Okay, but do you be seeing the cast bts? Did you ever see them playing Duck, Duck, Goose? Did you know that Anjelika and Alycia Pascual Pena are like besties? How much can I bother you about how much of my life has been committed to this? Because, I found them during the "quarantine," so I was able to emerge myself when I wasn't at work or sleeping.

I haven't, but I haven't caught up with ANY of my casts lately 😫My sole social media existence has been restricted to just tumblr lately, so if I don't see it here, I don't see it. (and the only two stargirl blogs I follow so far are yours and hournites, but I literally JUST started dipping my toe into the stargirl fandom so I haven't been following long)

I actually did know about Anjelika and Alycia being besties, but I literally knew it from you. Like, you reblogged one of my sets of Alycia from Saved by the Bell and tagged it saying she and Anjelika were friends and I investigated from there because the name Anjelika was super familiar to me😅

I NEED to see them playing Duck Duck Goose though. I planned on going through your Stargirl blog at some point (not unlike what you did with my DoD blog a while back) so if it's there, I'll see it 💗

35. Do you write drabbles? If so, what do you normally write them about?

I do not do drabbles often because I cannot keep them short.  I try to keep them focused on a moment like a slice of a slice of life.  I have one in my drafts that I keep neglecting and I shouldn’t.  Especially since it involves like my favorite character that I did not even create.  I really should finish that.  

14. Go on, who are your BroTPs?

Liam x Drake: They are just funny.  It’s like watching grown men being stripped down to being children.

Samira x Sybil: I liked when Samira was talking about her child and Sybil was talking about her plant.  

The Heist Crew: I actually like how the whole crew plays off each other.  Just the snarky comments and barbs.  I am here for The Heist for that reason.  Like not necessarily for the dick.  

Kamilah x Adrian: You know she treats him like a little brother.

I don’t know if we have that kind of time.  I will list current faves.

Choices: Liam x MC (I haven’t really wanted to read much else)

Lovestruck: Duke x MC is bae.  I am okay with Renzei but he is wild and reckless.  Diego is sweet but that slow build is getting on my nerves.  Razi too.  I have no patience and Duke is still bae.  

Criminal Minds: Simmvez, Tara x screentime, Spencer x less screentime

Fanfiction asks

I have a few faves. I mostly drink floral teas, sometimes fruity ones, if I'm not drinking them for health reasons.

Top 5:

Rose, hibiscus, and raspberry (that's one tea) blend that I get from The Republic of Tea. Someone else might make one, but that's the brand that I have used for it. I also will just drink hibiscus tea whenever I don't have that one.

Vanilla chai. I've always got some onhand and just love it, with a little agave and some nondairy creamer. I just love the taste of it. I don't drink it for medicinal uses.

Lavender and/or chamomile. I'm generally pretty high energy/high anxiety and those help chill me out to match the tone I try to set for my home. I partake in a LOT of lavender things, but sometimes don't feel like that sharp floral taste. Chamomile is less bold, but gives me a nice calm too.

Yerba Mate. I have some at least in the evenings when I work, because it helps give me energy but doesn't give me any of the trials and tribulations that coffee and energy drinks has on my chemical imbalance. I usually buy the Guayaki brand leaves for my steeper, to try to control how much umph I put in it. Sometimes might sprinkle in a little mint leaf.

Raspberry Leaf Tea. It's not a super great taste, but I think I love it mostly because it helps me with cramps and my body appreciates that. I always have some for the monthly, so while it's not like a go to tea for me being like, "I love the taste of this," it ranks high because it's needed and doesn't taste bad.

Other Nesha Picks:

Moringa tea (it's no caffeine and feels good whenever I'm going to write or draw or something and want a nice cup of something). I don't really enjoy it chilled, though. Like, most of these teas, my Texas ass will ice, but this one doesn't taste right to me when it's cooled.

Dandelion tea (also no caffeine, and reminds me of what my brain thinks coffee used to taste like. I can't really have coffee, and when I do, it's super seldom and a small portion). I can have a bit more dandelion tea than I ever could coffee, but I don't drink it everyday.

I just recently started buying Thai tea too, within the past year or so. That's super good, if you like sweet stuff.

Mind you... I buy a lot of varying tea for different reasons, all year round. This is the list of regulars that you'd generally find in my pantry.

@neshatriumphs @shslargue I heard you guys drink tea sometimes and I just got an electric kettle. So if you don’t mind, can recommend some tea I could try?

Nesha Watches/Rewatches Death in Paradise

I feel like a lot of people I know don’t/didn’t/never watched or heard of this show. Idk what the last season I saw was, but I know that I never made time to get back to it some time after it got put onto BritBox. Idek if that still exists, but I have been laying in bed for days, taking handfuls of pills and watching Puppy Dog Pals. I finally actually got up and washed up, and I feel humanish, so I’m gonna rewatch all the seasons I’ve watched and hopefully catch up on the ones that I’ve missed. This is what I intend to do in my free time, in between the killing of myself that will be taking place to pay my bills after I get my car back from the shop. If you see me posting, that don’t mean I am available, so don’t count on me being able to respond to replies, messages, or asks. I probably can’t afford a single off day to catch up with my bills and that will begin as soon as the car shop calls, hopefully later today. 

About this show... I feel like I saw every single British Black person I knew pass through there at some point. It’s a cop show, but they on this island. There’s a white lead who is usually side by side with a Black partner, and they have a Black team doing the investigations. Has very cheesy moments, but ultimately I enjoyed it a lot before, and even whenever they switch cast members, even leads, I am able to get used to most of the replacements. If you can stomach a cop show, it’s good. Probably the most Black people I’ve seen in something from over there, aside from Michaela Coel joints. I usually like the dynamic between the leads, as well. Though, my faves were the originals.

I’ll never get over what the writers did to me with them.

Donna Meagle | Parks and Recreation Wiki | Fandom

Donna Meagle is a character I encountered well into my adulthood, but despite being a background character, y'all know how I get down.

Here's the thing that really blew my mind, even at this point in life and media - she checked several boxes that aren't generally associated with a character like hers, then she just was amazing.

Sometimes, we get to see Black, dark skinned, plus sized women be great and know it and be loved and/or appreciated, but not a lot.

Parks and Rec was one of my "getting a divorce" findings. I hadn't been interested in it and turned it on to drown out stuff and wound up binging the entire first season in one sitting and becoming deeply attached to it.

Donna was a good voice in a hectic time, reminding me to "treat myself," when I honestly was feeling very lay down and die-ish.

She's who I would've wanted to be when I grow up if I hadn't already grown up to be a hot mess.
