Vrtim što bi se moglo novo interesantno pogledati - iskoči ova reality serijica. Po principu američke verzije koju sam pogledala pred dva mjeseca, forma dobro poznata. Bliže i draže su mi USA epizode, brazilske se još emitiraju; ipak jedva čekam da vidim kako će se radnja dalje odvijati i tko će pobijediti.

Veoma kratki (23 min) dokumentarac o primjeru dvije masovne pucnjave - Sandy Hook Massacre (2012) i Dunblane (Scotland) massacre (1996). U osnovi dva vrlo slična događaja, ali i vrlo različita, kao što i na samom kraju filma piše, UK je odmah nakon tog događaja provelo strogu reformu o posjedovanju oružja, a u SAD-u znamo što se i dalje zbiva, od spomenutog masakra se dogodilo preko 1600 masovnih pucnjava.

20. ožujka je napokon izašao album. Okej na prvo slušanje, na drugo kužim kompaktibilnost, ali EP ''My Dear Melancholy'' mi je stilski puno draži. Pohvalno je što se Abel prilagodi i izmijeni svakom svom muzičkom periodu. Slušajući ''After Hours'' osobni feeling mi je kao da slušam ''Hollywood's Bleeding'' od Post Malone-a. Top tri pjesme: ''Blinding Lights'', ''Heartless'' i ''Snowchild''.

Lessons From A School Shooting: Notes From Dunblane (2018)

Following the critically acclaimed 'Newtown' documentary, Lessons From A School Shooting: Notes From Dunblane depicts Father Bob Weiss, who in the days following the Sandy Hook Massacre that took the lives of 20 children and 6 of their educators teachers on December 14, 2012, was tasked with the burial of 8 of those children.

In the throes of profound PTSD, he receives a letter from Father Basil O'Sullivan in Dunblane, Scotland where, in 1996 16 school children were gunned down at the hands of an unhinged lone gunman. In the ensuing months, the two priests forge a bond across the Atlantic through a series of letters sharing experiences of trauma and recovery.

Father Basil recalls his own town's efforts to launch the "Snowdrop" campaign that brought about radical gun policy reform in the UK, whereas the US has had no federal reform to date. There have been over 1600 mass shootings since December 2012 in the US. In the aftermath of the tragedy, Father Basil journeys across the Atlantic to bring solace to Father Bob and the community of Newtown.

Not very long, only 23 minutes. Lessons From A School Shooting: Notes From Dunblane. It's on Netflix. I would give it a watch. I have never liked guns or the idea of them and this just goes to show what can be done when harsher gun laws are put in place. This follows Two Priests, One from Dunblane, Scotland and the other from Newtown Connecticut. Dunblane was devastating but laws were put in place to make it incredibly hard to have a licence for a gun never mind owning one in the UK. Newtown was also devastating but little has been done over gun control and still to this day I will go on twitter and see people I follow from America tweeting that another shooting has happened. I have read that one child (around the ages of 5-7) told their parents that they wanted new school shoes because their current ones light up when they walk. Why is that an issue? I loved those shoes when I was younger! Want to know their reason? A shooter can find me when I'm trying to hide because of the flashing lights. A child. Innocent. Worrying about being shot and killed. Just something to think about. "This is one of those moments where presence is the answer." Netflix has unveiled the trailer for a short documentary (only 22 minutes) debuting later this month titled Lessons From A School Shooting: Notes From Dunblane. That's quite a provocative title, but the film is exactly as it says - about how two people corresponded regarding their experiences with school shootings. In the wake of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre that took the lives of 20 first graders and their teachers, local clergymen Father Bob Weiss receives a letter from a fellow priest in Dunblane, Scotland, whose community suffered an eerily similar fate in 1996. From across the Atlantic, the two priests forge a bond through the shared experience of trauma and healing. This is made by the same filmmaker who made the documentary Newtown, about the town recovering from the shooting. This looks like a sad, somber, but very moving film about communities. ›››

Here’s What Comes To Netflix In September 2018

Netflix adds over 50 originals this month. You’ll never go outside again.

Typically, Netflix will only debut one truly notable show a week. On multiple occasions in September, at least two high-profile shows join the service on the same day.

On Sept. 14 alone, Netflix adds over a dozen originals, including new seasons of “BoJack Horseman” and “American Vandal,” along with the premiere of Norm Macdonald’s new talk show.

A few other Nextflix Originals stand-outs include the Emma Stone and Jonah Hill show “Maniac,” the Rashida Jones co-directed documentary “Quincy” and the returns of “Marvel’s Iron Fist” and “The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes.”

On top of the Originals, Netflix also adds many other popular titles including: “Black Panther,” “Groundhog Day,” “Scarface,” “The Breakfast Club,” “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” “Role Models,” “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” and new-to-the-service seasons of “Quantico” and “The Walking Dead.”

As always, a few notable movies leave the service as well. It’s your last chance for “Ghostbusters,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “Man on Wire,” “Moonrise Kingdom” and “The Imitation Game.” Netflix also loses the first two Christopher Nolan Batman movies: “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight.”
