IT HAD BEEN TWO WEEKS SINCE PETER'S IDENTITY WAS REVEALED. Two weeks left of your summer break, tomorrow being the first day of school that you dreaded with each hour that passed by.
As expected, your dad limited your hangouts with Peter, not wanting you to face more trouble than you already ensued before, which, yeah was ultimately understandable, but you both knew he couldn't just deprive you from seeing your boyfriend. He opted to one hour phone calls instead.
You and Peter had broken that rule, going hours on end during the night while your dad slept soundlessly, oblivious to your loophole.
Currently, you were doing just that, chatting on FaceTime, paying no mind to the fact that it was a school night.
You had missed Peter these past few weeks, and you were finally glad you'd be able to see him tomorrow, but there was no doubt chaos would be awaiting you and your friends.
"Did you get a chance to send in your applications?" You questioned after your conversation about things you expected for Christmas died out.
"I literally just finished my MIT one." Peter tells you, the phone screen bright in your face, a stark contrast from the darkness that surrounded you.
You knew the chances were slim with getting into certain colleges, so you all had came up with a plan to apply to the same backup colleges if all goes wrong, or if miraculously none of you were accepted.
"You?" He retorted back.
"I did, few weeks ago." You admit, shuffling into a more comfortable position.
Peter hums out a response. "Could you imagine if we both got in? MJ and Ned too?" The boy wondered, to which you nod in agreement to. That was the plan after all.
"Yeah, but we'd probably have to get scholarships so that we could actually go." You say, a bit doubtful at your chances.
It's not that you didn't have hope, but with everything that's been going on, you knew your chances of getting in decreased, scholarship or not.
"Come on, you got the scores and the grades." Peter reassured you, dismissing your rational words.
You squint at him in scepticism.
"Are you trying to say I'm being too realistic?" You pondered, raising your eyebrow expectingly.
You probably were, but your question wasn't serious, just only teasing.
"No-, well, yeah, maybe." Peter stuttered out his reply carefully.
Peter shrugs as you let out a low chuckle, watching his face relax into relief, realizing the question wasn't to be taken serious.
"That's okay, though." Peter said after two seconds of silence, giving you a small smile.
"It's one of the many things I love about you." Peter confessed, and he could've swore your eyes got brighter at his sentence.
You smile, feeling the heat warm up your face at his disclosure. The boy seemed to always know what to say at any given time, one of the many things you loved about him.
"Really?" You amused, Peter giving you a small nod.
"What are the other things?" You wondered, rubbing your cold feet together in attempt to keep them warm.
Peter pretends to think about it for a second, and you roll your eyes at his stunt.
"Well.." He starts, with a smile plastered on his face.
"I love how brave you are." The boy tells you, looking back at the phone.
You hum, waiting for him to continue.
"You're also super nice to people." Peter jokes, to which you laugh at.
"Yup, I just love being nice." You agreed sarcastically.
"Your humour, which can be...really dark at times." Peter continued, you give him a grateful smile.
"It makes it more funny." You say nonchalantly, giving Peter a cheeky smile, watching the boy shake his head.
"And..." He trailed off.
"You make me really happy." Peter finalized, and your heart just about flutters in your chest.
You never really made it a goal to prioritized Peter's happiness, but you would never neglect it on purpose either. There was just this unspoken agreement that you had to always no matter what, make the most of what you had. There were going to be times and obstacles in your life that you would face, and you hoped in some way Peter would be there with you every step of the way.
You could say just about the same as well. You never had anyone in your life make you feel the way you felt when around Peter. His presence was enough to make you melt into a puddle, and you were glad you had found him.
You were truly thankful for him. If he asked for the world, you would give it to him in a heartbeat.
You open your mouth to express your reciprocation, but something, or someone snoring obnoxiously loud in the background breaks your train of thought.
"What's that noise?" You quizzed with furrowed eyebrows.
"Oh, it's Happy, look." Peter replies with a whisper, panning his phone over to a sleeping Happy in his recliner.
"Gave his room to May so he's sleeping down here." The boy adds informally, and you slowly nod before deciding to change the topic.
Since the unexpected situation at Times Square that happened, you had this nagging thought in the back of your head that always seemed to make a guest appearance when you were alone with your daydreaming.
You wanted to ask Peter for awhile now, but you never had the time, or chance to.
You figured now's a good time more than any.
"I have a..weird question." You start unsurely, your tone lowering with each word.
You didn't know how to ask it, really. It only just being a thought in your head, words jumbled together, not really making sense, but you thought it never the less.
"Does any part of you feel relieved about all of this?" You finally let out, watching your boyfriend's face twist in confusion at the lack of context you provided.
"What do you mean?" He questioned.
"Like, with the whole identity thing being revealed." You say more clearly, and his face pondered at your sentence.
A few seconds of silence creeps through the phone, the question still lingering in the air, awaiting to be answered.
"Ever since I got bit by that spider.." Peter starts, breaking the silence as he slowly answered the question.
"I only had one week where my life felt normal." He tells you and you couldn't help but feel bad.
"Or kind of normal, I guess." Peter adds and you nod in silence as he continues.
"And, that is when you found out." He says, gazing back at the phone.
You pout slightly, your sympathetic eyes staring behind your phone as you listened.
"Because then everyone that was in my life that I wanted to know, knew." Peter admits, and your eyes shift back toward the phone.
You understood where Peter was coming from, glad your question was answered. You really couldn't imagine the things your boyfriend had to go through after being bitten by a radioactive spider.
"And it was perfect."
You sigh in defeat, your face falls into a sad expression, at a lost for words or even a proper reply.
"But now everybody knows and I am the most famous person in the entire world." Peter states with a heavy sigh as he stared at the condo ceiling.
"And I'm still broke." The boy joked, making you let out a giggle.
You were silent for another minute, your heart beating at a steady rhythm against your chest, content with Peter's answer.
You couldn't bare another day without physically seeing him, the daily routined phone calls not enough.
"I really miss you." You tell him with a soft tone, your eyes looking at the carpet of your bedroom before looking back at the phone, seeing Peter's face gleam.
"Yeah?" He asked with a smile.
"Mhm." You hummed. "I also can't wait to see you at school tomorrow." You confessed, your eyes half lidded, tiredness hitting you like an ocean wave.
"I miss you, and I too can't wait to see you at school tomorrow." Peter retorts, his smile only growing wider with each word he says.
"Wrap it up." A voice demands from Peter's end of the phone, making the boy jump in alert, as you just furrow your eyebrows.
"You both like each other. We get it. Hang up." Happy countered sternly and you fight back a laugh at his annoyance.
"There's no new ground being broken. I need my eight hours." The older man says, his voice muffled by the ventilator.
"Have you been listening this whole time?" Peter questioned.
"Hi Happy." You greet awkwardly.
"Uh, not by choice." The man admits, to which you do laugh at.
"Y/N says hi." Peter tells the grumpy man.
"Hello." He waves, slowly drifting off back into his slumber.
You two suppress your giggles after Happy falls asleep again. It only got harder since the mere thought of poor Happy listening to you two talk all sappy to each other, tortured him, and you could take a few guesses as to why.
You yawn after you both stop your laughter, the action not going unnoticed by Peter.
"You should probably get your eight hours in." The boy teased, you snort at his joke, nodding in agreement.
"You as well." You tell him, stretching the lower half of your body, once again shifting into a cosier position.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow, 'kay?" Peter agreed, and you could see the sleepiness in his eyes.
It was a wonder how it only took Happy breaking your conversation midway to make the two of you realize just how tired you were.
"Goodnight Peter." You reply, a lazy smile on your face.
"Goodnight." The boy says softly, the phone call coming to an end.
You stretch once more, putting your phone on the nightstand near your bed, turning over to get more comfier under your blanket, closing your eyes and picturing a world where you and your friends didn't have to go through the torment you were going through now.
Hopefully your school day wouldn't be as bad as you thought.
Tumblr media
School was just as bad as you thought. As soon as you exit the car, there was a mob of either citizens or students swarming the front of the school.
You and MJ had to ride to school with Peter and Ned, via Happy's request because May feared the worst if you four weren't together when attending school. You were glad that she suggested it, because compared to how you imagined, it was chaos.
Chaos is probably a bit of a stretch, but when you were walking up to the school, there was people with homemade posters, claiming just how wrongly villainous Peter was, blaming the boy for Mysterio's death.
As mentioned before you weren't a people person, and you didn't do well in a large crowd, though this wasn't exactly your problem, you made it your problem because you knew Peter. You don't regret it one bit though. The one thing you wished for really was for the people to understand Peter's side of the story.
No one deserves to be wrongly accused for something they didn't do, but you knew how the world worked. People believed what they wanted to believe.
Your anxiety worsen as you walked side by side next to said person, Peter, your sister, MJ, and best friend Ned, closely behind the two of you.
You and Peter instinctively reached for each-other's hand, being one another's unsaid emotional support, guiding through the roaring crowds of people dreadfully.
People were either shouting your name, Peter's name, even Ned and MJ's. Some were saying things you couldn't quite hear, insults here and there, one civilian even asking you if you were going to have Peter's, "spider babies". You shivered at the thought.
Thankfully, a lady who guided you through the crowd, had made sure no one got too close to you or your friends.
"You know he's a murderer right?
"Peter. Do a TikTok with me."
"Mysterio forever!"
"Do a flip!"
Was all you heard as you walked by, your gaze worriedly going to Peter's who face was pinched with cringe, his strong urge to ignore the words being thrown at him.
When the four of you had finally arrive at the threshold of the front doors of Midtown, there was a few security guards waiting at the door, one with a body scanner.
The one with the body scanner, scans Peter, who after he was done attempted to wait for you and your friends, but obviously they wouldn't let him, and your face is evident in defeat.
"I'll see you inside, okay?" Peter reassures as a security guard body scans you, you give him a weak nod.
Soon after, MJ, and Ned get scanned as well, you waited inside the building patiently.
One of the front doors open, revealing MJ, who quickly goes over to hug you, her curly hair in a down do hairstyle, different from her common one you were so used to.
You quickly hug her back, embracing each-other for awhile before pulling back.
"You okay?" You ask her, she nods in response.
"Yeah, where's Peter?" She questioned.
"Class probably." You answer unsurely.
To be fair, you really had no idea where your boyfriend had went. You figured he'd be in class anyway, but not without going through expecting students that most likely lingered in the hallway.
It was your senior year you realize, this was supposed to be it. Instead you were doing everything but beaming with happiness as your final year finally rolled around.
"'S fine, we have him next period." She says, linking her arm with yours as the two of you wait for Ned.
You had no first period class with the two of them, but you decided on earlier in the car you all would walk each-other to your classes, but since the plan backfired, you just had to make do with what you got.
Ned arrives shortly, asking the both of you if you were okay, and you two tell him you were before dreadfully making your way to class.
Tumblr media
When lunch finally came, Peter finds his way to you somehow through the expecting large crowds of people who lingered to gaze at him, some amazed that an actual superhero was attending their very school.
The boy had pleaded for the two of you to go someplace quiet, anywhere away from the pestering students inhabiting the school, it didn't take much convincing on your end.
Peter had taken you to the roof of the school, a place you knew was probably the most quietest the two of you had been to in what felt like forever.
"Can we just stay up here all day?" Peter asked from above you, you reading through a newspaper you had found on your way to school.
You two had been up here for five minutes, you resting your head in his lap as he relaxed above you, staring off thinking about only god knows what.
"It is so crazy down there." He tells you, and you hum in agreement, something in the newspaper article catching your eye, almost making you laugh out loud.
"Wait, 's one's good." You say with a small chuckle.
"Some suggest that Parker's power include male spider's ability to hypnotize females," You share with a more bigger chuckle, and from the corner of your eye you see Peter's face fall in disbelief. "Which he used to seduce Jones-Watson into his cult of personality." You finish in amusement, hearing Peter let out a groan.
"Oh, Come on. Stop, stop." He pleaded, and you mischievously smirk.
"Yes my spider king." You mock teasingly.
Peter shoots you a glare from above as you break out into a giggle, the boy soon chuckling as well.
Once the both of you stop your chortling, you sit up from where you rested in his lap, placing the newspaper next to your backpack, gazing at Peter who was already looking at you.
You notice the boy's stare shift from your eyes, trailing to your lips, and you can't help but do the same. Peter smoothly places one of his hands on your cheek, the warmth of it burning against your fair skin.
You already knew where this was going, you had been touched deprived from him for way too long, and you were finally happy the two of you got the alone time you deserved.
You close your eyes just as Peter does the same, both of you leaning in, your lips just inches away, you could feel his breath so close to yours, going in for what you needed most.
"Finally some privacy." Ned bursts through the exit door of the roof, MJ trailing behind him with her bag half on her shoulder.
You and Peter slowly pull away, the boy's hand falling from your face and you give him a sheepish look with a shrug, your eyes watching the two come sit across from you and Peter.
"It is so crazy down there." Ned says, shrugging off his backpack and you just nod in agreement as MJ looked in-between you and Peter.
"What were you two losers doing?" MJ questioned knowingly, narrowing her eyes.
"Nothing."
"Talking."
You give Peter a look, which only made MJ grow more in suspicion at what you were really up to.
Truth was, you were doing nothing, the only thing about to be done didn't happen, and you were talking at first, so not much of that was really a lie.
