While I'm discussing Renegade Nell and it's actors. Alice Kremelberg, Frank Dillane and Jake Dunn need to be in more shows/movies. Very few shows can turn my mind on a character as well as these three. You start out hating Thomas and annoyed by Charles and indifferent to Sofia and half way through the season, everything has flipped! I end up loving Charles and wanted to hug Thomas and pissed off at Sofia. Insane talent! The only disappointing thing is that after humanizing Thomas, they didn't seem to know what to do with him. He hardly speaks again in the second half. I keep thinking about how interesting season 2 could have been.

What do you think about Jake Dunn

I don’t think about Jake Dunn much since I haven’t seen any of his work or follow him on social media. All I know is that he’s an actor who appeared in Renegade Nell and sometimes hangs out with Nicola and her group.

But I think you may be asking me about him regarding his connection with Nicola, and I don’t have strong feelings about it. Do I think they’re dating? I have no idea?

Do I think they’re friends? Yes, I believe they are friends who hang out together.

It’s strange how people often assume that any interaction between a celebrity and someone of the opposite sex must mean they’re dating. It’s as if people can’t just be friends with someone of the opposite sex. This kind of speculation frustrates me, similar to how people were convinced that Luke Thompson and Harriet Caines were dating just because they were seen together. People should be allowed to hang out with a friend without it being interpreted as a romantic relationship.

I can understand why people speculate this way though - it’s partly due to media sensationalism, cultural norms, and public curiosity. The media tends to exaggerate relationships to attract attention, and people often find celebrity romantic stories more intriguing. Then add in societal norms linking interactions between opposite sexes with romance, it fuels these assumptions.

Overall, I don’t put much stock into the rumours about Jake and Nicola. I believe they’re just friends and that people are reading too much into their interactions. It’s similar to the situation with Luke and Harriet - seeing them together made me more inclined to think they weren’t romantically involved, especially since Luke prefers to keep his private life out of the spotlight. The same logic applies to Nicola - if people are speculating about her and Jake, it only makes me think they probably aren’t together. But who knows, I don't know any of these people.
