Dawn of the Nundead | Aka-san | Chapter 2 | Body reaction

Aka-san was minding his own business, just being the good child that he is, when suddenly there’s a huge commotion and he finds himself at a staircase, suddenly freezing in place. Oh. Oh.

He feels a huge flurry of emotions all at once. 

Thank god it’s not someone I care about - Oh god someone died - thank god this means the motive is over - oh fuck someone killed - at least I’m fine, chase is alive - oh my fucking god there’s a dead body here what are we gonna-- 

Feeling dizzy, especially after his constant crying for the past two days, it takes him a while to register anything going on. He snaps at the mention of someone offering to pay them but when he realizes it’s about carrying the corpse, he instantly blocks it out. Plus, it’s this world’s money, not the money he needs. So fuck. 

His confusion rises even further when he's handed an autopsy file and given details on the trial, but not enough for him to actually digest anything at all. 

“...What...? Wait, we’re supposed to pull off some sherlock shit?? Like, for real-for real...?” This is stupid. Why is this a thing? Who thought of this?? Why’d anyone ever decide shoving a bunch of teenagers to solve some self-caused murder mystery was a decent idea??? 

.....How the hell is he even supposed to know where to start? He feels like he's made his status as a useless idiot abundantly clear.
