DAD SEUNGMIN PLS🥺💕 loved the hyunlix one!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ahhhh thank you thank you for requesting! it's people like you who make it a joy to write! ye ye ye
~~~~~
🤎🐾 puppy love~ seungmin as a dad
~~~~~
*~alexa play higher by albert posis~*
🐻you know the feeling when you’re just so in love that your braincells cease up. yeah that's seungmin the pussy drunk guy who was still shocked at the news of the pregnancy like he wasn't the one who knocked you up even though you just had sex two weeks ago
🐻it's the seungmin way to flash the brightest smile even though he is just confused, and that is literally the mood the entire time he is a dad, he mightn't get it sometimes but he'll just go along with it
🐻is somehow the most prepared person in the entire universe even though he pretty much just sits there being himself, don't question it
🐻everything was unexpected, yet he was still so unbelievably stoked to even have a baby with you. he was and still is such a sentimental guy when it comes to his relationship with you and his love and admiration for you and your relationship keeps growing regardless of whether you were pregnant or not
🐻but on that note he thinks you're absolutely glowing these days and seeing you like that makes him the proudest husband or husband to be and he would definitely be the type to make you feel more at home around his family and creating a happy life and vibes for you and your baby
🐻he definitely doesn't see your baby as a pet, that would be terrible but he 100% was the one to keep insisting that he gets to choose their name. it's.... different but in the sweetest way possible so imagine this, meeting seungmin you were absolutely whipped by his wit and intelligence and you knew that dates with him would be memorable and in this case the first 12 dates were so unique and creative in the way that you did the same thing each time
🐻you would receive a text to say the was having a day off and that he wanted to go out, you'd wait for him to meet you on the corner of the dorm rooms and once he was in sight he'd give a cheerful wave and you'd proceed to walk to his favourite park and once you were there you would talk about anything on your mind as he nudged the rocks with his feet until he found a pretty one to give it to you just so you could go and skip it across the water
🐻 which makes sense that he pushed the name beomseok which simply means "pattern of a rock"
🐻repeat after me, seungmin definitely doesn't think your baby is the same species as kkami or berry but seungmin happily passed down his puppy boy role to beomseok and dress him up in cute costumes just to spam his entire list of contacts with photos
🐻everyone will know what beomseok looks like, they could pick him out of a crowd thanks to seungmin's monthly updates
🐻every day is a dream because 9 times out of 10 you are waking up to both of your boys smiling brightly. the boys actually get the harsh version of seungmin if they knew seungmin would become this soft during fatherhood they would have adopted many many kids
🐻his kid pops up everywhere and i mean everywhere : on an ad for diapers, skz-talker, music videos, on stage. home boy has a cute ass kid and he lets the whole world know, home boy also has the contacts to make that happen plus your child is a natural entertainer
🐻father-son baseball games whether that means attending games in matching jerseys or actually playing in the backyard
🐻side note- since he was so excited to actually play baseball with his son he definitely set his expectations too high thinking they immediately knew what to do when the ball was flying towards him aka he has totally thrown the ball at his kids head
🐻everyday you hear a lil wahhhhhhhhh from the kitchen, peak seungmin noises as he does a cute little jog around the house trying to escape your sons needy cuddles
🐻seungmin's energy is 1000% contagious so now you are gifted with not one but two seungmin's
🐻oh my god, this kid has everything that they could ever dream of and though you play a part in getting that to happen seungmin is a huge part of why their room is so cozy and comfortable, the brown and orange fairy-tale autumn tones all year around, the plush bears-he gets all cliché too with having mama, papa and baby teddy bears
🐻he definitely gives off the energy of the dad who walks his kid to school and even though he's rushing to get them there on time he's the one getting distracted by a random squirrel or the bug beomseok found
🐻different idol but this is literally dad seungmin and i'm screaming
🐻lastly, dad seungmin is like a calm family vacation at the beach where you huddle under the jetty building sandcastles, collecting sea shells and swimming until it gets dark, he is gentle, fun, meaningful, entertaining, a sense of strong support but most importantly he is yours

Ok so, curious about if you have any hypothetic winter holiday etc Lore in your diaper worlds, scenarios etc?
I know people like to use Krampus as a mommy domme but i like to think the North Pole has a whole division focused on ABDL filled with smoking hot all genders and ambigious elves. They have three jobs, cast a net over the internet to try to determine how well behaved ABDLs have been by their Caregiver standards, craft them toys that are up to the code and size, and occasionally make yearly or monthly rounds with humans to get up close and personal for either fun or observational.
The mysterious lady who does diaper delivery? An Elf.
The wise smart guy on forums who somehow knows answers to diaper relates questions with accuracy? An Elf.
The mysterious people at cons or gatherings who make someone ABs blush before mysteriously gathering? Elfs.
It's run by a 6'3 Elf Enby who chain-smokes candy canes, has a New Jersey mixed with Chicago accent, who used to work in North Pole HR but at the request of Mrs Claus, transfered over.
"It's a tough job that makes me wish i could get sat on by a 5 ton reindeer sometimes, but someones gotta keep an eye on the kids who despite growing up are still kids, never loosing the magic of the season."
They pauses and looks down at their Pear ™ EPad.
"Hey Clarence, better hurry up that Nanny bot. Shellys gonna need it to stay off the naughty list."
Hahaha, how extremely in-depth~!
I actually have an old little holiday sequence from a few years back:

Had a friend who insisted upon being turned into a "Santa Slave"...every year they remind me of just how desperate they are to suck Santa's big, thick candy cane~ u_u

This Young Musician is Taking Midtown by Storm - Find Out About The Newest Sensation in Folk-Rock
Tumblr media
Nov. 30, 2024
At the closing set of the Gay Goose Cafe’s monthly Young Voices night, the crowd was already thinning when a young, brown-haired girl came up
She wowed the crowd with classic rock covers and some heartfelt originals in a beautiful low alto, sung acoustic with just her guitar to accompany her
That girl is Luna St James, a fifteen year old girl from New Jersey. “I’ve been singing my whole life,” she told Midtown Reporter Janelle DeLuca at a coffee house event last week. “My father taught me everything I know, my family is all musicians.”
She shared that her father passed when she was young, and the guitar she plays most often was inherited. Her voice was almost “unearthly,” in the words of one patron, who added that they recognize her as also a barmaid in a bar in downtown Brooklyn
There’s also speculation that St James is the anonymous online artist and musician who goes by the alias Anïas. The voice is similar, though no one knows if it is truly the artist’s voice.
