CHANT FOR ÞÓRR.

Viking raiders and East Slavs have maintained a good contact throughout history as the Rurik Dynasty of Norse origin ruled the ancient land of Rus’ from its capital; Kiev, where Scandinavian culture began to mix with the local Slavic. Hence the Slavic god Perun and Norse god Þórr were widely honoured throughout the lands of Norsemen and ancient Slavs.

This chant is solely my own. I translated many words and phrases to Old Norse from various sources in order to produce my own chant that I will be using to tribute him and develop the exchange with my heritage.

"Þróttigr hermaðr, er hēdhra þu. Bliðr viezla fyrir þú ek sjá, þinn megin, makt ok ør-grandr.

In today's 🎥 vlog 🗣️ I’ll explore the controversial topic of de-baptism, when you leave main stream religion and convert into paganism. The goal of this video is to introduce a concept (a theory) that perhaps the Christian Egregore has influence over a person, influencing their thoughts and limiting their pagan or magical practice, to a point, or up until they completely cut the cords, end their contract and detach completely from the rites of baptism given to them at birth. After a long day streaming yesterday, I finished my second tarot card. 02 - Giðya (The High Priestess) This piece features the Nornir; Skuld, Urðr and Verðandi Their names transelate roughly to Present, Past and Future, and in the lore they were responsible for tending the world tree from their well at its roots, where they also weaved the fate of men.

Embracing the Old Norse Religion (Ásatrú, Heathenry, Norse Paganism & Seiðr) 📚 ⚒️ 📕

As someone who began her Norse Pagan path in [2024] while navigating dyslexia & ADHD, studying this practice has been and continues to be a challenge.
