DID YOU EVER TALK ABOUT WHY YOU DESIGNED THEIR HUMAN DESIGNS THE WAY YOU DID i feel like i remember you making a post saying you based it off things they said/did in the show or something but im so fail memory lawl

NOOO I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT HONESTLY BC IM SHY (I know that's wild to say but I have so much art I've done but I've posted barely any of it) plus I haven't even posted all of the designs I've made and probably won't (bc . I'm shy) but I can not so quickly go over some of my thoughts LOL

for ruff i really wanted to channel his original design-- he's very rounded, which makes for an approachable character so i wanted my design to Also feel approachable and friendly :) he's also canonically fat so i really wanted to retain that, its an important character trait to me. Outfit wise, I gave him a suit just to keep that game show host vibe, but in the show he wears so many different outfits that I don't that it matters too much LOL. Visually I took inspiration from his voice actor, jim conroy, as well as other hosts from shows i enjoy (namely drew carey and sam reich) to also keep up that game show host vibe... I've seen a lot of different designs for him and I feel like for the most part there's a lot of traits ppl all use but i don't think ruff would be clean shaven at all (though it's implied in the show he is I don't care. put some hair on that beast) Color wise I literally just color picked from his original design, and the shades of blue are from the show as well. I wanted him and the other designs to have limited color palettes so they're more cohesive!

Blossom is like the exact opposite of ruff, I wanted her to contrast him and be less rounded, so my design for her is made up of a lot of rectangles and triangles. Kinda represents how she's more stable than ruff is LOL since she starts off as ruff's assistant I wanted to give her a kind of secretary look, something simple yet professional compared to ruff's bright colored suit. (Not saying she doesn't have bright colors, but blues are less poppy than orange lol) I also gave her a bow to represent the cat ears... i really wanted to make that part of her design. I saw a lot of people use purple with designs for her, but to be honest i don't see it, her eyes and glasses are closer to the blue color palette in the show so I used a slight indigo for her jacket and then the in show palette for the rest of the colors. I also gave her a pink hair clip as a pop of color because her original design only really has a little bit of pink for her nose. However I also added an orange clip to her design after i got to season 3; my thought behind this was that after she comes back to the show getting an orange clip would represent her becoming true friends with ruff and a permanent part of the show :]

I wanted to represent the friendship and bond between ruff and blossom through the color blue being in both of their designs (as well as a bit of orange) even though they get back at each other a lot their bond is really important to me so I wanted to represent that in their designs. oupy and kity can indeed be best friends forever

-you couldn't quite understand what was going on with him but you reciprocated in every scenario and he was very pleased with that

-when you guys would chill on a sofa and watch tv, he'd lay down and rest his head on your lap and wouldn't say anything and continue watching TV, but he'd still wait for your reaction and sigh happily when you started playing with his hair

-he'd do these little tests to gauge your reactions and to see how you act towards him

-he'd ask a lot about how you feel about relationships and respect and all that, he'd also test you... physically. and by that I mean the sensual hugs, light touches on your thigh and and the looks you'd share meanwhile... the first time you two had dinner with the guys in a restaurant with dim lights. when you felt his hand on your thigh, you looked at him with a raised brow and this lil shit deadass SMIRKED at you but you knew that 2 can play this game and smirked back and moved his hand slightly up and jimin's soul almost left his body. -jimin and you (and everyone else, for that matter) entered a weird stage where you legit didn't know wtf was happening between you

-everything moved fast and yet you didnt know if you guys were going somewhere with this but jimin sure acted like your boyfriend yet didn't go beyond flirting

-and this was getting tiresome for you, but you were still hoping tbh, but you thought that maybe... maybe you were just a welcome distraction for him in all his hectic schedule. but deep down you knew this was your insecurities speaking, but sometimes it got the better of you.

-and things took an ugly turn when jimin tested you again, but in the most stupid way you could ever "test" someone... you've guessed it..... through jealousy.

- that was bc jimin himself got jealous when you were hanging out with yoongi, mostly bc he also remembered what yoongi once said about someone snatching you away from him

-and jimin absolutely hated this situation.... he knew this was irrational and that you could hang out with whomever you wanted & yoongi's obviously like a brother to him..... but jealousy is a very ugly feeling that makes you feel ugly things

-and jimin didn't want neither yoongi nor you to see this side of him so he didn't say anything. he didn't speak to neither of you. was it a good solution? hell no & he knew that. but he had to deal with his temper somehow... he cut you short whenever you tried to talk to him, saying he's busy and such, but you knew he was lying to you for some reason but you still were patient and did your best not to drag him to hell and back for lying to and ignoring you, as he stopped texting you as well. he didnt speak more than necessary with yoongi who only kept his mouth shut bc they was another matter involved. jimin had the idea for this "last test" for you when a new staff member got flirty with him, during a bighit party. you were there, too, in the same room, to be precise and jimin knew this and saw a chance coming, as you were talking to yoongi again who glared back at jimin who intensely kept staring at you two. so this new + drunk staff member came along and started talking with him.... and giggling so obnoxiously that yoongi and you rolled with your eyes at the same time and started laughing when you realized it. jimin wasn't listening to anything in the first place but when he saw you two laughing, he had a snap decision, turned to the staff member and coyly smiled and started flirting. you watched the whole play & jimin knew it, so he added some light touches and nudges here and there and you could feel getting more upset with every minute of this shit-show you were witnessing. yoongi put his hand on your arm and turned you away from jimin and his bimbo and face him instead. you could feel your blood rush to your head which was also apparent to yoongi who consoled you, as he knew of your feelings. jimin mistook the whole situation once again and went for the worst move.

