🍄 okayy long story short I got the idea to make up another School located on Sages Island :>

🍄 It's an all-girls behavioral boarding & Magic School for the ages 7 - 18. The School has 5 dorms, and every dorm is based on a Disney princess.

🥿 Orcados - Based on Cinderella.

🐸 Parratol - Based on Tiana

📿 Elephador - Based on Anastasia

✂️ Albasan - Based on Rapunzel

🗡 Alpatel - Based on Mulan

🍄 Every 3 years, a so-called "Dorm Queen" gets choosen from every dorm to represent it in meetings with the Headmaster. The Headmaster is based on Pocahontas.

🍄 FUN FACT! My child oc Nico attends this School and is the Dorm Queen of Alpatel!

🍄 That is the School Uniform. As Students here are supposed to be 'Princess-like' after graduation, the Uniform is long like that to resemble a ball dress.

🍄 The School would be well acquainted with NRC and RSA.

in which: At first, you thought Annabeth didn't like you. Turns out she's just really hard to read.

authors note: this is for my pookie @chqsing-annabcth because she asked me so nicely to make her a annie fic!! also I think I'm a little obsessed with making platonic fics now. 🤭 literally about to become a whole series atp.

warnings: mentions of a nose bleed like two times & Annabeth being impressed older sister (ik, crazy.)

Being a child of Athena was probably one the the most exciting things to ever happen to you.

Ever since you were a kid, you've been at the top of your class. Mostly because your dad was a book and math nerd, but because you wanted to make him proud. You hated when you couldn't understand something, or you couldn't answer something that seemed so simple. You were a perfectionist, and it was something you loved and hated about yourself.

So, when you were claimed after winning you first Capture The Flag (downright, the coolest way to get claimed,) you bet that you were happy. Now you had a reason to act the way you did. The Athena kids were happy, you were happy, it was a win-win.

Expect for, what it seemed to be, Annabeth.

and yes, I'm talking about Annabeth Chase. Blonde haired, Grey eyed, Counselor of the Athena cabin and Hero of Olympus—didn't seem to want a new camper in her cabin. Which at first, it hurt your feelings. Was it too much to ask for some love? but after thinking about it, why care? sometimes people aren't going to like you, and that's okay.

But deep, deep down, you knew that it was more than that. It was bad enough that you were a perfectionist, but a people pleaser too?

You try not to think about the possibility of that being a thing. By doing what you might ask? sword fighting. It gave you a reason to fight the Ares kids (who always has something to say about how you looked,) and forget about your issues.

But currently, you were getting your butt handed to you by an Ares kid. Originally, you were supposed to be sparring with a whole different camper, but they ended up backing out.

The older camper held the sword to your neck. "What are you going to do now, hm?" He mused. "not like I expect you of all people to be able to beat me anyways."

"What in Hades is that supposed to mean?" You clapped back, your curls falling in front of your face. "implying that I can't fight?"

"You know exactly what I mean."

Your eyes narrowed. "Do you ever shut up?" you asked. You knew what he would say, but starting an dumb argument would give you more time to think.

"Nah, I like to talk—" Before he could finish, you grabbed his arm, twisted it so his sword fell, and caught it. "Now, next question: do you give up or are you going to keep on getting tricked?" You asked, wiping your bloody nose with your free hand.

"like I'd ever let an Athena's kid beat me.." He started, but quickly stopped when he looked over.

There stood a not-so-happy (and a slightly impressed) Annabeth. She had her arms crossed and she was staring daggers at the Ares kid.

"Actually, you know what? I give up. Take your win or whatever." He said quickly. You moved his sword from his neck and dropped it.

"Well that was quick, guess it's just another point for me-" You looked to the side and saw Annabeth. "Holy sh—I mean, hey Annabeth." You said as you took off your helm and held it.

"You know, the strategy you just used was a pretty good one." She said as she walked up to you.

"Really? you think so?" you asked in a surprised tone. She bent down to your level and placed a hand on your cheek. "Yeah, I do." She smiled, running her fingers over the cuts on your face. "Does it hurt when I do that?"

"Not really." You shrugged, leaning into her touch.

"Good. I don't wanna hurt my little warrior. " She took her hand off your cheek. "Anyways, I'm bring you to the infirmary. I'm pretty sure you should be a lot more tired than you are currently." Before you could say anything in protest, she picked you up and threw you over her shoulder.

"Hey! I did not agree to this!" you said in-between giggles. Who knew that Annabeth had a soft side, am I right?

Was jealous of Thalia because wanted to be like her,Thalia being a girl who defies and spits in the face of society's expectations of women but is still very proudly a girl and gets pissed when people try to erase that

Frequently describes women she finds pretty in an enchanted and awed way,which combined with all the prev points is most definitely gender envy

The Titan's Curse,the book where she enters teenagehood,had a huge focus on how she's 'not like other men' by the Hunters,who in the og myths were pretty much a metaphor for 'lesbians',if not outright interested in women and rejecting men as romantic options

Only ship them platonically but Annabeth never really shows attraction to characters she thinks are men other than her and Luke and she straight up said she never actually loved the latter romantically and always saw him as an older brother and was just confused because of how young she was so this makes both her being a lesbian and Percy being a trans woman click perfectly together

Specifically them being butch4femme since Annabeth is a tomboy who hates girlyness for herself and Percy as per stated before dosen't wanna be masc.Also,daughter of the king of Atlantis?'Her hair was curly,like a princess'?Gender envy strikes again!!

She acts like a Mom Friend very often,especially to younger characters,and i'm allowed to say that because i'm afab and a Mom Friend myself

Rick has commented on her sexuality but never her gender so it's not like it's been debunked

A joke one but Blackjack was called a mare in SOM yet a stallion from TTC onward so trans horse boy and his trans horse girl owner

Luke's relathionship with her heavily parallels his to Annabeth,Thalia and Silena so it's not a stretch to say this is unintentional subtext of her being a girl like them and him picking up on her vulnerability like he did them(Not in a 'chilvarious' way btw)

Jason and her remind me of many common main m/f romance tropes-The 'hotheaded girl x levelheaded boy' classic,tall girlfriend and slighter taller boyfriend,contrasting in a complimentary way powers,iirc it being obvious to everyone they instantly liked eachother(feel free to correct me and i'll remove this),Team Parents to the babies of the cast and 'Sweet Sixteen' joke since Percy met her first boyfriend at that age.Worth noting that this would make Percy Jason's best friend who's a girl and that he broke with Piper because their feelings for eachother were shallow and their dating dynamic was too by extent

Similarly,Percy and Annabeth fall under the 'dark haired female protagonist and her tomboy blonde best friend' trope that was so popular 2000s/2010s

More so motifs i think work well than evidence but sea related things are usually associated with femininity-Calling ships 'she',mermaids,pearl jewelry,the moon controlling the tides,the term 'Beach Bunny',etc

Her random reinforments of her 'manhood' are very inconsistent with the rest of her personality and we're given no indication Sally raised her on gender roles so it's less Percy being Percy and more Rick being a cis man

Rick also agreed with the headcanon she loves Led Zepplin so i googled to find out if they were lgbt and they weren't but what i learned was enough to let me know they're a hit with lgbt people for a reason

Again,just my own take,but i feel her being pastel and kidcore is more fitting than any other interests and style for her in addition to her being canonically punk and they're both in-character for her since she's got a positive opinion on girly girls and the second one is an excellent coping mechanism for constant childhood trauma

She's at most in-character,well-written and realistic when she just lets herself be instead of trying to be what everyone wants her to and to be brutally honest,this includes the fandom.She's a femme trans woman and i'm right
