My rating: 7/10

f I had a nickel for every time Tom Kane voiced an eccentric inventor type who, due to one of his inventions turning out in an unexpected way, ended up as a father figure to a group of superpowered children... I would have at least two nickels. Possibly more.

Anyway, this is pretty good fun for what it is. I remember enjoying it as a kid, and still enjoyed it this time.

I wasn’t going to do this one and Love For Sale as they don’t have any original songs, but I love Gaga a lot so here you go, also since these are essentially covers of the original versions I won’t have a lot to say unlike the other albums, enjoy

Anything Goes (originally from “Anything Goes”) sung by Harmony in “The Purple Piano Project”

-this was sung in a mash-up with Anything You Can Do from “Annie Get Your Gun”, this mash-up is incredible, better than the two originals, Harmony was probably the biggest waisted opportunity glee ever had, she’s in the same level of singer as Sunshine and Unique like, girl, take a breath

Cheek to Cheek (originally from “Top Hat”) sung by Sue and Will in “Puppet Master”

-I don’t have a lot to say about this song, the Tony-Gaga version is sweet and very happily, the glee version is also sweet but a lot calmer, we all know Matthew is a good singer but Jane Lynch rocks these slower songs, I also like the montage being all black and white, although Sue Sylvester wearing a dress is still cursed to me

Don’t Wait Too Long (originally by Madeleine Peyroux) sung by Santana Lopez in season 4

-this could be sung either on “Thanksgiving” since the songs covers autumn a lot or in that one episode where it’s snowing and they’re trapped in the apartment which name I don’t remember, this would simply be Santana singing about Brittany, and due to Santa Baby existing we know she can do jazz quite good, there’s also a lyric that reads: “So while my heart’s gay and foolish” and I couldn’t stop laughing

I Can't Give You Anything But Love (originally by Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Field) sung by Blaine and Rachel

-this would be one of the anderberry siblings duets, the vibe of the song really fits the play in “Extraordinary Merry Christmas” but since it isn’t a festive song it could be sung any other time, I don’t remember if these two sung jazz before on the show but they are a powerful duo when it comes to singing so I’m sure they would do good

Nature Boy (originally by Eden Ahbez) sung by Rory Flanagan

-yay first Rory song in these posts, jazz and calmer songs are just his vibe, that’s why he was never included in the previous posts, next album is a country one, let’s see if he appears, anyway, the boy described in the song is just Rory, a boy who wandered land and sea, shy and sad in the eye, that’s my baby boy being described, I also love the flute in the song

Goody Goody (originally by Matty Malneck and Johnny Mercer) sung by Blaine Anderson with Santana Lopez

-this song is a little funny, Tony is the one who does the singing while Gaga just talks in the song, I can totally see Blaine singing this happily and catchy song with his doggy personality while Santana would be the one saying the snarky stuff with her wet cat personality, there’s also a line saying “I’m not a goody I’m a baddy” and it’s so cringe I want to hear Santana saying this

Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye (originally by Cole Porter) sung by Rachel Berry

-this song, unlike most of them , is a Gaga solo, she sings it so peacefully that it reminded me of Rachel’s version of “You are Woman, I Am Man”, which she sang very quietly and peacefully-like, the lyrics fit Rachel’s season 4-5 relationship with Finn, either missing him after their break-up in season 3 or in her denial stage of her grief

Firefly (originally by Cy Coleman) sung by Jane and Mason

-Rory and season 6 newbies on GleeXGaga? Didn’t see that coming. This would be just a silly little duet between the two, both have very strong voices so I don’t think this would be all too hard for them, in fact, I think Mason would kill this song, Jane wouldn’t be too far behind, I’m just not sure if she can sing jazz

I Won’t Dance (originally by Jerome Kern) sung by Mike and Tina in season 3

-this is peak Tike, Mike’s raspy voice would do Tony’s parts well, and Gaga’s parts surprisingly fits Tina’s range, I can totally see them tap dancing around the choir room, out of all couples I think they’re the ones who deserved more duets and singing in general, I mean, it wasn’t until this season that Mike sung in more than 5 songs