But thankfully your sister decides not to harass the two of you anymore, pulling out a book from her backpack, blocking the three of you out for the mean time.
"So, I was thinking.." Ned trails off, grabbing his backpack and unzipping the bag to dig through it.
"When we get into MIT, we should live together." The boy suggested as he pulled out his school laptop.
You smile at his words, nodding in agreement as did Peter.
"Yeah, for sure." The spider boy verbally agrees.
"Yeah, love that." MJ deadpans.
You ignore her, focusing your attention on the laptop that Ned had pulled out, showing the front page of MIT.
MJ looks up in curiosity, glancing at the laptop that was held on display for the three of you.
"This is gonna be us." Ned smiles.
"Sure." You say, whole heartedly agreeing with him.
"Minus the Frisbee and the smiling." MJ added, her face cringing at the mere image.
"MIT's obviously the dream, but if we match our backup schools, then either way we'll be in Boston." Peter countered with hope laced in his tone.
"New school, new town. I can Spider-Man there." The boy suggested, getting approving nods from MJ and Ned, turning his gaze to you and you shrug.
"They have crime in Boston, right?" Peter asked you absentmindly, you once again shrug, giving a verbal answer as well.
"Totally."
"Wicked crime" Ned adds in.
"It'll be like a fresh start." Peter states, still expectingly gazing upon you.
You reluctantly nod, sparing a glance at MJ, who's face fell from her grimace to a much more dreaded look.
Peter noticed the lack of the both of your hopeful faces, furrowing his eyebrows in wonder.
"What's up?" Peter questioned, darting his eyes in-between the two of you.
You told MJ about your doubts of the two of you getting to the same school, well not just the two of you, all of you, really. You never had a single doubt before, but now that the knowledge of Peter's secret identity was revealed, you feared that with you knowing him your chances would decrease.
You just wanted all of you to be in the same place at all times, safe and happy. It was easier said than done unfortunately.
"Nothing, it's just..." You trail off, not knowing how to word what you were feeling.
"If you expect disappointment, then you can never really get disappointed." You hear your sister say, the three of you turning your heads to look at the girl.
You nod at her words. It was something she would rarely say, this being the first time she shared her words to anyone in a long time.
"No, hey, come on." Peter says, taking a hold of your hand, before looking back at MJ.
"Be a fresh start, and we'll all be together." Peter reassured, his hold of your hand only tightening, showing you a reassuring smile.
There was something that lingered inside you at his words, you couldn't pinpoint it but you figured you best drop the uneasy feeling still stirring in your gut, giving your boyfriend a nod in agreement.
"Yeah, fresh start." You mutter, giving him a weak smile.
"Fresh start." Ned also says, placing his hand on top of yours and Peter's and when MJ didn't, the boy's other hand dragged her free one on top of his.
You had only hoped Peter's words were right. You couldn't bare another disappointment ensuing.

Leap of faith
Summary: you didn't expect you'd be pulled into a verse where there is no Avenger, no Peter, and no Ned.
Pairing: Miles Morales x (half filo) Stark!reader
Warning: knife, cursing, cursing in tagalog, violence, mention of death.
Previous part
Tumblr media
It has been two days since you've been pulled by that strange portal. By some mysterious matter, Gwen and you somehow got into visions academy, an academy which you heard are only for the rich and intelligent kids. Vision Academy wasn't hard and it wasn't easy either but you could manage same goes for Gwen, she was rather exceptional herself.
When night falls you always find yourself feeling alone, sure Gwen was there but she is either sleeping or completely ignoring you. You miss home, you missed your dad, that's the only thing you and Gwen had in common, missing home.
You grabbed your suit deciding to sneak out, you looked at Gwen "wanna go for a swing?" You asked, she was burying her nose in a book "No, I feel tired" she lazily replied.
"Suit yourself, pinkie" You jump from your two-story building and shot a web on a building. You were too deep in your thoughts as you swing. Yesterday you went to visit Manhattan and found absolutely nothing. Manhattan looked so empty without the avenger tower.
There was a spider person like you in this verse but to your surprise, it was a guy, there was no explanation as to how any of this happened but since you got here you made it upon yourself to make some sort of device to get yourself home but it was quite complicated than you thought. The multiverse was somehow in shambles, you hoped that Dr. Strange finds a way to fix this while you were trying to go home.
You sat on a tower watching the city lights; you sat there for a while, thinking of something, anything other than this madness.
You got bored eventually and just decided to look around, your line of sight traveled to each civilian until it landed on a lady being mugged by someone.
"Okay! Need to get these pent-up feelings out!" You stretched your limp arms then you started to shoot your web to the next building.
"Woo! " You shouted, dodging a huge truck as you made your way to the crime "Help-- help me please!" The lady sounded so defeated her broken sobs were heard a mile away making you pick up your pace.
"Ain't it a bit rude, interrupting her well-deserved walk?" You spoke out of nowhere, making the culprit look up from his current position "Who are you!?" He shouted, quite terrified seeing a new sight other than their local hero.
"That's what they always say" You jump from a small building then you started to walk over to him "Never, 'oh! How are you amazing spider-woman?' you know what I mean? No?" You taunted.
"Stay where you are! Or else this bitch dies" he gruffly grabbed the woman's arm as he pointed the knife at her neck.
You gasp "Calling a woman 'bitch'? How would your mother feel if he saw you right now? Pushing you out of her vajayjay must've been a huge disappointment" You clicked your tongue in feigned disappointment.
"Oh well! There's nothing we could do about that" You shrugged. You swiftly shoot your web at the girl, successfully pulling her to you as she yelps at the process.
The culprit backed away dropping his knife and sprinting for his dear like "Hey! Where are your manners!" You shouted.
You were about to go after him but then a silhouette suddenly appeared in front of him catching him off guard, before he knew it he was already stuck on a wall, webs all over his body.
You saw Spiderman right there in front of you, he was talking to the culprit about something then his sight averted to you.
"Saw your little stunt, who are you?" He asked as he inch his way towards you "Ha? no no English." You tried to salvage this situation with your god-awful accent only to receive a laugh "No need to hide, heard you talking about pushing someone out of there-- you know how it goes" he winced.
The lady from earlier had already left after thanking you, so it was just the both of you plus the culprit who was on the wall "Who are you?" He asked again "tangina, papatayin ako ni Gwen nito" (fuck, Gwen is gonna kill me) you muttered. It didn't bother you much but Gwen, Oh dear.
Peter didn't understand a thing you just said, the only thing he caught was the name 'Gwen' "Whose Gwen?" He asked
"No one! It's nice doing business with you Mr. Daddy long legs!" Before you got time to swing your ass to Gwen he said something and you froze.
"I'm Peter, Peter Parker." The deafening silence made Peter uncomfortable a bit. In your verse Peter wasn't the Spiderman, instead, he had lived a pretty normal nerdy life and was your best friend who was obsessed with the star wars lore and Legos.
This Peter was much older than you, you can tell. Peter took off his mask and it completely left your mouth hanging open. Instead of luscious dark brown curly hair, he was blonde, and as you guess he was much much older than you.
"Is this what old age does to you!? Turn you blonde?!" You gestured your hands around him in exaggeration "Time has not been good to you, babes" Peter was offended for all he knows, he was perfect.
"She can talk.." he muttered. "No this isn't fair" he shook his head with a furrowed brow. "I don't know your name and your Identity" he sighs, looking at you expectedly "Oh! Right. Wait a minute, barbie"
"I'm pretty gorgeous so be warned" It feels like you were revealing yourself in a Roblox group chat with a bunch of kids that you and your Peter tried to prank. you pushed the nanotechnology spider logo on your suit and there reveals your face.
"Im--"
"Y/n!"
You didn't expect this...Peter, not your Peter, engulfed you in a tight hug, making you stumble back "O-okay.." you awkwardly said not knowing where to put your hands.
For what felt like minutes he started to sob "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" his breath was ragged if mistaken he'd have a panic attack "Dude, hey...what happened?" You finally asked.
Peter pulled away from you, as he wiped off his tears "I thought you...d-died" he had a hard time looking at you, guilt pooled in his eyes "whaaatt?" You dragged your word, still not processing his statement.
He chuckled softly but the pain is evidently still there "You're mistaken, Peter. I'm not from here, I just happen to stumble here"
"What?" He asked finally discarding his previous feeling "I was pulled by something close to a black hole, which terrified the hell out of me by the way" Peter paced around, still not meeting your gaze, afraid that if he did, he might cry again.
"Kingpin.." he muttered, he was thinking for a while then he finally looked up at you "Wait, how come you're here early? He didn't activate the machine yet" his voice was painted with confusion and a tinge bit of solemnity.
"Beats me, but that is a horrible name" You made a face of disgust while Peter smiled fondly, seemingly remembering something that includes you "You're still the same y/n, well except for the part where you spoke in a different language" that made you smile, although you have no idea what you're getting yourself into or who this exact copy of you is.
"Wanna grab a coffee or something?" You asked, as you ready yourself to swing "at this hour? Sure, why not" he put on his mask and with a last nod he took off swinging, you following behind him.
----
"You married Mj?!" You gaped at him, shaking his head as he took a bite of his burger "Yeah I did, she helped me a lot since... you know" he looked down at the city, he was trying to say something but he was having a hard getting it out; finally he let out a long sigh then he looked at you. "Y-you were too young when you died, Y/n. I couldn't forgive myself"
"Hey, it's not your fault. Even if it's not me I know she won't blame you either." You rub comfort on his back, you don't know a single thing about comforting.
Peter's usual demeanor came back after a few words of horrible comforting and encouragement, and you think he finally has the closure he deserves.
You told him everything about the verse you live in, from the Avengers to your Peter and your father.
"Wait, so this Captain America guy, is always on your 'ass' because you're being too unnecessarily loud?" He questioned "Yes! Good thing I can curse in my own language so he's got nothing on my ass... although he found out one day, didn't hear the end of it. My dad was a snitch" you muttered the last part.
Peter laughed "Your suit is awesome by the way," He asked "I made it!" You smugly said. Peter let out a huff in amusement. "You? You made it?" He said as if he didn't believe your statement but he knew full well that you were capable of making something like that.
You scoffed "Of course I did, I mean how couldn't I?" Peter rolled his eyes at you, he then averted his gaze back to the city. Hanging out with Peter made you miss your Peter more; Sure they were different in so many ways but they somehow share the same traits.
"I've got to go Peter" You sat up from your position, as Peter did the same following your action "See you around?" He asked, "Of course!" You outstretched your hand for a fistbump and he gladly reciprocated.
You both went your separate ways, as you continued to swing back to your dorm. The whole way there you were thinking about how you're gonna tell Gwen this but that didn't really register when you arrived back at your dorm.
Will you're not inside your dorm, more like outside banging the hell out of the window "Gwen! Open this window right now!" You shouted but not too loud, careful to not wake up your dorm neighbor "Hoy Gwen! Anak nang- open this right now Gwen!" (Hey Gwen! Son of a-- open this right now Gwen) You groaned.
Gwen wasn't asleep, you can clearly see the light from your shared bedroom. To no avail, you just decided to give up "tangina, mandaan moto Gwen!" (son of a bitch, mark this day Gwen!) You spoke lastly as you tried to find a window that can access the hall, you just hoped the security guard was asleep.
You found one "Take that Gwen!" You muttered. You already took off your mask and covered your suit with a jacket. You gently closed the window as carefully as you could to not cause some attention. You smiled to yourself "'Another night another slay and I served--" and you spoke too soon.
You felt someone crash into you but you didn't fall it just surprised you, but the person who bummed you did. Miles groaned as he tried to focus his vision, he swore a huge guy must've bummed into him but then he looked up.
"Oh"
"Are you okay, wait-- are you sneaking out?" You asked as you help him up "N-no" he stuttered. He regained his balance then he finally got a good look at you.
Your hair was disheveled and you got a bag forming under your eye but you still look good, at least that's what you think about yourself.
You hummed looking at him suspiciously "Right..." He looked anywhere, avoiding your observant eyes "I-- uh, I was trying to--" he rubbed his neck with his dominant hand while his other hand was gesturing around.
You laughed "Dude relax, I'm not gonna snitch on you-- unless you're trying to snitch on me" You feigned seriousness "No! I-I swear I will not!" He replied almost immediately.
"I'm just playing with you, but if you don't want to get caught, don't go this hall if you're trying to sneak out"
"Then why are you here?"
You pursed your lips and clicked your tongue "I- you-" Miles knitted his brow together, awaiting your reply. You let out a sigh.
"you know what? I think I'm gonna snitch on you" You narrowed your eyes at him. Miles laughed, his previous nervous demeanor decapitated and instead, he tried to cover it up with faux confidence.
"you can't do that now, can you? I'm Miles Morales." he smiled. He had that kind smile that can make you melt.
"You're new, right? I-- I'm actually new too" You noticed he was growing nervous. You nodded "I guess...I saw what your dad did earlier" you smirked, as he groaned in embarrassment.
"Please don't make me remember that," he said with an exaggerated sigh. The scene between Miles and his Dad brought a frown across your face, it awfully reminded you of your dad.
"Oh, I doubt that. That's gonna stick with you as long as I'm near" You started to walk as he followed after you.
"I never caught your name--"
"Probably because, I didn't throw it, Morales" you blatantly said. Miles rolled his eyes a growing smile made its way to his lips.
