I am. SO very close to finishing the introductory slides, but realized I had to fix two wee errors in this clusterfuck reference. Just like the last times, there's a written explanation under the cut qvq
Origin
Nu
[ Atum is fashioned by his parent Nu, but later separates into Amun and Ra ]
First Generation
Amun, first child of Nu and half of Atum
Mut, second child of Nu and Amun's wife
Ra & Apep, twins, third and fourth children of Nu (and, for Ra, half of Amun)
Ptah, fifth child of Nu
Khnum, sixth child of Nu
Thoth, seventh child of Nu
Neith, eigth child of Nu
[ Ma'at and Nehebkau are created by Ra's fire and Apep's blood respectively before the start of the second generation ]
Second Generation
Khonsu, son of Amun and Mut
Tefnut & Shu, twins, second and third child of Ra
Shezmu, born of Apep's blood
Ahti, born of Apep's spit
Babi-Astennu, born of Apep's seed
Hathor-Sekhmet, fourth child of Ra
Heqet, created by Khnum
Hapi & Satet, twins, fifth and sixth children of Ra, Satet is Khnum's wife
Bast, seventh child of Ra
Montu, eigth child of Ra
Third Generation
Anhur, ninth child of Ra
Ammit, born of Apep's bile
Geb, first child of Tefnut and Shu
Nut, second child of Tefnut and Shu, and wife of Geb
Mafdet, adopted by Ra (10th child)
Reshep, foreign god married to Qetesh
Anat & Astarte, twins, foreign goddesses adopted by Ra (11th and 12th children), both married to Set
Mehit, foreign goddess married to Anhur
Qetesh, goddess adopted by Ra (13th child), wife of Reshep
Nefertem, first child of Sekhmet and Ptah's relations
Maahes, second child of Sekhmet and Ptah's relations
Serket, first child of Neith and Khnum
Sobek, second child of Neith and Khnum
Fourth Generation
Min, child of Reshep and Qetesh
Anuket, child of Satet and Khnum
Osiris, first child of Geb and Nut
Horus-Ur, second child of Geb and Nut
Set, third child of Geb and Nut
Isis, fourth child of Geb and Nut
Nephthys, fifth child of Geb and Nut
[ Before the start of the fifth generation; Heka is created by Ma'at and Thoth, Khepri is created by Ra (14th child) and incubated by Thoth, and Hatmehit is created by Abtu the Fish swallowing then spitting out Osiris' penis (which was severed by Set) ]
Fifth Generation
Anubis, child of Osiris and Nephthys' affair
Horus (the Younger), child of Osiris and Isis, and reincarnation of Horus-Ur
Wepwawet, child of Neith and Set's affair
Tutu, child of Neith and a pre-Egyptian settlement hunter
Sixth Generation
Nekhbet & Wadjet, twins, 15th and 16th children of Ra
Kebechet, pupil and unofficially adopted daughter of Anubis
Ahephi, Imsety, Daumutef, & Qebehsenuef, quadruplets, the four sons of Horus and Hathor (via fling with the Elder, marriage with the Younger)
#lore posting#for every time you think this 'wow this is insane'#(which it is you're 10000% correct)#be just as glad as I am I only included the flings that resulted in children. otherwise there would be So Many Red Lines#*points @ Thoth- Isis- and Hathor-Sekhmet in particular*

