· freezes. he's not used to any physical touch, so when he felt your body jump onto his he froze. he literally had no idea what to do- 

· does he hold you back? he leans forward a little bit so it's easier for you to keep sturdy, but he still has no idea what to do. his cheeks went red slightly when your legs wrapped around his torso but brushed it off. 

· he chuckles nervously as he grabs your hands, gently rubbing them due to nervousness. he bit his bottom lip before he heard you giggle, motioning him to spin you!

· he got the message and started to spin like nobody's business. he eventually got comfortable because one he knew it was just you, and two your laughter and actions caused him to let his childish side out. 

· that's what he loves in you. you can help him take his mind off all of his 'green-ninja' duties and just be his childish self. he circles once more before your body dropped to the couch. 

· " what was that? " he laughs, looking down at you while you're in a giggle fit. hands on his hips like a mom,

· you honestly didn't mean to scare him, but seeing his reaction was worth it. suddenly he rolled off of you, taking your hand into his and bringing you up with him, twirling around as you did causing you giggle.

·�� " ohokay! ohaahky! how about- we try thahat again? " he laughs, motioning you to jump on his back. with a smile you took a few steps back before running towards him and landed on his back, wrapping your arms around your neck and your legs around his waist, locking your ankles together. 

· he grabbed the thighs to make sure you won't fall and literally started to sprint around the Monastery like children on a sugar rush.

 · panics. he quickly grabs onto your thighs as he struggles to not topple over. it was like a jumpscare. one second he was talking to Lloyd, the next second he's having you on his back struggling to not face plant.

· " crap!- " he mummers to himself when he barely caught you and gripped his hands to your thigh. meanwhile, you're giggling like a hyena over here. you can't stop while Cole finally managed to sturdy himself.

·  Cole smirks when he hears your giggles and quickly started to spin around, careful to not smash into a wall. now you are in full-on laughter as you grip tighter onto the Earth Elemental. 

· Lloyd rolled his eyes playfully at the couple as he watches Cole spin out of the room with you on his back. " is there an actual reason you jumped on me? " Cole asked, looking over his shoulder. 

· " thihink of this as ... extra training? " you respond. He just rolled his eyes as he playfully throws you to the couch and gently tackled you and place a kiss on your nose. 

· this is now a normal thing with you two. whenever Cole has his guard down boom you're on his back wanting a piggyback ride.

· like Jay he yelps. you jump scared him and he literally almost lit his entire body on fire. you included. thankfully he realized it was you due to your clothing and chuckles.

·  he was literally about to yeet you out the window, you are so lucky. 

· he eventually grabs onto your thighs and hoists you up to get both you and him comfortable. when his fingers purposely dug into your thigh you let out a laugh as you squirmed, causing the Fire Elemental to grin. 

· then...he started to spin. not like, his Spinjitzu spin, but just a normal spin. this caused you to giggle as you threw your head back as a reflex. 

· " ohohaky! okok! " " okay whaht? " he laughed still spinning.

· " puhut me dohown i'm gonna puhuke! " you suddenly felt your body fall and touch the fabric of the couch.

· visible confusion. he literally just stands there with you on his back, smiling like a dork.

· is something wrong? why did you jump on his back?

· you had to wrap your legs around his waist to hold yourself up as your arms locked around his neck gently. 

· " Y/N? is everything okay? " he would ask and all you would say is, " yeeup! just bored. "

· " so you proceeded to jump on my back because you were bored? " the Nindroid asks and you nod against his neck. this caused him to lower his guard and began to literally lecture you about the dangers of scaring somebody like that. 

· a little later he eventually got playful and started to sprint around the room, causing you to shriek with laughter until they were puddles of giggles. 

· you asked if he could Spinjitzu with you on his back and at first he was cautious, but he did one spin and that was enough to drop you to the couch.

· he apologized again and again, making sure you were okay. and of course, you were, you wanted to do it again.

· Zane refused because it can lead to something seriously dangerous.' pft, party pooper. '

↳ NYA

· literally throws you back on the bed, couch, carpet etc. she felt her soul leave her body when you jumped onto her and she threw you causing you to let out a small 'ommfpt' but that was soon replaced with laughter.

· " Y/N M/N L/N, why the heck did you do that! " she cries, holding her heart as you stood up.

With a playful roll of your eyes, you aided him in adjusting the sugar amount, "No wonder you’re a sucky chef, Cole," you teased, prompting a scoff from him.

“Me? A sucky chef, please!" He exaggerated the ‘please,’ earning a knowing look from you.

“What? Did you know I’m secretly Gordon Ramsey’s love child?" He grinned.

“In your dreams you probably are," you laughed, causing his face to drop in mock disbelief.

“How dare you? Take this." Cole took the flour that was laying on the counter, grabbed some from the packet and tossed it into your face.

“Cole..! Stop!" You squealed, shielding your face with your arms.

“Nuh uh, you are going to face my flour wrath, (Name)!" He persisted, continuing to shower you with flour until you managed to wrestle the packet from him. Soon, both of you were engaged in a flour war, filling the kitchen with laughter.

Eventually, his arms found their way around your hips, pulling you close as you leaned against his chest, both of you still giggling,

"Cole, I love you so much," you said playfully, feeling him freeze at your words. His pause prompted you to furrow your eyebrows and stare up at him. Cole gazed at you with eyes filled with passion and adoration before he leaned in to peck your lips,

He kissed you again, and again and again. Until you both were just contently sitting in each other’s arms, embraced within the euphoria.

