My journey in Singapore 🇸🇬✈️🧳
I have traveled many times but these places are the ones I cannot forget.✈️🧳 This country I visited gave me wonderful experience.🎉
Let's talk about Singapore. Singapore has many tourist spots. I went to Marina Bay, Universal Studios, New Ubin Seafood, and more!💫
Their airport is so big that we couldn't even finish exploring it.
Tumblr media
Singapore is a very beautiful country.✨️ Everything there looks like you need to take a picture. 📸 (Literally)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But out of all the places I have explored in Singapore, my favorite one is Universal Studios.🌍
Tumblr media
The main reason why I really like Universal Studios is because of their Transformers roller coaster.🎢 The roller coaster is 3D, so you need to wear 3D glasses 🕶, but don't worry, they are provided to you when you get on the ride.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their food is also good,🥙 but the only problem is that Singapore is expensive. 1 can of coke costs you 5 dollars, which is equivalent to 215 pesos. But on the bright side, Singapore is really beautiful. ✨️
When we went to New Ubin Seafood, our food was free because my mom works there. We got to eat truly Singaporean cuisine. My favorite one was the classic chili crab. (I sadly don't have a picture 😢)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We also went to see the Mer Lion , I was expecting the Mer Lion to be really big, but it was only 8.6 meters tall. It was still a fun experience, I even got a picture with it.

3 kinds of crabs New Ubin Seafood, Singapore Top: Black Pepper Crab Middle: Salted Egg Crab Bottom: Crab stir fried with roasted garlic. The Garlic Crab was awesome. I've had better versions of the Black Pepper Crab (Eng Seng Coffeeshop) and Salted Egg Crab (theirs didn't have enough curry leaf and chilli padis), but this simple style of preparation paired really well with the fresh crab. This has also been a PSA to potential tourists to not get so hung up on Chilli Crabs.

[Singapore] Garang Grill - a Slake x New Ubin Seafood pop-up.
Tumblr media
We were devastated when we first caught wind that Slake at Swan Lake Avenue was closing; it isn’t so much that it’s a regular hangout, but Slake is one of those mod-Sin restaurants opened by a local boy, the kind of homegrown business that we always root for.
That disappointment turned to relief when we found out that the reason for the closure was because owner of Slake, Jeremy Cheok, has joined the wonderful folks over at New Ubin Seafood, a local success story in the Singapore F&B scene.
Cheok is slated to support New Ubin Seafood’s expansion plans in the near future; one of those concepts they are trialling is a pop-up at Slake called Garang Grill, essentially a version of New Ubin Seafood without the zichar element.
Garang Grill is of course also a natural and clever extension for one of the signature dishes that has helped propel New Ubin Seafood into fame - their Angus beef steak, served by weight and comes with a load of sides including the heart attack-inducing beef fried rice flavoured with beef drippings. The new grill concept will extend itself to other kinds of meats and seafood.
Tumblr media
The magic behind Garang Grill is the use of a Mibrasa charcoal grill, which sears the meat quickly to give it a perfect charred note without compromising on tenderness. The best way to witness the result is by ordering the Crispy Pork Jowl ($12/125g); that part of the meat is strongly comprised of fat, and would melt away under prolonged cooking. But what you get here is a perfectly grilled piece of jowl that retains all the juicy fatness while somehow obtaining a lovely charred crust on the outside in just five minutes in the oven.
Tumblr media
For beef you get to choose from two different cuts, USDA Prime Ribeye ($18/100g) or the USDA Angus Short Rib ($12/100g). If you have to choose, go for the cheaper short rib; there’s a lot more flavour going on even if marbling is not as even, and you save money that way. Other meat options are BBQ St Louis Pork Ribs ($38 for 6 ribs), and a most delicately flavoured New Zealand Lamb Cutlets ($28 for 3 ribs) and comes without that gamey note many despise.
Tumblr media
A surprising favourite was the LL Chicken ($26 for half chicken), so juicy it bursts with meat juices in each bite. And we like that despite it going through a sous-vide process before being grilled, the meat fibres of the chicken hadn’t turned into a tasteless mush the way some other restaurants treat it.
Tumblr media
For those not into meat, there’s seafood as well. The Tiger Prawns ($28/250g) are delightfully ocean sweet, but the fantastically fresh Grilled Salmon Fillet ($26/200g) could do without the strangely sweet marinade. We’d love to see a sambal stingray option on the menu though - we’re curious to know what a Mibrasa could do to that local favourite.
Oh yes, don’t forget the fried rice. Garang Grill has its own take on New Ubin Seafood’s famous beef fried rice, and those who enjoy their chili heat will be thrilled that Garang Rice ($12/300g) is a lovely spicy version. It’s a more superior version too, mainly because the spiciness from fresh ground chilli helps cut through the rice’ richness.
All in all, though, the food is way, way above average, and worth the trip to the three-month setup in the private residential district of Opera Estate. Cheok reveals that they’re currently looking for a new space for Garang Grill once the current lease at Slake is up and pop-up is over. In the meantime, those who live in the East can get a taste of New Ubin Seafood without travelling all the way to the other end of the island.
You can find the New Ubin Seafood popup Garang Grill at Slake on 15 Swan Lake Ave.