They All Laughed (originally from “Shall We Dance”) sung by Matt and Mike

-oh that’s a stretch, so, Matt Rutherford, a character that never sung in the show, why do I see him and Mike singing this? Well, first, there are videos of Dijon singing and he sounds decent enough to deserve a song on the show, second, even tho the song is a romantic duet I can see something similar to “These Boots are Made for Walkin’” from the glee project, where a song with a specific meaning got turned into a dumb-duo song, that’s what I’m going for

Lush Life (originally by Billy Strayhorn) sung by Quinn Fabray in season 1

-Quinn is a very complex character with several different layers, I think her sadness wasn’t really explored in the show, not in a serious way at least, another thing that wasn’t explored was her loneliness, especially during season 1, sure she was popular and I guess Santana and Brittany were her friends but that girl was lonely, not until Mercedes and her became besties

Sophisticated Lady (originally by Duke Ellington) sung by Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman in season 1

-now that I’m thinking about it, Sophisticated Lady kind of goes along with Lush Life, deep inside, Puck was the one that truly knew Quinn, he loved her and always respected her, the song is kind of a POV of a secret admirer seeing his beloved from afar, knowing how she is sad and lonely, but due to respect for her, won’t come near, in Puck’s case, Quinn is expecting his kid, but he respects her and agrees with her lying about the pregnancy, even tho he wants to be present

Let's Face the Music and Dance (originally from “Follow the Fleet”) sung by Holly and Will

-this duo is fire, I already knew Matthew was a terrific singer who could play with melodies and such, but Gwyneth was a surprise, after their tango rendition of Kiss I stopped expecting anything, I knew they would surprise me, well, the surprise never happened, but perhaps this could be it, I really like Holly’s character and I wouldn’t mind if she was a co-coach to the New Directions, definitely more duets from these two would appear

But Beautiful (originally by Jimmy Van Heusen) sung by Adam, Brody, Kurt and Rachel in season 4

-I don’t have a lot to say on this one, Brochel’s duets were always above average for me, Brody has a very good range that I would like to see more of, Adam really only sang once, and his relationship with Kurt was very insignificant, so perhaps a double duet between these 4 would make me care for him

It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing) (originally by Duke Ellington) sung by Ryder and Unique

-Rynique my babes, what would I give to see a relationship between you two, I’m fine with a second duet tho, Unique would kill this song so hard I don’t think I would recover, Ryder could be a hit or miss tho, he has a very raspy voice that could do good here, but it’s kind of hard to be good when Unique next to you, it’s not really balanced

Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) (originally by Cher) sung by Rachel Berry in season 1

-this would be her singing about her relationship with Jesse, how he used her and ended up breaking her heart, as if he (babe) had shot her down and left her to die

On A Clear Day (You Can See Forever) (originally from “On A Clear Day You Can See Forever”) sung by Will Schuester

-this wouldn’t have any secret meaning beneath the lyrics, it would be just Mr Schue happily singing a song as old as time, maybe this could be a song where Sue would appear and just tell him he sucks or something

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered (originally from “Pal Joey”) sung by Mercedes Jones

-this could be either Mercedes singing about one lovely simp Sam Evans or the stud Noah Puckerman everyone says it’s using her but she knows he ain’t, she’s in love either way

The Lady's in Love with You (originally by Burton Lane) sung by Sebastian Smythe with the Warblers

-this would be simply one of those performances the warblers do whenever Blaine decides to go over there, it would be charming and somewhat endearing but nothing all to special, damn these last songs sure are hard to write about

The Lady is a Tramp (originally from “Babes in Arms”) sung by Mercedes and Puck in “Laryngitis”

-this duet is so underrated, this isn’t Mercedes best song I’ll admit but Puck sounds terrific, top 3 best songs for him, who would guess the bad boy punk-ish boy with the mohawk would be so good singing jazz

And that’s another wrap, it was a little harder thinking about characters and situations where all of this could happen but I ended up liking it a lot, next one we will go back to the standard albums with Joanne ;)

