HEAR ME OUT! GHOST NEXUS AU! BJT ONLY TAURUS CAN SEE HIM!

So to explain.... Whenever Taurus visits the fam or trains with Lunar, he sees ghost Nexus looming over his family...

Just watching and staring at them with a look of slight sadness and anger.

The reason Taurus can see Nexus is cuz:

Since Nexus was infected by NSP... I imagine that even in death, the scent of it is still sort of attached to him so I imagine Taurus can see him because of the NSP that is still attached.

Nexus' ghost has a lot of scorch and burn marks from when Sun blew him up and his left eyes is completely blacked out.

Taurus will sometimes try to speak with Nexus but it's always to no avail as Nexus isn't much of a talker.

So a few days ago came up with an AU where Asterix as a baby gets infected with NSP and it's really sad and I told @gummysunnybear about it and we both cried... Basically Asterix (Sun x Taurus child) as a baby gets kidnapped by Cetus and held hostage until the astrals give them what they want so to cut the chase Asterix gets hit with NSP and is in pain...

I'm still working on it and here's a snippet: (P.S my writing is not good and I wrote this while texting so sorry not sorry if you don't like it)

"I gave you what you wanted, Cetus.... Now give me back my son." Taurus yelled out to Cetus who was sitting down on his throne or what was supposed to be a throne.

Cetus looked at Taurus confused till he realized something and threw his head back in a wicked laughter as if taunting the horned astral... Cetus stopped laughing, wipeing a tear from his eye and looked at Taurus with a grin.

"Oh Taurus... Did you really think a being like me would follow what I promised." He said as he turned to the infant in his arms as the negative power flowed to his hand.

"NO!"

But it was to late as Cetus struck the infant in his chest with a bolt of negative star power. Taurus shot his own bolt at Cetus as he grabbed Asterix and teleported out of the pocket dimension.

Taurus teleported back to Earth, holding his son close to his chest, breathing heavily as his son wailed in pain. "It's alright Asterix.... I'm here..." He whispered. He pushed back the blanket to check for any injuries. His eyes widened as he saw the damage...

Around Asterix's glowing core were dark veins spreading throughout his chest. The veins coursing with negative star power throughout the infant astrals body. Taurus felt something he never thought he could feel as he felt what could only be described as tears...

He felt fear....

Basic Starting Info:

• Sun (from the original SAMS dimension) is the main target of Nexus and his little group for his Wither Shard abilities. Gains group is trying to protect him (maybe less protect to some of them, make Nexus lose out of spite or pettiness)

• Antumbra and Nexus revive Apollo, immediately infused with Negative Star Power thanks to both being rebuilt in Soltices dimension

• Antumbra, Soleil, Nexus, Equinox(?) Have their own group. Gaia, Cosmos, Erythros and Sanguine, Deimos, Blackout and Grimm have their own group against Nexus

• Antumbra turned when he decided to leave with Nexus

• “I’m Not Me” and “A Familiar Safe Haven” are canon to the au as well as any future fics written for the au (may have a few exceptions, will try to remember to label what is or isn’t canon, “Rekindling With A Spark” and “What Do You Think Of Me Now?” are not canon to the AU)

Origins/Backstories:

• Starts with Solar leaving with Nexus, taking the shards Moon and Sun had found with them. The shards (one of which was given to Solar to help him withstand and absorb and use the new dimension’s NSP/Dark Star Energy- he wears the crystal fixed into the back of one of his work gloves, Nexus has his in the fur of the tip of his hat). Following his leave Solar changed his name to Antumbra and rebuilt his Sun, now named Apollo. Eventually Antumbra tried reviving his Moon, now named Deimos, as well but something went wrong (Nexus figured Deimos somehow regained/retained his memories of Solar and that he hated him- even Apollo couldn’t convince him to stay) so he left and eventually joined Gaia and Cosmos.

• Gaia leaves when her system overrides and takes her to her father with star power she absorbed mostly from being around Lunar, a majority of it built up from the barely missed attack from Nexus. When she returned to him, however, she was able to harness her energy and kill the Creator, leaving everything behind afterwards.