St James is also the younger sister of Archer, an up and coming musician who’s currently planning an upcoming US tour. She added specifically, “make sure people know I’m not dating him. That is my brother. I am lesbian. If you’ve seen photos of us, stop assuming we’re together, because he’s happily engaged and I have a girlfriend. If you like that stuff, try Alabama”
Written by Jordan Garicia and Janelle DeLuca for Midtown News. As always, tell us what you think below!

parings - wednesdayaddams x fem!reader
summary - wednesday and r learn about the wonderful world of taxes sksksksk
warnings - swearing but that’s it my dudes
an - big thanks to @myfturn for requesting this to become a series <3 ——————————
In your opinion, whoever invented weather was a terrible person. Winter nights in New Jersey were absolutely awful, considering the cold drop in temperatures and the humid air, you were suffering. Your body couldn’t decide if it wanted to bundle up under the covers or get away from them, which was excruciatingly annoying.
It also didn’t help that your heater had recently given up on you. Normally, you would assume your appliances in your luxurious gothic mansion would work perfectly, but all hell was against you and decided to make you suffer in the cold.
So that is why you were bundled up in your wife’s hoodie as you curled up by your fireplace. Payment files and your monthly taxes for november were spewed out around you as you jotted things down on a notebook. Your lip was in between your teeth, being chewed on gently as you calculated the prices for your water bill and electricity bill.
A frown of confusion made its way onto your face and you mumbled a small “fuck” as you stared at your water bill tax for the past three months. Your brain didn’t seem to want to work with you, so none of the written material was clicking as you read it.
Unfortunately, Nevermore never offered a personal finance or real world class, and now that you are an actual adult with an actual life you have to take care of, you felt overwhelmed and lost.
Usually Wednesday would be the one doing your taxes, being that she is the smarter out of the two of you. But, you being as stubborn as ever, you scolded her and told her you both needed to share the workload as you were now married and would share everything almost equally.
“Fuck!” You cursed again, throwing your pen away from yourself in frustration.
Now you could go ask Wednesday for help, you always did when you were frustrated or upset about things, but you acted cocky and overconfident about doing your taxes by yourself, in which she got irritated and told you not to ask her for any assistance.
Your eyes squinted at the pen, watching it roll around before stopping by the door to Wednesday’s private writing room. You could hear the faint ‘click clack’ of her type writer as she worked on chapter three of her fourth book. The full series could be see on a shelf in your bedroom; you would occasionally grab one to read and enjoy if you were bored.
You stared at the fire, it’s crackling becoming a comfort for you as you attempted to relax your emotions. For awhile, you just sat there, basking in the warmth and ignoring the tax papers laid out on the floor. You knew you needed to do them, and you knew the only way you could would be to ask Wednesday for help.
After contemplating your life or your pride, you caved in and chose to go request her presence. Carefully, as to not loose your cocooned shape, you stood up and shuffled to Wednesday’s office door. Your hand raised, pausing in a moment of hesitation before knocking on the wooden surface.
“Come in.” A voice called, prompting you to open the door.
There, was your gorgeous wife. Her usually braided hair was unbraided and tied back in a half up half down style as her wavy black locks cascaded around her shoulders. She was dressed in an over large white shirt and black panties, and surprisingly her feet were coved in fluffy black socks that you got her for valentine’s day.
Her back was to you, her legs tucked under her chair as she poured her little black heart out onto the pages of her book. You watched as her fingers danced across the typewriter, pause, and then begin typing again as she found a new perspective to write.
“You knocked.” Wednesday said as she typed speedily.
You gulped, pursing your lips as you shuffled forward so you stood beside her, peering over her shoulder at the paragraphs she had been writing. One of her hands slid away from the keys to caress your thigh, her thumb rubbing your hip lovingly.
“What do you need mi amor?” She questioned, her black eyes focused on her page.
You sighed, closing your eyes as you leaned into her comforting touch. The hand that was previously rubbing your thigh now wrapped itself around your waist, pulling you into Wednesday’s lap.
“Y/N.” She said softly, pressing her lips to your neck, “What’s wrong?”
“I’m frustrated.” You huffed, leaning your chin on top of her head as she continued typing.
“About…”
“Doing taxes…” You grumbled, a pout forming on your face.
Wednesday scoffed, squeezing you lightly as she finished her page. She gave your neck another kiss and hummed against your skin.
“I thought you didn’t want my assistance.” She replied as you hopped off of her, standing up to follow you.
“Well I didn’t, at first.” You mumbled, leading her to the fireplace where all of your papers were thrown about the floor, “Then I realized I wasn’t as smart as you.”
“You’re just now realizing?” She smirked slightly, sitting down on the carpet as you gawked in disbelief.
“My feelings are hurt.”
“That IS my job, is it not?”
“Nes...” You groaned, hiding your head in your hands.
“I’m joking, do you have a pen?” Wednesday asked, looking under a few papers for your previously chucked pen.
You nodded, walking to her door to retrieve the pen you threw from before, and came back to give it to her and sit with her.
Immediately she got to work, her eyes skimming each paper as she calculated numbers and signed her signature on certain papers that needed it. Your eyes shamelessly scanned across her face, taking in the small details that had you encapsulated every time you saw her. The freckles that dotted her face, the way her eyebrows scrunched up when she was focused, how her tongue would sneak out in between her lips as she worked.
“Stop staring at me.” She murmured, bumping her knee against yours.
You laughed, resting your chin in your hands as you gazed at with with a love drunk stare. She was your muse, your drug that made you feel all woozy inside; of course you couldn’t not stare.
“Done.” Wednesday finally said, setting the pen down on a neat pile of papers.
“How?!” You exclaimed in awe, staring at the finished tax envelopes.
She chuckled, music to your ears, and pulled herself into your lap. She unwound the blanket so she could slip into your cocoon, humming at the warmth you produced.
“I’m just flawless, cara mia.” Wednesday mumbled into your neck, placing yet another kiss there; her favorite spot.
“You sure are, mon cher.”
She blushed, landing you a sharp jab to your stomach that left you whining in pain as you doubled over against her. Her hand snaked around you jaw to inspect your face, her other hand running up you shirt to feel your ribs for any damage.
“You’ll be fine.” Wednesday droned before snuggling into you and staring into the fire.
You smiled, your arms going around her body to hold her closely. Silence was a precious part of your relationship, whether you both work in the same room quietly, or just gaze into the night skin together on the roof.
After a moment or so, Wednesday started to drift off into sleep, a small snore leaving her slightly parted lips as you cuddled her. In the rare chance that this happens, you soak in the peacefulness of just being able to love and protect her without her potentially getting angry with you.
What a wonderful world….