"I didn't mean it like that, and just call me by my first name, it's weird" You chuckled "Sure, Morales" Miles threw his head back laughing.
The pair of you blindly walked through the hall, forgetting about the curfew entirely "Aren't you going to sneak out?" You asked Miles.
Miles chuckled nervously "I was gonna, but I'm just too tired, you know?" Miles wanted to sneak out and talk to his uncle but he didn't want to miss this opportunity into making friends.
"Am I really that good to hang out with for you to miss your daily sneak-out sesh?" You smirked as you leaned in closer to him. Miles was tense he couldn't say a word, your breath was fanning onto him and he can basically smell your perfume.
Suddenly a whistle echoed at the end of the hall making both of you turn your head to the source "Isn't it a bit too early to shag your classmate!" The guard shouted. "you'll both face deep consequences about this!"
"Run." You whispered into his ears, and Miles swore he could feel goosebumps. Before he even got time to process his dilemma, you grabbed his arms without warning, and god you were strong.
"Isn't it a bit too early to listen to the exclusive spider man Christmas song?!" You shouted with a laugh. Miles who heard your statement snorted and let out a bark of laughter.
"I didn't know you had such great taste in music!" Miles counter back and laughed. He peeked from his shoulder to see the guard who was running after the both of you; the way the guard ran made Miles laugh even harder his stomach hurting.
You looked back seeing the same thing and just like Miles it had you crackling. To say the guard wasn't flustered was an understatement, that enough made him determined to catch you both. Both of your laughter was so loud some of the students came out of their dorms and that alone distracted the guard from chasing after the both of you.
It took you a while to find a safe place to finally get peace. Mile was out of breath, he was panting like a dog; with laughter mixed with a full lap run, who wouldn't?
"you look dehydrated," you said out of amusement.
"Really? I didn't think it was that obvious" he remarked between ragged breath.
You sat down, him sitting down next to you, he was still out of breath "Why are you so unaffected-- I mean like, you basically ran through the whole school" You side glance at him "Mama mo blue." (Your mom is blue) that was so out of pocket even for Miles. Honestly, you didn't feel like talking, you loved Mile's company but you were just too tired, everything was just so overwhelming.
"No she's not, bet yours is" That made you chuckle, Miles understanding parts of your Filipino jokes brought you smiling wider.
"My mom is dead." You laughed seeing Mile's color drained from his face "I'm so sorry--" he was genuinely trying to apologize but he burst out laughing making you laugh harder.
"I'm serious though-- I'm sorry" his laughter subsided, replacing it with a sympathetic look "No need, Miles. It was a long time ago" You smiled reassuringly at him.
Miles grinned, looking mischievously at you "What?" You asked "You called me by my first name" he wiggled his brows "Oh fuck off, dude" You punched his shoulder gently but he still made a sound.
You felt your phone buzz, averting your attention to your phone. Miles watched your smile turn into an annoyed frown as you saw the text on your phone.
"where are you?" you mocked in a high-toned voice. Miles let out a huff of amusement watching you "Now she's worried when she was the one who locked me out!" You complained.
"Roommate?" Miles asked feeling quite the same as you. You hummed.
"my roommate is always on his computer 24/7 sometimes I can hardly sleep at all," he said still looking your way. "Will, let's just say my roommate likes to play pranks with me" you muttered.
"Didn't it cross your mind that maybe she does that because...you always start it"
You scoffed "Strong accusation, but fair point-- and I need to go, she's spamming me" You stand up from your position as Miles frowned.
"You still didn't tell me your name," he said while standing up. You narrowed your eyes, surely you won't tell him your name but you thought of a cool nickname to piss Gwen off.
"Gwendolyn Garcia" you held back a laugh, pursing your lips to conceal it. "Will see you around, Gwendolyn" he enthusiastically said.
"Copy that" Hearing that made Miles groaned loudly and you throw your head back laughing. You both went your separate ways with the previous event still in mind. Miles for sure will cherish the night. You in the other hand still can't sleep.

PETER PARKER X FEM!READER
note: georgie griswold is reader’s twin brother :) both are 17 and juniors at midtown!!
summary: harry’s important “news” pisses you off, so you go straight to the source yourself. except when he doesn’t give you answers, you just sort of… slap it out of him.
WC: 1.8k
TW: violence (a slap), swearing
Tumblr media
even as a child, you had been kept out of the public eye.
your last name being one of the most recognized in the world, your father tried his hardest to prevent you and your brother from a childhood of cameras and zero privacy.
that only worked for so long, and eventually the two of you were placed in the best private school your father could find, midtown high.
when the two of you transferred your freshman year, all eyes were on you. It didn’t matter how long the both of you had been there, immediately you two became the most popular two in all of the school.
money, grades, status, and beauty? every girl wanted to be you and every guy wanted to date you. it was no secret either.
so when you woke up on monday morning, prepared for another perfect day in your perfect life, the last thing you expected was to get suspended that same afternoon.
➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶
“miss griswold?” a quiet voice squeaked from your bedroom’s door.
you groaned in response, pushing the pillow over your ear in hopes to drown out the noise.
“it’s monday, miss. school starts in an hour.” the voice became closer, and before you knew it, cold hands were on the exposed portion of your arm.
you let out a hiss and turned to see the newest maid, daliah, looking at you with wide eyes.
“yes, i know. now please go away. ugh!”
she nodded quickly and then rushed to the door, probably going to cry or something. you didn’t really care either way.
sitting up in your king sized bed, you stretched and took off the eye mask that sat on your forehead.
sighing, your feet touched the carpeted floors and you padded into the cool bathroom.
after a twenty minute and incredibly organized skincare routine, you made your way back into your extremely large bedroom, and waltzed into the walk in closet.
the walls were lined with expensive and beautiful clothing, but of course, since you went to the most boring and bland school in existence, you were forced to wear a fugly yellow and blue uniform.
you quickly put your hair up in a sleek ponytail, and had jaela, your makeup artist, do a simple makeup look
slipping your feet into your black tom ford pumps, and grabbing your celine backpack from the floor, you made your way out of the closet, and then out of your bedroom, into the tall and long marble hall that held two rooms; yours and your brothers.
you walked down the extensive hall to the curved matching marble staircase, and trailed your perfectly polished black nails on the gold railing as you made your way down.
sara, your maid since you were a child, was waiting at the bottom, and you greeted her with a smile.
“good morning, miss.”
“morning, sara. where’s dad?”
“he’s already at work, but breakfast is prepared.” she gave you a ‘sorry’ look, but you were used to your father never showing. ever since your mother passed he never seemed to make an effort with your brother or you.
taking a seat across from georgie, you watched as he smiled down to his phone.
“texting gwen?” you smiled, happy that your best friend and twin were finally together.
“no. betty, actually.” he awkwardly looked up.
your eyebrows narrowed, and the corners of your mouth went downwards.
“betty brant?” you asked accusingly, causing georgie to give you a look.
“please, g, spare me the jokes,” you laughed, expecting him to confess he was kidding.
“no. y/n/n, i’m seeing betty.”
“this is ruining my morning. stop talking.” you ordered, pushing away from the table and rushing to the elevator. georgie followed after you.
though he stood at 6’3, and had much longer legs, he could never match your pace when you were angry.
“y/n, cmon. don’t be a bitch.”
“georgie! i just really don’t want to speak about this.” you said, very sternly. he winced and tucked his arms into the pockets of his khakis, standing awkwardly next to you.
“let’s forget this happened, yeah? i’ll pretend betty brant’s name never left your mouth, and we will be the perfect twins that we always are.” you smiled your sickly sweet smile at him, and he rolled his eyes before agreeing.
“fine. whatever.”
➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶
the day passed as slow as it possibly could. that was until lunch, of course, and then it seemed your life couldn’t get any worse.
you sat down with gwen, liz, and harry, like you always did, and the four of you giggled loudly and gossiped like no one could hear.
the four of you made up the school’s most popular and desirable friend group. some called you “the elites”, and others just referred to you guys as spoiled assholes.
liz was the brains, harry was the gossip, you were the face, and gwen was the glue. she kept you all from falling apart.
obviously, when there was any friend group filled with four, gossip obsessed, narcissistic, beautiful teenagers, there was sure to be drama. gwen made sure that drama never let your friendships dwindle.
people would still be jealous, even if you mentioned their names or not.
your idiot brother sat with brad and flash, even though you often voiced your disgust for the both of them.
brad being your first — and only — boyfriend, decided to dump you the summer before your junior year.
the two of you avoided each other all year, and you had zero intent of speaking to him as the year came to a close.
you watched georgie smile down at his phone as it lit up with messages, and hoped deep down that he was joking. even though your mind screamed that he wasn’t.
harry’s loud “psssst!” broke you out of your absorbing thoughts, and you snapped your head to his direction.
“parker’s been spreading some good goss.”
gwen and liz both leaned in, also wanting to hear what your groups notorious big mouth had to say.
“wait,” all heads turned to you.
“who is peter parker?”
liz giggled and harry rolled his eyes. “the weird nerd who was obsessed with liz last year!” harry whisper-yelled, obviously wanting to tell his story.
“alright, go on,” you urged.
“supposedly, parker told ned leeds that he took your virginity last weekend at flash’s party…” harry shyly smiled, waiting for your response.
instead of answering with words, liz, gwen, and harry watched as your lips turned down to a scowl and your eyes narrowed into slits.
“i’m gonna cut off his dick!” you exclaimed, jumping up from your seat and rushing to the back of the cafeteria, where parker sat with his loner friends.
once harry had told you who parker was, you could picture him perfectly in your head.
brown curls, deep brown eyes, and a jawline that could cut diamonds. he was sort of cute….. no! y/n stop it! you scolded yourself.
this boy was spreading lies about you and your most special thing. how dare he? who did he think he was?
marching straight up to the boy who sat laughing with his two nerd friends, you stopped short in front of him, and crossed your arms.
you heard gwen suck in a breath behind you, and harry skidded to a stop on your left.
“parker…” he nodded, as peter’s head shot up.
ned grinned, never even imagining that the elites would walk up to him.
peter looked at the four of you in suspicion. was this about liz? he thought that ended months ago.
but once he saw your face, he knew this wasn’t about liz.
you stared at him with slits for eyes. he thought yoy looked like a lion staring at it’s prey.
you were beautiful, yet terrifying.
“h-hey,” he stuttered, watching gwen awkwardly rub her arm, and harry nudge liz’s side.
“get. up.” you seethed, still burning holes into peter’s eyes.
if looks could kill, peter would be six feet under.
he looked back at mj, who stared blankly at you, and ned, who was bursting at the seams with excitement.
“i said, get the fuck up!”
his eyes widened again, and he abruptly stood up, smoothing down his wrinkled uniform.
“what the fuck do you think you’re doing?” you seethed.
“i- what?” he murmured, shaking his head.
liz turned around and tried not to watch, she couldn’t help but feel bad for the boy.
gwen stood right behind you, ready to pull you away in case it got too intense.
harry, on the other hand, watched with wide eyes, acting as if this was a movie that he got early access to.
“don’t play dumb with me. and also, don’t be a douche. i cant believe your nerve!”
he shook his head again, trying to understand what you were so pissed off about.
“i’m confused,” he breathed out, awkwardly laughing, which just set you off more.
your shoulders went up and down as you took in a deep breath.
after around ten seconds of no one speaking, you smiled at peter.
not a genuine smile, though. a smile that said, “you really expect me to believe your bullshit?”
peter smiled back. and you couldn’t stand that.
usually you weren’t one to resort to violence, but when a nobody is telling half the school that he took your virginity, when he didn’t, you don’t know what else to turn to.
you turned around, as if you were leaving, before spinning back around on the balls of your feet and leaving a huge red mark on the side of peter’s cheek.
his head turned with the impact, and gwen let out a shriek behind you.
“what?” liz questioned, turning around to see your hand raised in the air, and peter holding his cheek while his eyes lit with fire.
harry sucked in a breath, watching your eyes widen, and peter’s shoulder rise and fall with his angry breaths.
ned’s mouth hung open, and mj’s eyebrows hit her hairline.
the entire cafeteria watched. the golden girl? slapping someone? it was unbelievable.
no matter how rude or spoiled you acted, nobody had ever seen you be violent.
not even the occasional into-the-locker-shove.
georgie rushed over and pushed harry out of the way. he placed a hand on your shoulder, and tried to lead you away.
you stood frozen, and breathed out the first words spoken since the slap.
“oh my go-“
“griswold! parker! my office, NOW!” principal morita bellowed from across the cafeteria.
you looked at him, and then your still raised arm, and tucked it into your side, your head falling into your chest from embarrassment.
your father would not be happy.

IRON SPIDER | Tony Stark Daughter! Reader (Part 2)
Previous part
Tumblr media
(Y/n) (L/n)
That's what I had to be called there. (Y/n) (L/n). Miss (L/n). I felt like a part of me was taken away.
"I can just stay home right? I don't have to go." I asked my Dad, the field trip slip in front of us both on the table.
"I don't see why not. If you don't wanna go, you don't wanna go. You've seen and have better equipment than anything there." Dad argued and I nodded, agreeing with him but Pepper shook her head.
"No, I think she should go! It's good to have some school enrichment and this is the whole reason we sent her to school! So she actually socialises with people her own age and has some normal experiences!" Pepper argued and Dad raised a finger.
