Alright before I have to see someone else misunderstanding this

as bad writing or Playboyy being like 'tall guy must be top always'! No... he is literally complaining about other people who judge him... it's his experience!

He is saying his dating life is difficult because of his height. Might be surprising to some but LGBTq folks can be sexist and toxic masc as well. So some exclusive tops (yes, exclusive tops and bottoms exist) may not like to be with a bottom who's taller. (this mindset exists with hetero cis men too who don't date girls who are taller than them / or many women don't like dating men who are smaller... that is often rooted in sexism but sometimes may just be not that deep preferences)

But yet if he's trying to be the top in the relationship they would complain about his D size. Which also surprise: a big D is not as badass as society makes it seem for some reason. Like at some point it can become uncomfortable or painful for the one who receives.

And the "It's funny" is simply that because his size is ideal for porn and fetish but apparently not asked in RL.

And in conclusion that makes Nuth his perfect partner because he is tall too, is into Phop as he is and likes to switch with him even.

“The Lean, High House of the Gnoles“ by Sidney H Sime, from Lord Dunsany’s story “How Nuth Would Have Practised His Art Upon the Gnoles” in his collection The Book of Wonder, 1912.  For this volume Sime drew the illustrations first, then Lord Dunsany wrote stories to match them, inventing the name “gnoles” for these creatures and deciding that the humans actually were the intruders in this scene.  Gary Gygax acknowledged Lord Dunsany as the initial inspiration for his own gnolls in D&D, and listed the author in AD&D’s Appendix N.

Nuth held his hand up against the sudden light. Mercilessly, the sun stung in his eyes. Even the air tasted different from the square courtyard surrounded by gray walls.

Stumbling, he took a step forward. His legs trembled. It was over. The weeks and months passed. A shocked laugh fell from his lips.

He was free.

"Nuth!" The force hit him before he could stretch out his arms. The upper body nestled warmly against his.

So warm. So alive.

Nuth wrapped his arms around him. No prison in the world would ever have been able to remove this reflex from him.

Pressing against him, feeling the ribs under the shirt, the marks of withdrawal clear on his hand. His fingers hunted over every birthmark, every muscle of the slender body, up to the narrow pearl necklace.

Tinkling, he bumped against the golden "N". "You kept it..." A warm hand clasped his.

"I never took it off."

Phop lifted his fingers and breathed a soft kiss against his knuckles. "I missed you."

Nuth reached for the back of his neck. He needed to feel it, to sense it, he needed to know it was real. Phop smiled, patiently, with that same shine in his eye.

A shaky, faint breath escaped Nuth's lips. "You're here..."

Gently, Phop leaned forward until their foreheads touched.

"Come..." he whispered, outside the walls of the place that had kept Nuth from him for so long.

"Let's go home."