OC Deep Dive
I was tagged by @forthesanityofstorytellers
So, I do this for my dear Sojan, since I really really try to get back into Blood Night and sort the chaos of short stories etc into book 2 and 3. I hate past me
Tagging @ashen-crest @cljordan-imperium @dreaminggoblin-yells @eternalwritingstudent (psst *whispering Amon*)
What uncommon/common fear do they have?
The biggest fear of Sojan is to face his power hungry father again. (Too bad exactly this happens)
Do they have any pet peeves?
People claiming their gods tell them they are better than others.
What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?
Usually his sword close by, a book, and since he met Lyran always a tub of lube lol
What do they notice first in a person?
The way they hold themselves, mannerism, hands
On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is their pain tolerance?
I would put Sojan on a solid 6, he can take some.
Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?
As long as it is neither a priest of the Five on Wealzarithian territory or his father, he will fight.
Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?
Since Sojan is a lust demon, who live polyamore usually, he grew up with lots of siblings and is actually a middle child. (Third child of six) He would love to have a big family himself, and has one later on.
What animal represents them best?
A wolf, and yes we ignore the his mount is a big wolf.
What is a smell that they dislike?
A certain kind of incense that is usually used for working higher magic
Have they broken any bones?
Multiple ones, comes with the job
How would a stranger likely describe them?
Most people would describe Sojan as a tall, bulky and calm person who gives off some vibes of being friendly and approachable, yet not trying to interfere with people's daily life too much.
Are they a night owl or a morning bird?
More of a morning bird.
What is a flavor they hate and a flavor they love?
He isn't that fond of beer
Do they have any hobbies?
If he isn't out hunting monsters, Sojan likes to lend a helping hand at the kitchen. Cooking helps him relax
Boom, surprise birthday party! How do they react to surprises?
Once he survived the almost heart attack, he will be excited. Especially when it comes to birthday parties.
Do they like to wear jewelry?
He wears some jewelry out of necessity because in his bracelets are magic dampers hidden to hide his demonic heritage and block his magic since he never got the hang of doing more than basic stuff.
Do they have neat or messy handwriting?
It is more some strange neutral one, neithe messy nor flowery.
What are the two emotions they feel the most?
Annoyed (monster hunting brings this with it, and having siblings lol)
Surprised (we blame his sis and Lyran for this )
Do they have a favorite fabric?
He likes the thick woven wool fabrics from the cold North territories, where his mother lives
What kind of accent do they have?
Since he settled down in the hunters guild in the Mid-East he adapted the accent of the people there with the more rumbling R and Ch sounds and the softer G sounds that could easily be mistaken for J sometimes when they speak. Yet he still has the melodic way to speak from his demonic mother tongue that transported over even into the trade language everyone uses.
Blank Copy and Paste Version under the cut

How would you guys spend summer?
Wolf: We are gonna do a LOT this summer! Beaches, Snowy mountains, you name it!
Shark: We are gonna go on a summer adventure!
Webs: Like we're heisting, except we're law-abiding citizens.
Piranha: Can we go to Japan!? They have all the best arcades there!
Snake: I would like to go Egypt. It has the perfect climate for a snake like me. It has a lot of history and sights. They also have a cool snake god Nehebkau.
Webs: They have a lot of gods. 😲 They even have a cool spider god, Neith! The goddess of creation who was a wicked hunter!
Piranha: And they have Slifer the Sky dragon! 😄
Webs: Sounds like someone learned their Egyptian history through a English anime dub of a card game show. 😑

Had ideas for three Spidersonas/OC's:
The first is a DnD inspired Hunter. She was trained as a hunter from a young age, but earned the boon of the goddess Neith after saving her while she was disguised as a young girl (her canon event). That boon includes gloves that can shoot webbing, boots that help her cling to walls, and a spider companion that helps her fight and warns her of danger. Both she and her spider go by she/her. Haven't decided who her arch-nemesis is yet.
The second has a symbiote named Recluse. They're more anti-heroes than heroes, never going out of their way to help someone unless they feel like it. All they really care about is thriving after her mom passed (her canon event). They're arch-rivals to Black Cat, as they just love to f# with her and mess up her heists just to get a rise out of her. Mainly by stealing whatever she had her paws on at the time and later returning it after they've lost interest. Pronouns include she/her, he/him and they/them.
The last one is a man possessed by The Gatekeeper. He takes the form of a half man/half spider monster: with mandibles, spider legs, extra eyes, venom, organic webbing; the works. He's practically omnipresent, appearing in whatever universe there's someone who the Gatekeeper has judged as unworthy of their powers. The only way to get rid of him is proving their worth as a spider (or him killing them).
I'd say he's the most fleshed out of the three because I could use him as an antagonist in my next-gen fic invoving the universe of 2099 (three guesses why he's in that universe, specifically).

Impeccably, one fool left and another came forth to replace. Neith giggled to herself. The island youth were getting dumber and dumber by the century. “Yes sweet summer child…a request.” Neith slinked up to stand, her voice rolling from a purr to sung silk. “…My heart is on a wire, sitting pretty like a bird, but the hunter is out…and the eagle has heard the word…” Neith tapered off, leaning into a slight bow. “Now would be the appropriate time for you to clap, but you’ll be forgiven.” She straightened to circle back and collect her oud. “Have you been properly schooled? Or were you born yesterday?”
Dark brown orbs eyed the other with curiosity, she hadn’t been speaking with Talon but he found the whole display more than entertaining. He had visited Justport that afternoon to embrace some ocean breeze. Never did he expect to come across such an interaction. He didn’t necessarily disagree with her words, but found her delivery more than eccentric. “A request?” He finally questioned, taking one last drag from his cigarette before dropping it onto the concrete and crushing the burn with the heel of his shoe. The other she had been initially speaking to used the opportunity of Talon’s words to make their escape.