“Of course, dear. We don't want your boo-boo to worsen, do we?" His ears turned pink at your pet name as you dabbed antiseptic on a cloth.

“It's just a cut, (Name)! I don't want to go through all this," Jay pleaded as you brought the cloth closer to him. You looked at him sympathetically,

“Exactly, it's just a cut, so why are you so scared?" You paused, a playful glint in your eye, "Aren't you supposed to be my brave boyfriend?" Jay's expression softened, a grin spreading across his face,

“You're right! I am your brave boyfriend!" he proclaimed proudly. You grinned as you brought the cloth to his cheek.

He winced softly at the burning sensation before the feeling got replaced with your delicate fingers. You applied a Thomas the Train band-aid to his cut and swiftly placed a small kiss on your boyfriend’s cheek, “There you go, your boo-boo is all better now,”

“Thanks doc,” Jay said, his smile cheesy and so incredibly contagious that it brought a smile to your own lips. His bright brown eyes staring into yours as though you were a delicately painted painting, simply a work of art for him to stare at. You cusp his cheek as you both continue staring at each other, you caressed his soft yet warm skin under your fingertips,

“I love you, Jay," you spoke softly. He grinned cheekily, his cheeks lightly dusted pink at your words.

"Well, I love you more!" he retorted playfully.

“No, I love you more," you countered.

“Nope! I love you the most mostful and mostest!" he declared, pulling you into a tight hug and nuzzling his head into your neck. As you let out a small giggle he whispered into your ear,

“I love you, (Name), forever."

After enduring the agonizing training, you found yourself sprawled on the floor, Kai, your boyfriend of two months, grinning down at you, his weapon by his side.

He muttered a curse as his eyes locked with yours, and your breath hitched. You both were merely centimeters between each other and in that moment, you swore the world seemed to stand still.

"Hey, sweetheart," he whispered, his voice soft and gentle, “Seems like I fell for you,”

"Hi Kai," you snickered, finding his attempt at being flirty endearing. "Seems like I caught you."

"Sorry about that," Kai chuckled, rolling off to lie beside you on the dojo floor. Together, you gazed up at the ceiling, embracing the silence in the room, until you couldn't resist stealing a glance at his side profile. Holding back the urge to caress his face, you traced the features with your eyes. You met his gaze as his smirked, his eyes staring into yours knowingly.

He wiggled his eyebrows playfully as he teased you, "Like what you see, sweetheart?"

"I love it," you whispered sweetly, brushing a strand of his hair before meeting his eyes again. "I love all of you."

Kai froze, his confident demeanor crumbling as a blush painted his cheeks. His face turning as bright as his gi. His face faltering into a slight frown.

“You don't mean that," his voice dropped low into a whisper, insecurity lacing his words. You could tell he was feeling incredibly vulnerable.

"Of course I do," you promised him, a gentle smile gracing your lips as you stare into his crestfallen eyes, “I love you Kai.”

He stared into your face, trying to decipher if you were truly being genuine with him. His face brightened up as he realized you were. A sly grin returned to Kai's face, but his eyes held a warmth that made your body melt. He grabbed your hand from your side and put it up to his lips,

“You’re okay,” you repeated, wrapping your arms around him. You felt him crumble beneath your touch, he sunk into your chest as he stared into your eyes. Searching them for reassurance. You begun playing with his blonde locks, a soft hum escaping your lips. You stole a glance at him. The moonlight cast a gentle glow upon his face, revealing the subtle contours of his gentle features. His eyes closed, his breath steadying into a rhythmic pattern,

"Lloyd?" you whispered, uncertainty lacing your voice. There was no response, only the soft sound of his breathing filling the room. Did he already fall back to sleep? You paused, carefully staring down at his face,

“Well, good night Lloyd... I love you," you murmured softly, turning your gaze towards the window.

Unseen by you, a small smile graced his lips, a ghost of a whisper that you unfortunately didn’t pick up,

He soothed you when you fell and hurt yourself. Your heart was warmer around him. The love between you and him was always unsaid. Life felt easier having Kai and Nya next to you.

When their parents disappeared your whole world got shaken. Seeing your best friends in pain and having to survive alone without guide. Kai took the responsibility and worked hard to get the money to have the daily meal for both of them. His usual reckless self was no longer there. He was forced to grow up so the little Nya will be okay.

You brought leftover food for them after lunch without your parents knowing. Even though he appreciated your help he refused it as much as he could. So one day when you finished your lunch, you secretly prepared some food for both of them and sneaked into their house to place it on the table.

"Y/n.." you jumped up as you heard your name. You turned your head towards the sound and your eyes met with Kai's. You couldn't read how he felt. Maybe anger, disappointment, love, worry. You couldn't tell.

"You know you shouldn't bring food here. I can't let you help. It's not your responsible.." he takes a few steps closer to you as you can see him more. Huge purple circles are under his eyes like he hasn't slept for days. His body is dirty from work. Your heart aches as you notice the paining differences on him.

"Kai...I know how you feel but I can't watch you overwork yourself everyday. You don't even take care of yourself properly anymore.." you pointed at him with your arm as you look at him with worry in your eyes.

"As I told you It's not your responsible to take care of us. I'm the oldest, I have to take care of Nya... I can do that on my own. I don't need your help!" Kai raised his voice looking deep into your soul with his coffee brown eyes. His fist clenched by his side and tears formed in your eyes. But you cared you deeply care about him. Your love for his is infinite.

