hello there!

related to the bbbcau, does Jimmy meet the human from Quaff again? I suppose he probably would, but would he be scared, or would his interactions with Grian and Joel lessened his fear towards humans in general? Probably not, now that I think about it. A lot of the scene was Jimmy being uncomfortable about the two of them drinking, so most of his fear would have stuck around, even if it's only towards the allusive new human we are trying to figure out.

Jimmy does indeed meet the human from Quaff again. That human is actually going to end up being the 3rd main side character in the whole au.

I don't want to say too much, because you will see a story about it, but it's a bit of both? Jimmy is still scared of other humans, his general fear of humans will never go away. But, because Jimmy has been around Grian and Joel for a while now, he has gotten used to being around humans. So despite his fear, he may be a bit more willing to give other humans a chance if they show to be like Grian and Joel.

oh yea cws just in case: i'm gonna talk about the g*re stuff- mod if you don't want to post this you don't have to- also i'm talking about the harassment of the VA's. Oh yeah super fucking long post.

1: The discord doesn't feel very safe to me. I use it for upload notifs only (bc the yt app is stupid and won't send me notifs). For one I feel like it's kinda overcrowded for only 2 talking channels (that i've seen). For two I asked for help on a fan project and a mod got onto me for "self promotion". And I got ignored by others but that was to be expected.

2: Why are we harassing the VA's? Like the main example I can think of is people going to Davis and yelling at him for killing Solar off. Like come on grow up. Also

3: WHY ARE WE SENDING GORE TO PEOPLE????? Now I haven't seen proof of this, but I have heard SEVERAL accounts of people doing this and it sucks. Why???

4: The copious amounts of incest and p*rn you can easily find in the form of fanfic is disgustingl to me. Not to mention the amount of fics i've seen with Eclipse and Lunar in uh- less than appropriate scenarios is... ugh. I'm not gonna go harass them but it just- ew.

5: The immaturity of the fandom. I can think of like 2 situations that happened here on tumblr right of the bat. I'm not gonna name names but dear lord the mob mentality is strong. Especially with bigger creators in the fandom. A lot of people will harass people over the tiniest of things.

6: Just the amount of power bigger creators have in the fandom in general. No I will not elaborate because that would involve kind of singling out people and I don't wanna do that.

7: I don't really like that the show defaults to death if they don't wanna use a character anymore or if the character is becoming a problem.

8: Some of the jokes the VA's make don't really sit with me well, like the previous April fool's episodes. (yes I am Solar biased and yes I am dramatic fuck off). Now they haven't done it for a while but still. And I get it could just be them acting in character but at the end of the day it's still them choosing to say it.

I’ve never written to a kinfession blog before, so sorry if this ask is a bit awkward. There’s much on my mind. For context; I am a drow.

I remember the Underdark so clearly, it can feel a bit lonely when having no one to share memories with. So I find myself here. The largest of cities (Menzoberranzan, for example) always seemed to pulse with arcana. Even in a land with no light their fires never seemed to dim, and there was always the white noise of commerce, houses going about their days. Or nights rather…

However, I always preferred the outskirts and smaller civilizations. There was so much megaflora—and beyond that, cave rivers. Mosses and fungi with which many had a degree of bioluminescence. Stalagmites so grand you could mistake them for castles. It was quieter. And it was absolutely beautiful.

Eddie was completely willing to let bygones be what they were.

He did a shitty thing unintentionally. Steve has been doing shitty things for years with zero consequences. They’re even, right?

It’s not like he’s ever going to see Steve again anyways. He doesn’t throw parties anymore and Eddie doesn’t even have a VCR to warrant going into Family Videos.

So, bygones. As in, bye, gone to the stabbing feeling in his chest when he thinks about what happened for too long.

“Robin Buckley’s being weird.”

Eddie blinks back into the chaotic mess of the art room, “Isn’t she always weird?”

“I mean,” Jeff shrugs. “She been glaring at you the entire class. Did the same thing yesterday, too. I don’t even think she’s blinking.”

Eddie looked over his canvas and, yeah. She’s glaring at him. He turns his frown upside down and gives her a little wave which - “Oh. Oh no.”

“Dude,” Jeff hisses. “She’s coming over here.”

The nervous energy that typically hovers around a Robin is strangely absent when she stops next to his table. It’s a little intimidating. As is her cryptic ass greeting, “It’s been four days. You need to apologize.”

“For what?” He asks and then realizes what this is. “Did Steve Harrington really send his coworker to bully me?”

“I’m more than his coworker,” She scoffs. “And that’s not the point. You need to apologize to him. For-.”

“Apologize for what, not watering my club down to make him comfortable?”

Thats not what happened and Eddie knows it. He knows he crossed a line but he doesn’t understand it and it makes him defensive. He can’t make himself shut up, “You can tell him I’m sorry he can’t take a joke.”

Robin’s eyes narrow and then she turns around, calling across the room, “Mrs Keller, does this paint stain?”

“It’s washable.”

Robin nods once to the teacher and then immediately turns around and flips Eddie’s paint tray into his lap. She grabs the bottle of paint he was using and coats him in blue paint before dropping the bottle on the floor.

Her voice is low and unapologetic even as she grabs a handful of napkins for him, “He doesn’t even want an apology. Do it anyways.”

Eddie is left stunned, as is their deathly quiet class, but Robin just turns to the teacher and declares, “I will accept my detention now.”

like, okay, i'm sure this scene has been talked about and dissected to pieces already in this fandom but. BUT. i need to put my two cents in or i will explode.

so, your lord and best friend has just admitted to you that if you die, he will be so beside himself with grief that he might just die too.

the game then gives you THIS option in response.

and you, the player, know how video games work. you know this is the press x for romance button. you expect henry to admit his feelings—a culmination of all the hints he's dropped from the heart options we've chosen before—and kiss him as soon as the button's been pressed.

except henry doesn't kiss hans.

instead, henry places his hand on hans' hand. it's the first moment of physical contact between them in the whole scene...but it's not a kiss. it's gentle. it's intimate. it's tiptoeing the line between comforting a friend and something more...

...but henry leaves it at that. and he gets up and goes to leave.

and in that moment of panic. in that split second of 'this might be the last time i'll ever see you again, please don't go' — it's hans that kisses henry.

and it's henry who pushes hans away.

this is—for all intents and purposes—the opposite of what we, the player, chose.

and to add insult to injury, henry looks conflicted.

he looks SO conflicted that hans believes he's fucked up royally.

that he has completely tarnished their final moments together by acting on impulse—by giving into temptation and desperation and feelings he can't even put into his own words—and henry must be disgusted by him.

and hans believes this because he watches henry turn his back to him. refusing to look at him. and head for the door.

but henry stops before he opens it. and i keep thinking back to the heart option we chose.

the player is not making the choice for henry to kiss hans. we are not forcing his hand.

the player is reminding henry what he's been telling himself throughout the entire game.

don't run away, henry.

kiss him. kiss him back.

so henry does.