sunaosa week day 7: past / future
suna stands in the center of his living room, hands on his hips, surrounded by boxes. after a long and successful volleyball career, it’s time for him to hang up his court shoes, fold the compression sleeves, and frame the jerseys. his retirement press conference went without a hitch, and so did his farewell party with ejp. all that’s left is to pack up his apartment, and move everything to his new home with his husband in hyogo.
it's the start of a new chapter.
osamu is in the kitchen, carefully wrapping the glassware in newspaper and old copies of volleyball monthly. he straightens to stretch his back, suna watching out of the corner of his eye. “everything good over there?” he asks.
“yeah. where are ya gonna donate these?”
“probably the nearby restaurants. “i’ll bring the cups to ejp.” they were always short on coffee mugs in the lounge, and most of his are in good condition. “washio said he’ll take the pots and pans, komori will take the air fryer, and nagito wants the blender.” osamu insisted they’ll buy everything new for their kitchen, which is why most of it is being pawned off.
“i put the pots’n’pans in a box fer him. he can just take it whenever.”
suna nods, then surveys the living room. they’re taking his tv, but donating the coffee table, couch, porch chairs, and shelves. the books and pictures are already packed, accolades safely wrapped and sealed. the bathroom is packed too, towels tossed with his clothes, toiletries spent. all that’s left is his bedroom.
it’s surprisingly cluttered, despite how little he brought with him. leading up to his retirement, he donated most of his training gear, along with clothes that no longer fit. he prepares a box and starts going through his desk drawers, filled with old receipts, invoices, contracts, and documents. osamu joins him, recycling bin in hand. “thought ya might need this.”
“thanks.” suna inspects each piece of paper before tossing it, just in case. osamu continues to pack the clothes in another box, an effort that suna abandoned halfway for a change of pace. they work quietly, until–
“hey, rin. look at this.”
suna turns around. osamu has a wrinkled envelope in hand, his name addressed on the front. it’s sealed shut, so he fetches a pair of scissors from the kitchen to slice it open. “did ya write me a love letter at one point?”
“actually…”
inside are three folded pieces of paper. osamu stares at the first page – specifically, the date. “ya wrote this…five years ago?”
he nods, joining him on the floor. “yeah.”
“were ya gonna send it ta me, or…”
“i was, but…well, you know what happened.” although many of their friends call them high school sweethearts, they broke up when they were 21, were exes for three years, and then got back together on new year’s on the cusp of the fourth. the reasons for their separation sound amateurish now – they couldn’t handle the distance, they were chasing parallel dreams, they couldn’t, didn’t, wouldn’t make time for each other.
while they were separated, osamu opened three more onigiri miya locations; suna played in the olympics and overseas. osamu won awards for his food and service; suna became sponsored by top brands and corporations. osamu starred in documentaries and television shows; suna was featured in interviews and press conferences.
when they met again during the new year’s party organized by inarizaki alumni, both agreed that it made sense to try again, now that they were older, smarter, better. it led to an engagement. it led to marriage. it led to this.
a life together, walking down a singular path.
“i was in chicago, i think. i felt homesick after eating at a japanese restaurant because their onigiri…reminded me of you.” suna’s arm snakes around osamu’s waist, resting his head on his shoulder to read his own writing, shaky kanji after years of writing mostly english. “i missed you, but i couldn’t tell you, so i…wrote you a letter.”
he remembers that night vividly. his teammates took him there for his birthday, where all the dishes were recipes passed down through the owner’s family. as he ate, all he could think about was home, but what came to mind wasn’t aichi, hyogo, nor shizuoka. instead, it was osamu.
osamu, who would video call him for hours while working in the kitchen. osamu, who would reply to his memes or shitposts with equally cursed content. osamu, who would sleep shirtless so he could absorb suna’s body heat, even in the middle of winter.
when home is a person that you can’t have, what does home become?
osamu flips to the second page. the kanji is messier, strokes uneven, with increasing amounts of hiragana to substitute the characters that suna couldn’t remember how to write. he is quiet, eyes traveling across the lines, pensive. then, he reaches the last page, which only contains a few lines.
when i’m with you, i feel timeless, because my love for you is infinite, no matter the distance or time. i used to fear what the life without volleyball would look like, but i’m not afraid anymore, because i know that it’ll always be with you.
“rin.” a hand finds his, the slim silver band digging into his skin. suna looks into osamu’s eyes, the same as he did on their wedding day, and sees nothing but love in its depths, an endless pool constructed of memories between them, from the first day they met at inarizaki, to now, sitting on his floor among boxes, packing a past to bring into the future.
“i never told ya, but in all those years…i never stopped lovin’ ya, either.” his voice rumbles deep and tight, the telltale sign that he’s holding back tears. “i knew why we had ta do it, but…if i were more selfish, i woulda asked ta keep tryin’, an’ tryin’, an tryin’. yer worth all my effort.”
“i wish we were both more selfish,” suna murmurs. “but look. we made it.” he puts their hands together, matching bands gleaming in the light. “you’re a successful business owner. i had the best volleyball run of my life. and now, we have each other. we’ll always have each other.”
the letter falls as they kiss, enveloped in one another’s warmth. there is one part of the writing where the ink is smudged, paper slightly wrinkled, relics of tears shed for a lost love, now a witness to a love that is eternal, that will light their way through the unknown, that will guide them to a new life.
together.

New release from the patreon vault: tiny cryptid trio!
Cryptids won the monthly poll and I thought I'd have some fun and paint ones outside my usual wheelhouse :) Mothman, Jersey Devil, and Fresno Nightwalkers!
The nightwalker was the hardest one for me, mostly because their shape is so abstract it was a challenge to make it simpler and cuter

After a surge in home energy bills that left many New Jersey residents with costs that have doubled, or more, there have been widespread calls for hearings to hold the state utility commission, the governor and supporters of green energy accountable.
State Sen. Mike Testa, R-Salem, echoed those calls and said on Wednesday that much of the blame goes to Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy’s "Energy Master Plan," launched in 2020.
"New Jersey is already one of the most unaffordable states in the United States of America. Now people are being hit with energy bills that are essentially doubled. And look, I get it that it was a hot July, but it wasn't that hot that your energy bills should have doubled," Testa said.
One constituent apparently told Testa they raised their thermostat four degrees on average this summer in the hopes of saving money but that the cost still somehow increased "significantly."
Homeowners in suburban Morris County vented about the news on a local social media group, according to the Morristown Daily Record, with a Parsippany resident questioning a $782 monthly bill.
"Quite frankly, what I think happened is, via the Murphy Energy Master Plan that I've often called the energy disaster plan, it seemed that the BPU (New Jersey Board of Public Utilities) and the Murphy administration are working in tandem chasing this green energy dream.
"It’s what I call the energy disaster plan. It's a green energy nightmare," he said, adding that BPU officials went so far as to wear windmill pins at public functions amid New Jersey’s kerfuffle over offshore turbines.