You lowered your head, looked everywhere but not at him.

"You're still a child...You don't need to take the full responsible for Nya.." you said with a soft voice before a tear rolled down your cheek.

"I love you Kai, but I don't know I'm facing with the same person as I used to" you let out a sob and couldn't look at him. You left the room not even looking back. He had just stood their silently and didn't stop you.

After the incident you weren't that close anymore. You were more Nya's bestfriend than Kai's. You barely saw him and didn't find his presence or that's what you told yourself, but you were hurt. Guilty was eating you up and one day you decided to apologise but no one was there anymore. It was too late.

5 years later

You were on your way to go home after a long exhausting day. Annoying customers' words rang in your head which gave you a headache. She had to listen to their stupid complains which made no sense just to get free stuff again. You were lost in your mind when suddenly you bumped into someone falling to the ground.

You immediatly started apologising when you realised what have you done. You weren't paying attention to your surrodings again. A bad habit you needed to cut off.

"I'm sorr-" you were about to apologise again when a hand was waiting for you to grab. You looked up for the hand's owner. Black short hair, brown eyes, beautifully made makeup, a small birthmark on the right of her cheek. All these were so familiar but couldn't wrap a finger around it who.

"No, don't apologise. I also didn't pay attention where was I going" she smiled sweetly as she pulled you up to your feet. You know this smile. This can't be. She and Kai dissappeard long ago and now she's just here. Walking on the same street as you.

"Nya..? Is that you?" Hope and nervousness fell onto your chest. Your brain can't belive what it sees. Long silence, none of you said anything. Your hope dissappered. She might be not Nya.

"I'm sorry. I must have mistaken you to someone I know from long ago." You walked past her fasting your footsteps wanting to be out of this situation when suddenly someone grabbed your hand.

"Y/n! It's me, Nya. Is that really you?" She smiles with excitement. A chill ran down your spine as the nostalgia hit you. Her smile always brighted up your day, but this smile also belonged to someone else...Kai.

"Yes, It's me" you barely finished your sentence when strong but gentle arms were wrapped around you. Your eyes became glassy. You really missed her. Your hugged Nya back, enjoying her presence for a while. You broke apart after a minute which didn't even feel that much. This was your way to talk non-verbally about how much you missed each other. Then another thought hit your head. Where's Kai? How is he? Is he still the person who he was before their parents vanished? Or that personality is completely lost?

"Where's Kai? What happened to both of you? Why did you dissappeared?" Finally the questions rolled down your tounge with a huge desire to know the answer to all of these.

"Woo woo, I will answer all your question, but first you better come with me. I don't want to have this converstation on the street. By the way, you also have a lot of question to answer to me" she winked as she pulled you with her. She's still the same which was a relief.

You had no idea how you got here. Well, maybe you knew why, but didn't know why did you agree on talking at Nya's place. You're not even sure It's hers. When you walked through the gate you expected a garden or a yard, but you found a paved excercising place full of ninja trainer machines made of wood, which you have only seen in movies. When you walked pass them you entered a chinese styled building, following Nya close.

Nya leaded you into a room which looked like It's hers, because it was filled with pictured of her and Kai when they were children. It was a strange experience for you seeing the Nya and Kai you know and now present self of her. Where's Kai?

"Kai is training by Wu now so you have to wait for him" Nya said like she had read your mind. "Until he finishes don't you want to know what happened" she sat down to her bed. You hesitated because it felt way too intimate after a long time not seen each other. It also feels like you are getting know each other all over again, like she's a stranger. Guilt and unsureness pressed on your chest finally deciding to sit down next to her.

You sat their and just listened in shock. Nya got kidnapped by evil skeletons who were leaded by Lord Garmadon. Kai became a ninja in chance to save his sister, protecting Nya like always. Wu, the sensei with couple of other ninjas saved her. They became a team and soon Nya realised she's the water elemental master and she had to became a ninja. Nya also told her that their parents were elemental masters too and that's how both of them, Kai and her got their powers.

When she was done telling her story her eyes shifted to you like she's waiting for an answer, but there was nothing to say. Everything made sense now. How they disappeared, why they couldn't contact you. It was all strange to hear that the famous ninja who protect Ninjago her past best friend is one of them.

After a long silence you know it was time to your story. You told about how you fell into depression after they were no longer there in the village. That your father died in sicknes when you turned 16 and soon you got a job in a supermarket. This is not how you imagined life, but you mostly got what you need. As you told more the more you wonder that will you ever be the same together? Your energies will ever match like it used to? My thoughts were stopped as the door slided.

"Nya, have you seen-" the man stopped talking like he has been cut off. You turned your head back to see the intruder but your heart skipped a beat as your eyes met. It was Kai. In full red gi. His brown hair is still spiky matching with his personality. Scars and cut marks covered his face like he fought million of wars which is a half true. He's a hero now.

"Y/n..?" He asked quietly like he's not believing what he sees. He seemed in shock, his hands didn't left the side of the chinese door.

"Look who I found" Nya said cheerfully standing up from next to you. You turned aside on the bed so you can face him better without saying a word. "We bumped into each other when I was out in Ninjago City for more materials for the Bounty."

"Did you find any?"

"No, but I found her for you."

"What..?"

"You heard me. Now get your ass in here and better start talking"

Nya pulled him inside and smiled proudly at you and her brother then slided the door so it was just you and Kai. You felt your face burning. What did she mean by found you for him?? He strached the back of his head nervously sadness and mixed of with something else could be read from his face.