• Lunar was next due to his encounter with rez. Due to having positive star power throughout his body it took a little longer than expected for them to be infected. When it did finally take hold, he behaved differently. When Gemini heard of this they went to investigate, and Lunar tried to kill them. This caused them to lock Lunar in a special compound that was incredibly if not impossibly hard to break out of. They were working with Taurus and Libra to try and find a cure for Lunar when Gaia came along to break him out and take him with her.

• Erythros went rogue after Stitchwraith was killed, leaving corpses in their wake yet no trace of where they were heading, only where they’d been. When Frank separated them and they discovered and started using star power their murdering doubled. It all came to a head when Stitchwraiths spirit came along to complete unfinished business, one last act of spite and vengeance. Sanguine (V1 Bloodmoon) tried to attack and failed,denial he just accepted it as his twin being back where he belongs in his head. Gaia eventually found them, and despite their previous encounters Gaia allowed them to stay as their group. They accepted, but only because they would be able to still be on their own when they weren’t playing guard dog to anyone.

• Eclipse, at first, didn’t go, trying to find a way to bring Earth back to their side. However he caved easily when she came to him and offered him star power again, offered to help him properly harness it this time. Thanks to his previous and current use and exposure to star power and negative energy, it caused his body to mutate in a more drastic way than just his eyes or lines on his body- his legs changed to furry hooves, he grew a second set of arms, as well as a tail and horns curving along his head between his rays.

• Grimm was restored by Deimos, breaking him from his previous life as a goody two shoes, reactivating the killer in him. His knowledge of star power made it fairly easy for him to grasp and use it for himself. Most of his time is spent with Erythros, Blackout, Deimos, Soleil, and Cosmos. He’s also become rather protective of Gaia (he spends time with her, almost taking a fatherly role for her, Erythros and Blackout)

Weapons/Abilities/Roles

• Soleil uses magic infused star power, tends to hang in the back lines making plans, uses a magic enhanced scythe.

• Deimos does some dirty work hunting with the others, hangs back sometimes with Soleil making plans or working on tech, uses a magic and negative star power infused Warhammer (Shao Khan style).

• Blackout works closely with Gaia and Cosmos, acting as a sort of general, giving orders and going out to hunt or work plans with Soleil and Deimos, uses a negative star power infused sword.

• Gaia is the main leader of the group with Cosmos and Grimm, top in command of their “family”(in the same way mafia members will call each other a family despite having no relation), still somehow the nicest of the bunch, uses a magic infused crossbow.

• Cosmos is the second in command to Gaia,

her right hand man, he’s a bit iffy working with Blackout and Erythros but can work with them if needed. Uses star power and a magic infused battle axe.

• Erythros is like a lone officer and bodyguard/feral guard dogunless he has to work with others. Closest to Grimm and Cosmos, uses Star Power and enhanced claw braces.

• Grimm tends to stalk and hunt but not kill unless ordered to, plays guard dog with Erythros, uses an enhanced scythe.

• Antumbra hangs back doing mechanic and repair work, stays with Nexus and Apollo most of the time, uses a star power infused mini laser cannon (mounted in his arm)

• Apollo stays with Antumbra most of the time, helps make plans or carry out some repair work, uses a simple pair daggers and pistols.

Random Tidbits/Facts/Miscellaneous Notes

• Old Moon (Astrophel) DOES NOT EXIST

• Soleil went rogue due to his exposure, use and encounters with the Wither Shards, Star Power, and Solstices’ Dragon which he had a strange connection to.

• Psychological, mental or emotional distress can and will make it easier for the Negative Star Power/Wither Shard Energy to infect/take over easier.

