Quote
Some of the children have never heard the name of Her Majesty, nor such names as Wellington, Nelson, Buonaparte. But it to be especially remarked, that among all those who had never heard such names as St Paul, Moses, Solomon, etc. there was a general knowledge of the character and course of life of Dick Turpin, the highwayman, and more particularly of Jack Shepherd, the robber and prison-breaker.

One Piece Birthdays: Honorable Mentions
One Piece has hundreds of characters, and over the past year I’ve celebrated the birthdays of only about a few hundred or so of them. So I’d like to take the time to mention every One Piece character without a birthday. Some don’t have birthdays because they’ve debuted too recently, some have no birthdays because they have been forgotten. Some have no birthdays because we haven’t gotten to that yet, even though they’ve existed for a long time and we remember them. To start off with, I will mention every character that exists within the canon that have names. Some you’ll remember. Some you won’t recognize, but if I showed you a picture of them you’d be like “Oh yeah that guy”. And then some of them you won’t have any recollection of, and I can’t blame you for it. Today, we will honor your memories, and hope that one day, Eiichiro Oda gives you a birthday.

I used the names that they are given on the wiki, as opposed to their Official English names, if they even have one. I did this so that you can simply search their names on the One Piece Wiki and learn about them, if any interest you. However, a couple of them are so obscure that they don’t even have their own pages, in which case you will only be able to fine them here.
Next we will honor all non-canon characters. These characters appeared in filler, movies, specials, OVAs, one-shots, video games, or any other material that was officially made but not part of the manga. These characters are gaurunteed to never get a birthday, and that is a curse they bear. Now some non-canon characters, such as Gion and Tokikake, debut in non-canon and then later appear in canon, making them canon characters, and thus giving them a chance to have a birthday. However, this is such a rare case, that I wouldn’t count on it, especially for non-canon characters that debuted years ago.

Lastly, I want to honor all characters, canon and non-canon, with no names. The majority of these characters are just extras that only appeared in one panel or shot. But there’s a couple that are actually memorable, such as that one guy that was in Spandine’s group, or the masked CP-0 members. Some of these people can actually get names eventually. For example, Don Quixote Mjosgard was a nameless character for the longest time, until in the Reverie he became important and was given a name. I cannot list these nameless characters, as they have no names, but I do still want to honor them, and hope that one day they will be given names and have birthdays.

Xbox Game Pass: We Happy Few, Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor, The LEGO Movie Videogame, And More
Hi, Xbox Game Pass friends! Don’t want to freak you out, but we turned around today and suddenly there were even more games sitting on our desk. We’re going to need a bigger desk
and you’re going to need some free time, because there’s so many games on the way.
We’re dropping four awesome games in the next two weeks, and you can sign up to get your first month for just $1, so if your crew isn’t already on the Xbox Game Pass hype train, tell them to get on that ASAP.
Now let’s get to some details on our latest games:
We Happy Few (January 17) – Xbox One X Enhanced
A first-person action game set in a retro-futuristic alternate 1960s England. Conformity is key, and a drug called Joy makes everyone’s problems go away – unless, of course, you’re a rotten Downer. Play as a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial in the city of Wellington Wells. You’ll have to fight or blend in with the drug-addled inhabitants, most of whom don’t take kindly to people who won’t abide by their not-so-normal rules.
The LEGO Movie Videogame (January 17) The LEGO Movie Videogame puts players in the role of Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Based on the humorous and action-packed events from the film, players guide him as he is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.  With unexpected moments and twists at every level, gamers will build their way through a uniquely LEGO adventure on their ultimate mission to bring creativity to their LEGO world.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (January 24)
Slain at the Black Gate along with your friends, family, and sworn brothers, the ancient Elven Wraith, Celebrimbor, offered you a chance for revenge. Now you must battle powerful Warchiefs who will gloat over past victories and bear grudges – and scars – from past defeats. Find unlikely allies, battle ferocious creatures, and experience a Middle-earth adventure like no other. Your story will grow and become uniquely your own after each battle, until you stand before the ultimate architect of your downfall – the Black Hand of Sauron himself.
Saints Row: The Third (January 24)
The open world, crazy mayhem, action adventure series returns as you now find yourself trying to protect the Third Street Saints brand name (and its turf). Enter the Syndicate, a global criminal empire who doesn’t take kindly to someone else grabbing all the headlines and attention. Now they expect the Saints to pay tribute and fall in line; that ain’t gonna happen. Take back Steelport – and the Saints’ reputation — by any means necessary.
And, don’t forget that we also dropped Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 last week.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (January 10)
Take the epic battle to all new heights in 3v3 matches featuring fan-favorite characters from the Marvel and Capcom Universes. This definitive version includes all DLC and modes that made the original a staple in the fighting game genre.
You better get your game on with these gems before we hit you with our next game drop!  Crackdown 3 hits Xbox Game Pass on the day and date of its worldwide release on February 15, plus a bunch more are coming atcha in February and beyond.
Aaaaannnddd finally, ICYMI, the Design Innovate Communicate Entertain (D.I.C.E) Awards nominations include two Xbox Game Pass games: Forza Horizon 4 was nominated for Best Racing Game, and Sea of Thieves was nominated for Online Game of the Year. Congratulations to all D.I.C.E Award nominees, and fire up that console stat to experience Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves, if you haven’t already.