Your heart started to sting and nervously grabbed the fabric of your pants a bit. It was all your fault. If you wouldn't have forced on Kai your help and if you would have just apologised right after. If you would have dropped your stubborn self, now it wouldn't feel this painful to look at him. The "what if" thoughts stopped when Kai finally said something.

"You were right.." he pulled his fingers through his hair. He looked into your eyes now. You could feel your heart sped up and like your body has heated up. You always had feelings for him. As a child it was confusing you just thought this is the feeling when you have a real best friend. Also you didn't felt this feeling with Nya but you didn't have the interest to care about it. Now as teenager soon going to be adult you know this feelings very well.

"What?" You muttered out.

"You were right about me overworking myself back then.."

"Kai, I-" you tried to protest, but Kai cut you off. He sat down next to you. This was the first time being close to each other after years. You miss his affection.

"No, let me say this. I formed these thoughts for years" Kai started "As I said, you were right. I did all the work to survive. As our parents disappeared I thought I have to be the new parent of Nya. My dad always told me that I must protect my sister at all cost, but I forgot another important sentence from him. Never neglect yourself for something better." He took a deep breath maybe to get himself together to continue.

"I've appreciated your help, truly. But I felt like I have to do this alone even though slowly things around me fell apart. I couldn't focus anymore because I was that tired." He admitted his hand slowly wandering towards yours. "I should have listened to you on the first place. I'm sorry..Y/n".

His fingers brushed through your hand in a comforting way. You knew damn well he was under a lot of pressure, but you still pushed him to accept every kind of help from you. Nothing could wash away the guilt. Even after years you blamed yourself for their disappearence. You knew you couldn't do anything about it but the unsaid words were hunting you, pushing you into a puddle of guilt and regret.

"I'm sorry too.." you finally raised your head to look into Kai's eyes to give the words their true meaning. "I was forcing my help on you without considering what you wished. I was pushy when you only needed someone next to you to support you... I totally messed up everything" you looked away from him when you felt like you poured your heart out. Your attention went to your hand which was now in Kai's hand. After a few seconds filled with silence suddenly a gentle hand find your face and turned your head. You faced with Kai and you could feel your face goes into a pinkish colour.

You couldn't say anything you were lost in his eyes and this feeling in your stomach. It wasn't like a few minutes of before it was kinda nice.

"I forgive you."

"I forgive you too."

His lips formed into a smile. A sweet and loving one. The hand which was on yours moved to your cheek next to the other so now he was cupping your face. Kai carresed your skin and was just staring at you like he's hesitating. You were confused but also curious how far it can go.

"Please forgive me for this too.." he whispered and pressed his lips at yours. Your body froze completely. Kai shifted closer to you, feeling his heat on your skin. You felt like this kiss is wrong, but you couldn't control your body. You need this. He needs this. After a few seconds you melted into his kiss, placing your hands on his. You kiss passionately like both of you waited for this. Still the words are unsaid, but now actions speaks louder. All your past mistakes flew away now It's just you and him in the present.

You broke for air looking into his eyes as you breathed heavily.

"I love you, Kai. I always loved you.."

"Thank God, because I feel the same way since when I've met you..I love you too"

KAI ★

you normally run up to him like that when a mission was claimed successful. other times you do it just to see his reaction, and it always makes you laugh. sometimes you just hug him, but other times you just start spinning. although he's a ninja and has trained to be imune to sneak attacks, you always make him scream when you randomly jump at him and spin him around.

your a giggling mess when he spins faster, but not fast enough to do spinjitzu.

he's noticed you do this whenever your really happy, so he knows when your unhappy because you won't hug him and spin him around like your always did.

"is that really as fast as you can go?" kai grinned as you spun both of you around. that statement ended with you both falling on the ground after 50x spins in a row.

JAY ★

loves it when you hug him and spin him around. it's got him smiling ear to ear and giggling left and right. your arms are normally wrapped around his neck whiles his are wrapped around your waist as you both spin. sometimes your legs are wrapped around his torso, but thats only when you know jay will just randomly let go of you for fun..one time leading you tumbling to the floor and banged your head on the table. big trust issues were lost that day.

"want to go faster?" jay grinned as he locked eyes with you. a wicked smiled formed on your face as jay spun, a blue tornado surrounded your vision. yours and his laugher were heard from the tornado as nya and cole walked by.

this is a normal thing you both do now.

COLE ★

when you first did this, cole was scared. he didn't know you were going to randomly start spinning and accdiently did spinjitzu. you cried his name out as you held onto him for dear life. he noticed you started doing this more when you were happy or a mission was successful.

all he's nervous about is that your going to be to extreme and cause you both to fall over, him landing ontopnof you because your the one spinning him.

other then that he's all for this now. he'll even join in one the spinning whne he's in the mood and lift you into the air.

ZANE ★

he just lets you spin him around. assuming your running at him for a hug, he opens his arms with a smile, but he's caught off guard when you jump at him and spin on your heels.

he yelps as he grabs onto you as you both spin full cricle multiple times. your laughter fills the room, zane's following soon after.

he questions you about your sudden out burst, and you reply with your tounge poking out.

he finds this cute and nevr gets upset when you randomly do it now and again.

LLOYD ★

he thought this would be a normal hug. so when you suddenly lift him off the ground and start spinning he let out a scream while gripping your shoulders for support.

he laughs out your name as you continue to spin. once you placed him down you give a playful kiss on the lips and waved him off.

he was left in a dizzy, goofy smile mess.