Pairing 1: Twistedshipping (Shadi/Maximillon Pegasus | Pegasus J. Crawford)

Propaganda: Shadi is a grief stricken spirit with no one to talk to and Pegasus is a lonely rich boy with time & money but no one to share it with. They've both suffered heavy loss and mad terrible decisions as a result. They've hurt people and are both people who are hurting. But they wear it differently; no one can see Shadi unless he allows it but Pegasus is a public figure. He must be seen, though no one can get close without his permission. The roles they play are so important to the people who the roles serve and yet they're always at a distance from the comfort of the people. All that to say, they should get to hug and be happy. Also the fan art is just beautiful. | Pegasus lamented how his heart was like the empty canvas he toted around half the world longing to fill, then immediately painted a portrait of Shadi and hung it up next to the portrait of his deceased wife. Pegasus clearly idolized Shadi for giving him the Millennium Eye, even though Shadi showed little regard for him, probably thinking of Pegasus as just another necessary step in moving fate along. I think it’s immensely interesting to explore how they both might grow around each other, and how they might recontextualize their shared past after spending more time together. Pegasus would start to see Shadi with something other than blinding adoration, and Shadi would recognize and appreciate Pegasus as a person and not a pawn. The ship has plenty of angst, but room for hurt/comfort and character exploration. And they both at some point, in Yugioh R and Dark Side of Dimensions, adopted a bunch of orphans and took on the role of a father figure; so there’s more fluffy AU potential, too.

AURUMJANK HELLO! I was wondering, what are some of your favorite glee head canons? :D

@sscrambledmeggss hi! Thanks for the question! And, well, it's kind of the hard one for me... I'm not sure about favourite - some of them are just head canons. Be prepared! There's going to be a lot of writing.

1. I mentioned once that I don't believe that Kurt actually had a crush on Finn. It never happened in my world. No, he was lonely, and wanted a male friend, and was influenced by the world around him (telling that you can't be happy without a boyfriend/girlfriend) and so he convinced himself that he's in love. I'm pretty sure he just wanted someone to spend time with him and someone to protect him.

2. Puck is pansexual. I don't have any proof, but he is. At least for me.

3. Kurt settled for Blaine. First, he was scared, and lonely, and tired when they met. Then he ran to Dalton and Blaine was the only student he knew there (and Warblers didn't seem too welcoming, at least for me). Kurt thought Blaine was his only option and so he hang on to him. And then he was afraid that he will never connect with anyone else and that no one will stick around, so he took him back. Twice. (Remember that car ride before the proposal? And the talk he had with Rachel in season 6? I don't think he looked like a guy who's happily in love any of this times... More like "I feel like everyone is abandoning me and I'm terrified of being lonely")

4. And another head canon that's connected ↑ - Kurt said 'yes' to proposal only because of the peer pressure and because he knew that saying 'no' wouldn't be seen as 'not yet' and so everyone would make him the bad guy.

5. Santana was secretly shipping Hevans (I mentioned it once - 'Lady Lips' and 'Trouty Mouth')

6. Santana has a thing for blondes. Just look: Brittany, Dani, Sam and even Quinn. I mean, we all know she just used that cheerleader girl from college, Puck, David and other guys she slept with, but this four actually ment something to her.

7. Sebastian Smythe is fluent in French.

8. Chandler wasn't really flirting with Kurt - he was joking and trying to make a friend. They both were going to be in this big new city next year - it's easier and less scary if you already know someone. Blaine ruined it for them.

9. Kurt is a great cook, can bake and knows how to fix cars (even if he doesn't like to get dirty). He's also fluent in French.

10. The backstory created by actor portraying Adam (Oliver Kieran-Jones) - all true, this is exactly how it is. I also completely ignore the moment that says he kicked Kurt out of Adam's Apples when he found out Kurt was engaged. Adam is a nice fella. He wouldn't. Kurt left after break up so none of them feel more hurt. Or something. But Adam kicked Kurt out? Nope. Never happened.

I think I'll stop on this ten. There's a lot more in my mind, but if I tried to write down everything - I will need the whole night if not more 😅 And you did ask for some favourites, not all of them.