• When Apollo, Soleil, or even Antumbra, Solstice or Blackout get overly anxious or shaking they clench their fists together as tight as possible to stop or lessen the trembling. Deimos and Nexus have been able to pick up on this (Blackout will deny it till the day he permanently dies; this habit is also common across every dimensional Sun or Eclips3, though some deny it under “I don’t ever get anxious/scared”)

• Another habit across Suns and Eclipses is when they get too or highly distressed (such as a panic/anxiety attack) they grab and pull their rays like hair. They can and have managed to break or crack their rays doing this due to their robot grip strength (or if they have it) occasionally let off small but powerful bursts of magic thanks to their less stable mental or emotional state.

• Both Suns, Moons, Eclipses, and Lunar have a tendency to dance out emotions (Soleil and Apollo dance out sadness and anger (in that order), Nexus and Blackout anger, Lunar frustration, and Deimos dances out everything that isn't some form of happiness or satisfaction). Soleil will dance with his partners if he isn't feeling too low, will dance alone if he’s too low, Apollo will dance with Nexus or Solar, Lunar with Gaia, Nexus either alone or with Solar, Blackout by himself (he will heavily deny ever dancing at all for any reason but especially to regulate his emotions), Antumbra dances alone or with Nexus, Deimos will dance alone or with Soleil or Grimm

How does nsp work??

Cetus: Well my dear follower... NSP can work in many many different ways... Depending on ranking, abilities before and you're past...

NSP is not just all destruction and chaos as it seems to be! It can also do other things that don't revolve around destroying...

For example... Let's take Rez and... Lady Vera.

Rez for one has the ability to infect those with NSP... Infect inanimate everyday items into monstrous Beasts as long as it's organic! He can tempt people with their desires... Clouding their minds with greed and false truths...

He can infect and spread that infection throughout different species and planets...

While Lady Vera is our healer... Her abilities revolve around the healing factor of dark star power and at times infection depending on her situation and mission

Dark star power can be used for healing but it depends on how much you use... NSP can act at times as a substitute for blood or whatever you might have in you're squishy body. It's healing factor is very surprising... Almost instantly it can close a very open wound with just the snap of you're fingers.

This is mostly due to the difference in faction and ability I have assigned and made.

Rez's powers are mostly associated with infection... Mostly based off of Virgo's own power of healing... While Virgo heals the wounded from infection.

Rez makes that infection spread.

Noctyra's powers are also a good example as her's allow her to explode and destroy different planet. That is technically the main part of NSP... All the others are just different variations I have created with my own power...

I made an au where Taurus joined Cetus when he first created NSP...

Basically this is like a What if? au...

Taurus joined Cetus when he created NSP and is now considered as Cetus' right hand astral when it comes to infecting planets and healer at times.

Taurus in this au has the ability to with just one punch, infect a whole planet with seismic waves, control NSP into his lightning bolts and strike them onto people which infects them and heal Cetus' burns with his lightning which were caused by Leo.

His color palette has changed as well with it being more darker and incorporating more of Cetus' details onto him like a symbol for a sea serpent on his pendent instead of Taurus' constellation.

Also Cetus is courting Taurus in this au and are basically a villain couple.

Adam Freediver Stern is the Steve Irwin of freediving. His contagious enthusiasm has inspired thousands of people to discover the joy of freediving and freedive spearfishing. It was with much excitement that I got on this call with Adam and we had a great time exploring his freediving journey including his struggles overcoming the 'hard charger' mindset and dealing with the resulting issues. We also get into a heap of questions from the Noob Spearo Community and really get into equalizing issues. Same anon, different questions. So, with the life or death scenario stuff, are each of the siblings in a different scenario, and if so, can I ask what those scenarios were? Additionally, a question about the Negative Star Power Infection AU, who's getting infected there?

It was a different scenario for each little duo/trio. Sun and Moon were trapped in a fishing net and likely would've bled to death if Earth hadn't found them and got them out, Eclipse and Lunar were hiding from a group of tiger sharks that Earth scared off, Solar, Nexus, and their Sun were running from two orcas when they met Earth, who let them hide with her, however, their Sun had sustained severe injuries and later died from them. (In this au, Nexus is Solar's moon, so less trauma with Moon just hating him for being alive)

In the NSP infection au, characters that have either been harmed by or harnessed the power of negative star power are infected (I.E. Nexus, Lunar, Earth, Jack, Dazzle, and the creator). The only one to have complete control over their actions is the creator, He has full control over Earth, using her as both a battery and a weapon, and Jack does what he says without question.