Kai Kalama | (She/They)

Burgundy red dress that falls just past their knees with a boob slit held together by simple straight gold clasps. The sides, starting just below her ribcage and reaching to her waist, have a gap with three simple gold chains attached. Overtop they wore a cropped black leather jacket that reaches just past her boobs. She chose to pair it with golden sun earrings and gold rings to bring attention to their black nails as well as black ankle strap heels.

Kai chose to take Reader to Morimoto's, a fancy and expensive sushi restaraunt that can take months to get a reservation at. It happens to be Reader's dream restaraunt to visit but they've never had a chance to go to because of the prices.

Zane Julien | (She/her)

Pale blue circle skirt with snowdrops sewn along the right side, with a white off-shoulder cardigan, paired with blue converse. Simple clay earrings made to look like snowdrops, and a simple necklace with a shard of diamond bring the entire outfit together.

Zane chose to take Reader to an Interactive Museum because of their mutual love of museums and Readers natural curiosity. It is one of the largest museums in the country of Ninjago and incredibly popular with an aquariam inside.

Cole Brookstone | (They/them)

Deep cut silk white blouse over a black, sleeveless turtleneck paired with a simple silver chain, and a singular black pearl hanging from his earlobe. They wore black jeans with it as well, a wallet chain, and black boots.

Reader decided on the Food Festival, a time when people from all over Ninjago Country gather in the streets and set up stalls, a good opportunity for Cole's first dip back into festivals.

Jay Walker | (She/Her)

Simple blue jeans with bluberry bushes sewn up the calves, tight white sleeveless turtleneck, with a baby blue cardigan that she can easily take off. She paired it with white sneakers, a blue bead anklet, and a string pearl necklace.

Reader chose to take Jay out to a Trampoline Park, the largest in Ninjago, since they both enjoy fun and it has multiple different sections that include laser tag, putt putt, and an obstacle course she hopes to challenge him in.

Lloyd Garmadon | (She/her)

Calf length, tight black turtleneck dress with golden designs along the chest and green glass beads to further bring the designs to life, and off the shoulder loose sleeves with a cuff to keep it from spilling over hands. Black kitten pumps, a gold lotus wrap bracelet, and emerald drop earrings bring the entire outfit together.

Lloyd chose to take Reader out to a fancy restaruant in one of the most expensive places to impress her, even though he doesn't need too. But she is excited to have a date with him, and has never been wined and dined before.

Morro | (She/her)

Ankle length sheer black skirt with pale pink cherry blossoms over black leggings and pale pink sneakers. A pale pink silk wrap around shirt with kimono-esque sleeves and cloud designs along the bottom of the sleeves, paired with a simple silver ring and cherry blossom earrings.

Morro chose to take Reader to a Lantern Festival being hosted in Ninjaho's National Park. The park itself is huge, and so is the Lantern Festival, but its also a little pricey so Reader never had the opportunity to go, even though she wished to.

"Are you absolutely sure it's on?"

It was a sunny Sunday, and thankfully the theives in Ninjago City seem to be non-existent, giving the Ninja a day to finally kick back and relax with their loved ones.

A few moments ago, you had your little girl in your arms, swaying her side to side as you tickled her stomach. As her laughter slowed down, she started to gurgle and you were shocked at the fact that she was trying to speak.

Recently she had turned the age of two, which excited both her parents. Soon, she would be saying her first words, which she was close to.

You had the magnificent idea of making your daughters first words her favourite animal, frog. Wanting that moment to be special and remembered, you got your husband, Kai to film the event.

"Yes, (Y/n)! It's rolling! See! The red light is on!" Kai leans away from the camera slightly to point at the glowing red light.

"Okay, good. We don't want to miss a single detail." Biting your lip in excitement, you motioned to the lounge area. "She's playing right now, come on."

As you lead Kai to the lounge, you could finally see your daughter on camera. In one hand was a pink tea cup and in the other was a Kermit toy.

"Amaya, darling." You coo and kneel down in front of the young girl. Amaya glances up from her tea party, her eyes widening now that you were here in front of her.

Amaya was a gorgous girl and Kai always said that she was going to break every guys heart when she grows up. While that was his opinion, he was most likely right, if she was anything like her father. She had her fathers hair, attitude and his freckles from when he was a child. You hoped that the freckles would be permanent, unlike how Kai only had his as a kid.

She also had your eyes, nose and curiosity. She was almost always up to mischief, which sometimes gave you and Kai heart attacks.

"Sweetheart," You start and grab her chubby hands as she reaches out for you, "Mama heard that you could almost talk!"

Amaya lets out a giggle and nods her head, most likely not even knowing exactly what you said.

"Can you try again? How about you try saying 'frog'. Can you say that?" You made sure to say each word slowly, wanting Amaya to understand what you needed her to say.

"F-F..." The small girls fumbles with the first letter, her eyes downcast as she concentrates.

While you stared at your girl in adoration, Kai made sure to zoom in to your loving gaze then over to Amaya, watching as she touched her own lips. He had to choke down a chuckle.

"That's it! F-r-o-g." You tried to help her by saying each letter slowly and a bit slurred. Amaya stared at you for a moment, her eyes trained on your lips as you say each letter.

You watch as she gasps, almost like she had had the greatest idea in the entire world. She bounced on her feet a little, her eyes wide as she opened her mouth, "F-fuck!"

"Maya!" You shriek as a hand comes up to clasp your agape mouth, your face having shock and horror all over it.