"First of all- you sent her to school -I wanted her to stay home. Second, she has friends now! She goes to school, Monday-Friday, isn't that enough socialising?" Dad argued back and I stood up to put my plate into the sink.
"I'd argue that it's more than enough socialising." I said and Dad nodded.
"It says that it's part of your lessons!" Pepper added and I frowned.
"I didn't go on "the field trip" the first time round! I did this whole course about 2 years ago when I was still being homeschooled by JARVIS!" I told them both and Pepper gave me a look.
"You're going." She said and I frowned before raising a finger but my dad beat me to it.
"Hold on. You're not the one that has to forge the signature of Mr (L/n)!" One look from Pepper made him look away from both of us. "You're going."
"You're such a suck up!"
"You'll be one when I ground you for that."
"Does that mean I won't be able to go then?"
"(Y/n)..."
"Switched teams faster than-"
"Stop-  before you make me sound like my Dad. Just go tinker or something and don't forget to take this in the morning." He told me and I groaned.
★・・・・・・★
Early May, 2015
"(Y/n)! You made it!" Liz exclaimed and I smiled, letting her hug me.
"Yeah, Stepmom changed my dad's mind." I told her and she smiled.
"Well, I'm glad! It means I don't have to go on this trip without my bestfriend! Im gonna need you to explain everything to me!" She exclaimed and I smiled.
"What did you pack for lunch?" Liz asked me as soon as we got on the bus. First of all- bus. I saw Happy's car sat outside the school gates ready to follow me for the whole of today.
"Er- my lunchbox broke ages ago so I'm just- I'm just gonna buy something when I'm there." I made up. You had to bring your own lunch?!
"Did you not know you had to bring your own lunch?" Liz joked and I smiled back.
"I didn't read the letter- I didn't even know it existed until I pulled it out from the bottom of my bag last night. I think it was about to start growing mould-" she cut me off with her laughing and playfully shoved me.
"If there's no food there you can always share mine if you want." She offered and I genuinely smiled.
"Thanks." I nodded and watched as she put her head phones on with me copying her soon after.
The song I was listening to almost had me in a trance when I almost jumped out of my skin because of JARVIS randomly in my ear.
"You're approaching the sciencenter 160, please remember that I'm still accessible and security measures are still in place. You are safe, Miss Stark." I sighed in relief and didn't reply but I looked out to see Happy's car following right to the side of the bus. I decided to look away from the window and to the inside of the bus to see a boy in my class called Peter staring at me. He went wide eyed and quickly looked away. I looked back to the window with the song still on full blast in my ears.
★・・・・・・★
"I hope you don't mind bugs! Because there's a lot of them here!" I shivered at the thought and noticed I wasn't the only one so uncomfortable in my own skin right now. I felt like something was crawling on me already.
"Feel free to have your own look!" I heard the tour guide tell us and immediately we were all splitting up around the room.
"(Y/n)! We're going to look at these tarantulas, wanna come?" Liz asked.
"As exciting as that sounds- I'm gonna pass. I'm just going to have my own look for a moment- I'll meet up with you guys at lunch!" I told them and walked off to the furthest table where Happy was wearing a face mask and sunglasses to disguise himself as regular security. No one was around so I felt more comfortable.
"I've never been a big fan of bugs- actually is there something crawling on me right now because I feel infested." I told him and he chuckled.
"You're fine. It's just some bugs and they're contained."
"Don't invalidate my fears. It makes me feel like you don't care about me." I told him and he sighed.
"I'm not having this argument again. I've had it with you father, I've had it with you, I'm not having it again. This is the 5th time now, (Y/n). I wouldn't still be working for you if I didn't care." He told me and I raised my hands up in surrender.
"Wouldn't kill you to show it once in a while, happs." I told him, staring at a centipede.
"You might want these." He told me and handed me a pair of glasses that I originally thought were prototypes. I looked at him in surprise and he lifted his sunglasses up to wink and and pointed them at him and nodded.
"You're good."
"I've known you since the first day your father held you. Don't test me when it comes to knowing you Starks." He told me and I nodded putting the glasses on.
"Jarvis?" ......
"Hello Miss."
"Yay!" I cheered quietly. "Okay, talk to me. Tell me what everything is. Occupy me so I don't get too bored." I told him.
"Of course." He replied and I smiled again.
"It's like being at home!" I said quietly to myself.
★・・・・・・★
"If you go through this door, I believe you will find a more interesting exhibit." Jarvis told me and I walked in to see a bunch of old square TVs that were playing old insect documentaries and movies. Multiple facts about different bugs were being told me by multiple people and narrators.
"Even Howard Stark said spiders were-"
"Hey-" I jumped out my skin to turn around and see Peter.
"Oh my god- you scared the shit out of me. Hey." I told him and he looked at me like he'd realised he don't something horrible to me.
"Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-" He was a little scrawny kid that was only a bit taller than me who I raised a hand to in order to get him to stop talking.
"Don't worry about it..." I told him and looked back the screen with my grandfather on who was holding a tarantula. I cringed and Peter looked at the same screen as me.
"He was an amazing mind- I mean he died before I was born but.... I don't really like bugs that much." He rambled and stumbled through his words and I genuinely laughed, softly but it did get a laugh out of me.
"It's okay, Pete. I don't really like bugs either."
"Pete?"
"Oh... do you not like being called that?" I asked and he shook his head.
"No, I'm okay with being called it- I just- I- no one's really gave me that nickname before." He told me and I raised my eyebrows.
"Do you want me to just call you Peter?" I asked and he shook his head again.
"No! You can call me whatever you want- I mean I think this is the first time I've actually spoke to you- I just- Uhm- I just thought you'd call me penis Parker or something like that." He told me and I almost frowned.
"Who calls you Penis Parker?!" I almost laughed. Penis Parker! "Who made that one up then?" I shook my head and a genuine smile came into his face.
"Flash but it's been picked up quite quickly."
"I must be out the loop then- ow!" I hissed as I felt a prick and looked down to see a big-ish spider on my hand. My eyes widened and I gasped starting to freak out. "Oh my god!" I said quickly.
"Oh!" Peter quickly gasped looking at it,
"Get it off! Get it off!" I quickly pleased shaking my hand and Peter without thinking picked it up by the leg and then tried to shake it off to which I landed on the floor and I quickly stamped on it, repeatedly before kicking it under the table.
"I'm burning these shoes!" I said, disgustedly.
"What if that spider was important!" Peter quickly gasped out and I tilted my head.
"Well it's not anymore. We should probably go- that thing bit me!" I told him and he looked at my hand quickly, I missed how he hid his hand from me and his wide eyes somehow became wider.
"It's just a spider-" he began to ramble again and I chuckled walking past him and gesturing him to follow me out to which he did.
★・・・・・・★
"Oh shit..." I said looking at the canteen and noticing the cafeteria was shut. Peter looked at me concerned.
"What's wrong?" He asked and I sighed.
"Nothing I just realised I have no lunch now. It's fine, I'll just get something later." I told him and almost went to walk off.
"You can share mine if you want? I ordered the bigger one today by accident and I didn't want to tell them I was wrong so we can split it if you want." Peter told me and I smiled but shook my head.
"Don't worry Pete. I'll just pick something up when I get home." I told him and he smiled.
"If you want any, just ask." He told me. I noticed that we were some of the first few in the cafeteria so I sat down with him.
"Who are you waiting for?" I asked Peter as he brought his sandwich out his bag.
"Ned! Ned Leeds- he's kind of my best friend... only friend." Peter told me and I smiled.
"I get it. Liz is like my best friend. I didn't have many friends before I came here." I told him and he nodded.
"Where are you from?" He asked, sand which stuffed in his mouth and I smiled.
"Miami." I told him and he went wide eyed.
"Miami?!" He repeated and I smiled.
"Miami.... It was a big move but we were kind of going to and from anyway." I lied and he nodded.
"Where do you live now?- Not in a creepy way!" I chuckled a bit at his franticness.
"Manhattan... I have an apartment in one of the towers." I said and he nodded.
"Like the Avengers' Tower?!" He said shocked like he had just discovered something and I laughed.
"Yes because I'm obviously (Y/n) Stark." I told him and he smiled in amusement.
"Nice try... I live in Queens. I have an apartment too." He told me and I smiled, it went silent after that.
"Want a bite?" Peter asked and I looked at him quizzically before nodding.
"Okay..." He gestured to the other half and I tried a bite. It was surprisingly good. "Oh wow... that's actually better than I was expecting." I told him and he smiled. Cheeks full of food.
"Delamar's! Best sandwiches in Queens!" He said, enthusiastically and I chuckled.
"I can see that now." I told him and saw Liz and that walking in. "My friends have just come in- I'm gonna go join them but it's been nice to talk to you, Pete." I told him and went to walk away.
"Hey!- Do you want the rest of my sandwich?! I'm not that hungry- honestly!" He offered.
"Are you sure? I'll just get myself something on my way home." I told him and he nodded.
"Take it! I mean- if you want to of course!" He told me and I smiled.
"Thanks, Pete. I'll see you after the break." I said, taking the half I had bit into and walked away.
★・・・・・・★
"Hey princess, how was the- the science place?" Dad asked and I made a face.
"Full of bugs! A spider even bit me and I had no lunch because I didn't pack one and there was nowhere to buy anything from. I'm lucky someone offered me half of their sandwich they didn't want." I ranted straight away, dumping my bag and kicking my shoes off- not literally because I always kept them in this one place. "I didn't even wanna go in the first place." I told him and I didn't look at him but I could feel his guilty expression staring at me.
"I'm sorry, honey. I never would've signed if I knew it would've been so bad for you." Dad told me and I pulled open the fridge to get a drink and a snack because all I had ate from 7am-6pm was half a sandwich.
"Yeah well, Pepper told you to do it so you obviously folded." I snapped before storming off to my room.
"Oh come on, honey, don't do this to me. Y'know you come first- Hey! Don't slam your door! You know how this goes from me being calm to you getting grounded when that happens!" He told me and I groaned before shutting my door normally and then shoving it hard when it got to the latch. Not enough to slam but enough to get my way.
★・・・・・・★
Tony sighed and closed his eyes before tilting his head up. He hadn't moved from where he was on the couch but he knew he had to soon.
"Miss Stark is quite upset. I have asked her if she'd like me to call you in and she said no but my protocols override this request." Jarvis announced to Tony who didn't open his eyes.
"Is she crying?" He asked, simply.
"Yes."
Tony stood up and and made his way to his daughter's room. Opening the door to see her laying down on her bed and facing away from the door. Tony sat down on the end of the bed near her head as she stopped her crying and refused to look at him.
"You all good?" He asked her and she nodded.
"Yeah." She said in a small voice.
"Really? Because this doesn't look all good to me." He told her and she shook her head this time letting more tears flow out. Tony just moved her closer and in turn she placed her head on the side of his lap and his hands began to run through her hair.
"It's not been your day, huh? Been there. Except mine was to do with this expo in 1998-" Tony started and (Y/n) chuckled a little. "- I mean she everywhere! I didn't know what she was saying or showing me-" He continued and (Y/n) leaned up to actually look at him. "All good?" He asked and she nodded.
"All good." She repeated and he brought her in for a hug.
"What's really bothering you?" He asked and she leaned into him. Staying quiet for a moment. "I know you're not just upset because you didn't have any food." He told her and she stayed still.
"I- I don't know. I guess I just feel out of place. I'm too young to blend in with all of you at home and I'm not used to anything at school. Y'know how embarrassing it is to not understand that you have to wait in line at a shop for the register? I do. It's very!" She vented and Tony sighed before making her move to siting up so he could actually hug her.
"I don't know what to tell you. You don't experience anything a normal kid would and you never have. You've been walking red carpets since you learned to walk and been kept at home for all your life. Y'know I'm realising that I just said I don't know what to tell you and I just told you something- anyway I'm saying it's my fault. It's my error. I should've done more to stop this from happening. I probably should've sent you to school earlier as well. Looking back there's a lot I could've done." Tony rambled a little and (Y/n) tried drying the rest of her tears with her sleeve.
"I'm scared as well." She added and he frowned.
"Of what?"
"You getting called to go be IronMan and you not coming back. I have this fear when I go to school that it will happen." She told him and he held her a bit tighter.
"That's what you said after New York too. Then it got worse after Miami where you couldn't sleep or be in a different room to me. Honey, you had to go to school in order to help with that. Can't live with this separation anxiety forever because it will eat you up and I can't be here forever so you've got to learn how to live without me too." Tony told her and she shook her head.
"I don't want to." She stubbornly said and Tony chuckled.
"I didn't want to know how to live without my parents either." He admitted before looking at her and she looked at him confused. "Listen, kid. Heres what we're gonna do. You're not going to focus on that. We're gonna go downstairs- get in the car, get food, get ice cream and then we're gonna put Lilo and Stitch on and whoever can remember the most lines gets to choose the next movie night. Deal?" He asked and held his hand out for her to shake. She shook it and nodded.
"Deal."
"Good. No more tears. I'm serious!" He 'reprimanded' jokingly and she laughed following him out her room.

Swinging By | Peter Parker One Shot
Being Spiderman was hard work.
Being Spiderman as a teenager that was still in high school was even harder.
And Peter Parker was tired. More like exhausted.