Gosh I'm just imagining how messy/sad it would be after everyone's cured. So how's Rez defeated/weakened? Is that mainly done by the Astrals, or another way? I'm assuming Sun, Solar, Moon are all quite busy being psychologically tortured, but is anything else going on with them in this AU? Does Dazzle get to keep Razzle after they're cured, or does Razzle die due to Rez's resurrection being of Dark Star Power, and being cured would take away their life force? Additionally, how aware is Earth when she's being used as a battery for dark star power? Is it just a dream-like state for her as well? Finally, last question - there were a few this time - does the creator die in this AU? For reals this time? (It's completely fine to ramble by the way, I really enjoy reading about this AU!)

It's going to be VERY messy. Everyone who was infected is gonna have some kind of permanent effect from the nsp.

Rez is defeated by the astrals and locked up in space jail(if he's alive).

Dazzle will get to keep Razzle! When the astrals were about to kill them, she was literally clinging to them and crying while trying to push them away, Gemini felt bad for her but also knew Razzle would most likely be killed by the other astrals. Libra had a different thought. Instead of purifying Razzle by removing the negative star energy in their body entirely, they purify them in a literal sense by slowly replacing the negative star power with positive. Razzle was really happy they got to stay with Dazzle.

Earth is like Jack in her awareness of what's happening around her, but she doesn't know it's bad. Her morals and emotions have been shut off and shoved in the back of her head. Her only goal is to do whatever her father says.

Yes, that piece of crap is going to die.

Edit: I completely missed your first question, Sun, Moon, and Solar are all quite busy being tortured mentally. Anything else that's going on with them? Well, Moon and Sun are working on their problems with Eclipse, and Solar is processing the emotions he pushed away for the longest time.

Do the remaining family members know about Lunar's deal in the Negative Star Power AU? If so, what are their thoughts towards him technically causing the start of the negative star power infection? Additionally, how bad is the infection? Is it far-spread or mainly affecting the family? May I ask if this AU has a happy ending? Is the Creator after the rest of the celestial family?

They were informed about it by the astrals! However, Lunar isn't technically the start of it, Nexus is, Lunar was just the catalyst for it to start spreading rapidly and become a serious issue, but they are still very upset with him about it.

It's mainly affecting the family, but there are humans and animals that are infected.

It does have a happy ending! I actually have ideas about how everyone who was infected lives after being cured!

Yes, and no, the creator isn't after them in the sense he isn't focused on them. He only goes after them when they get in his way(which isn't very often).

You mentioned the Astrals not being able to purify the infected, but also that they end up being cured, so I'm wondering, how do they end up being cured? At what point does this AU diverge from canon (roughly)? Do people who were infected differently (Lunar and Jack for example) need to be cured differently in this AU? I'm assuming that Dazzle is under the control of the creator? -- So what does he use her for? Because whilst Jack is skilled with fighting with weapons installed in him, Dazzle doesn't really have anything like that. So does the Creator end up installing weapons into her as well? What happens with the beast? After Dazzle is under the control of the Creator, does it just stop hunting her down?

I haven't fully worked it out yet, but i'm thinking the astrals can't purify them at the current point in time because of Rez, like he has some kind of powerful deal preventing them from being able to remove the negative star power, so they have to either kill or significantly weaken Rez in order to break the seal and be able to purify everyone who's infected.

I think it would take a specific circumstance to cure each individual. (Going off of your example) Lunar would be harder to purify than Jack because he's still conscious of his actions and choosing to make them off his own will, granted he's being heavily and directly influenced by Rez, so it once they deal with him and break the seal it will likely be much easier, Jack is under the creator's control, while he stated he is simply doing whatever the creator says and is technically doing the actions of his own volition, it is still not of his free will, and he is not fully conscious or funny aware of what he's doing, so curing him would likely entail having him experience something that he associates with a strong emotion, something that deeply connects him to the real world. To him, the astrals purifying him would feel like him waking up from a vivid dream. He still remembers what happened, but to him, it didn't feel entirely real. To Lunar, it'd be more like him being brought back from a hallucination, except everything that happened was real.

