So Cole was saying this after Lou caught him going over the plan to steal the Blade Cup with the other ninja.

And here is Lou's face right after Cole said that he was a ninja:

And later, Lou says to Cole in reference to how stealing is wrong, "I'm not going to wait around to watch you make a mockery of our of our family's legacy."

And I know that at the time the episode was written, Lilly most definitely wasn't conceptualized, meaning that her being the previous Earth ninja couldn't as well.

But watching this after Season 13, you can interpret Lou's reaction to Cole being a ninja and stealing, as not only a mockery to his legacy being a dancer, but also Lilly's legacy as being a ninja.

Lou: That’s great, son. More potential future partners. I’m proud of you. I can’t wait to meet them!

Later

Cole: Dad, I’m a Ninja.

Lou: *horrified gasp* You’re what?!

What do you mean this ain’t how the episode went?!

GUYS! Lilly and Lou play fighting while little Cole is laughing his ass! *sobbing*

He can finally pin her down because she no longer has her powers after Cole's birth. She is still stronger but he can compete now!

"Ha, what's the matter? You aren't so strong anymore?"

"I'm still stronger!"

"Oh really?" *looks at her trapped*

*sends death stare*

Cole doesn't really understand, nor think about why'd his mother be less strong now. He is just laughing along and joining them run around the house and play fight.

They're so cute... I need them back together....

cole: my father can be a bit… overprotective. if he gives you the shovel talk, he probably means it. let’s be honest.

geo: got it.

they walk into the room where lou is

cole: dad, this is my boyfriend, geo-

lou immediately pulls geo aside

lou: i swear to the FSM if you ever hurt my son i will f- i will murder you-

lou’s giving geo the talk for like five minutes straight

lou, panting after he’s done: you got that?

geo: 😀👍 yep yep i got it

lou: thanks.

lou leaves

geo: your dad’s insane

cole: yeah i know

I DID IT! I just gave Lilly a WHOLE fricken backstory that's actually compliant to canon, highlights her relationships with her father and Lou, and will tell about how she became the Master Of Earth! I hope y'all are ready to read it in Into The Deep!

Also there's an ancient tribe in the Deep Lands that all Earth Masters descended from. (Including Lilly and her dad) And they are EPIC.

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention! The tribe's ancestor was the very first Earth Master!

I just realized Lilly’s locket has a picture of herself in it.

Why would that be there? Why does she have a picture of herself in her own locket? I get Lou, but why is her picture also in there?

I've been thinkin a lot about Cole's family.. here are last name hc's !!! Lilly's maiden name is 'Hence' but she took Lou's last name, 'Brookstone'. Cole's last name in tlnm is 'Bucket'...