Of course, he enjoyed the role of superhero and getting to save people —he’d never take for granted having been bit by that radioactive spider. Still, he couldn’t help the fatigue that ransacked his body after every long day that passed.
He wished it was easier. That he had an endless supply of energy he could distribute whichever way he saw fit. He would have enough for his friends, for Aunt May, the city of New York… maybe even for (Y/N), his downstairs neighbor, and the girl that filled his mind every hour of the day.
He had seen her around the building. The very first time, she quickly caught his eye. It was the day her family had moved in. Peter had been too shy to say hi. He watched as the three of them walked in and out of the building with boxes in their hands, following the movers up and down the stairs.
Peter had wanted to help them. But for some reason, his limbs had gone numb and he couldn’t bring himself to approach them. Any of them. He simply watched as they moved back and forth in the building until they disappeared into their new home. It was clear that he had missed his chance to introduce himself to the girl that was wearing a sweater from the New York Hall of Science.
But May was always one step ahead and she had seen the longing stares her nephew would give to the girl every time she walked by. The boy had everything going for him. All he needed was a little push. And who better than his aunt to give it to him?
May had made a batch of “homemade” cookies –which meant she had bought premade dough and followed the instructions– for the new neighbors. Conveniently, she had to run out to the office on a saturday morning and couldn’t drop them off, leaving Peter to take care of the task.
“But, can’t you just leave it at their door with a note?” Peter whined as he felt anxiety bubbling in his body. “I’m sure they’ll appreciate it regardless.”
“Oh, come on, Peter,” she chuckled as she struggled to put on her heels. You swing from building to building and face aliens and magicians and criminals every day. I don’t think handing your neighbors a plate of cookies could compare.”
“But…”
“Peter, I just need you to do this one thing for me, please,” she smiled sweetly. “I promise I’ll make it up to you.”
“Alright, fine,” the boy finally resigned. “See you tonight.”
“Thank you, sweetie,” May called as she left through the door. “See you tonight.”
Peter had stared intently at the seran-wrapped plate in his hands, hoping he had developed teleportation powers in his sleep. He could already feel the knot of anxiety pushing against the walls of his throat, constricting sounds and air back. He couldn’t face her, not without making a fool of himself —something he could be sure of without his spidey senses.
He had decided to take the stairs, walking slower than humanly possible. But he wanted the time to build his confidence. He had been the Spider-Man for a little over eight months but he had met his match in the form of a girl his own age.
Before he had known, he had reached apartment 2F. The door was mocking him, teasing his cowardice and  nervousness. All he had to do was raise his fist and knock on the door.
“Get it together, Parker,” he spoke to himself in a hushed tone. “Just knock. All you have to do is knock on the door, leave the cookies, and go, nothing more. Just get it together. She might not even be there. It could just be her parents. Why are you so scared? It could just be her…”
“Can I help you?” A honey-laced voice broke him out of his trance as the door in front of him swung open. Her smile was as sweet as her voice and seeing her in passing did not compare to perusing her face at that moment. “You’re our upstairs neighbor; right?”
“Uh, uh,” he stammered as his train of thought broke. “Yes. Neighbor. Me.”
“Yes. Neighbor. You,” she chuckled. “I’ve seen you around. Sorry I haven’t had a chance to introduce myself. I’m (Y/N).”
“Pretty,” he sighed contentedly. But as soon as he noticed the words that had left his mouth, his whole face had gone red. “I mean, your name is pretty. Not that you’re not pretty, but I was talking about your name.”
“I figured,” she smiled warmly. “And yours is?”
“Oh, it’s Peter. Parker. Peter Parker.”
“Well, Peter Parker, may I ask why you were rambling in our Ring camera for a minute or two?” (Y/N) questions kindly. “Not that I’d mind seeing a cute guy talking to himself at my front door.”
If it had been possible for his face to grow redder, it had. He was sure he had turned the same shade as a tomato. “Yes, cookies,” he scrambled for his answer. His hand extended quickly, showing her that he wasn’t some creep at her door. He had brought a treat. “My aunt baked them to welcome you and your family to the building.”
“That’s so nice of you,” she beamed. “And normally I’d invite you in and share them with you, but we’re actually on our way out.”
“Oh, of course. I wouldn’t want to impose either way/”
“You could never, Peter Parker,”  she had smiled brightly at him. “But you should definitely come over soon. Might be some cookies left. Or I could make some brownies and send them your way.”
“I love brownies!” Peter answered enthusiastically. “And I might just take you up on your offer someday soon.”
“You better,” she had responded teasingly. “I’ll see you around the building then, Peter.”
“See you around, (Y/N).”
Seeing her around had turned into almost every other afternoon. And the building had turned into seeing her almost everywhere, including Midtown School of Science and Technology. Any free time he could find all he wanted was to spend it with (Y/N) – even if everything in his life was against it. The more he wanted to see her, the more the universe seemed to throw obstacles his way. A spike in criminality, another school project, Tony Stark calling him to the Avengers tower, everything that kept him from spending more time with her.
And everything had made him more and more tired.
For almost a month straight of coming home late at night, almost blind from exhaustion. His body had gone into auto-pilot. He would sneak into his room through his window, slip off his mask, and crash onto his bed to get at least three to four hours of sleep before he had to be up once more to do it all again. Peter could have made it into his bedroom with his eyes closed.
Something he shouldn’t have attempted to do even if he could.
It had been a rather debilitating night. He could feel the warmth of blood pooling on his forehead, his muscles were tight and sore, his leg was throbbing, and all he wanted to do was sink into his bed and pass out for a week.
Peter climbed the fire escape slowly, his eyes closed as he counted in his head the three flights of stairs that would lead him to his bedroom. His window gave him more trouble than normal, getting stuck halfway, something it had never done before. And when he slipped into his bedroom, he found it was darker than usual. But, all he wanted to do was sleep. Just sleep.
He slipped off his mask, wincing as the fabric stuck slightly to the cut on his face. Once the cover-up was off, he finally took in the room he was in. Quickly enough, he noted it was not his. Where his bunk beds would be, rested a full bed with black and gold bedding. The desk that would normally be covered with figurines and papers was replaced by a neatly organized surface. And he definitely would have remembered hanging vines and string lights on his wall.
“Uh, Peter?” His eyes went as big as saucers as he figured whose room he was actually standing in. “What the hell?”
The boy turned around quickly, feeling a sense of deja vu from when his aunt had found out his secret identity. He did his best to shield his suit, putting his brain into overdrive to come up with a plausible excuse for standing in the middle of her room dressed like New York’s one and only Spiderman.
“I, uh,” he stammered. “I can explain.”
“Peter, you’re hurt,” she gasped as she turned on the lights in her room. “Sit. I’ll get the first aid kit.”
Peter was dumbfounded. He was expecting her to freak out like Ned, or curse at him like aunt May. Instead, (Y/N) seemed far more worried about the cuts on his face than the fact that he was a secret superhero.
He took a seat on her desk chair, placing a discarded towel he’d found in her laundry basket, too afraid of staining her furniture. As he waited for her to come back, his eyes studied her room. His gaze fell upon a bundle of pined pictures on her wall, specifically on a picture from the month before.
They had spontaneously decided one afternoon to go to Central Park with Ned and MJ. They had walked, they had laughed, they had eaten ice cream, and, unbeknownst to him, MJ had snapped a picture of them as (Y/N) cleaned a drip of strawberry ice cream from his chin. But what stood out to him was the way her eyes shined as she looked at him. It was a gaze he had never noticed before on her.
“Got it,” she breathed as she came back into the room. “I just hope it’s enough. It doesn’t look that deep.”
(Y/N) settled before him, quickly going to work on cleaning his face. She poured alcohol onto a cotton pad, using the softest touch to not hurt him more than he already was. Her concentration zoned in on every cut, making sure not a single one was left behind.
Peter couldn’t help but memorize her face. The way her tongue peaked out slightly from her lips, the small furrow of her brows, and the little scrunch of her nose. He could have stared at her for the rest of time and he would have been okay with that.
“Alright,” she sighed. “All done. Is there any other wound concealed in this onesie?”
“Oh, uh, I don’t think so,” he chuckled. “My body might just be insanely bruised.”
“Do you need some ice?” (Y/N) worriedly asked. “Might not have enough for your whole body but I have enough for the most important areas.”
“I’m okay,” he smiled. Peter stared curiously at her. They had spent over twenty minutes together and she had yet to mention the biggest elephant in the room –she didn’t give any indication that she would do so. “(Y/N), why, uh, why aren't you freaking out?”
“I did. There was visible blood on your face but it’s gone now.”
“No, (Y/N). I’m talking about the whole Spiderman thing,” he pointed. “You’ve barely reacted to the fact that I’m standing before you, dressed as Spiderman, with wounds on my face.”
(Y/N) did something that he had not expected. She laughed. “I’ve known for a while now, Peter,” she said. “You might be quiet and sneaky when you’re out catching bad guys and saving the world, but you leave all your stealthiness in the street. Once you’re home, you tend to make a lot of noise. I saw you one time when I couldn’t sleep. I had been staring out my window trying to find anything to tire my eyes when I saw a flash of red and blue land on the fire escape. Don’t think Spiderman would have too much business with you, so I just assumed.”
“So you saw me… as Spiderman?” Peter confirmed. “And you didn’t say anything.”
“I didn't feel like it was my place,” she shrugged. “I wanted to wait until you trusted me enough to tell me.”
“I do trust you,” he whispered, afraid that she would take his secrecy incorrectly. “I just… I just wanted to keep you separate from all of this. I don’t know what I would do if I put you in danger. I care about you, (Y/N).”
“Oh,” she smiled before she noted the underlying sentiment behind Peter’s brown eyes. “Oh.”
“Yeah, oh,” he chuckled. Peter then tested the waters, standing from the chair and getting closer to her. “I’ve wanted to get closer to you whilst keeping you at arm’s length in order to protect you because I know just how dangerous it is to even be associated with me. All I’ve wanted is to keep you safe.”
“Is it corny to say I can keep myself safe?” (Y/N) chuckled, taking his hands in hers. “I know it’s crazy but anything is worth it if I can… get closer to you.”
“I would never let anything happen to you,” he whispered. “Even if I had to sleep outside your window every night.”
(Y/N) chuckled softly, releasing one of his hands to place a comforting palm on his cheek. “I don’t need your protection, Peter,” she said, her fingers tracing his features. “I need you safe. And well-rested. You look tired.”
“I am,” he confessed with a sigh, closing his eyes at the warmth of her hand. “But, for you, I would never sleep again.”
“I would rather you sleep, Peter,” the girl responded. “Why don’t you lay down for a bit? I’ll get you a shirt and some sweatpants. Wouldn’t want you stumbling around in a Spiderman suit and all exhausted like that.”
“Honestly, I cannot deny that request,” Peter chuckled. “I don’t think I could make it up the fire escape tonight. But, I do want to do something before.”
“What is it?”
“Can I kiss you?” he asked meekly.
“Please,” she breathed.
With a smile, he closed all distance between them and placed his lips onto hers. He reveled in the warmth of her lips, enjoying the softness and plumpness of them. It was everything he had daydreamed of for months on end… except the suit… and the wounds… and the sluggishness. Other than for those things, it was perfect.
“Want me to get those clothes now?” (Y/N) chuckled as they broke the kiss. “I think you should rest for a bit.”
“Only if we can kiss some more after.”
“We can kiss any time you swing by,” she grinned. “I might just keep leaving my window unlocked for you.”

Stuck With Me: Peter Parker x OC
Cute Peter Parker slow burn, less spiderman action more just good ol awkward Parker.
Peter has been in a bad mood all month, but with soon to be divorced parents, trying to figure out what's wrong with him is the last thing Lani needs. Thankfully summer break is here. Lani, Ned, Peter, and MJ set off on the summer vacation road trip to California. Drama ensues
🕸️Chapter 2🕸️
Chapter 1
Master list
•🕷️🕷️🕷️•
He left me on read. He never does that, like ever. My thoughts begin to wander to attempt to make evenly winged eyeliner.
So much for keeping it positive.
Intrusive thoughts pile up in my mind. I'm not dumb enough to really believe that Peter now hates the mere thought of me; but the little "read" under my text makes me anxious all the same.
I being wracking my brain. Thinking of everything I have said to him in the past weeks. I mean maybe I said something to make him upset or did something and just not realize it. But honestly, it only makes me smile as I recall the jokes we cracked and fun we all  have had. Nothing bad is really coming to mind.
My screen is still void of any text notifications.
I check my refection in the mirror, smiling. I usually try to stay positive when it comes to my appearance. And I definitely can't complain of how my butt looks my black maxi skirt. I adjusted my white crop top, making sure the tiny cross stitched spider was visible. After a quick click of my off brand Dock Martins I decided humidity was a virtue and mirror time was over.
It was already 5:15, I didn't feel quiet ready but Ned would be waiting.
~15 minutes later~
"GET IN LOSER WE ARE GOING SHOPPING!" I yell as Ned walks down the apartment stairs.
He gets in the car "Hey."
"Hey." My smile drops and I hope it's subtle. The tone of his voice worried me. Silence between us is uncommon. I squirm a bit in my seat.
Seeing as he isn't going to make conversation, I speak up.
"Did you get the texts from me and Michelle?" I say.
"Yeah, I have no idea what's wrong with him. Maybe we will figure out tonight" he says quickly, shrugs and looks out the window. Silence fills the car again.