Description: Napoleon.- Battle of Waterloo.- Walsh (Edward, physician and medical officer, artist, 1756-1832) "La Belle Alliance"; The Island of St Helena; Dieppe Harbour; Naval base with windmill and ships in ordinary in the distance, possibly Great Yarmouth, pen and brown ink, point of the brush and watercolour, on wove paper mounted onto black card supports with ruled line in white, each approx. 110 x 175 mm. (4 1/4 x 6 7/8 in), some light browning and minor surface dirt, unframed, circa 1807-1815; together with Joseph Constantine Stadler's 'La Belle Alliance' featuring an illustration after the watercolour by Walsh, from Ackermann's 'Repository of Arts', etching and aquatint with hand-colouring, letterpress descriptive text by Walsh below, sheet 440 x 300 mm. (17 1/4 x 11 3/4 in), on brown paper support, some minor handling creases, spotting and light browning, unframed, Ackermann August 23, 1815 (5). Literature: ("La Belle Alliance" aquatint) Abbey Life, no. 212, item 533. ⁂ Fine unrecorded watercolours documenting the Napoleonic Wars, one "executed on the spot" illustrating the inn rendered famous by the meeting of the two great commanders, Prince BlĂŒcher and the Duke of Wellington, at the close of engagement, with the legs of the recently buried still visible. Walsh, a merchant's son, was born in Waterford, Ireland in 1756. He studied medicine at Glasgow and Edinburgh before entering the military, where he had his hand shattered by an explosion while serving under Nelson during the British attack on Copenhagen in 1801. He was afterwards sent with the 49th regiment to Canada, where he spent some years studying Native American life (circa 1803-1806). He collected a vast amount of information for a statistical history of Canada, but never published the work. The Library of Congress hold an original watercolour by Walsh from this period, where he illustrates Queenston, Upper Canada on the Niagara [see: LOC DRWG/US - Walsh, no. 1 (A size)]; this watercolour, like "La Belle Alliance" in the present lot, was illustrated as an aquatint in Ackermann's 'Repository'. The William L. Clements Library, Michigan, also hold 17 further watercolours by Walsh from his time in Upper Canada (see records 4535-4551). Following his time in North America, he returned to Europe, serving in the Peninsular War as well as at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. It was during this period that the present watercolours would have been executed. Walsh's watercolour of "La Belle Alliance" is described in Stadler's aquatint as having been "Taken on the Spot, June 25th", and was quickly disseminated by Ackermann in under a month. 'La Belle Alliance is represented as it appeared about a week after the battle [...] The out-offices in the rear were blown up by the bursting of a shell, and many English were killed and wounded there [...] The arable ground round about is thickly covered with graves of men and horses.' [Letterpress text by Walsh, printed alongside Stadler's aquatint, August 23rd, 1815]. We have been unable to trace any original drawings by Walsh offered at auction.