While you stared mortified at your daughter, Kai was laughing himself dead on the other side of the camera, a free hand on his stomach as he laughs.

"W-Who taught you that!?" You look down to your daughter who was laughing as well at her father.

While little giggles leave her lips, she points a finger to her father. "Fuck!" She laughs out and ends up falling down on her rear end.

With wide eyes and a scowl, your head turns slowly towards your husband, "Kai Smith! Look at what you did to our daughter! Her first words! This is-"

"Hilarious!" Kai snorts out and with shaky hands, he zooms the camera in to capture the look of horror and pure rage on your face.

"You're so dead!" You yell out before standing up from your crouching posistion and sprinting at the laughing man.

Kai immediately halts his laughing, "Oh crap." He curses before sprinting off and away from the hands of his blood thirsty wife, the camera recording every bit of the situation.

While the two lovebirds fought in the kitchen, Amaya went back to playing with her frog. She picked him up and hugged him close to her chest, "Kermy." She mumbles with a giggle.

· He may be the Elemental Master of Earth, but under all those rocks he's a baby boy at heart.

HE.IS.THE.BEST.BOY.FRIEND.TO.HAAAVE!!! 

· First meeting wasn't anything new, you all met through Sensei Wu. You, Cole, Kai, and all the others. At first, you two were nothing but friends. Best friends for that matter...until a couple of years went by and Cole started to feel...different around you.

· He can't really be in the same room as you anymore without having to blush whenever he talked to you, but he was pretty good at hiding that from you. But once you're gone his face is red and you know Kai, and sometimes Jay, teases him for his crush on you.

· He thinks you're the greatest person to ever exist, need anything you go to him and he'll help you hands down!

· Expect a bunch of piggyback rides wherever you two go. Walking around the Monastery? You're on his back. Just making a quick run to the store, he'll carry you he does not think you're heavy at all.

· "It's like holding a pile of feathers." <3

· He can be very protective over you but he just wants you to be safe. He knows you can take care of yourself but he feels like a bad boyfriend if he can't do anything to help you when you need him.

· He also loves to cuddle. He's like a huge teddy bear you'd wanna hug forever! 

· Play with his hair, I swear it makes him feel so much better! All the stress he had rested on his shoulders drowned away when you touch his hair. You usually do it when you two are cuddling, or when he's angry at something and you use that to calm him down. 

· He loves to use nicknames for you, and the one he'll normally use is "Honey" or "Cake" ... Yeah, Cake. He loves cake and you're sweet like cake so boom it works. A rare one he'll also use is "BooBoo Bear." He will also use "Sweetheart" when he needs something from you, you learned that a little while ago.

· He's so scared to leave you alone during missions. There was this one time in the Sons of Garmadon take over, he, Kai, Jay, Zane, and Master Wu were sent to the Realm of Oni and Dragon for a little while and when they returned you were severely injured.

· He was scared to lose you, but when you recovered he gently tackled you into a hug and sobbed in your shoulder, you could feel his hands rub your back and grab the fabric of your clothes when he knew you were there, live and well. 

· He and you have karaoke moments together and it's hilarious when one of the others walks in on it. Cole's red from head to toe and you're just there standing like a statue as you look back from the said person and Cole.

· If it's one of the guys Cole will literally grab a pillow and throw it at them, chasing them out of the room but if it's Master Wu, Nya, or any one of the elders he'll cough nervously as he waits for them to leave. 

· You guys also cook together, but because Cole was banned from the kitchen, 3 times, Zane had to keep an eye out for the both of you if you were a decent cook and can handle both Cole and the cooking Zane will smile and leave the two of you be. 

· There was this one time Cole accidentally lit the inside of the oven on fire and a lot of baking soda was involved. After that, Cole usually just gets store-bought cakes or treats when he feels like it. 

· When you two sleep, he likes to have you in his arms. It makes him feel more confident and he knows you are protected. But that doesn't mean he doesn't like to be held, he loves it, especially by you.

· The covers are over both your bodies and the heat from his hold and the blanket made it feel like an active volcano in the bed. 

· Knowing Cole snores, (canaon) you don't really get affected by it in any way, but sometimes it does tend to get annoying but you say nothing because you don't want to make him upset in any way. Besides, everyone snores it's nothing to be ashamed of.

· In the mornings' Cole is normally unlikely to wake up before you. So you wake up in his arms under the covers, his chest to your back and his face by your neck. You sometimes tend to fall back asleep in his arms or you try your best to get out of bed....but that just normally wakes him up and you have a new problem to deal with.

· His phone wallpaper is the both of you on your first date at a bakery called "Cakes Delight" and you playfully rolled your eyes as Cole's eyes sparkled at the sight of all the flavors and dragged you into the bakery. 

· The photo is you with Cole's phone taking a bird's eye view angle pic. That made you laugh harder, and Cole grinned like he’d won something.

After a moment, you felt his hand settle against your back, warm, grounding it makes you shiver. He rubbed slow lazy circles between your shoulder blades, like it was the most natural thing in the world, “You don’t have to push yourself so hard, y’know. We’re a team. I’ve got your back, always.”

Something about the way he said it made warmth bloom in your chest. You hesitated, then leaned into his side, just enough to feel the steady rise and fall of his breath. He didn’t move away. If anything, he just got more comfortable, resting his chin lightly atop your head,

The flickering glow of Kai’s phone screen was the only light in the otherwise dark room. He was lying on his stomach, propped up on his elbows, eyes slightly narrowed in concentration as he scrolled through article after article:

His brows furrowed as he clicked another link. He wasn’t great at research, that was more of Zane’s thing, but tonight he was determined. You always acted like your asthma wasn’t a big deal, brushing it off when he teased you or when training got too intense. But after seeing you struggle to catch your breath earlier that day, he couldn’t stop thinking about it.