I know you can't sound like anything over text, but Ned sounded a lot peppier when we were messaging. What was going on with my friends?
"We should go see a movie after."  I make a lame attempt to kindle a conversation.
Ned seems to perk up a bit at this.
"Yes! The Joker is out!"
I laugh at this, I'd never been much for DC superhero comics. Especially when they are made up. It didn't really make a lot of sense why someone would make up a superhero and a supervillain when there are plenty to choose from that are real. Movie production companies have tried to profit off of rising superhero stars. The movies are never as good as the up close and real action.
I shrug "I'll see whatever you want bubby."
He winces at 'bubby' and goes back to looking out the window.
I feel my face getting hot. Ok mental note, after being called bubby for 3 years Ned now doesn't like it.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MY FRIENDS! Blasts in my mind. My only hope now was that Michelle was normal.
___
To my relief she was. We got to the diner at 6:04, Michelle sitting down at our usual table in the back. We try to sit in the back as to not disturb other customers. Our laughs are usually boisterous and frequent not to mention the cheeky jokes. And all being on the decathlon team, heated arguments or "debates" on some old dudes theories or such tend to heated. But we are high tipping customers so we don't worry about it too much.
"Hey guys surprised to see you have made it here alive." She jokes.
"I don't know where you got that I was a bad driver!" I motion for Ned to take a seat before I slide in next to him.
"Oh I think you know." She winks.
"what?" I look at her, perplexed before she shakes her head.
"Speak of the devil" she said just as Peter walks through the door.
The little bell at the top of the door gives a joyful ring. Peter flinches but his body quickly moved back into its slightly hunched position with a frown on his face. Oh great.
"Hey Peter!" I say as he sits down next to Michelle.
He looks into my eyes and gives a slight smile. But says nothing.
A waiter soon comes around with menus "Can I get you started off with anything to drink?"
"I will have a coke." Michelle starts.
"Same." Peter mumbles.
"Sprite." Says Ned cheerfully.
"Tea for me please and thank you." I say brightly, I had to stay positive. I am with my friends to get away from negativity, not have more of it.
Once the waiter left we all began talking. Peter slowly starts engaging more, and it seems to feel right again. Something about him is definitely off; though that does make me very worried about him, I know now was not the time to ask. I will just do my best to cheer my moody friend up.
I smile, mentally stepping back from the conversation, contentment filled my heart. There is nowhere I would rather be and no group of people I would rather be with. I mean they are the only friends I have...
Good Eats has become a favorite of ours. We started eating here for dinner or after school almost every weekend, for about 3 years now. It was cheap for the quality of simple yet delicious diner food. But it's usually pretty quiet in the evenings— (we learned the hard way to avoid it during the mornings where the line is out the door.) —a steady stream of customers usually taking things to-go. Which I don't get, a big part of this place being great is the aesthetic. It reminds me of a 70s diner and most likely opened then. Yellow booths, a jute box always playing great oldies music, kinda ugly wallpaper, and warm lighting. And the store owner is a really nice guy. He usually brings his grandkids. It's always funny when you get rung up by a 10-year-old or have your water refilled by a 7-year-old. Since we have been coming for so long so often, the owner has a special discount for us "I've got to treat my best customers right!"  he always says I'm pretty sure it's just a %10 student discount. We usually tip as much much as we can.
I snapped back into reality when I heard my name. I didn't really know who it came from.
"What?" I said shacking my head out of the clouds.
"We were asking about the van. Summer break is almost here, when is Caroline gonna be ready?" Ned asks
"Oh right, I would say just in time for school to let out." I say.
We have been planning our summer break since school started this year. It will be our last summer vacation ever, so it had to be epic. I always get excited butterflies from it, but it is usually mixed with dread too. Dread because I know when I get home my parents will be officially divorced. Not that I haven't known this was coming or that it needs to happen. It definitely does, I have a cup bruise on the side of my head to prove it.
No, nope stop! I feel my eyes watering. Internally I let out a big sigh. This summer vacation has to be perfect. I don't know what I will do if it's not.
"Alright let's go over the plans one last time," Peter says.
I smile reaching into my purse, and pull out a small, light pink, piece of paper. 1-10 lists of things we need to do while we are in California. We had decided a beach trip is definitely what we need.
I clear my throat and begin to read.
1. start off at Stark Tower to go over things with Tony such as Hotels, food reservations, and tickets
Did I mention all of this was Peter's early birthday gift from TS himself. We are all pretty jazzed. And by that I mean we about shit our pants when Peter told us.
2. head out across the country stopping at the finest Tony Stark hotels (hotels with penthouse suites that Tony has frequent so much he just straight up bought the hotels.)
3  get to LA and check out our crib
4. beach
5. Disney Land
6. More beach
7. eat at a super fancy restaurant
8. ruins of Mr. Stark's Malibu mansion
9. Santa Monica Pier
10. hike to the Hollywood sign
It was a packed summer for sure, but it had to be the best, it just had to be. My last slice of happiness before I move away with my mom, before I move from Queens to which ever relative my mom decides to move close to. Away from all of my friends, who are more of a family then my real ones. Who have gotten me through so much, stuck by my side through it all. And even feeling upset makes me feel like I'm a monster. I want to support my mom, but I don't want this! I don't want to be away from them. Away...I hate that word.
"You ok La?" Ned asks  his hand rests on my back, lightly rubbing it.
My cheeks grow warm with embarrassment- I was crying. And of course Ned's kind questioning made more tears flow. I quickly wipe my eyes with my sleeve, and give a quick fake smile to my friends. They look concerned, except Peter. He looks almost angry, this made me cry more. Amazing.
"Yeah I'm fine. I-uh-i yawned." I stammer, I yawned wtf, who would believe that?!
"What the hell Lani?! No one's yawns make them cry that much." Michelle said, her voice rose she was almost laughing at the dumb lie that came out of my mouth. But I knew she was just concerned.
Ned quickly drops his hand from my back, my head instinctively turning towards him. He's looking at Peter.
"I'm fine I, I-just." I paused. I had told them about my parents getting a divorce, but not much. More importantly, I hadn't told them I was moving, and I wasn't planning on it till the trip is over. If they knew it would just ruin the whole trip for me. Not to mention I was so scared to even say it out loud, it would just make it seem more real. I tried my hardest to not think about it ever. Yea I know it's is unhealthy, but it's how I'm coping now. Might as well let future Lani deal with it.
"It's just my parents divorce, it's getting close to the last of all the court stuff. I just, can't stop thinking about it." My face continued the hot embarrassed sensation. I felt my under arms tingle and I could feel their eyes in me. My eyes stayed glued on my hands like my left depended on it.
There was a small pause. Oh gosh this is embarrassing.
"Lani, no madder what, you will always have us. We love you." Michelle finally said. Her tender words caught me off guard.
I looked back at her, giving a genuine smile "Thanks, that means a lot."
But the little voice in the back of my mind kept screaming Except they won't always be there for you.
"Are you guys ready to order?" We all jumped a bit as the waiter had finally returned to serve us. She placed each of our drinks in front of us.
After we ordered I had asked if we could just forget I said anything, what I needed was a fun night with my friends. They all agreed and once Ned had brought up The Joker, a new conversation sprung. I was just happy to not discuss anything family related.
___
Once we had all gotten and eaten our food, we decided to head to the movie theater to watch The Joker.
"Ok how about Peter pays for drink, Ned pays for Popcorn, and Lani pays for the tickets?" Michelle suggests as we walk into the theater.
"Um, that's convenient, seeing as you pay for nothing." Said Peter, slightly annoyed "and we should all pay for our own tickets, they are too expensive for Lani to pay for alone."
Michelle give a little snicker before we all decide it was every man for himself/herself.
I walk up to the counter, and smile brightly at the young man at the register. "Four tickets for The Joker, please and thank you."
"Sorry The Joker is sold out." He replies in a monotone voice.
"What?!" Ned exclaimed "but- I just checked online like 5 hours ago."
"Sorry The Joker is sold out" he repeats in the same voice. I don't blame him, he has probably had to say this so many people tonight.
"Hey, guys it's fine we can just pick another movie!" I say trying to lift their spirits.
"It 2 is out." Michelle offers.
Oh no
"Yeah I'm down" says Ned.
Oh no
"Yeah me too" says Peter.
Shit
Three pairs of eyes look at me. I give a sheepish smile. I get scared very easily, they know this, but I'm willing to take one for the team... even if it means I won't sleep for a few da-weeks. "Yes, let's go see It 2" I say in a fake enthusiastic tone.
I turn back to the man at the register "um, four for... It 2 please."
___
The theater is completely empty, which makes it about 1099999373783298xs more scary. It's a pretty popular movie so the rows of seats absent of people makes it feel like the twilight zone. We look around, deciding to sit in the far back.
I see Peter hanging back, walking slowly behind us. Strategically, I begin to slow my pace; slipping behind MJ to sit beside Peter. If there is anything that will distract me from the killer clown, it's Peter. We enter the row and settled in. And Peter grabs my hand.

I shouldn’t have helped
Summary- Ned was happy Peter got a girlfriend but he regrets the time he encouraged Peter to ask her out due to Yn taking up Peters time
Fluff!!
I haven’t wrote in a while and i’m sad so here you go! And this was a quick one so I hope it’s not to bad.
Tumblr media
It was obvious Ned was jealous because of Peters new relationship with Yn.
And of course he’s happy his best friend finally met someone good for him but he can’t help but be upset that she’s taking away their lego building time.
Peter talked about Yn the whole entire time of last semester. And Ned couldn’t help but feel angry that he helped Peter get the girl who took away his bestfriend.
-
“God Ned I can’t do this! She’s totally gonna say no” Ned barely listened to Peter as he was to busy messing with Betty’s hair.
“Listen dude Yn’s cool the worse she can say is no” Peter stood up irritated “That’s literally what i’m afraid of.” Peter huffed walking down the bleachers.
He had eyes on Yn since gym started. It was a hot day out so they went outside for class.
Yn was busy with her friends playing volleyball as Peter slowly made his way over towards her.
He was nervous but why? Yn is a nice girl
As he got closer he kept repeating what he was gonna say until he was right infront of her.
“Hey Peter” she smiled tying her curly hair up in a ponytail.
“H-hey Yn can I talk to you for a second?” Peter felt his whole mouth get dry. And when she sweetly nodded and smiled it felt like he’d been in a dessert for a week straight.
The slipped off onto the large track as he figured out what words to use.
“So what’s up Pete?” she fanned her face from the sun beaming down on her.
“I wanted to talk to you- wait I already said that” he stammered closing his eyes.
“It’s okay… take your time” Yn said grinning at his cute demeanor.
“So i’ve liked you for a long time now. And I was terrified to tell you this and i’m still terrified. I can’t believe i’m saying this. Shit- what was I saying?” Yn giggled making a slight smile appear on Peters face.
“Saying how much you like me” she twisted her fingers too excited at the fact her crush of 3 years is confessing his feelings to her
“Right… Like i was saying I’ve liked you for a while and we’re good friends. So I was wondering if you’d wanna try to be more? Like my girlfriend.” His face was flushed red as Yn wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Of course I’ll be your girlfriend Peter” he laughed due to shock and held her tighter.
Ned cheered from the other side of the track as Betty kissed all over his cheek.
-
And now here’s the couple walking hand in hand in the halls as Ned watched with an eye roll.
“Do you two ever separate” he asked with attitude pushing through them.
“Ned don’t be mad at us that Betty is out of town with her family and you two can’t smooch all day” Ned shook his head holding up his middle finger walking into his classroom.
Yn laughed beside Peter making him smile and kiss her hand.

ok but imagine
Peter Parker is hanging out with Ned and their like building a Lego starship or something and Peter jokingly does a British accent for jokes
like
Peter in a British accent: may the force be with you, Ned.
and Ned just looks at him and goes: that’s not how you do a British accent
and goes back to the Lego starship.
and Peter just kinda looks off into the distance (or at one of the cameras) with a bitch face on and everything.
(Preferably like in the office)

Prom-posal
Fem!Peter Parker x Stark!Reader
Tumblr media
You and Petra both could not believe it. You had proposed to her, and despite everything she had said yes honestly the thought of it still made Petra smile a little more and more.
She found herself screaming in delight while working a shift at the Moondance diner, she was so giddy at the mere thought of it.
Any normal girl would consider herself lucky for the fact that she was marrying a stark meaning that she would want for nothing in the world. Not Petra, she was excited because she was marrying her best friend.
She couldn’t help but squeal in delight. She grabbed Betty’s hand and jumped around in the kitchen. And then her boss, Enrique, had to interrupt.
“Yo! Parker! What’s with the jumpin’ jacks?!” his voice thundered.
“Enrique! I’m engaged!” Petra shouted back, excited as ever.
“Yeah. Yeah we all saw the scene.” the man just went back to the grill.
Petra was beyond excited for her marriage to you.
Meanwhile you were with Harley Keener, trying to begin planning the party and ceremony.
“I screwed up” you said kind of upset.
“How?” the young inventor asked with a smirk, “you’re marrying Petra Parker.”
“I ruined my proposal to my best friend”
“Second best friend!” Harley interrupted jokingly.
“I mean…I proposed to her before she even had our prom.” An idea popped into your head, “prom! I need to make my prom-posal to her even more special!”