Dazzle isn't really under his control. It's more like he's manipulating her like he did Earth, using her innocence and need to be cared for against her without her knowing. He doesn't really use her for anything physical since she's too small to really be a physical threat, but he did give her a climbing upgrade so she can get into high up vents. Her knowledge of the Pizzaplex's vent system is useful for him to send drones to see if he can find Eclipse's lab by going through the vents and sending his drones to map out unfamiliar areas and see if they lead to Eclipse's lab. He also uses her to mentally torture Sun. She didn't seem to be able to remember anything properly and manipulated what she could to make her despise Sun. all Dazzle knows is that Sun is the person who hurt her and her friends, who took her away and the other children from July 16th from their families forever, and all she wants with Sun is revenge for her death. Being infected gave her the ability to haunt a person(or animatronic) and make them hallucinate about their worst memories and deepest regrets. So, to the creator, she's just a tool for mental torture, and that's all she's useful for.

The beast has stopped hunting her, but it hasn't stopped being overly attached to her. It's basically a trope of a child who's gained a giant pet monster that will do literally anything to keep them safe or happy(this sounds like SCP-053 and SCP-682's friendship) An attempt to separate them by force was made and resulted in the death/dismemberment of any that tried. Dazzle made it a necklace with the name "Razzle," written on it. Razzle refused to accept being called that at first, still saying they were Dazzle, but after seeing Evelyn being so content being Dazzle, they decided to let her keep the name and accept their new one.

In the Negative Star Power AU, how involved are the astrals? Because of Lunar being infected, have they come back, or are they not involved in this AU? Additionally, how's Sun doing with his child being taken? Did Lunar make a deal with Rez still in this AU, or is he just infected from being bitten by the beast?

The astrals have been trying to help Moon and Solar find a cure. They tried purifying the infected, but for unknown reasons, it didn't work.

Sun's not doing well at all. He wants his little girl back:( He blames himself constantly, and he often disassociates when looking at her drawings, or he cries.

Lunar was infected by making the deal with Rez. While he still had full control over himself, Rez was secretly intensifying his anger and negative emotions, planning to have him lash out on one of the astrals(likely Taurus), but then Lunar accidentally hitting Earth with his new abilities happened, and Rez took that chance to start the infection of the planet.

Hey, with the negative star power AU, will there be a fight in every single purification process? Or just for the final one? Or just the final few/most powerful infected ones? Who are the most powerful infected? Do you have any thoughts on the potential of everything going wrong in your au? Like, if the AU didn't have a happy ending, how would the bad ending go?

There'd be a fight for most of them.

Going off of abilities alone, it's Lunar, the creator, Nexus, and Dazzle. If you mean based on pure physical strength, it's Earth, Razzle, and Jack.

The bad ending would either be everyone gets infected and Rez moves on to a different planet, or Rez gets locked up, but most everyone who was infected dies.

When you say Dazzle's infected in the Negative Star Power Infection AU, do you mean the old body or do you mean Dazzle herself? Additionally, when you say that Earth is being used as a battery, how's that working? Like, is he draining her of her actual battery, or draining her of the dark star power? (Sorry for so many questions)

Dazzle herself is infected along with the old body. She was infected when it broke into the house, Sun wasn't able to get there before it attacked and infected her. I think after she was infected, she forgot about it chasing her around the house trying to attack her. She can only remember up until it asked to be friends. Everything between that and sun chasing the beast out of the house is too blurry for her to remember clearly.

The creator is using her as a permanent NSP power source. He upgraded her moon bracelet to be able to absorb large amounts of negative star power at one time, Earth has full control over how much it absorbs, but there's a minimum, so she cannot turn it off, allowing him to take however much he needs while keeping her under his control since she's constantly absorbing it.