Dont Miss These Spots In Singapore
If you’re our old reader, you must be aware of our infinite love with Singapore. This destination is one of the greatest gems. Want to know why it is considered as a trending destination? Look no further and continue reading this blog.
As small as Singapore is, there is actually a lot more inside. Travel Dil Se would say that you may require five days, spanning over a weekend. That’s just sufficient time for sightseeing of iconic locations, indulging in local cuisines, doing a bit of shopping, and of course, checking out the bubbling bar scene that has been brewing the last few years.
Tumblr media
If we talk about, the three not-to-miss activities for a traveller who is new to Singapore?
Aside from a lot of “spiritual” experiences at bars, enjoy the more popular touristy activities like heading to the top of the Marina Bay Sands to see the skyline, and the amazing Zoo and Night Safari, which is really outstanding. For a more “Singaporean” experience, Travel Dil Se recommend:
1. Eat at a hawker center or kopitiam. A hawker center is a food court with lots of different food stalls, and a kopitiam is a traditional coffee shop. The experience of trying different dishes—let alone ordering in another language—is super fun! Also, you will catch a glimpse of the infamous “Chope” festival, where patrons use inanimate objects like umbrellas, bags, name cards, and (the most famous of them all) the tissue packet to “reserve” their seats as they go to get their food
2. Try the notorious durian at a 24-hour roadside fruit stand. With its pungent aroma and yellow sticky sweet and bitter flesh, the durian aka “king of the fruits” is a real hit or miss. You either love it or hate it.The scent from the fruit lingers on your fingers and breath for hours; there’s an old wives remedy to get rid of the scent—add salt onto the inside of the durian husks and drink water from it. Given that the fruit stands are open 24 hours, you can build up some liquid courage before attempting this. If you are looking for the best International Travel agency in Delhi ensure to go with travel dil se.
3. A small island located on the eastern coast of Singapore, Pulau (which translates to “island” from Malay) Ubin is home to Singapore’s last few remaining “kampungs” (village community) from a forgotten past. Before all the skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, Singapore was made up of many kampungs scattered across the island.
It’s an insight into a bygone era; and the island is also great for outdoor activities like cycling and kayaking. Top it all off with a delicious seafood meal from the island’s small group of family-owned restaurants. There is even a house near the end of the bicycle tracks that owns a pet boar! You can bring your own fruits and feed her.

Majella GPL68 2014 is the first release of a new wine from Majella Wines and we were apparently the first in Singapore to taste it. The wine was added as a surprise by Proj Lynn to Wine Exchange Asia‘s 2018 Majella Vintage Tasting at New Ubin Seafood @ Chijmes.
Tasting the Majella GPL68 with Ros and Prof Lynn added to the occasion, everyone at the dinner appreciated you sharing it with us.

Jimbaran Surganya Seafood Di Bali Selatan
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jadi kalau mau lihat sunset datangnya sih sekitar pukul 17.00 WITA.
Tumblr media
Seafood ditemani Degan Ijo.New Furama Cafe terkenal dengan menu seafood-nya. Seperti cumi-cumi, kerang, kepiting, ikan, lobster dan masih banyak lainnya. Saya memesan ikan bakar dan kerang, ditemani sayur kangkung, terong goreng, dan aneka sambal. Lebih tepatnya sambal tomat dan sambal terasi. Kemudian untuk minumnya saya pilih es degan/kelapa hijau. New Furama Cafe memiliki ruangan indoor dan outdoor.
Tumblr media
Suasana bagian indoor cafe. Lokasi New Furama Cafe adalah di Jalan Pantai Kedongan No. 24, Kelurahan Jimbaran, Kecamatan Kuta Selatan. Sumber: Travel Blog Read the full article