In a lengthy statement, BPU acknowledged it had received correspondence from New Jerseyans and offered several potential reasons for the rate hikes.
The board cited increases in generation costs and usage, and it asked customers to contact their utility or the board right away if they find an "anomaly and cannot determine an explanation" A one-time $175 bill credit program is also available, a board spokesperson said.
PJM, the energy transmission company that covers much of the Mid-Atlantic, offered data to Fox News Digital on the matter as well.
PJM research showed electricity demand is likely to increase in the region particularly due to "proliferation of high-demand data centers" and "thermal generators retiring at a rapid pace due to government and private sector policies as well as economics."
Meanwhile, at the federal level, Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J., fumed at the BPU this week in a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, which cited "thousands" of constituents discovering unbearable bill increases.
"Given these alarming reports, I demand that the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) hold a public hearing in South Jersey to allow residents to voice their concerns directly to the Board," he wrote, adding the board must also determine whether there is a correlation between the rate hikes and the offshore wind turbine operations in his Cape May district.
Van Drew said New Jersey officials must take the situation seriously, and he dismissed claims that the "unseasonably warm summer" was the only variable.
"We need transparency and accountability from the NJBPU to ensure that the needs and concerns of South Jersey residents are being effectively addressed," he said.
Van Drew previously noted how Danish green power company Ørsted withdrew its windmill plans for the Jersey Shore despite Murphy’s full support and taxpayer funding: "They still couldn't make it."
While Murphy’s office did not return a request for comment, the governor previously praised his Energy Master Plan’s goal of 100% clean energy by 2050 in the Garden State.
"The Energy Master Plan comprehensively addresses New Jersey’s energy system, including electricity generation, transportation and buildings, and their associated greenhouse gas emissions and related air pollutants," he said.
In a statement Tuesday, the Murphy administration highlighted a "Residential Energy Assistance Payment (REAP) Initiative" to provide financial relief to thousands of households, of the same $175 figure cited by BPU.
"Making our state more affordable for New Jersey families has been the top priority since day one," Murphy said in the statement.
State Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, D-Perth Amboy, added it is "great to see this resource added to the growing list of support available to residents who need a little extra help in our state."
Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz, R-Summit, said price-per-kilowatt hour increases averaged 8.6% in Central Jersey.
"It’s simple economics: When supply drops and demand surges, prices go up," she told Fox News Digital.
"I'm of the belief that Americans are innovative. … The government can't be mandating deadlines at the same time that they're … shutting down natural gas production."
Munoz, who serves on the Budget Committee, said there are likely Democrats who agree the rate hikes are a problem: "That's kind of a silly concept for them to think, like, do they not care that their constituents are the ones that are having to absorb these massive increases in cost?"
Fox News Digital reached out to state Senate President Nick Scutari, D-Clark, for such a perspective.
Citing attempts to make New Jersey vehicle sales 60% electric by 2035, Munoz said there won’t be the proper infrastructure to fulfill the need, regardless of opinions on EVs themselves.
When Testa was asked about other states’ similar green energy endeavors – such as then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo shuttering the Indian Point nuke plant on the Hudson River opposite Haverstraw in 2020 – he expressed relief that crackdowns hadn’t gotten that far at home.
A similar nuclear plant in Lower Alloways Creek Township remains operational, he noted, adding that he is proud to have it and its jobs and generation ability in his district.
Testa said the state’s energy portfolio is 50% natural gas, 40% nuclear and 10% other, which flies in the face of Murphy’s aversion to additional natural gas production.
While some energy experts fear crises arising from nuclear power, such as the 1979 Three Mile Island meltdown in Dauphin County, Pa., Testa said technology has advanced since and that there are also small modular nuclear reactors similar to those on submarines that could generate safe, clean energy inland at low cost.
"By the way, we’re positive that those don’t kill whales," he said.

"...members of the Proud Boys threatened to break up a Planned Parenthood benefit and LGBTQ-friendly concert in Sussex County organized by two Democrats running for the county commission. The Proud Boys failed to show after an anti-fascist group promised to counterprotest." - Jeff Pillets, "New Jersey Has Shockingly Become a Case Study for Hate Crimes," New Jersey Monthly
The Piss Boys didn't back down because the police would be there. The Piss Boys didn't back down because they reconsidered their bigotry after calm discussion or vigorous debate. They backed down because anti-fascists threated to confront them if they tried to disrupt the event.

Look at Us Now - ch. 12
I’m dedicating this chapter to @taylorswift because today is Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) day. In the album’s honor, Rowan’s getting Aelin with those green eyes baby as the lights go down and giving something that’ll haunt her when he’s not around lmao
Warnings: language, NSFW
Words: 4,2K
Tumblr media
Aelin was very close to murdering the next person who dared say she was glowing.
She didn’t feel like glowing when she was suspended from the OR until she got back from maternity leave—and no, Rowan had no idea the reason that happened was because she almost passed out mid-surgery.
She didn’t feel like glowing now that she had fatigue and back pain most of the time.
She didn’t feel like glowing now that she had a monthiversary to attend and a belly too big to wear something cute. Aelin frowned at the maternity towel she was wearing. Even those had to be in a whole new size for her.
Groaning, she sat on the bed. She’d meet the Whitethorns once again at the monthly birthday party Sellene threw to her daughter, and the only thing Aelin wanted was to look nice. It was so easy a few months ago, but a nightmare now that none of her cute clothes would fit, and even her Crocs felt like rubber socks because of her swollen feet. Crocs. Her discomfort while pregnant was so big she surrendered to the ugliest shoes imaginable.
Aelin’s preferred thing to wear at home was the biggest dress she could find. Period. Pants became a nuisance when she was peeing more often than not. At least she was in her own house now—the fourth one Aelin lived in since finding out about the pregnancy—and could be grouchy all she wanted.
She stared at her open closet, but wasn’t really looking at it. Just letting the hollowness in her chest take over.
Three knocks on her bedroom door. “Are you ready?”
Aelin groaned. “I don’t wanna go.”
“Oh, thank God.” Rowan’s shoulders dropped, and he immediately texted his cousin while rambled, “I get celebrating milestones, but who in their right mind would invite every Whitethorn in this city to their house every month? Who’s benefiting from those parties?“
Aelin snorted. “Not you.”
“Definitely not me.” He pocketed his phone and sat on the bed by her side. “Alright, now why don’t you want to go?”
She crossed her arms over her belly. “My nice clothes are too small.”
“What?” Rowan asked as if that observation was absurd. “What about the White Hawks jersey you stole from me? I bet that’s the nicest thing you own, pregnancy-sized or not.”
”Not funny.” She only borrowed that out of necessity. Aelin gave him a long look, then looked down at her bump. “I look like I have a watermelon strapped to myself.”
