Saw your "Anti Reset" post, nice to see another Taiwanese BL enthusiast here. I mean, I love my Thai BLs (I don't think anything will top "Not Me" & "KinnPorsche" for me) but when Taiwanese BLs do it right, BOY OH BOY do they do it RIGHT! I def love mafia/action BLs, and "HIStory3 Trapped" was my first venture into that. I was kind of in a BL slump in 2023, and the only BL that I thoroughly enjoyed was "Kiseki: Dear to Me." I'm LOVING "Anti Reset" so far, though!

But my absolute favorite BL (not just Taiwanese, but ALL TIME FAVORITE OF ALL BLS) is HIStory 4: Close to You.

I love Li Cheng and Mu Ren's relationship

Kiseki: Dear to Me was *this* close to taking over as number one in my heart, which is why it won my top Colors Award this year, and Oh No! Here Comes Trouble came in fighting without it even being labeled as a BL. Taiwan is competing against itself in my heart!

Although Thailand's Dead Friend Forever might surpass HIStory 4: Close to You, which is very dependent on the last few episodes, I consistently enjoy Taiwanese BLs more than any other country's offerings. Even the HIStory-that-shall-not-be-named was a great experience until the second it wasn't, but now we get the apology tour in every other Taiwanese BL.

I will love any BL Taiwan throws at me, so I was thrilled VBL/Vidol gave me four in the span of half a year, which includes our current favorite, Anti Reset!

And I'm looking forward to the slate of upcoming Taiwanese BLs that appear to have some big names behind them, like Unknown WHICH STARTS TOMORROW, is based off the book from Priest who also wrote Guardian and Word of Honor, and will feature We Best Love's Sam Lin!

And I'm also excited to see my HIStory 4: Close to You favorite Charles Tu back in this year's First Note of Love with the side from My Tooth, Your Love. It's about singing, yet I don't give an eff because that's how much I love Taiwanese BLs that even singing will not deter me!

I will always support the girls, the gays, and the goths no matter the country of origin, but no other country is giving me this energy.

And I fucking love it!

you know before I got into the coroika side of splatoon I genuinely thought emperor was like. A really popular character. Like I saw him for the first time in the manga and thought oh the fndom fan favorite character.

I think about Finders Keepers all the time 😩 The thought of being shared by the Seijoh 4 is enough but then add in the Inarizaki all while being forced to rely on your boys for both comfort and safety is just *chefs kiss* 😘 Anyway I’m really curious to know which team you’d feel would be the best at protecting the reader during a zombie apocalypse? I hope you don’t mind the question I just love the idea of the reader being forced to rely on the men that probably made her life hell before the apocalypse too lmao

okay so here's the things, inarizaki MAY be the stronger team in terms of volleyball. i say may because i have had this argument with several friends several times and... the jury is still out.

HOWEVER, seijoh i think (or at least seijoh 4) have a phenomenal basis of trust and i would argue that their teamwork between those four is probably a touch more cohesive?

but as it stands within the fic, they've already done a pretty shitty job because in splitting up, they've managed to lose the reader, land oikawa on death's door and the remaining three are poised to walk into an undead ambush so... ya not a winning record there.

kita's perfectly adept with keeping the twins in line, they've got aran as kita's right hand/enforcer, bigger numbers and in this fic an established sanctuary with a whole bunch of supplies which kinda puts them head over heels above makki, mattsun, iwa and oikawa rn.

Question for you! No need to answer if you don't feel like it, but would Avery let his partner out if they legitimately didn't have anyone looking for them? Parents? "Oh I haven't talked to them in years". Friends? "Nah, I prefer to be on my own most of the time anyway". Their boss? Nope, they do freelance work (or at least did until Avery took them in, lol). So like, despite them being gone for god knows how long at the facility and then another undetermined length of time until they were like "hey babe, wanna go to the park?", there's nobody actively looking for them. No missing person's report, no concerned neighbors, nothing. It'd probably break Avery's heart tbh, even if he probably already knew they were a bit of a loner from his "observation" phase. But hey, at least when your victim partner is a homebody with no friends, you don't have to worry about the cops getting called when you go on cute little dates <3

(This ask may have been a tiny bit inspired by the fact that I think he deserves to go on mushy, lovey couple's outings with his S/O. I'm not a hopeless romantic though, I swear!-)

Ahh, but you see... his beloved being a Missing Person isn't all he's concerned about.

Avery can't stand to have anyone gaze upon his beloved- even if there's no flirting going on.

That means anyone. The gas station attendant. A stranger at the park. His own family.

The eyes of another on them, no matter how brief, make him feel like his blood has turned caustic. It fills him with such intense, burning jealousy that he'd do anything to prevent it- which is why he keeps them hidden away in his loft, safe from any prying eyes.

HOWEVER- That's not to say he'd never take them out. It would be at night, and it'd be a long drive out of the city to somewhere natural, where the risk of being seen is very very low. He's going to be tense the whole time, and this could only be with someone he trusted beyond measure, but it could definitely happen if you're good ❤

Colours matter as we know. So what is your favourite colour? In life or in colour coded boys.

My favorite color is yellow. It is the best color. No other color can even touch it. It's the most superior color, and all these other colors are poop in comparison.

As far as characters, my latest color-coded boys obsession are the newest entry I've started noticing - Multicolored Menace. They are an updated queerer version of Happy Humans (the light colored character in a "dark versus light" color dynamic). I like that they are chaotic characters just like all the colors they wear, and I love that it takes the traditional dark versus light dynamic and makes it GAYER. It's amazing!

However, I'm partial to Yellow/Orange Oddities since they align with my favorite color, and they are so rare. Unlike the other colors, these Oddities haven't been consistently paired with another specific color. They work well with everyone because they are energetic, communicative, and hopeful, yet they are cautious, like me!

Which is why I was so irritated by A Boss & A Babe because it had the opportunity to have TWO Yellow/Orange Oddities yet made their color scheme warm. (bleh!)

And I fear Middleman's Love is changing Jade's color. In Bed Friend, he was a Yellow/Orange Oddity, but all the BTS images from Middleman's Love's filming haven't shown him in these colors. (boo!)

But I think Love Upon a Time is giving us a HISTORICAL ODDITY, which is so brilliant! If someone is going to stand out in time, if a show wants to highlight that a person doesn't belong, if a show wants to tell us someone is ODD (aka queer), make his color yellow! It's bright. It stands out. It can't hide. IT'S GENIUS!

So yeah, I love all colors, but yellow is my favorite. I also love all color-coded boys, but Yellow/Orange Oddities are my favorites. Moving forward, I'm going to be very excited to keep tracking these Multicolored Menace. We are now getting bi-colored characters (which I HATE) and multicolored characters, so like, what a time to be alive, right?!

But no matter what, we've only gotten one Yellow Yal, our reigning monarch, Daisy.