He hated feeling helpless. If there was anything… anything… he could do to make things easier for you, he was going to figure it out. Then a sleepy voice cut through the quiet,

“…Kai..?”

His head shot up like he’d been caught doing something embarrassing. He turned to see you standing in the doorway, rubbing your eyes, wearing one of his hoodies that was way too big on you. His heart did a weird little flip.

“What are you doing up?” you asked groggily, stepping closer as you rubbed your eyes.

Kai hesitated, then tried (and failed) to casually lock his phone and shove it under his pillow. “Nothing, just…uh—couldn’t sleep”

You squinted at him, then, too quick for him to stop you, you snatched his phone and unlocked the screen. Your tired brain took a second to process what you were looking at before your heart melted,

Kai groaned, flopping onto his back and throwing an arm over his face, “Maybe”

You stared at him for a moment before breaking into a small smile. Sitting on the edge of his bed, you nudged his side, “That’s kinda sweet, you know.”

“Don’t make it weird,” His voice was muffled, but he peeked at you from under his arm.

You giggled, setting his phone on the nightstand before lying down next to him. He turned his head toward you, eyes flickering across your face, taking in the way your lashes brushed your cheeks, the soft curve of your lips,

“You really don’t have to worry so much,” you murmured.

Kai sighed, “I know, but I still do.” He hesitated, then added, “I just… I don’t like seeing you struggle. If I can help, I wanna know how.”

Your chest warmed at his honesty. You reached up and brushed a stray piece of hair out of his face, “You already help more than you know, Kai.”

He rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide the way the corners of his lips twitched up,

You laughed, shaking your head, “Wouldn’t expect anything less from your hothead.”

Kai smirked, then, before you could react, he pulled you against his chest, arms wrapped securely around you. You let out a small oof, but quickly relaxed into his warmth, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

“Just so you know,” he muttered into your hair, “if you ever need me, I got you.”

You smiled against his red hoodie, embracing his warmth happily. “I know”

It was late evening, and you were sitting outside the Monastery, enjoying the cool breeze that signaled the end of a warm day. The world around you was calm, but your chest felt heavy, and each breath was a little more strained than usual. You hadn’t been doing anything strenuous, but your asthma sometimes flared up unexpectedly.

You tried to keep it together, not wanting to worry anyone. But the harder you tried to focus on the sunset, the more aware you became of the tightness in your chest. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale…

It wasn’t long before Lloyd noticed you sitting by yourself, looking a little too still. His instinct immediately kicked in….

something wasn’t right.

Quietly, he made his way over to you, his footsteps soft on the ground, “Hey, everything okay?” he asked gently, his tone already laced with concern.

You turned to him with a small smile,though it didn’t quite reach your eyes. You exhaled faintly, “Yeah, just… feeling a little off. I’m okay, don’t worry.”

But Lloyd wasn’t fooled. He could see the way you were trying to catch your breath, and it made his heart tighten.

“You’re not okay,” he said softly but firmly, kneeling beside you, “You’ve got that look, you know. Let me help.”

Before you could protest, Lloyd reached into his pocket and pulled out your inhaler. You hadn’t even realized you’d left it in your bag, but of course, Lloyd always kept track of these things.

“You’re not going anywhere until you take a puff,” he said with a smile, obviously not upset, just concerned, his voice full of that warm, caring energy you adored so much.

You hesitated for a moment, but the kindness in his eyes made it hard to argue. With a soft sigh, you accepted the inhaler, taking a deep breath as you used it. The tightness in your chest slowly started to ease, and you could finally take in a full breath without struggle.

Lloyd sat beside you, his hand gently resting on your shoulder, “Feeling better?”

You nodded, feeling a lot more at ease now, but you could still hear the worry in his voice as he spoke again, “You’re sure you’re okay? No more struggling?”

You smiled at him, the simple act of him just being there with you making you feel so much better, “I’m good now. Thanks for noticing, Lloyd.”

He grinned showing his perfect pearly whites, his usual playful energy shining through, “Of course I noticed! How could I not? You’re kind of my favorite person to look after.”

Your heart fluttered a little at his words. He was always so sweet, even if he tried to hide it behind his teasing.

Lloyd’s eyes softened, and without missing a beat, he wrapped an arm around you, pulling you into a comforting side hug,“Just don’t scare me like that again, okay? I want to make sure you’re always feeling your best.”

You snuggled closer to him, feeling so safe and warm in his arms, “I promise…” You sigh, I’m lucky to have you looking out for me.”

Kai general and Romantic headcanons

Half Indian and half Chinese.

His and nya's last name is 鄭 (Zheng), but he says it's Smith bc when they where younger he got in the habit of lying about his name so he Didnt have to deal with CPS.

His ma is from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, and was a practicing Hindu. Ray is from the 云南 (yunnan) province, and was a practicing theravida Buddhist. Ray is ethnically from the 傣族 (dai people, also spelt Tai in english)

Before his parents dissapearances, they both brought him to their hometowns, and actively taught him both cultures and religions, which he continued to learn about and even teach Nya about after their dissapearances.

On the other hand, that's what he thought about her, too.

Either way, once he comes to terms with his feelings, hes like a puppy.