you saw yoongi's glare and turned around only to see jimin holding his little plaything by the waist and them swaying around together. the other members noticed too and namjoon took the lead and quickly moved jimin away from dispatch's newest headline in the making. you turned to yoongi again and said "i'm going home, yoongi, thank you", with a sad smile on your face, and left before he could answer. yoongi quickly rushed out after you, knowing damn well that you'd go home and cry. he managed to catch up and pulled you into a hug, away from all the noise. "that boy is an idiot, but he's so in love with you, trust me on that. he's just being stupid right now", he said patted your back and lowkey contemplating dissing jimin in agust d 2, when he heard the muffled sniffs coming from you. I was around 11/12 yo when 1d became popular here. Their video diaries and the rest of (at that time) British youtube squad (zoella, jacksgap, dan and phil, etc) were my main source to learn English, besides Harry Potter (and from here comes my obsession with the UK). I literally used to watch the vd like they were youtubers and that’s funny bc all the charm of them comes from the fact that they’re normal guys, you could see them interacting and making jokes and laughing and it was so captivating. From the first moment I saw Niall my 11 year old brain went “yes, that one is my boyfriend” skdjdj for several stupid reasons I believe: he was blonde (back when I was a kid I had a preference for blondes but now I like brunettes more lol 🤪), he played guitar, he was funny but also a little shy, he was alllllllwaaaays laughing, we both had braces and in my teen mind that meant we were soulmates or something, he was going for the jb look at first (not many people knows this but I was a diehard jb fan when I was a kid, now I just hate who he become sjjdjddjnd but believe still slaps anyways). I can’t pinpoint an exact moment i said “I’m gonna be a Niall girl” tbh, back in the day people were cruel (people still are cruel lol) and many used to look down on Niall and I took it personal ajhsjsjd it became my duty to protect him from the mean 13 yo girls from my school.

What I like the most is that we both grew up, and he went from a boy I really liked to a man I really liked. In essence niall is still the same normal guy, he still laughs and makes jokes, he still plays guitar all the time (I miss his lives, it was just him staring into the wall and playing any random music 😔), he is still funny and a little shy but he gained confidence, he learned to trust himself and to love himself more which is the same journey I went through (it’s something you really never stop learning but yeah). He is still him but now he’s unapologetic about it, he doesn’t have to give explanations, whoever likes it good and the rest can just go somewhere else. I kinda hate myself for saying this but the hiatus did this, he needed to leave the band (although they are his friends and they love each other so much, they easily upstaged him) to see how much power he had in his own hands, to understand that people were there for him. I still remember all the flicker boom and how insane everything felt, his surprise in his face!!! He couldn’t hide it. I remember the Buenos Aires flicker show and I get so excited because it was one of the best shows I’ve seen, if you can handle Argentina you can handle any show in the world.

I really like Niall, besides all the het jokes I make, because you can see how he matured and we matured together in a way. I grew up and I still like him because he also changed as well, he also grew up and became a better version of himself, someone more confident, more happy, less embarrassed of being who they are. And that’s just extremely relatable for me. I always say I relate to Louis bc we come from very similar families and we both have the big sibling rol, but overall him and I are different in personality. (i’m not very good at remembering faces, and also his hair is also wayyyy longer than before) during that night, i was talking to my friend about how i had a feeling that it was him, but i don’t know if i really want to know if it’s him (bc he seemed close to this girl, and my self-esteem is quite low :c). but i decided that i should just ask him. during the next day, i didn’t see him around often, but i couldn’t quite find the courage to ask him, and i don’t really want to do it infront of my friends. when the camp was nearing to an end, i almost thought i won’t ask him, but man i just went with it, go up to him and awkwardly goes like “wait, did u work in a cafe before?” he seemed hesistant so i thought i got the wrong guy, but NO! IT WAS REALLY HIM! aaaa but we got interrupted again, and one person asked if we were cousins LOL.we didn’t manage to talk alot, but found out we’re in the same school??? but he’s year 3 while i’m year 2. once again, i was really amazed to meet him again such circumstances, and that we were in the same school all along?? i thought i would meet him sometime soon,,, but turns out i was wrong.. i didn’t have any contact of him and once again, as time goes by, i didn’t think much about him again. fast forward early to end jul-early aug, i signed up for a japan uni talk (once again, not something i usually go for but somehow did). on that day, i was thinking about how long i’ve never met café guy but was happy cause i’m over it. but life decides to (idek what life is trying to do to me) bring him back into the picture again! i was waiting for my friend when i suddenly saw this familiar looking guy, i only saw him walking two steps (he’s blocked by a pillar) and i had a gut feeling that it might be him. but this time he was wearing glasses and his hair is short now. after seem peaking around here and there, it turns out it really was him??!?! at that point of time, i was very shy and awkward, it was hard for me to say hi or anything, i was just freaking out. to sum up that day, i basically didn’t manage to say hi to him (regrets :cc). but my friend, managed to find a mutual friend of both of us’s instagram. i went to follow him and found café’s guy instagram eventually!! to sum up, i eventually used my main account to follow him, in which he followed back ( that was like almost a 3 day process uwu). also, i dropped huge hints to lowkey scream *i’m the matcha latte i hope u remember me!!!* aaaa he dm-ed me and ask if im the matcha latte girl!!! we talked abit (not alot really) and (yesterday) he said he’s working but at another chain of the café (which is about 3 mins walking distance to the café i met him & usually go to). he asked what time i was leaving, and since i was meeting my friend, i said around late 5 to 6. he then said his break was only at 6plus, so i thought maybe i can wait a little longer to catch him (but i was a little afraid to meet him as well haha) i was going to pack my bag when he came!!! he immediately came to my table and talked to me!!! but my friend called me so i had to pick up, when it ended, he came back to my table again and we talked for about 20mins?? it was nice talking to him (some context: my mind usually goes blank when making conversations with people!!! >u