Neuseeland Hostels
The Attic, Auckland
Zentral.
Bed and Breakfast, Kaitaia
The Mouse Trap, Paihia
The Crash Palace, Rotorua
Ansonsten top.
The Wild Zebra, Wellington
The Warry Restaurant and Bar, Westport
Brot kaufen.
Big Foot Hostel, Fox Glacier
The Black Sheep, Queenstown
Top 10 Holiday Park Kaikoura, Kaikoura
Top 10 Holiday Park Wellington, Wellington
YHA New Plymouth

Rent a motorhome in New Zealand
According to the saying "All four seasons a day", you can experience all weather conditions of the four seasons in one day. However, since every season also has its charm in New Zealand, you have to think carefully about what you want to do before you travel. Left-hand traffic In New Zealand, as in Australia, there is left-hand traffic. The steering wheel is therefore on the right side and it is also overhauled on the right side. If you have never turned left before, you should approach slowly. If possible, always contact the landlord if repairs are necessary. Avoid any low-cost rental companies that you won't find anywhere in tour operator catalogs. The worn vehicles of the well-known rental companies are still driven there until they collapse completely. Lack of maintenance (brakes, steering) and breakdowns are dangerous and annoying.
Secure return flights to Auckland
Specials are automatically taken into account so that you always see the cheapest price. Additional services and extras can be added directly in the second step of the booking. When comparing prices, you shouldn't lose sight of the quality of the vehicle. A strikingly cheap offer can mean that it is a very old vehicle. If you want the cheapest campervan, you may get the worst.
How much does a cigarette packet cost?

dig a little deeper than usual, there is no cheap wine (or even one from Tetrapaks). Meat is surprisingly inexpensive, but eggs and dairy products are very expensive (due to the lack of state subsidies). A one-way bus ticket costs around

Hawke's Bay and the Central Volcanic Plateau can be reached from the capital just as easily as from Auckland.
The cable car is around 610 m long and connects the Kelburn suburb with the Lambton Quay shopping street .
There is even a filter for the age of the vehicle.
But there are a few places where you can camp wildly.
A deposit is always required for RVs and campers in New Zealand. We recommend booking the Value Pack, as this significantly reduces the amount of the deposit to be deposited. New Zealand also has great campsites outside of the Northland and Auckland regions.
This is where your opinion campervan hire NZ comes in. X
How cold is it in New Zealand in winter?
div >
The warmest months are January and February. The average temperature in Auckland in the north is 20 ° C, in Wellington at 16 ° C and in Dunedin in the south of the South Island at 15 ° C. It gets coldest in July. The thermometer then shows an average of 11 ° C in Auckland, 8 ° C in Wellington and 6 ° C in Dunedin.
Here a camper makes it easy to explore the area on your own and stop at one of the many campsites. Enjoy taking the road from the marble mountain, Takaka Hills, which winds along the valley to reach the beautiful and quiet Golden Bay, or travel inland around the Nelson Lakes District and its National Park to explore. From Wellington you can travel north to explore the North Island.