3 Nature Reserves in Singapore That Inspire an Eco-Friendly Modern Era
Tumblr media
The human being took giant leaps in the field of science and technology in past one century but unfortunately, all these developments have come at the cost of environmental degradation. The pollution is on an alarming rise and in fact, reached toxic levels in many developing countries. This may not sound like a concern for you today if you are at a less polluted place but make no mistake, you would be living in a fool’s paradise if you believe you will escape this disastrous epidemic forever.
Therefore, it is better to deal with this major threat lying ahead of us now than never. The solutions may not be easy to implement but thankfully, we have got an example in Singapore that has managed a precise equilibrium between development and nature. Even within a very small territory, Singapore has cared enough to preserve several interesting ecological landscapes where nature has been left unaltered. There are many things which make Singapore unique, but the one to remember the most is the lesson it serves by showing the relevance of natural ecosystem and wildlife amidst all the success and growth achieved by it. If you’re interested in ecology and the environment, just don’t wait and book a trip with the Klook Promo Code Singapore to explore four stunning nature reserves of Singapore. They are truly an inspiration.
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Tumblr media
The hill of Bukit Timah has the highest land territory of Singapore. These hills are surrounded by lush green rain forests and have been reserved by the government to retain their genuine flourishing vegetation. The Bukit Timah can be reached by road and would not take more than half an hour to reach it from the city. Being close to the city, the park has a very nice visitor count on the weekends and holidays, wherein teenagers often come with their friend for a little picnic with their friends for leisure.
The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve built on the top of the hill has very well marked pavements and trails for walking. The natural ecosystem provides a very refreshing feel to the human senses with the fresh aromatic air of green plants all over the place. If to be honest, the islands of South East Asia were all supposed to be like this if not for human interventions and developments. The forest has giant ferns and timber trees with liana vines all over the place. There is richly diverse wildlife sustaining in this forest enjoying their natural habitat as they must. Unfortunately, the wildlife might not have been the same if it was a forest elsewhere in the world but Singapore.
Tumblr media
The major islands of Singapore may have been subdued by urban settlements, but there are still a few offshore islands completely untouched by human beings and Pulau Ubin is one of them. It is not as simple to reach this island as it would be to reach other bigger ones, but it is nevertheless enjoyable on whole. One has to reach the Changi Point from the city and find a boat to for the island.
The island has ample things to offer that will keep you engaged for an entire day such as dirt biking, hiking, bird watching, swimming, relaxing on the beach and enjoying the local culinary mostly consisting fresh seafood. You can also enjoy coconut and rubber plantations in the interiors, the mangrove swamps and a pristine natural lake.
Sungei Buloh Nature Park
Tumblr media
This is a heaven of Aves wherein you can find a tremendous diversity of bird species. It is actually the home of northern migratory birds who move towards warmer regions in South during the winter seasons. This wetland reserve serves as the winter home for many such species as they flock down in huge numbers towards this warmer reserve park. The distance of this park would just be sufficient enough for you to reach in an hour from downtown. It is also noticeably known for the mangrove swamps swaying all around the wetlands.
The park has been developed for tourism and there is a visitor centre prepared for the same purpose. There are boardwalks from where you can stroll through the lush green surroundings and enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the beautiful colourful butterflies of different species which are present in abundant numbers. The park also has a separate region dedicated to the fish farmers, prawns and other aquatic species. You could also spot a monitor lizard or two in between those lush green surrounding if careful enough to notice them camouflage with the background.
For the best travel experiences in Singapore, use the trip.com Promo Code and avail the best travel deals to plan a pocket-friendly trip to Singapore. For the flight bookings, you can avail Cheaptickets.sg Discount Code for getting the lowest fares on the online ticket bookings.

I'm not usually a fan of petai, but this dish of Fish Roe with Sambal Chinchalok & Petai is easily one of my favorites from the evening's hearty affair at #NewUbinSeafood. Whole sacs of roe are deep fried so it's crisp outside and chewy within, then swathed with a rich, piquant Sambal chinchalok, all prepared in-house—the petai adding depth, though milder many other 'smelly' versions I've had. 📍The NEW New Ubin Seafood at Zhongshan Park . . . . . #nothingisordinary #myfab5 #f52grams #dailyfoodfeed #lovefood #eatingfortheinsta #flatlay #spoonfeed #huffposttaste #infatuation #buzzfeast #feedyoursoull #cheatmeal #tastingtable #forkyeah #heresmyfood #eater #eattheworld #foodblogfeed #singaporean #sgvsco #gf_singapore #yoursingapore #thisissingapore #MediaTasting #FindNewFood (at New Ubin Zhongshan Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bu3tMIqh23U/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1t3nyzmr549j3