Book Boyfriend Challenge

Pairing: Charles Leclerc x Hispanic/Latina! Reader

Summary: where Y/N has her fiancé reciting lines from her 3 book boyfriends.

Warning: 18+ lines used, spelling and grammatical errors

A/N: I’m also working on an alternative version where Y/N has no idea Charles has read her books and decides to recite the same lines to see how she reacts, let me know of you want that posted. This takes place in the same universe as The Drive Thru Test

Y/N has seen TikToks of couples doing this challenge so he has picked out three books, Throttled by Lauren Asher, Eleven Eleven by Micaela Smeltzer, and Camera Shy by Kay Cove.

“Charles, muñeco, Can you come here for a second?” Y/N called from their living room, the books lined up on the coffee table. Charles comes in from the kitchen.

“Yes, Mon ange?” Charles asked.

“I have another TikTok challenge for us to try.” Y/N said. Charles playfully rolled his eyes and sat besides her on the couch.

“What is the challenge, Mon ange?” Charles asked. Y/N smiled.

“Okay so I have 3 books here, they are my favorite book boyfriends, there’s Noah Slade, Finn Harvey, and Reid Astor Crawford, I personally love these books, but I want you to choose whatever lines from these 3 books and recite them.” Y/N asked. Charles picked up the Throttled book.

“You’ve read an F1 romance book?” Charles asked, flipping through the pages. “Is bandini supposed to be Ferrari? Have you read this thinking about me?” Charles kept asking questions.

“Okay so I’m not the only one who fan casts you as Noah Slade, I’ve seen people make TikToks casting you as Noah, Lewis Hamilton is Jax, Carlos Sainz is Santiago, I’ve seen very mixed opinions about Liam, sometimes is Sebastian Vettel, others it’s Max Verstappen…” Y/N was explaining but Charles cut her off.

“You actually like this Noah guy?!? He’s such an asshole in the beginning.” Charles said as he was reading the first few pages of the book. “I can’t believe people imagine me as Noah.” Charles mumbled. “I’m a nice guy!”

“Muñeco, just pick a line, I’ll let you read the book after we’re done.” Y/N said,

“Fine.” Charles said. It took Charles a few seconds to pick a perfect line. “Okay, I got it.” Charles cleared his throat. “I’m not like any of the guys you’ve been with before. I May not be your first fuck, but I might as well be.” Charles said and Y/N started giggling. “What’s so funny, ma Belle?”

“Nothing, it’s just you’re so cute, I can’t imagine you saying this. But I must admit, your accent makes it hot.” Y/N confessed, kissing Charles. They broke away and Charles said the other line he has chosen.

“You’re a naughty little thing.” Charles tried to say in a seductive matter and Y/N covered her face with her hands.

“Okay that was hot.” Y/N confessed and now it was Charles’s turn to giggle.

“Okay this line is so stupid. ‘But I fuck like an A-list porno.’ I don’t know what more shocking, that the author thought it was a good line, or that you actually like that, I see you blushing, Mon ange.” Charles said and Y/N just shook her head.

“I like the book! Also, lines like this work because it is fictional, if a real man tried to say this to me, I would laugh in their face. But again, I think your accent makes it acceptable.” Y/N said and Charles kissed her.

“Okay I’m keeping this book, I need to know what people imagine me act like.” Charles said, getting off the couch to place Throttled in their bedroom on his side of the dresser. He came back, sitting next to Y/N, and chose the next book, Eleven Eleven. He was skimming until… “HE JUST TURNED 21?!?” Charles asked yelling. “She’s 32, that feels illegal, Mon ange, come on.”

“If you forget about the age, the way he is considerate, sweet, yet kinda cocky is such a turn on for me.” Y/N said.

“Am I competing with your book boyfriends?” Charles asked,

“If you really had to ask…” Y/N muttered. Charles found the line he wanted to refute but first he wanted to have a heavy make out session so Y/N would have full effect of the line. He leaned in to kiss her, he slightly bites her lower lip to insert his tongue in her mouth, both tongues fighting for dominance, Y/N had her hands in his hair but Charles was the one to light pull on her hair, making her moan. They pulled away and Y/N was panting/breathing heavily. Charles had his hand on Y/N’s inner thigh, rubbing lightly.