HEY ANON!! i rly hope you enjoyed this and it made sense to your req, I'm horrible with these and I am trying to get better, lol. Also I'm sorry if it seems rushed, I got many more req to get through, but I tried my best with this one :]

You were silently reading when the door burst open, a figure stormed through. That 'figure' was nobody but your boyfriend. "Kai?" You yelled after him, closing your book.

Cole entered the scene, watching Kai storm off to whereever. He noticed you moments later and smiled, "Hey, Y/N."

"Cole?"

"Hm?"

"What happened?"

The team recently came back after a mission, a unsuccessful one at that. The Mechanic robbed a jewelry store with his 'out of the ordinary' noodle truck.

Unfourtuently, he got away...and Kai blames himself. The others tried to tell him it wasn't his fault, and they'll get him next time. However, Kai was in no state for 'talking'. He pushed them all away until they reached the Monestary.

"And yeah, Kai blames himself for the Mechanic escaping with the jewels. He won't listen to us, but maybe he'll listen to you?" Cole finished explaining, now walking toward the kitchen.

"Nya?" You called and she hummed in response, entering the room. The others followed behind closely. "Have you tried talking to him? I know your his sister, so maybe he might listen to you more then us?"

Nya chuckled, "You would say that, but he's not listening to me. No matter what I say. Your his boyfriend, Y/N. We see how much he loves talking to you. He's not the one to 'open up to others' but he's really close to you."

She tapped your shoulder gently before walking away.

You thought for a moment before sighing and going back to your book. He needs to let off some steam or else he'll burn me to a crisp. You told yourself, losing your train of thought as your read the words in the book you were reading.

Hours passed and it was dinner, finally. Maybe you could talk to Kai then? Nope. Turns out he wasn't anywhere at the table. He's usually the first one here, or 3rd depending on his mood, but he's always here.

"Where's Kai?" You questioned, looking at the team who ate their food. "I don't know." Jay shrugged, "Probaly still mad over something that wasn't his fault, for the 50th time this month." He took another bite of food.

You bounced your leg, rubbing your arm in worry. You know Kai and when he's like this there's no telling what he might do. You saw his plate on the kitchen counter and decided to finally speak to him.

You pushed your chair back and excused yourself from dinner, taking your plate and tossing the leftover food in the trash and your plates in the sink.

The others watched silently as you took Kai's plate and left the room.

"Kai?" You called his name out softly, knocking on his door with your knuckle ever so softly. "Kai, It's me." Knowing that will do little, you still thought he should know it's only you.

"Come on, you have to eat, babe." You spoke softly, waiting for a response.

Nothing.

Not even a groan, or a complaint.

You sighed. Grabbing the door handle and twisting it, slowly opening the door. When you opened the door and when you entered it was pitch black.

It was also really, really cold. you looked around the room.He didn't seem to throw a fit in here, actually it seemed kinda clean. Not what I was expecting. You told yourself, but you shook that thought out of your head. If Kai wasn't here, where did he go?

You entered the room slowly, placing the plate on a dresser beside he's bed. Your eyes scanned the room until your eyes locked on the open window.

You peeked your head out of the window to see Kai out in the courtyard. He was beating a punching bag like it owed him over due money.

You could tell he was overusing his power, his hands were burning a bright fire. He was sweating from head to toe. You quickly made your way outside to the courtyard. The moonlight mixed with Kai's fire light, along with the inside of the Monestary was the only thing lighting up the place.

"Kai?"

"What?" He grumbled.

You said nothing. Unsure what to say. You fiddled your fingers, figuring out what to say.

"Uhm. I know...your not feeling great. I just wanted to say-"

"I'm fine." He glared. His voice was husky and it sounded like he hadn't drink water for days.

"Kai. I'm worried about you."

"What's there to worry about, I'm fine."

You glared at him, grabbing his bicep and forced him to look at you. As you did, he's hand was on fire but you were to blind to notice. When you spun him around, he almost slammed his hand to your cheek but he stopped himself.

You both toppled over, landing on the ground.

"Fuck, Y/N!" He growled, getting up as you stood to your feet. "I could have burned you, are you stupid?!" He got close to your face, pinning to the wall surrounding the Monestary.

"Kai-Calm down."

"YOU CALM DOWN!" He growled, pulling away from you and you noticed his ears turn red.

"I know you think what hapepned today was your fault, but it wasn't! what's it got to take to make you beileve that?" You spoke quietly, not wanting to piss him off more then he already is.

"How about him not getting away in the palm of my hand! I couldn't get to him in time, I could've done something to stop him or-or slowed him down so I can-"

He paused, pinching the bridge of his nose.

It was quiet for moment.

You pulled yourself away from the wall, circling around him to face him. "What if...there wasn't more 'I'?" You suggested. Kai slowly managed to pull his head up and look at you, "What?"

"We're a team for a reason, Kai. Me, you, Lloyd, Cole, all of us. There was an 'I' we do things together. It wasn't you who let the Mechanic get away. You all tried your hardest and you'll get him next time."

"But..." Kai pants, "But I was the closest to stopping him. It's my fault he got away-"

"It's nobody's fault, Kai." You laughed, placing a hand on his shoulder. You saw he's eyes start to water and his lips teembles, but it was like he refused to cry.

"It's okay." You mouthed and he gently smashed his face into the crook of shoulder and you felt his body shake as he took a deep breath in and out.

You hugged him tight, not letting go until he stopped crying or felt the need to let go.