“Well don’t over think it. And don’t under think it either” your pal offers. “Who can help us?”
Only one name came to mind: Ned Leeds
Would it qualify as kidnapping as to how you got Ned to help you? Put it simply, you saw him walking down the street after school, grabbed him by the backpack and flew back to the Avengers Tower.
“Mr. (Y/N) Stark, sir” Ned said after landing, “that was bot the most terrifying and awesome experience of my life”
“Ned I need your help” you tried to explain only for Harley to come flying in with Michelle in his arms.
“Dude that was weird” Michelle grumbled.
“I need both of you to help me” you tried to explain, “Petra deserves a prom-posal as awesome as her and I’m clueless”
“Whipped” Michelle said jokingly.
“Petra loves Star Wars! And so do i” Ned said with a little nervousness.
“Okay but why?” Michelle asked
“Because I love her and I screwed up the actual marriage proposal” you answered back
“Why?”
“Because she’s the best thing ever in my life and I-I couldn’t think straight when I saw her smile”
“Why” Michelle giggled
“Are you gonna help me or not?!”
“Yeah sure” she said nonchalantly.
That night Petra swung to her apartment and snuck in thru the window, trying to be as quiet as a mouse…or even a spider.
Then aunt May’s voice broke the silence, “Petra, honey, can you come into the living room?”
Busted. Petra thought to herself. She switched into her favorite pair of sweats and hoodie and walked into her living room.
The stereo was playing ‘Always and Forever’ softly. The whole living room was decorated like the Ewok village from Return of the Jedi.
You stood there with a bouquet of flowers and a small smile on your face. “Hey there Spider Monkey” you said softly.
“Hey you” she answered back.
“Petra, I love you so much” you said, “I know I screwed up my proposal and all but-”
“You didn’t.” She answered back with a giggle. “I thought it was just right. I wanna spend my life with you, (Y/N)”
“I wanna spend my life with you too.” You held up the flowers, “and I want to spend prom with you as well. Will you go to prom with me?”
Petra stood there, tears forming in her eyes. She ran forward and jumped into your arms. “Yes. yes! Yes to everything!” she giggled before kissing you. Somehow each kiss with you felt like the first.
Ned, Harley and Michelle each appeared with their own lightsabers and threw confetti.
“Finally.” Michelle said with a little smile.
“Look at my best friend” Ned said with his own smile. “Do you think Y/N will let me be best man?”
“I called dibs dude!” Harley immediately shouted back.
“How about dude of honor?”
“I’ll allow it.”
Not that you or Petra had noticed the argument. The two of you were so busy, lost in each other, lost in this small, infinite moment of happiness.

"WHAT THE FU-" You hear Peter's voice exclaim a car horn blocking out his profanity, from above you after the very shocking detail you already knew, but it being revealed to the entire Times Square, and most likely the entire world was nerve racking, your heart seeping below your chest at that mere thought.
"That's right folks, Peter Parker." Jameson says as it cuts back to him, saying your boyfriends name as if the picture wasn't already clear enough.
You ignore the murmurs of the people by you, your eyes looking up toward Peter, the back of his masked face meeting your gaze.
"A seventeen year old high school delinquent." He adds to the public. You had tried to listen to a few more of his words, but the citizens that were surrounding you started dragging their attention toward you.
You weren't much of a people person to begin with, which is why it was always hard for you to make friends. Your socially awkward personality only showing once more as the people around you started to pester you with questions related to the spider boy.
"She knows him."
"Are you Spider-Man's girlfriend?"
Questions and statements being thrown into your ear as people tried to gain your attention, tapping on your shoulder, your anxiety rising at the contact and the lack of air you were feeling from being too claustrophobic with how many people were practically suffocating you.
The man who asked if you were Spider-Man's significant other asked you once again, turning you around to face him and some more people who were just as curious.
"I-" You started, helplessly looking around, trying to get the people off of you in fear of the worst. You didn't want you knowing Spider-Man to harm you physically, so you tried your best to push them away without doing much effort.
Thankfully Peter caught onto your silent cry for help, jumping from the lamp post to come in-between you and the big crowd, your anxiety slowly going down now that he was near.
"Yo, it's him!"
"Spider-Man?!"
"Uh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Please don't touch her, sir." Peter warned the people who were jabbing at you, gently squeezing in-between you and the mob of people.
"You're just a kid?"
You give Peter a look, his hand on your shoulder, trying to guide you away from the people as they dazed at the two of you, most throwing insults and what not at your poor boyfriend in disbelief.
"You murdered Mysterio?"
"Um.." Peter trails off, hugging you closer to him.
"Peter..." You start, watching him quickly look at you as the once small crowd turns into a herd of people, swarming you and the boy like you were pieces of meat.
"We should get out of here." You suggested and he quickly nods.
"Come on kid, let me see the face!" A lady says before you two could go anywhere, lunging at him.
Your instinctive protectiveness comes in, you now hugging Peter closer to you away from the lady. Some citizens having a sense of morality, dragging the woman away from the two of you.
You swing a arm around his neck, his going to your waist as you two sprint through the crowd of people that seemed more like a mob waiting outside of a Taylor Swift concert.
"He hit me. Spider-Man hit me!" The same lady exclaims in a bare obvious lie, but you decide to ignore it.
You two swiftly get away from the people, who got crazier by the second, one boy even trying to jump onto the two of you as you now were swinging across the city.
You had momentarily forgotten just how scared of heights you were due to everything that happened in the pass thirty minutes.
"Oh god!" You scream, squeezing your eyes shut as your body was now tightly and hopefully securely wrapped around Peter's as he swung through the city away from the scene that unfolded in Times Square.
You had no idea where you two were going, but you supposed anywhere away from there was good enough, somewhere possibly more quiet where you two could collect your thoughts.
"Peter, where are we going?!" You managed to ask as your heart tightened in your chest with each swing the boy took.
"I don't know, your house?" Peter answered unsurely, he at this point was just aimlessly swinging around.
"No! Definitely not my house, my dad will kill you!" You tell him loudly, your eyes still closed at every word you said, you weren't going to risk letting your fear be just as worst if they were opened.
"What? I thought he was just starting to like me..." Peter replies in defeat.
"Well, not anymore." You scream.
Thankful to all the gods above, you and Peter land at the stable trusses of a bridge. The boy drops you down way too quickly for your liking and you have to fight your balance as to not fall, your boyfriend pulling out his phone to answer it.
"Dude!" You hear Ned yell as soon as Peter answers it.
"Dude!" Peter replies back in the same tone.
"Dude!"
"Dude!"
"Dude!" You say, miserably failing to keep your balance, Peter's attention shooting toward you in a heartbeat.
"Oh, right, sorry!" He sheepishly apologized, running over toward you to help you keep your feet stable.
"Are you okay?" Peter wavers, his question lingering in the air.
"Not at all." You admit for him and yourself.
One being, you were on top of a bridge, failing to keep your balance, your heart probably out of your chest out of fear, and two being because so much has happened in such a short amount of time. You don't think you can handle anything else any longer.
"I'm gonna get us out of here, okay?" He reassures and you nod.
"Yo, Peter!" Someone yells, your heads snapping to a few people in a gondola near the bridge.
A helicopter was soon to be seen, people from apartment buildings that sat outside their balconies watching as well. You wanted nothing more than to get out of here. The attention that you were receiving being too much for your liking.
"We should go." You tell him, already clinging to the boy and bracing yourself for the impact of his swinging.
"Right, yeah we should." Peter agreed, jumping from the trusses and swinging away from the attention, your screams weren't as loud as they were before, you kind of were getting used to it, but your heart dropped to its stomach every time no matter what.
"We're going to take the subway!" Peter yells at you throughout your screaming.
You don't answer as Peter free falls you two into a nearby sewer, his webbing opening it up as you two entered through it.
You could've sworn you saw Flash Thompson for a quick second, but you weren't all too sure.
Once you two entered the subway underneath the city, you opted on piggyback riding your boyfriend, feeling it'd be much more easier for the boy to navigate through the tight space.
"Peter!" You scream at him as a oncoming train approached you both, the spider boy dodging it a mere second later.
It felt like it had been forever when you two finally arrive at the ladder of a sewer exit, watching Peter climb it first before opening the round thing separating you two from New York, and you follow behind him. When you were close enough, Peter reaches out his hand to help you up.
"Thank you." You breathed out, giving your surroundings a quick look over, citizens who were walking the cemented sidewalk glancing at you, and you found it a little ironic how you two were in-front of Delmar's.
"Yeah, yeah, no problem. Are you okay?" Peter asked you as he placed the round covering of the sewer back into place.
"Yeah, I'm okay." You reassure him, once again wrapping your body around his before he swung off, his webbing attaching to a lamp post.
"We're going to go to my place." Peter tells you through the wind.
"Okay!" You yell at him, closing your eyes as you embraced his hold.
Four or five minutes go by as you two swung through the city to Peter's apartment, your eyes remained closed as you felt Peter's breathing at rapid speed, which was understandable given the circumstances of the current situation.
After the five minutes or less of you two swinging, you finally arrive at his bedroom window, the boy sticking to the brick wall next to it as you climb off to open his window.
He helps you inside, and you practically fall in relief onto his bed.
"Oh my god." Peter finally breaks after rushing inside, closing his window.
"Y/N-" Peter starts, your head snapping up to look at him as his hands were on his head, walking back and fourth between his room.
"Peter, it's okay." You try to reassure, but to no avail.
You knew it wasn't going to be okay, but you had no other choice but to say the words both you knew weren't true.
You quickly sit up from his bed, going over toward him, watching the boy press the spider on his suit in defeat, catching half of it before it can fall to the ground.
"It's not okay!" He argued back, snatching his mask off his head and throwing it elsewhere in his room and you place your hands on both sides of his face, trying to calm him down.
"Oh no." He groaned, shaking his head as he leaned into your touch.
"Peter." You say sternly.
"I don't know what to do!" Peter tells you as his hands wavered at your waist, his hands tightly gripping his suit.
"Peter, it's okay, everything going to be okay." You say with a nod just as the door opens, revealing Happy.
You and Peter quickly look over at the man whose face turns pale at the sight of you two.
"Oh, um.." You swallow, cringing at what it seemed like the two of you were doing given the face that Peter was half naked in-front of you, his suit falling from his hands watching Happy try to shut the door.
"I didn't see anything." Happy says, covering his face with his hand.
"Happy, it's not what it looks like!" Peter tries to reassure, your hands swiftly moving from Peter's face to your sides.
Peter's Aunt, who you had heard about comes into the room to see what was going on, her eyes quickly widening in disbelief.
"Oh!" She says, only seeing Peter's half naked body before going to shut the door once again.
"No, May, this is not what it looks like." Peter countered, and you nod in agreement at the inconvenient timing.
"Practice safe se-" May starts and your eyes widen as you furrow your eyebrows at what almost came out her mouth as she stops herself mid sentence.
"Oh, wait. Hi, you must be Y/N!" She says, coming back into the room where you awkwardly stood.
You quickly fix your (MJ's) cardigan, showing the lady, who was effortlessly gorgeous a forced smile as Peter nods before looking at his door.
"It's so nice to meet you, heard a lot about you." May tells you, giving you a friendly hug which you mirrored.
"'S nice to meet you too." You tell her quickly with a tight lipped smile as you two pull away.
You wished you had met the woman on better circumstances. The awkward tension only getting thicker by the second.
"Wait, have you been crying?" Peter asked Happy, who stood at the doorway with dried tears and a puffy face.
You tilt your head curiously, but quickly dismiss them looking over your boyfriend's room, having not been in here before.
He was a nerd for sure, a lot of dorky things decorated his room, things MJ would probably had made fun of him for.
"We broke up." The older man says shyly, peaking through the doorway.
"Oh." Peter says bewilderedly, you give his Aunt a look as she cringed sheepishly at his words.
"Hey, Spider-Man!" A man exclaimed through the window, and your mind trails back to why you really were here in the first place.
"Oh, uh.." The boy says in surprise, using his web shooters to close the blind of his window.
You notice a shirt laying on his bed, grabbing it quickly just as the light outside dims now that the blinds blocks the glaring sun from peaking in, as well as the people who for sure seen you two enter his apartment window.
You give a lazy smile to Happy, holding out the white T-shirt in-front of Peter, helping the boy into it quickly, hearing him mutter a 'Thank you'.
You catch glimpse at the "I survived my trip to New-York" graphic as Peter rushes May further into his apartment and away from his bedroom.
"I didn't know you guys broke up." He says as you trail behind the two of them, shutting his bedroom door.
"I thought you were in love, May." Peter quizzed bewilderedly.
"We can talk about this in the kitchen." He says, putting a reassuring arm over her shoulder as he walked her to their kitchen space.
Your phone buzzed in your skirt pocket, as you and Happy linger behind Peter and May as the boy confronted his aunt about her relationship issues.
You were just about to pull out the device, but a different kind of buzzing grabs your attention.
"Is that the door?" The man next to you asked, his gaze wandering over to the front door that was left open.
You quickly go to shut it as a neighbour stood in-front of it, asking all sorts of questions he most likely wasn't getting his answers to anytime soon.
"Nope!" You say, shutting the door into his face, before pulling out your phone.
There was six missed calls from your dad and a text message from your sister, telling you to call her with a few emojis that you deciphered to be related to what was currently going on.