“What about it?”
Her eyes widened. “Are you being serious right now?”
She wasn’t upset just because of the belly. It just added up to the stretch marks, the limited options of clothes, the constant pain, the insomnia—
“What? I—“ Rowan leaned closer to her, looking lost. “What do you want me to say, Aelin? Of course you’re bigger. You’re carrying my baby. That doesn’t make you any less beautiful than you were before.” He caressed her shoulder, eyes roaming through her body as they got a little darker. “In fact…”
“What?” She asked, quickly enthralled by his eyes and hand on her.
Rowan leaned his forehead against her with his eyes closed and whispered, “Do you need me to show you how attractive you still are?”
Aelin licked her lips, trying to think of something to say as the pleasant tingling in her body took over and clouded her thoughts.
He cupped her cheek. “Say yes.”
“Please.”
He took her mouth, kissing her in a gentle and urgent manner at the same time. With her arms wrapped around him, Aelin opened up for him and swirled her tongue around his, making him groan.
She tugged at his clothes. Rowan broke the kiss and complied, but not without taking her towel off as well. He took her in, languid eyes assessing her body and making her shiver with his hungry gaze.
Rowan laid next to her and leaned in for another long kiss, and Aelin’s heart was as strong as her knees got weak. He trailed gentle kisses down her breasts, the dark line on her stomach, the stretch marks on her hips.
“You’re perfect,” he murmured against her bump, caressing it with his eyes closed.
Aelin’s heart skipped a beat. There were three words she felt a lot like screaming, but her tongue seemed tangled in knots when she opened her mouth.
The hand on her bump slid to her folds, making her breath hitch. Rowan kissed his way down until his mouth reached her clit, and—
She groaned. Not a good groan.
His head popped over her belly. “What?”
“I can’t see you down there.”
“Oh.” He frowned. “And you don’t like it.”
”Well, I do like it.” Aelin sat on the bed and tried to look as reassuring as she could. “But I want you, not some ghost pussy-eater—“
“A what?” He asked with widened eyes, his face somewhere between confusion and amusement.
Aelin’s mouth opened and closed as she thought about what came out of her mouth a second ago. “Shut up.”
Rowan chuckled and laid down beside her on the bed, spooning her close as his hand sneaked down her front. “Is this better?”
“Perfect.” Aelin’s breath hitched when he touched her again, her body filled with warmth. “You can also fuck me like this, you know?”
“What if…” he trailed, putting the engines inside his brain to work. “I didn’t?”
Aelin’s face faltered. “What.”
He looked pained beside her. “I don’t want to hurt the baby.”
“Ro…” Aelin turned around to face him and clamped her lips together, trying to take him seriously. “After all the pregnancy books you read, I can’t believe you’re worried about this.”
“I know how you like things. It’s not cervix-friendly.” He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. “And I don’t want the baby to be born with a sunken forehead.”
She couldn’t do it anymore. Aelin took off the invisible seal on her mouth and let out a loud cackle, laughing into his shoulder. From the way it was shaking too, he didn’t seem too upset.
Looking up, she stroked his cheek with her thumb. “Do you know what you’re being right now?”
The smile he wore lit her up from inside out. “A big Buzzard?”
“The biggest of all Buzzards,” she muttered into his lips.
Rowan didn’t reply, he just held her face and kissed her again. It started sweet, with his lips brushing against hers while he caressed her everywhere he could, but he couldn’t control the level of heat after her tongue was in. Aelin brushed her hands over his abs while giving long, fervent kisses.
She whimpered when he got to her neck. “I miss your weight on me.”
Rowan moved them so he was spooning her now. Her belly was too big for him to be comfortably over her, so this was their best option now.
“Is this okay?” He asked against the shell of her ear, making her shiver.
“Perfect,” she breathed when his hand met her folds, stroking before he pressed against her clit. She moaned, intoxicated by his heat spreading under her skin.
Rowan plunged one finger in and then another, making her grind against his fingers. His voice sounded nearly broken when he said, “You’re so wet, I could—“
“Do it.”
He adjusted Aelin’s legs in one swift motion and thrust inside her in another, making her a whimpering mess while he worked her open from behind. Rowan trailed kisses on the side of her neck and teased her breast as he set a rhythm. Aelin was squirming, feeling like she was bursting and drowning with pleasure at the same time.
Rowan fucked her in a languid pace, purring sweet nothings about how pretty she looked and how well she was taking his cock. Aelin's nerves were on fire, and she completely lost sense of composure when his hand went back to her clit.
He wasn’t slapping her ass while sinking so deep she struggled to stay upright, but Aelin liked soft Rowan. She liked this very much.
Her walls clenched around his cock, making his thrusts get erratic and harder than he was previously doing, and that’s what made her go over the edge. Aelin cried out his name, pulsing while shockwaves gripped her body. The noises he was making became strangled, before Rowan thrust one last time and came undone behind her.
He trailed a few kisses from her neck to her shoulder and sank into the mattress, still hugging her close. However, Aelin took two deep breaths and got up as fast as she could.
“Where are you going?” He asked, frowning.
“Squashed bladder!” She called over her shoulder while waddling her way to her suite’s bathroom.
Aelin sat on the toilet, feeling the relief that was just partially because of her bladder getting empty. She closed her eyes. Her heart was leaping, somersaulting inside her fluttering chest. This was good, one step closer to where she wanted to get. Things got too domestic, too cozy for it to be with her platonic co-parent she had non-platonic feelings for. She couldn’t take the friendship arrangement much longer.
Aelin‘s heart stopped when she saw blood on her toitet paper, but relaxed again when she noticed it was very faint and browinsh. Just a little spotting. She’d keep an eye on it, but it was a common thing during pregnancy. Especially after having sex. She smiled at the thought, still a little giddy.
Back on the bed, she didn’t bother getting dressed again before sinking into Rowan’s embrace.
“Everything okay?” He asked while stroking her hair.
She snuggled into him. “Sure thing.”
“I didn’t hurt you? The baby feels alright? Because I read pregnancy sex can hurt—“
“I’m great, Buzzard.” Aelin snorted. “Just a little spotting, but it’s fine.”
Rowan jumped into a sitting position. “You’re bleeding?”
“What? No!”
“I know what spotting is. It’s blood.”
“Rowan, calm down.” She tugged on his arm until he was laid down with her again, but it did nothing to loosen those tight shoulders of his. “It’s a normal thing, but I’ll keep an eye on it, okay? If it continues or if anything else happens, I’ll let you know.”
His eyes looked anguished when he asked, “You promise?”
She gave him a reassuring smile. “Of course.”
“Because you don’t tell me things sometimes. I hate it.”
