh.... o h.’
“T, please-“
“IT’S TOUYA TO YOU, BITCH!! Now hold still. I don’t wanna burn down the house if I miss!!”
While she scrambled to the corner, he tried to get closer and closer to increase his chances of firing at his target. Waves of heat could be seen with the illuminating blue glow from his cremation quirk.
Unfortunately, she ran out of space to go and if you learn anything in a home of fight training, you never turn your back on your opponent. He continued to reach toward her, his hand so close that the heat was making her sweat.
“This is for my mother. YOUR WORTHLESS ASS WILL NEVER BE HER!!”
‘Is this it? Is this the end? Killed by the angry Enji’s angry son? I guess it’s fair? It doesn’t matter. I give up. If this is what he wants, than who am I to say no?’
If there’s one thing a villain’s gonna do, it’s talk for way longer than necessary. Because all of that talking, gave Enji enough time to return home and tackle Touya.
“TOUYA!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! YOU’RE GROUNDED, YOU HEATHEN!!”
He got off of him and picked him up, carrying him to his room. Out of nowhere, Shoto ran in and hugged her. He seemed to be in a little distress so she comforted him, it kind of gave her comfort.
“A-Are you okay? I heard him going talking about it all night. So this morning I was prepared to call my dad. I’m so sorry.”
She held onto him a little tighter first, just happy that she still had the ability to hug someone.
“It’s okay. It’s not your fault. Thank you for saving my life.”
Dinner was anticipated to be awkward that night but Enji made Toya stay in his room without dinner. Shoto was eager to sit next to his stepmom and it was a pretty nice time.
Enji, or at least as she knows him, wasn’t much for showing emotion other than anger or concern these days. But he did smile a little whenever his youngest and his partner would act a little silly at the dinner table. He did reprimand them whenever he was almost caught with a little smirk on his face but by the end he gave in. Together they put Shoto to bed, nothing but sweet “goodnights”, “I love you”’s, and “sleep well”’s.
Even though it was only hours after Touya tried to kill her, she still felt bad that he didn’t get to eat with them. She fixed him some dinner and left it outside his door, giving a little knock to notify him. She’d taken five steps before she heard the door quietly open and close. When she turned around, the bowl was gone. There was a quiet, muffled “thanks.” that made her smile before she continued to bed.
After her and Enji had settled down for the night, there was peaceful quiet. Until he sighed.
“I.... I haven’t been completely honest with you about something. I need to let you know and I’m ready to now.”
She looked up at him and sat up.
“What is it, Enji?”
He had been looking at the ceiling but switched to looking at her.
“I need you to promise you won’t be mad.... and that you’ll let me explain.”
That made her a little nervous but not too bad. Maybe it wouldn’t be too big of a deal. She still listened intently
“I promise.”
He looked away from her. Back at the ceiling.
“Rei is alive.”
That was a complete shock. And that was the look on her face. Shock.
“She’s.... alive?”