So a few weeks ago, I met this girl I had been chatting to for roughly two months. We matched on Hinge, chatted on there for awhile, and then moved over to messenger and facetime. We both enjoyed talking to each other, so she suggested that we meet up.I should also mention that she is a single mother who has a 10 year old son. She's 28, lives in a house with one other flatmate, and has her son around every second week. Her job is steady and she generally has her life together. I wasn't sure what to think at first when she told me she had a kid, but I was enjoying our chats. She seemed genuine, attractive, and was my type. So I kinda looked past that and also don't mind children. I'm 24, still live at home (not a leech), and at the time had no job due to covid (now currently employed)She also lived in a different city on another island. I live in the top of the south island (Nelson) in New Zealand and she lives in the bottom of the north island (Wellington). So distance was already an issue. I was hesitant at first, but enjoyed talking to her, so I thought why not right? We decided to split the flight costs and I was set to fly up to see her for 4 days.Leading up to the meeting I was quite nervous, like really nervous. I had never done anything like this before and it was something completely out of my comfort zone. I thought to myself that if I dont do this, then I'd regret it later on.So the day comes, I'm nervous as hell, she picks me up from the airport (no hug or anything, was kinda rushed) I get in the car and we start chatting. Things were kinda awkward at first, but I feel that's normal. Soon after, we grabbed some food at a local café and funnily enough met her DAD on the street, who she never sees, which I thought was so weird. Anyway, she then had an eyebrow appointment booked for twelve o'clock that day, as her previous booking got canceled, so the only day that they could do it was the day I arrived! I thought that was hilarious! I sat in the car as she had to put Vaseline over her eyebrows and then cover them with gladwrap before her appointment. She was getting her eyebrows tattooed, must be a lady thing surely.During her appointment, I went for a walk down the street to kill time. I remembered that she was wanting a book called 'Saipens' that she couldn't find in the book store, so I saw it, thought of her, and bought it.Once she was done, we went bowling. It was raining the whole time I was there, so all of the outdoor activities we had planned went out the window. It was fun though and sorta broke the ice a little. We then went back to hers, I gave her the book (which she thought was cute of me to do) and then we chilled and chatted for a bit until I went back to my hotel for the night. I had booked accommodation for the first night as we felt me staying at hers would be a tad full on to start with.I was quite anxious that whole first day, but figured I would calm down and loosen up after the initial meet. The next morning, I still felt extremely anxious and overwhelmed, like a constant anxious feeling. I never normally felt like that so it was strange. Perhaps it was because I was out of my comfort zone, who knows. She text me in the morning and asked what I would like to do for the day. I remember her mentioning a cool craft brewery in our previous conversations, so I suggested we go there as it was raining and windy. She picked me up, we arrived, had a few drinks and a fairly decent chat, but I definitely wasn't myself the whole time. It stopped raining, so we thought a nice walk would freshen things up afterwards. As we drove back to hers, it started raining again! So we came up with a plan to make dinner at hers, buy some alcohol, and have a few drinks. We got back to her house, made and ate dinner, and starting drinking. I still felt really anxious, so it was affecting me big time. We played a few card games and drinking games but things still felt a tad awkward that night between us, we both were indecisive in what we should do. I was trying so hard not to show my anxious energy, it was affecting everything, I couldn't even eat at times. I knew she was picking up on it, but she didn't say anything.I went outside for a breather and came back inside to her watching YouTube videos on the TV. I sat down beside her and got cozy. The drink was certainly helping my anxiety and I soon began to loosen up. We were watching X Factor auditions, videos we found funny, music videos etc. I can't remember much of that night as we drank a lot, but we seemed to be having a more engaging and less forced conversation, obviously due to the alcohol, lower inhibitions and me having zero anxiety.I started to become myself, and at one point, started dancing in front of her! She was playing all these classic pop songs and I was busting moves making her laugh her ass off, she even filmed it. Afterwards we spent all night singing karaoke, dancing together, listening and watching YouTube. It was good fun.Things then got frisky, we started making out on the coach, she was grinding on me, I was grinding on her. It was getting steamy. Next thing you know we are in her bed getting it on. We had non-penetrative sex. Kissed, cuddled, I ate her out, played with her nipples, fingered her etc. until she came. I got nothing in return but figured it was because she was quite drunk. She then told me afterwards that I turn her on so much and that when I was dancing, she had to change her panties during my performance because she was so wet. I was shocked! I should also mention that I was a virgin prior to meeting her and had never done anything like that to a girl, so it was a first for me. We then cuddled and went to sleep. The morning after was the worst though. I was EXTREMELY hungover and my anxiety was through the roof! Things only got worse from here. We ended up staying in bed for hours both quite hungover. Things escalated again while in bed, and I made her cum again literally just with my fingers, she was easily stimulated, which made it easy for me. Then, she whispered in my ear and told me "I want you inside me" my anxiety spiked at this point as I was still a virgin, so I had no experience with PIV. The anxiety also affected my erection, so I also wasn't fully hard. FYI I had condoms, but