“Buzzard,” she teased.
They stayed there for a moment, studying each other. She rubbed his frown with her thumb, making him give her a faint smile.
“Aelin, I—“ he sighed into her hair. “I don’t think we should do this anymore.”
She blinked, slowly processing how her heart sank with his words. Did ‘anymore’ mean ‘while you’re pregnant’ or ‘ever again’?
“Is it because of the spotting?”
He hugged her tighter. “I don’t wanna take risks with the baby.”
“Of course,” was her only reply. She was a little numb, and didn’t know what to think.
If Rowan meant they shouldn’t take risks by starting a relationship and reinforced the reason they decided to stay friends, she was screwed.
If Rowan meant they wouldn’t be having sex while she was pregnant, Aelin would need to wait at least a month after birth to seduce him into being with her.
At least the orgasm made her drowsy enough to sleep.
˜˜
Aelin Galathynius was a woman of many vices.
Her biggest one? Chocolate.
Today, it started when she craved a little dessert after lunch, just to find out her fridge was empty of sweets. And her stash of chocolate. Also the secret stash in her closet as well. If the drawer Maisie hid the sweets she stole was empty too, Aelin would be lost.
Her chest got a little tighter when she reached Maisie’s room. The little girl was staying at her dad’s this weekend, and Aelin missed her sweet tooth buddy and occasional chocolate thief.
When Rowan texted last Friday night to let her know there was some unexplained chocolate in Maisie’s backpack, Aelin didn’t think her daughter would take all the sweets and leave her high and dry. But from the lack of illicit food in Maisie’s usual hiding places, it sounded like Aelin didn’t know her daughter at all.
That’s okay, she could be mature about this. She could get her car keys and go to the convenience store for more variety, or walk one block to the playground and hope she’d find something nice at the vending machine. But what she could no longer do is deny herself a woman’s greatest desire.
After putting sunscreen and her sandals on, Aelin faced the short walk to the park. That unforgiving sun burned her shoulders the entire time, and it was a relief when she noticed the trees were shading some of the benches.
There was a shift in Aelin’s mood the moment she got to the vending machine. Reese’s! The selection was good today—
Aelin jerked when she felt something poking her leg, but relaxed again when she saw it was just Maisie. Frowning.
“Hey, Mais. I didn’t see you there.”
Aelin didn’t get her usual warm greeting, though. The little girl had her Whitethorn frown on. “You didn’t say ‘hi’ when you got here.”
“Honey, I didn’t know you were here. I’m so sorry.”
Aelin’s heart twisted with guilt, but she peppered Maisie’s face with kisses until that little pout gave space to a giggle.
“I’m playing basketball with Daddy and the other big people.”
They weren’t in the playground, then. That explained why Aelin didn’t see her. She crouched down and playfully squinted her eyes at her little girl. “Well, I am here because my chocolate went missing.”
“Intwesting.” Maisie narrowed her eyes at her mother. “Because you told me there was none.”
Aelin narrowed her eyes back. It was a battle of wills now, and neither of them would give in. Forcing Maisie to admit she took Aelin’s chocolate from the secret stash would mean admitting there was a secret stash to begin with. Not an option right now.
Aelin’s shoulders dropped in resignation. She refused to fight with her five-year-old daughter over chocolate. “Anyway, I’m buying more. Want some?”
The little girl’s eyes lit up like a Yulemas tree. “Yes!”
She chuckled and let Mais pick some. Aelin hid some of her sweets just to control the kid’s sugar intake and Rowan’s complaints about it, but it’d be cruel to buy some for herself in front of her daughter and not share.
It was nice, having some mother-daughter bonding time over chocolate and gummy bears. The shaded bench they found almost made Aelin forget how hot today was.
“I’m gonna miss this candy so much.” Maisie had her eyes blissfully closed and let out a sigh of delight. “We need to go back to the candy machine.”
Yep, this kid was Aelin’s. No mistakes there.
She playfully pinched Maisie’s side, making her squeal. “What would your father think of that?”
“Nothing, because he’s not here.”
“That’s…“ genius. So accurate. Aelin’s mouth hung open for a beat. Who raised this smarty-pants? She shook the idea off her head. “nope. We can’t do that. Let’s go find your dad.”
Maisie took the remaining chocolate, but then extended her hand back to Aelin. “Do your girl pants have pockets today?”
She gave a saucy wink, making the little girl giggle. “Sure thing, hun.”
They found Rowan at the small field, playing basketball with Lorcan and a few other neighbors they weren’t exactly friends with, but were often around here on weekends too.
Rowan was playing shirtless. His ripped back flexed as he picked up Charlie so the boy could reach the hoop and score a point. Something about him shirtless and teaching little kids how to play basketball gave her a flutter in the chest, and a wildfire in lower places than she was willing to admit.
His sweaty, bronze skin was gleaming under the Doranellian sun, and the way it highlighted his six pack and pecs was absolutely maddening. Aelin’s heartbeat stopped and came back at full speed. Rowan was running, working those burly thighs and showing some side muscles she learned about in med school, but could swear were myths. Looking at him like that, Aelin felt on fire, off-balance, out of breath.
˜˜
“And what did you do?” Yrene asked.
“I didn’t stay to play, if that’s what you’re asking. You know damn well I wouldn’t be looking at the ball.”
Her therapist tried and failed to hide a chuckle. “I just don’t understand why you’re upset over this.”
“Yrene, that game was obscene. You should’ve seen the other moms ogling him.”
“Taking his shirt off was understandable, given the weather.”
Aelin decided to mimic him with one hand. “Oh, it’s me, Rowan! Look at my shiny abs as I play basketball with little kids!” She looked at his hand as if it offended her, but continued. “I just love to tease everyone in this family-oriented park!”
Yrene leaned back on her chair, head tilted. “Is that how you see his point of view?”
“Alright.” Aelin crossed her arms, looking away. “Maybe I felt personally attacked by Rowan’s abs.”
“And why’s that?”
“Do you really want me to get graphic here? Voice every thought I had?”
She snorted. “That’s up to you. I’m literally your therapist.”
Aelin squinted her eyes at her therapist. “This is all your fault.”
Knowing all of Aelin’s mechanisms or whatever shrinks call it, Yrene leaned closer to Aelin, eyes glinting with hidden amusement and hands under her chin. “How so?”
“I’ve got my therapy, family therapy, all this quality time, now Dr. Blackbeak’s finally lowering my dose of the antidepressants. Things are so much better and…” Aelin looked away and swallowed. Things were better, and the only thing getting worse was the huge lump in the throat she got as a side effect. “all of this got me thinking about how things would’ve looked like if I hadn’t left.”
”You always tell me you two were never in a relationship.”
