BASICS

▸ is your muse tall/short/average? Short, roughly small teenager size at 4′ 11″

▸ are they okay with their height? So long as no one pokes fun. Even though he hides it well, he’s a bit self-conscious over it. ▸ what’s their hair like? Somewhat akin to the color of sand, albeit with more hints of brown and blonde. Very lengthy and a touch messy. ▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? It tends to become a tangled mess if he doesn’t brush it now and then, so it requires occasional maintenance. ▸ does your muse care about their appearance? To an extent, though he’s hardly vain, he’s self-conscious. Primarily, his various scars and stitches are things he tries to hide under his heavy clothes or robes. ▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? For the most part, he remains indifferent. However, in his efforts to separate himself from his misdeeds of the past, people thinking him some manner of monster or criminal could easily get to him.

QUESTIONNAIRE

▸ what are some of your muse’s bad habits? Though he’s come a long way from it, he has some small degree of masochism to him, subtly enjoying parts of his own physical distress based on situation. He hardly means it, but he also has a touch of an ego when it comes to his work and studies. Often too, he tends to overthink or hesitate with difficult decisions or situations, or on the flip side, he can make brash decisions or say harsh things that seem sudden and out-of-character for him. Most of all, he’s very quick to belittle himself as much as he’s proud of his work, a very confusing range of self-worth at times, even typically quick to blame himself for things he cannot help. ▸ has your muse lost anyone close to them? how has it affected them? 

Due to being reluctant to forge bonds to begin with, only one has this misfortune. An old friend and former partner, a Witchmon named Karla. After the two had fallen into service alongside Daemon decades back, a plan in forging altered X-Antibodies required sacrifice. This, just so happened to be Karla following her work to create them, the sharpened end of a staff through her back. In truth, it helped to free Karla from Daemon’s bindings, his essence pulled from her core so she wouldn’t be doomed to his service any longer, but Wallace never ceases to feel guilt for it. More than anything, he wishes and hopes they understand why he did it, even if they don’t forgive him.

▸ what are some fond memories your muse has? His fondest memories he tells of were with Karla at times. Following her sealing away the essence of Beelzemon within him, he felt the weight of countless years taken from his shoulders. On the island where he lived with her for many years, he actually felt relaxed and at peace with the various denizens there at her side. Almost as if he belonged, and he could move on. ▸ is it easy for your muse to kill? For the most part, though he almost certainly never draws pleasure from it anymore. Typically, he will only do so if his attacker or offender is persistent and unwilling to back down.

▸ what’s it like when your muse breaks down? 

In the event of an emotional breakdown, depression is the most likely result. He is quick to distance himself and shut himself off from others. He’ll speak even less than he normally would, will isolate himself, and often intentionally starve and deprive himself of sleep. In the rare instance of actually confiding in another, his seek of comfort will be silent, likely burying his face into a shoulder, back, or chest and just sitting there.

▸ is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life? While possible, it is highly unlikely and difficult.

▸ what’s your muse like when they’re in love? Wallace is likely to be a bit overly-devoted to anyone he’s so fond of. His already eloquent way of speaking will become somehow more verbose at times. He’ll often keep his voice low and soft to help add to an atmosphere of safety and peace, and he will be revealed to be something of an affectionate soul. Just occasional, unannounced embraces from behind or the side, or even fingers laced together in joined hands. When bolder, cupping the cheek or running his fingers through someone’s hair is also likely. Due to his size as well compared to most he might love, finding him taking space in one’s lap is also not out of the question. He will all the same be impossibly loyal, tender, and far more open than typically would be found of him.

I already have xkit for the useful reblog quick option. So for someone who isn't super bright with this kind of thing how do get the colour option to work?

I'd appreciate any help. My Dad had to make me leave a relatives house very quickly today, when they said: "Black people are racist too, it's not just the whites and it's basically the same thing..." Like my Dad knew how I was going to react to that, and he knew it'd turn into a fight with that relative...

I need my social justice! I'm on Chrome if that helps. Like please use basics! Like did genuinely try a lot of different things to get that image to "work".

As I wiped the rest of my tears away and walked upstairs to the upper part of The Day Court Palace, I felt some relief inside me. Helion had told me everything. I couldn’t believe he was willing to help me. Me, of all faes. He had told me exactly where the relic was and how to get it. I’d tried asking him about the location of the other relics, but he didn’t knew and since Amarantha had burned down The Grand Library, we had no more leads. Great job, mom. Helion had also sworn not to tell Rhysand my true identity. He had warned me, though. He’d told me to be careful if I ever planned on telling Rhysand the truth. Then I had asked him why I would do such thing. He smiled and told me: “Because it won’t end good if you don’t”. So now I was looking for Rhysand to tell him where exactly the relic was and get this over as fast as we could. I knocked on the door one of the maids had told me Rhysand was and Rhysand opened it not long after.

“So? Where is it?”, he asked as he saw me.

