Ketamine's Strange Effect on Touch: New Neuroscience Insights #neuroscie...
Recent neuroscience research has uncovered how ketamine, a drug known for its dissociative effects, alters our sense of touch. The study highlights how ketamine disrupts the brain's sensory processing, leading to a diminished or altered perception of tactile sensations. This discovery provides new insights into the drug's impact on the nervous system and could contribute to advancements in understanding sensory disorders and potential therapeutic applications.

Dozing Sperm Whales
When sperm whales need a nap they take a deep breath, dive down about 45 feet and arrange themselves into perfectly-level, vertical patterns.
They sleep sound and still for up to two hours at a time between breaths, in pods of 5 or 6 whales, presumably for protection. No one knew whales slept vertically until a 2008 study documented the behavior.
And no one captured really good photography of it in the wild until 2017. French photographer Stephane Granzotto was documenting sperm whales in the Mediterranean for his book on the creatures when he came across these sleeping whales.

I bet you didn’t know this… 🌟 you can’t attract what you do not feel ➩ you can think it, but if you don’t let your body feel it, you won’t be able to sustain it AND YOU WANT SUSTAINABILITY you WANT consistency, stability 🤯 this is the kicker because we live in a vibrational reality — when you’re affirming things that you don’t have + continuing to think that they’re so far from you, you’re actually pushing those desires further away from yourself 💆🏼♀️ your body literally has an emotional reaction to the past because you are basing your experience on what IS (this is what the subconscious does + it can be really helpful) IN ORDER TO CREATE COHERENCE, you literally have to become someone else 💃🏼 ➩ which requires you step into the unknown which is the only moment in which you can truly actualization the subconscious mind 🧠 when you are able to fully do this, you can retrain your body to be in alignment with all that your mind has learned YOU ALREADY KNOW ALL THE THINGS 🌬 now it’s time to integrate it this is where massive shifts happen this is where long lasting change happens WHEN WE TAKE THE TIME to move from the past into the future, we are no longer limited by past circumstances or patterns + automatically projected into our desired outcomes WE GET TO EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT and we get to experience what feels good 👩🏼💻 to access my databank of knowledge + resources, work 1:1 intimately through high touch support in telegram! now enrolling 🦋 DM to inquire! 3 applications available (limited time) make sure you hop on this because these spots will go fast and prices will never be this low again! 🚀 NEW BLOG POST + PODCAST ON THURSDAY with more info on this topic 👣 •••••••••• #workingwiththenervoussystem #reprogrammingthemind #reprogrammingthesubconscious #subconsciousmindpower #subconsciousreprogramming #workingwiththeplanets #workingwiththecosmos #childrenoftheearth #shadowworkforbeginners #neurosciencenews #neurosciencememes #cognitiveneuroscience #neurosciencecoaching #creatinganewlife #newlifestylenewyou #quantumleaping #quantumleapingintomyfuture (at Neuroscience Consultants) https://www.instagram.com/p/CejeeZGlRhF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Hi! I've followed you blog for a while and I was curious about what made you choose your major as Neuroscience? You seem passionate about it and I was curious to you about what drew you to it? I'm a student too and in a few years I'm going to be going to college soon and your blog and you made it look cool and fun haha so yeah. (hope im not coming off too strong lol)
Hi! you’re not coming off too strong at all dw!!
Honestly ngl choosing a major was probably one of the hardest thing I ever had to do (I’d go in a huge life crisis almost every two days for three years (no I’m not joking)).
I think what drew me to (cognitive) neuroscience is the possibility of it. There are so many things to explore in our brain, and I felt like it would restrict me less (you can study language, you can study AI, music, philosophy, and it’s all gonna be neuroscience related)
ALTHO i second guessed myself a lot (I still do sometimes honestly) sooo i
Asked around, took some classes in the fields that interested me
Wrote a LOOOOOT of pros and cons lists lmao
Checked out @neurosciencestuff @neurosciencenews to see what neuroscience research looks like (funnily enough some neuroscientists who’s paper I read are my teachers now)
In my freetime, i wondered about what exactly interested me in everyday life, like what would immediately capture my attention? what were the questions that made me rly curious? (kinda thought about going in astrophysics at this point ngl)
I hope it answered your questions!!!! whatever you chose, remember to listen to yourself, nobody knows you better than you :)
(for instance, everyone thought I was going in law, look at me now)
#god i need to learn to talk less#I HOPE IT HELPED THO#moon answers#remember its important for u to be happy!!!!!!! ur gonna be doing ur job for a long time#❤️❤️❤️❤️

A recent study by researchers at the Vollum Institute at Oregon Health & Science University has uncovered the role of a unique type of synapse connecting neurons to oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs). This synapse is essential for myelin production, the protective sheath around nerve fibers that ensures efficient neural communication. #SynapticFunction #OPCResearch #NeurodegenerativeDisease #BrainHealth #MyelinRegeneration #GliomaResearch #NeuronConnection #OHSUResearch #BrainSynapses #NeuroScienceNews #InnovativeResearch #BrainCancerResearch _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