That fact was just another reason she felt like her heart was being squeezed lately. “It’s complicated.”
”No matter what label you used, you need to remind yourself that—“
“I did my best in the situation I was given, I know,” Aelin repeated that motto in a tight tone and ran a hand through her hair. “I knew there was no coming back when I did that.”
Yrene tilted her head. ”Are you speaking for yourself? Because you can’t decide that on Rowan’s behalf.”
Aelin squinted her eyes at her therapist. “You’re onto something.”
“I’m not onto anything.” She chuckled. A schemer’s chuckle. Or just a chuckle from someone who Aelin mindlessly blamed when she was called out. Yrene continued, “You told me an obstacle, and I’m questioning if it’s real.” She checked the time on her computer screen. “And our time’s up. Same time next week?”
Aelin said her goodbyes and got up. The session’s time was up, but she knew that whatever she chose to do about these old feelings, she first had to figure out how he felt about it all.
She just needed to start with the harder part. Wonderful.
Rowan, who decided to be her therapy escort when he found out her sessions happened on his free afternoons, was sat in the waiting room, reading a book and wearing… glasses?
“What are those?” Aelin blurted.
She had asked him to go to the eye doctor a couple of months ago, but assumed he had forgotten about his promise.
Rowan jerked on the chair. “What?”
“On your face.”
“Glasses?” He took them off and studied the thing too. “I got them a while ago. Turns out they’re great for reading.”
“Huh,” was all Aelin could muster. She blinked and thanked Mala when he closed the book and didn’t put them back. Yrene had another patient now, Aelin couldn’t go back and open another Pandora box about how good he looked with rounded glasses.
“Hey.” Rowan got up and took her wrist, stroking it in circling motions with his thumb. “Did it go well?”
“Perfect.”
Aelin smiled as if she hadn’t paid good money to vent about how slutty he looked last weekend.
˜˜
It was near impossible to shut her mind off during the short drive to Maisie’s school. The hardest part is that they were going to the theater with Sellene’s daughter after. It was a play meant for children, but Aelin really wanted to be able to pay attention to The Little Mermaid tonight. A classic is a classic.
Aelin got out of the car in the packed parking lot, feeling the wind tug at her clothes. It’d take them longer than usual to leave today, considering they were taking Breanna without Sellene there. She could always trust Rowan to pick the school with the toughest security measures.
They walked side by side, children and their parents‘ chattering as their background noise. Rowan looked good with loosened shoulders and no frown in sight. He wasn’t wearing a smile—a view reserved almost exclusively for his family—but she knew his lips would tug up the second he saw Maisie.
It’d be so weird to show up six years after they last hooked up asking how he felt about her. Especially when they’d still talk to each other the other day. She needed to listen to the signs before acting, but it was so hard sometimes.
Rowan was a practical person. He could’ve decided to accompany her to therapy because it was close to Maisie’s school and they’d both need to go there after. His decision could be motivated by an undying love for the mother of his child, or something as romantic as reducing carbon monoxide emissions. And Rowan did care about carbon monoxide. He said so the night they met.
Even if he really cared about her, she was the other half of his little broken family. Wishing her well was no indication of romantic feelings.
Aelin shoved her thoughts aside when she saw Maisie and Bree coming her way, and crouched for the crushing hug that was coming. Those small bodies combined almost knocked her down on the floor, but Aelin wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Mommy!” Maisie yelled, “Did you know Bree’s never been to the Peter?”
“The theater, Mais,” Rowan corrected around a chuckle.
Aelin caressed the girl’s pale blonde hair. “Is that right, Bree?”
She gave a shy nod, making her smile. Holy rutting Mala, those strong Whitethorn genes. When they were side-by-side and wearing the same uniform like this, Sellene’s daughter looked like Maisie’s shy twin.
“You’re gonna love the Peter, Bree!” Her daughter yelled and flailed her arms around, filled with excitement. “The screen has a huge hole where the people go.”
“Calm down, you two.” Rowan playfully tugged at Maisie’s pigtails. “The play is just next week.”
“No, it’s not.” Aelin turned to Rowan and tilted her head. “I checked the tickets this morning. It’s definitely today.”
“Aelin, she can’t go.” He lowered his voice. “Her flu shot, remember?”
“Are you talking about the flu shot she got last week?”
“This one exactly.” He crossed his arms, giving her a hard look. “It has a two-week immunity window—“
Aelin mirrored his expression, feeling her muscles tighten. “I’m a doctor, I’m aware—“
“And I’m not putting Maisie in a theater with hundreds of kids without being sure that—“
“I want to see Ariel!” The little girl’s wail interrupted them. Her face was reddened already and filled with tears, and Breanna was on her side, whispering anything a five-year-old deemed soothing.
“We are.” She gave Rowan a hard look and crouched next to Maisie, caressing the little girl’s head. ”That’s just your father being your father. He’s been careful like that with you since you were inside my belly, did you know that?”
Maisie shook her head and sniffed. Well, that was on Aelin. She didn’t talk much about the time she was pregnant, but she’d do anything to make her little girl smile.
“Do you know what I’d call him back then?” A pause to spark Maisie’s interest. “A Buzzard.”
“Like the bird?”
“You’re right.“ With her index finger, Aelin mimicked the animal with sweeping movements around Maisie’s head. “That bird that keeps flying close by, watching you all the time.”
Aelin watched her daughter expectantly, waiting until her brain made the right connections. Maisie perked up a beat later, her pine-green eyes slowly widening.
“That’s Daddy!” She turned to her father, pointed a finger at him and shouted, “Buzzard!”
Aelin was chuckling at Maisie’s newfound source of excitement, trying to bury the weight in her chest, when she saw Rowan’s face. He didn’t say a word, just let Maisie repeat the nickname over and over around him as he vacantly stared at Aelin. Her face faltered. He swallowed, and his gaze on her was so intense she looked away.
That was so tone-deaf of her, and Rowan clearly didn’t like it. Just because Aelin was reminiscing these days, didn’t mean he wanted that too.
“Come on, Bree.” Aelin tugged on the girl’s hand. “Let’s see how long it takes before your teacher lets you leave without your mom here.”

Woso Discord Server
Hello! Hope whoever is reading this is doing well!
At the beginning of this year, me and my mate made a discord server dedicated to women’s football, because like most people, we found that there’s not a lot of people to talk to about women’s football. Of course with the increasing numbers of fans for the sport, it is slightly easier to spark up a conversation to someone about it, but it sucks for people like us who live in a country where football isn’t the most popular sport to relish victories silently to ourselves.
Since then we have grown our numbers well, slowly but surely we now have a VERY active server with around 320+ people!