she told me she had an IUD, I trusted her and was in the heat of the moment. She went on top and I managed to stick it in, but it kept slipping out and I was getting frustrated. We gave up in the end and I just fingered her to an orgasm. She seemed satisfied and didn't seem to worry about my slippage/erection problems. Again though, nothing in return? Maybe she thought I had cum? Surely a girl knows when a guy has cum. This happened on the last night as well, I did the same. Made her cum by fingering her, then decided I'd give penetration another go, but in the missionary position. Again it was so awkward. Obviously it was the lack of experience, but I couldn't get the rhythm and positioning right. I did manage to get a good rhythm going at one point, in which she almost came, but I slipped out at the last second and she was disappointed, understandable! I finished her off with foreplay and she was happy. She then asked "did you cum"? I said no and then nothing. Was it lack of communication on my part? Or was she just selfish? In fairness though, I probably should have told her that I was a virgin, which I regret now. I didn't want to scare her away by telling her, but now I realise how stupid that is.That whole day was honestly so bad, constantly anxious, tired, hungover. The day was pretty unproductive. We went for a walk which was cool, but I just felt horrible during it. I was tired after the walk, so I had a nap while she made dinner. I couldn't even eat dinner I was so anxious. We still managed to chat and have a few laughs, but I was so uneasy and definitely was not in the right frame of mind. We decided after to watch a movie in bed, A Star Is Born! It was good. Although she kept asking me the whole time during the flim "Are you okay?" Like five or six times. I think she knew something was up, even though I was just watching the film.We went to sleep and again, I felt the same the next morning. I honestly just wanted to go home at that point due to how anxious I felt. That's not to say I didn't enjoy her company or anything, I just wasn't in the right frame of mind. We had planned to do a bike ride around the coast later that day. She had another appointment (lazer therapy) and after that, we grabbed some food (which I struggled to eat) She asked me a few times not to stress and kept asking me if I was okay throughout the day, so it was obvious she sensed it. We then went for our bike ride around the coast, which was actually quite nice, as it was a sunny day! My flight was at night, so afterwards we just chatted at hers until I had to go.We chatted back and forth about certain things, she was telling me about her past relationships etc. I was telling her about my job situation etc. She even mentioned why I didn't orgasm, and that she felt bad during sex and if there was something she didn't do. I told her that I wasn't in the right mindset and that it wasn't her at all, I probably should have mentioned my virginity at that point, but ah well. I also mentioned how losing my job caused a lot of my anxiety etc. I then asked her if she saw this going anywhere romantically and she told me that while it was quite awkward at times, she felt that was only normal, that long distance wouldn't work, and it was up to me if I wanted to continue messaging her or not. Things could fizzle out, or things could take off she said. It wasn't really a clear answer. She dropped me off at the airport, told me to message her and I gave her a goodbye kiss.Later that night she messaged me "Hope you're feeling less anxious now, you should definitely try some meditation! Night x"I responded the next morning telling her that I felt a lot better. We conversed back and forth for awhile and she then said "Talk soon, Night :)" I said goodnight, and we didn't message for about five days. I was expecting her to message me, but nothing. I thought hard about it and sent her a text telling her that it wasn't going to work out and that we should go our separate ways. She responded politely telling me that she was waiting for me to message her and told me that it was all cool. She then said thanks for coming to meet me and hoped that she didn't make me feel too uncomfortable and wished me luck with my job search. I left it there and didn't message her after that. After a few days I felt ending it like that was a tad abrupt. I didn't fully express how I felt about it all, and it was bothering me. At the time I thought it was the right thing to do, but I thought about it more and more and realized that I did quite like her and enjoyed her company, it was me that was the problem.I messaged her again later that week and told her that what I said wasn't entirely true. I told her that I liked her and would like to see her again at some point. I said to her that I definitely wasn't in the right frame of mind during my time there, it was me putting unnecessary pressure on myself. If she didn't reciprocate then that was fine, I just wanted to let her know. She responded soon after, and told me that she was taken a little by surprise from my last message. She also liked that I had messaged her again to get my feelings across. The four days were quite difficult for her she said, as my anxious energy could definitely be sensed, and at times it made her feel so horrible, because she didn't know what to do or say.She believed that I wasn't in the right frame of mind during my time there, but for the most part she did enjoy my company, she just had hoped that I would have loosened up a bit. She also agreed to meeting again, and felt it was only fair, as I wasn't 100% myself last time. If we were to meet again, she wants me to be 100% comfortable with who I am first, as she doesn't want me to go through what I felt last time. She thought it was bold of me to jump on a plane, and it was great that I had reflected and acknowledged my experience, which apparently a lot of guys shy away from. She told me that when I was ready to talk again, we could perhaps arrange something, but for now I should just work on being myself. You don't ever have to feel like you should be someone you're not she said. What do you guys think? Should I continue this?Sorry for the long story, I had to get that off my chest. via /r/dating_advice

