For me, this is something that I just got within seconds of listening and heavily admire it in all its context. Now I have heard of a few artists from Iceland, all of them great, so I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Hope to hear them in the UK next year. ~the freedom of the in-between~ I am a believer in breaks - however counter intuitive and frowned upon it may be in these online spaces. Particularly so when running a business virtually, it can be seen as inconsistent, risky and even unprofessional. But we’re all humans first right? For me, the pause is where i can hear most clearly - the rumblings of ambition and the echoes of 5 year plans all fade away and I’m left with what is most true for me. But I can only experience this in stillness. In silence. Taking time away allows me to become most honest and accountable to myself, and in turn to you in the work I offer. For me, now that the sun is high, the river swim ready and the days long, I feel inspired to re-emerge. Perhaps this is a moment to enquire within yourself, am I ready for a break? Do I need to become quiet to hear?