Our server is very well structured, with certain channels dedicated to certain fans, transfer news, fixture updates, a fantasy wsl chat, a place to share your amazing jersey collection or your favourite edits! Other than all the woso related channels, we have other channels that are for general conversations, music chats, a place to talk about other sports, and a place to share a photo of your furry friends! In order to keeping our server active, we host weekly activities where members all come together to chat and play some games! We are also starting to do monthly giveaways! Out next giveaway will be a Manchester City and PSG signed shirt from the players 👀
I really hope you consider joining our lovely and growing community 🤍 Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this.
Here is the link to our server -> https://discord.gg/wosowonderhub
If the link doesn’t work you can always search up WOSO Wonderhub on disboard or any social media platform and we should pop up 🤍 -

TMNT: SATURDAY MORNING ADVENTURES - APRIL SPECIAL
April 2024
By Erik Burnham , Sarah Myer, Jack Lawrence, Luis Antonio Delgado, and Ed Dukeshire.
Tumblr media
April gets zapped into a different dimension where she has to help Ace Duck get to the heart of K'avila. In the backup story, Raph and Mikey help Mona Lisa get to the bottom of a case.
Tumblr media
SCORE: 10
It may be the presence of Ace Duck, but reading this special reminded me of when I was little, and I would read these books that had a few Disney comic-books each. This universe has the potential to be like that. I wouldn't mind monthly specials going side by side with the main series (but I think right now these are kind of quarterly).
This was also an excellent opportunity to shine a light on April, and she did great in this adventure. I guess, in a way, reporters are very much like adventurers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, first cameo of Scratch, as I predicted...
Tumblr media
The book also implied that Mona Lisa has been a friend of the Turtles ever since they met (and she has been learning ninja skills from Splinter as well). But because she is from New Jersey, they can't hang out all the time. We also find out about Don Turtellini... not to confuse with Don Turtelli. He's another cousin. This probably also explains why there were two different looking Don Turtellis with the same MO.
It was great reading April, and revisiting Mona Lisa. Really loved this issue.

A list of national grassroots feminist organizations that are going to be looking for membership right now:
Young Feminist Party (formerly known as Generation Ratify): founders of the #ERANow movement, a student-run organization trying to get the Equal Rights Amendment finally published to enshrine the rights of women and gender expansive folks in the Constitution. I know personally that they are going full throttle ahead in the next couple of months to try and get Biden to do this before Trump takes office as our surest bet to protect trans and abortion rights. Most of their membership is based on the East Coast but they are a national organization that anyone can join from anywhere.
The Feminist Front: an organization of youth 15-35 advocating for feminism that fights back (hence the name “front”). They organize around reproductive rights, protecting trans youth, prison abolition, combatting disinformation in immigrant communities, and Palestinian freedom. They work closely with the Young Feminist Party. Their leadership is located in LA and NY but they are a national organization that anyone from anywhere can join and they are eager to expand to more local chapters.
Palestinian Feminist Collective: an intergenerational body of Palestinian and Arab feminists that centers the Palestinian struggle for social and political liberation through anti-colonialism. Their current project is the Palestinian Feminist Futures Calendar & Program, where they created a calendar of Palestinian feminist art and have a monthly Zoom event centered around the activist principles of each art piece.
Black Feminist Future: a political hub of Black feminists focused on galvanizing and harnessing the social and political power of Black women and gender-expansive folks. They are focused on developing Black feminist leaders, disrupting the culture of misogynoir, and improving the material conditions for Black women, girls, and gender-oppressed people. They host town halls, raise funds for Black reproductive justice organizations, conduct labs and trainings, work to get out the vote for Black feminist candidates, and organize in-person socials for Black feminists to meet and build organizing power. They are mostly based in the Southern United States but you can join from anywhere.
Af3irm: An organization of women engaged in transnational feminist, anti-imperialist activism and dedicated to the fight against oppression in all its forms through militant movement-building and grassroots organizing in the United States. They have local chapters in LA, San Diego, Hawai’i, Boston, and New York/New Jersey.
Radical Women: a socialist feminist collective of cis women, trans women, and nonbinary people united by anti-capitalist feminist ideals engaged in multi-issue organizing for social and economic justice. They are a national organization based in Seattle; they have national online meetings on the 4th Saturday of each month at 2pm PT/5pm ET. They also have an Australian chapter.
Gender Liberation Movement: a volunteer-run national collective centering bodily autonomy and self-determination in the face of gender-based sociopolitical threats; specifically, abortion and trans healthcare access. In September, they organized the first-ever Gender Liberation March and are currently organizing an action that will take place in Washington D.C. in December as the Supreme Court hears the case that is challenging Tennessee’s trans-affirming healthcare ban. I believe they are mostly located in NY but you can join from anywhere.
The Ruth Project: a youth advocacy organization fighting against gender discriminatory policies. Their big initiatives are fighting sexist school dress codes, protecting Title IX, and promoting sexual harassment education. They are a national organization with members all across the US; they also have initiatives in Canada and Europe.
UltraViolet: an intersectional community working for feminist cultural and political change. Right now they are focused on expanding and protecting reproductive healthcare, ending sexual assault and harassment (including SA in the cyber sphere and AI), and fighting back against sexism and disinformation in the media. They work through social media campaigns, online petitions, and by leveraging connections to influence and pressure journalists, executives, board members, elected officials, and celebrities to make decisions that improve the material conditions of women. They’re a national organization that can be joined from anywhere.
I also want to shout-out Rising Majority, which is actually a collective of organizations that several of the above organizations are a part of. They host lots of great Zoom and in-person events across the country where you can meet folks from the above orgs as well as other like-minded folks, and learn more about organizing in general. They are built around long-term strategies for the next 25 years to build a united front of progressives and leftists and bring more people into the movement.
Lastly, a few things:
This list is not exhaustive by any means! I will likely be reblogging this with additions in the coming days. I wanted to specifically list feminist orgs because that is the organizing space I am most familiar with; I also wanted to only list non-local organizations that the highest amount of people would be able to join. I will probably update this list at some point soon with more local feminist orgs.
Please reblog with your own additions if you have any!
Many of these organizations focus on different specific issues, have different org structures, and use different strategies; some may be a better fit for you or more in alignment with your specific beliefs than others, and that’s okay! We need all kinds of people utilizing all kinds of strategies to build out our power.
You don’t need to know the first thing about organizing to join these orgs! They need volunteers and people on the ground. They will train you and guide you and help you and will take whatever you might bring to the table, even if it’s just attending their monthly calls. They just want people who believe in their cause and are willing to stand with them.
If for whatever reason you can’t join them, donate to them! Many of these orgs are very small and need all the help they can get.
Now is the time to get off your phone, get involved, get organized. We are stronger together, in community.