“Don’t get shy on me now, not when my tongue has been all over this sweet pussy.” Charles said and Y/N just stared at him incredulously.

“I can’t believe you got me hot and bothered just to say that line.” Y/N pouted and Charles laughed. “But that line worked on me, can’t lie.” Charles then cupped Y/N’s face in his hands.

“No man is ever going to make you feel this good. Not the way I can.” Charles said, ending the sentence in a cute little smirk.

“I thought I was going to cringe at some of the lines, but so far so good. You’re doing great, mi vida.” Y/N said, giving Charles a quick peck before he picks up the last book. “I know a lot of people on GoodReads are not a fan but I really liked it, I related to Avery so much.” Y/N said with a pout and Charles faintly smiled while reading the first few pages.

“This Mason guy is an asshole.” Charles said.

“I know! Like who dumps someone in their birthday?” Y/N said. Charles nods in agreement and starts skimming a few pages.

“He’s a boudoir photographer?” Charles asked and Y/N nodded. “You wanna do a photo shoot like that for me?” Charles asked suggestively.

“Sure thing, muñeco, but you’re buying what you want me to wear for this photo shoot.” Y/N said and Charles kissed her temple, still skimming until he found the line.

“Okay, this is kinda long.” Charles cleared his throat and tried to make his voice sound a little deeper and raspy, and looks into Y/N’s eyes. “You’re not going to speak. I’m going to talk to you. I’m going to strip you down and point out all the things I love about your body. For 5 minutes, Lu are going to enjoy a man who you think fucks like a porn star, worshipping you.” Charles recited, not breaking eye contact. Y/N blushed and looked away.

“How the hell did Avery not melt at that. It is official, you can make all these book lines sexy as fuck.” Y/N said and Charles chuckled.

“Well I’m glad this is turning you one, Mon ange.” Charles said, he skimmed until he found another one. “I’m going to make you vocal during sex, I’m going to have you screaming when you come, trust me.” He recited.

“Mm, not as hot.” Y/N said.

“Yeah, I agree, you’re already vocal during sex.” Charles commented and Y/N swatted his shoulder. “What? You’re acting as if that’s not the truth.”

“Just pick the next line, muñeco.” Y/N said.

“I bet you’re so fucking wet for me right now my tongue could go swimming, sweet girl.” Charles said in a raspy voice and Y/N covered her face.

“You did not pick that.” Y/N said.

“But I did. Mon ange, do you real,y enjoy ready these smutty books?” Charles asked.

“Yes I do, I like a modern romance, the smut is a bonus. I find them entertaining though.” Y/N said.

“Mm, should I buy you more books like this then?” Charles asked, pulling Y/N onto his lap so she’s straddling him.

“If you want to, of course.” Y/N said. Charles smiled before kissing her.

“I’m going to read Throttled when I’m on the plane for my next race.” Charles said.

“Okay, let me know what you think.” Y/N said.

the escapist within him had wanted to retreat, dive into his words and find comfort within creating a better world amongst the empty pages, one that didn't end in a senseless tragedy. but he'd made a promise, first on an elementary school playground with intwined pinkies, then once again in high school, teenage rebellion making a blood oath sound like a necessity, and finally in his best man's toast on seth's wedding day, although that one had been to two people instead of one. a promise to take care of each other, and their loved ones, no matter where life took them. noah had never pictured himself ending up here though, burying his best friend before he'd fully had a chance to live, and the grief running through him threatened to consume. but while he'd lost a man who was practically a brother, he knew they'd lost a partner, someone they'd promised to share a life with. so it made sense that the home he'd stepped into seemed almost lifeless now, despite only missing one of it's inhabitants. that was one thing he didn't know how to fix, but if he could ease the sorrow just a minuscule fraction, noah would be content that he was at least helping in what little way he could. "what else do you need? i'm here to help - even if it's something as simple as cooking dinner."