All the Canadian Brands Meghan Markle Wore This Year
Well before she officially became a Duchess and her every sartorial move was observed with eagle eyes, Meghan Markle’s penchant for Canadian designers was widely known. Makes sense, considering she spent six years not just in Toronto but in the company of Jessica Mulroney, one of the country’s foremost stylists (and a champion of its local designers.) Markle has been spotted more than once in Club Monaco separates, Mackage and Sentaler coats, and dainty pieces of Birks jewellery. In fact, it was a Toronto-based brand, Line the Label, that the Duchess-to-be chose for one of the biggest days of her personal life—the day she and Prince Harry announced their engagement. Read on for a recap of all the Canadian brands Markle wore this year alone.
Soia & Kyo For one of her last official engagements of 2018, Markle wore a floral cap-sleeved dress by Los Angeles-based Brock Collection, under a grey wool coat by Quebec company Soia & Kyo. It’s not the first time she’s worn a piece by this outerwear maker—she’s been photographed in at least two other styles from the brand in the past.

Aritzia Markle seems to own multiple pieces by this Canadian retailer: the burgundy Wilfred dress she wore to the Invictus Games in Toronto last year, the olive Babaton trench she wore while on royal tour in Australia, and most recently, a pale pink cashmere Wilfred coat that has since—obviously—sold out.

The Duchess of Sussex yesterday attended a meeting with The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) at King’s College London. Her Royal Highness joined university leaders, academics and international scholarship students as they discussed the role of higher education in addressing issues such as human trafficking, modern slavery, gender equality, peace and reconciliation, and climate change. In a speech during the Royal Visit to Fiji in October, The Duchess announced two ACU Gender Grants for the University of the South Pacific and Fiji National University, to fund new learning initiatives aimed at empowering female university staff and promoting gender equality.

Smythe Markle’s not the only famous face that loves this brand—Nicole Kidman, Viola Davis and Julia Roberts are a few of its other A-list fans. This year alone, Markle has worn the Toronto label, known for its impeccably tailored blazers and coats, three times: an eye-catching cobalt blue coat at the launch of the ‘Together’ cookbook, for which she wrote the foreword; a long taupe coat for an official appearance in London with Prince Harry; and a double-breasted grey coat for Anzac Day.

Jason Wu Another designer Markle wore multiple times this year is Jason Wu, a New York-based designer who grew up in Vancouver. She was the first person to wear a look from his Spring 2019 collection before it even hit the runway, while out with Prince Harry in London at an official gala. She also wore two Jason Wu dresses while on royal tour—one forest green sheath in Fiji and a black ruched halterneck dress in Sydney.

Club Monaco Last month, Markle wore a burgundy dress and coat from Club Monaco—one of her favourite brands—for an official visit with the survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire in London. It’s far from her first outing in the affordable brand—she wore a pleated dress from the retailer to attend a wedding with Prince Harry this past August, a sleek LBD with gold button detailing for an official appearance at a Melbourne beach while on royal tour, and a grey trench while in Wellington, New Zealand.

House of Nonie This Calgary label specialising in sleek, minimalist pieces counts both Markle and Jessica Mulroney as fans (no surprise there). For a visit to the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition in London this past July, the Duchess chose a blush pink sleeveless trench dress from the brand’s Spring 2018 collection.

Mackage Montreal-based brand Mackage knows a thing or two about the so-called ‘Markle Effect’. Within an hour of the Duchess being photographed in a beige coat by the brand while on an official visit to Belfast, the piece was sold out. Eagle-eyed Markle followers will recall she wore a navy double-breasted coat by the brand for her first official engagement as a royal-to-be last winter, and a burgundy leather jacket to the Invictus Games in Toronto last summer, when the couple made their public debut.

Erdem For her first official behind-closed-doors Christmas with the royal family as Duchess of Sussex, Markle chose to do something Kate Middleton has long been applauded for: she re-wore something. The outfit Markle gave a second spin to is a ruffled dress by Montreal-born designer Erdem Moralioglu, who is now based in London. She previously wore the dress for an appearance on The Today Show back in 2016, when she was a star on Suits.
Maison Birks It’s hard to keep track of the number of times Markle has worn pieces by this iconic Canadian jeweller, but considering the regularity with which she appears on their Instagram account, it’s safe to say it’s a lot. A brand she first discovered while living in Toronto as an actress, Birks’ dainty pieces have become a permanent fixture in her jewellery box even as a royal.

Judith & Charles The Duchess wore an elegant tuxedo-style dress by this Canadian retailer (a favourite of Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, by the by) to a viewing of the acclaimed musical Hamilton in London this summer.

Greta Constantine Mackage wasn’t the only Canadian brand Markle donned for the aforementioned appearance in Belfast. She also wore a flouncy green skirt by Toronto-based label Greta Constantine, a brand she has worn in the past as well.