For some reason his cold greeting made me angry.

“Aren’t you going to invite me in?”, I asked him.

He hesitated for a second and then opened the door slightly more so I could enter. The room was as beautiful as day itself. A large bed was in it, along with a table, chairs, and comfortable looking couches. Everything was gold themed. I walked to the window, looking out to the beautiful city outside.

“You let me alone with him to get information”, I stated.

Rhysand closed the door and walked towards me.

“You seemed very interested in him and he obviously was, so whats the problem in leaving you two alone? You two might as well go get it on”.

I was so offended and angry by what he had just said I wanted to kick him so hard he would cry.

“Excuse me?”, I said, turning to him. “Come on, I saw you two flirting since we arrived”.

Was he serious? Was he accusing me of being… loose or something like that? Not that I cared what he thought of me, but it was hurtful nonetheless. Specially when Helion and I hadn’t even kissed.

“You know nothing”, I hissed. “Oh but I do”, he said to me angrily. “You’ve been hiding something this whole time. Do you think I don’t know that?”.

I hold his gaze for a few second and then walked towards the exit.

“I’m sorry”, he said when I grabbed the door handle.

I turned around then.

“The truth is I haven’t slept for a while now and it’s beginning to affect me more than it should”, he said.

He wasn’t angry at me for flirting with Helion. He was angry he couldn’t do that with the only person he wanted to do that with. He was angry he was alone. He was angry his mate was dead. He couldn’t sleep because his mate wasn’t by his side. My heart hurt for him. I walked towards him and took his hand in mine.

“We’ll bring her back, Rhysand”.

He didn’t say anything. He just let out a breath and looked at me.

“It’s been hard… without her I—”, he stopped talking. “I don’t know why I’m even telling you this”.

I put my hand in his arm and made soothing motions.

“It’s okay”, I whispered.

He closed his eyes. He looked so tired. He needed to rest, that we both knew, but I knew he wouldn’t. He wouldn’t rest until Feyre was at his side again. The thing is, having him tired was not good if we were to go on looking for the rest of the relics. So I took a deep breath and, before I could change my mind, said:

“Forgive me for this, Rhysand”.

Then I whispered in his mind: “Dormi”. He didn’t have a chance to react. My magic had already put him to sleep. At least I’d learned something useful from Amarantha. I caught Rhysand’s body with mine, but he was all muscle, so we both ended up on the floor. His sleeping body on top of mine. For a second I didn’t move. His body on top of mine, it felt… right. This close to him I could feel his muscular complexion. I could see his tanned skin. I could marble at his blue-black hair. I could see where his tattoos began. I wondered what his tattoos fully looked like. The scent of him was so strong in my nostrils I felt like drowning.

He’s literally asleep on top of you, a voice in my head said.

I moved Rhysand’s body out of the way and stood up quickly. I looked at him sprawled on the floor and almost laughed.

“Please don’t kill me in the morning”, I told his unconscious body.

I woke up the moment I felt a hand on my shoulder. I was in full alert as I stared at Rhysand. He handed me a cup of what looked like tea. After putting Rhysand to bed the night before, the magic I’d used to make him sleep had drained me more than it should have. I’d fallen asleep in one of the couches in his room. I took the tea from him and seated correctly. Rhysand sat next to me as I drank it.

“What you did to me…”, he started.

I quickly stopped drinking the tea.

“Rhysand, I’m so sorry, I just—”, he interrupted me. “Thank you”, he said simply. “I needed that”.

Yes, he really needed to rest, that was out of question. I studied his face. He still looked tired, but not as much as the day before, so I guess that was an improvement. I smiled at him.

“If it makes you feel any better”, I told him “Helion seemed more interested in having you alone with him than me”.

Rhysand smiled.

“Oh believe me, he would have both of us if he could”, he said.

I laughed at that and everything was good between us.

Reaction is a neutral thing and just a thing one does in one sense. In another sense I use it to say someone is too heavily influenced or affected by an action occurring. To feel upset about something is a reaction (in the neutral sense of the word) that means something is happening that should not be and so the thing seeming to be happening is not to be and is an illusion of some kind. "That is really okay that you're saying that," the devil said. I use the word reaction in a non-neutral sense to talk about being too heavily affected by something and letting something be too much of an impact on one's behavior. Last night I was thinking things about my sister and they turned out to be untrue. She was making a speech and I thought she was too much avoiding instances where she was vulnerable or taking a misstep somehow. But that was not her tone at all when I saw her say the speech in front of me. The person is willing to talk about herself facing something she considers challenging. I still feel her speech avoided talking about a challenge but the person does not seem really avoidant actually. I was thinking these things from afar as Karla was in her bedroom. But when she stood right in front of me something else was apparent. I was getting irritated as I thought about her being avoidant, but she really was not that. So there now is more experience where feeling irritated or upset is in response to an illusion and is really not to be.