You unlock your phone going to your contacts to call MJ.
After a few rings, you hear her pick up.
"Oh my god, Y/N are you okay? Have you seen the news?" MJ practically exclaims from the other end of the phone.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm at Peter's right now, it's really crazy." You tell her, keeping your voice down as you absentmindly wandered to the kitchen.
There was so much to be said, but you figured you'd wait till you got home to tell your sister exactly what happened, but you had a feeling you didn't need to given that she was there with you every step of the way and most likely seen the news or she wouldn't had been calling to ask.
"Is Peter okay?" She questioned.
You had no idea if you should answer that truthfully, with a half truth, or just lie instead. No one but Peter knows if he's actually okay, but you knew he wasn't okay with anything that was going on. To be fair, there were more ways she could be indicating the question, but you were lost at this point.
"I don't know, I-" You start, watching your boyfriend helplessly close the blinds in the living room as May and Happy now sat down in-front of the TV from the couch.
"Can you please get off your phones for five minutes. I just wanna talk to you about your relationship, okay?" Peter countered to the two adults as the background of the news channel played behind him, and your eyes widen as you adjust your gaze to recognize the building.
"MJ, let me call you back." You, hanging up the phone before she could say anything.
"Peter."Your voice says before your mind can register, pointing behind him after gaining his attention.
He turns around to look at the source of his TV, a few helicopters swarming around his apartment building, making their way over to one of the living room windows.
"Is that here?" Happy asked, his voice laced with a skeptic tone.
Peter seemed to be at a lost for his words, not knowing what to say as he stutters out a proper response, tilting his head down in defeat before shamelessly walking toward the window he had closed with his web shooters, opening it up to reveal the outside world he tried to shield them from.
May, Happy, and yourself walk over to the small window, curious to see just how bad the damage really was.
You stand next to your boyfriend, sharing a look with him as Happy and May look outside of the apartment place in utter disbelief.
"Wha-" May starts, but cuts herself off as a few pedestrians below yell out Peter's name, looking up to the window where the helicopters were aimed at.
"I mean, maybe it's not so bad?" Peter shrugged hopefully, his Aunt shooting him a worried look.
You were glad she was less mad and more worried.
You on the other hand, a shaking anxious mess, still recovering from the many people that lingered around you, and the amount of swinging you swore you'd never do again still crawling over your body. You had no idea how bad things would get from here on out.
Tumblr media
"Spider-Menace!" Jameson exclaims from the TV in your living room. You could almost roll your eyes at his dramatics.
After the fiasco that took place at Peter's house, he and his Aunt figured it be best to take you home, as they tried to figure out what to do with the boy's identity being revealed to the whole wide world.
As soon as you get home you were bombarded with questions from your dad, who was more worried than mad at you for being with Peter. He was surprisingly understanding with the situation, but he never liked Spider-Man to begin with so you knew that after the situation died down, he'd dislike Peter more than he did before after finding out about his second identity.
MJ on the other hand already knew exactly how you were feeling. Her mind was racing with thoughts, thoughts only she knew you'd understand. There was nothing the two of you could do but hope for the best out of this situation.
"Governments around the world launch investigations into the murderer known as Spider-Man, aka Peter Parker, aka the web headed war criminal, who for years, has been terrorizing  the decent citizens of New York." The bias anchor exaggerates, and you let out a scoff from where you sat next to MJ, both you now cladding your pyjamas after a long day, well, long day for you at least.
Your heart only drops at the digital news paper that had, you, Peter, MJ, and Ned's face plastered on the front cover, the title saying "Peter's cronies revealed", before cutting to different digital magazines, and a brief footage of some jerk throwing slime onto Peter's suit.
"Well, now this city and the world see him for what he truly is."
You tune out the TV, sharing a look with MJ as your dad divides nothing but his full attention toward the TV. You feared he'd force you to break up with Peter, and you didn't want that one bit.
All three of your gazes break from the TV as a loud and obnoxious knock goes at your door.
Your dad quickly stands up from his spot from the couch, going over to the door, opening it to reveal a few agents, and a another one, holding a badge out.
You and MJ go to the door, lingering behind your father.
"Mr. Jones?" The guy asked, his voice stern.
"Yeah?" Your dad confirms with slow nod.
"We're the Department of Damage Control." The agent says, and MJ shoots you a look, and you shake your head quickly.
"Dad-" You start, but the agent cuts you off.
"We have a warrant for the arrest of your two daughters, Michelle Jones-Watson, and Y/N Jones-Watson." The man tells him, closing his badge before shoving it into his pocket.
"Arrest?" You father's eyes widen in disbelief, looking behind him at the two of you as your face falls in fear, MJ taking ahold of your hand.
"We just want to ask them a few questions, we promise to bring them back as soon as we're done." The Agent reassures, not sounding convincing at all.
Your father ponders, also not trusting the agent, but what was he to do? He couldn't refuse, but he also didn't want the two of you to face any charges or dangerous consequences.
"If you refuse, we will arrest you as well." He adds nonchalantly.
Your dad lets out a defeated sigh, giving you two an apologetic look, and you shrug sadly, your dad moving to the side to hesitantly let the agents inside.
Tumblr media
You and MJ had arrived at the Damage Control's building after arguing with the agents to at least let you two change out of your pyjamas, wanting to look decent if you were about to get interrogated for no absolute reason.
Once you enter the building, a few of the agents lead you two to a investigation room you presumed, and at some point before you entered the building, May and Ned had joined you two as they guided you inside.
Your eyes quickly widen, seeing a familiar head set of brown curls inside an interrogation room, his face filled with worry.
"Peter!" You exclaim, the agents now quickening their pace behind you, slightly pushing you, your sister, Ned and Peter's Aunt away from him.
"Y/N!" Peter's muffled voice responds back from behind the glass.
He points to the four of you, saying something you couldn't quite catch, his gaze now on the agent standing above him.
You didn't want Peter to say anything he shouldn't say, hoping his smart personality had a chance to play through as he was interrogated by the man above him. You only hoped he didn't say anything he wasn't supposed to say already.
"Don't say anything without a lawyer!" You shout at him, May and MJ mirroring your words at the same time. You weren't expecting it, but happy they both had the right mindset you had as well.
Tumblr media
When you four had made it into the further part of the building into more interrogation rooms, Ned and May were separated into two rooms by themselves, and you and your sister (mainly just her) told the agents you weren't going to say or admit anything to the them if you weren't by each-other's side.
They were reluctant at first, but when you two put your foot down once more, they gave in and put the two of you in the same room.
A few minutes had went by before the agent, whose name was Clearly, comes inside the room, you two expectingly waiting in boredom.
The agent sits down without saying a word, opening up one of the two files that sat in his hand, you glance at it, realizing it was your file, and you cringe subconsciously.
"We want a lawyer." MJ tells Agent Clearly, as he settles down, you break your gaze away from the file and up at the man.
"Mses. Jones-Watson-" The agent starts, but you cut him, shaking your head in disapproval at this address in-correction.
"Jones, we don't go by Watson." You quickly say, your sister giving you a nod from your peripheral vision.
He nods in understanding before clearing his throat.
"Mses, Jones, why do you want a lawyer if-" The agent starts.
"If we have nothing to hide?" You cut him off with a raised eyebrow.
"Exactly, Unless-" Agent Clearly starts as he raises both his eyebrows expectingly looking in-between the both of you.
"We're actually guilty of something?" MJ adds, cutting him off as well, the agent letting out a low impressed hum.
"We are very aware of your tactics and our rights." Your sister informs, she nudges your shoulder, gesturing her head at the false mirror next to you.
There was most likely someone on the other side who could see you through the window that's behind the so called mirror. You watched enough true crimes to know all that you needed already.
You and MJ wave at the person who was listening behind the 'mirror'.
"Just answer my questions." The agent sighed, you could feel his annoyed energy radiating off him.
"I've seen your files. You both are smart, young women with bright futures ahead of you." He informed the two of you, and your gaze slowly turned back to the man in question.
MJ poked her tongue against the inside of her cheek, also glaring at the man who really tried to break through the two of you, but to no avail.
"Why would you risk it all by getting involved with a vigilante like Peter Parker?" Agent Clearly asked the two of you, but he shifts his gaze to you after he finished.
You wouldn't give him the satisfactory of an answer, sharing a look with MJ, who shrugs, and you look back at the agent who was probably awaiting for your answer(s).
After a few heartbeats of silence, the man sighs in defeat, shaking his head before looking over at the false mirror, gesturing for the person behind it to dismiss the interrogation. He slowly gets up from his seat, collecting the files as you and your sister remain silent.
"Let me know when you're ready to answer my questions." The agent says, leaving the room hesitantly.
You were already facing trouble, no sense in causing more.
Tumblr media
As promised, later that night you and MJ arrive back at your apartment. Your dad was sound asleep in the living room and you didn't want to wake him, the TV being the comfort background noise for his sleeping figure.
"Hey..." MJ says, breaking your gaze from your sleeping dad, and you turn to face her with raised eyebrows.
"We'll get through this." She says after you meet her brown eyed stare.
You nod, swallowing the lump you fought so hard against throughout the day down your throat.
"I know." You tell her, going in for a hug, which she reciprocates.
You two pull away after a minute of just embracing each-other. You were glad you had someone to go through this with, and you were also glad Peter had you as well. You knew this was the toughest on him and you would do anything to be with him right now, hoping you could make him feel better, feel safer, but you knew your dad would probably limit your hang out time with the boy.
Peter needed you just as much as you needed him. You knew he would get through this, he was the strongest person you knew.

want you in my bloodline
(any peter parker x fem!reader)
summary: peter gets more far away from you...
contents: angst, loneliness, extortion, love confessions, fluff, happy ending !!
  . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆
everyone can tell. everyone in the room can. peter and you have always been friends since the peak of dawn and everyone can tell there might be something more if they look into it.
even ned knows.
it's always have been you and peter with an additional ned leeds.
but lately he has been getting distant from you. it started when he cancelled your pizza night for the first time in his lifetime. after that things just crumbled side to side.
"hey pete," you waved at him but he barely looked up at his phone. seemingly interested in the news article about spiderman. he didn't even look up to greet you.
"hm?" was all you got.
"do you want to reschedule our pizza night to tonight?" you asked hoping for a 'yes'. "it's just that- i feel like this is our tradition and we should never broke traditions... right?"
peter thought for a while, his eyes darting up and down, "i don't think i can make it. sorry, dove," he replied, eyes still focused on the screen.
"tis alright," you nod your head. "i've to go, see you."
you received no reply.
"is there something wrong with you and pete?" ned asked, eyeing you weirdly.
"i don't know," you shrugged, sadness overcoming your heart.
"peter's been absent lately. i thought he was with you but then you told he wasn't," he stopped to think for a while, "what do you think he's doing? i doubt peter has friends outside of us."
you chuckled airily at him. "that's a bit mean, don't you think?" then you heard voices. a voice that's familiar and a voice of a girl.
there he was, standing right outside the cafeteria. peter was talking happily with gwen, the most beautiful girl in school.
"hey y/n!" peter said while skipping to your table. "haven't seen you around ned! how're you? how's lola doing?"
"i think you would know how she is if you actually pay attention to us," you whispered.
"what's with you?" peter asked, seemingly offended.
"you barely talk to us anymore, and when you do, you're distracted."
"that's not true!"
"well, if that's the case then you would know that lola just got a new couch in her attic and we asked you to help us set it but- you know the answer."
"i'm busy alright?" he said. "ned are you hearing this right now?"
"i agree with y/n. honestly, i feel a lot more closer to y/n these past few weeks rather than to you. you have been missing out on the fun stuff we've done," ned talked giddily.
peter frowns at his statement. never once has ned ever been closer to you than he is in the three years of friendship. you and him are inseparable since elementary school.
somehow peter felt unwell. he shouldn't be jealous of his best friend for spending time with you without him but he is.
"i'm going to get groceries after school, can you guys come with me?" ned asked.
"i'm busy, sorry," he just said, opening his lunch.
seeing ned's expression fell, you spoke up, "i'll go with you, ned. i want to buy a baguette." you said the last part with a laugh.
ned snorted too, making peter confused. you two have an inside joke now? oh he is definitely jealous. "you know what? maybe i can come."
the three of you walked together for the first time in a while. in the middle of shopping, peter's phone rang, making you look at him reluctantly. you can see gwen's name on his screen, making your heart sink once more.
"i'll be back," then he is gone. when he did come back it's just to say that he has to go.
lately he's been spending a lot more time with gwen than you. or even ned. if anything, you're happy that peter finally found someone so perfect and kindhearted because he deserves it the most.
most importantly, you're going to be a supportive friend. you're not going to let your silly feelings for him ruin his relationship with gwen. nor anyone else.
you walked home alone, freezing from the cold breeze. usually peter is by your side, hugging you as you walk to keep you warm. he isn't though. not tonight. maybe never again.
the sight of peter and gwen walking down the stairs sent you crushing. he seemed happier with her than with you.
even gwen herself has flirted with him multiple times, though peter never noticed it because he is oblivious to his surroundings. oblivious to your loneliness.
"wait, correct me if i'm wrong- but aren't you and y/n a thing? i've seen you both everyday together and i don't want to interrupt," gwen said to peter one day.
hearing this in real life, peter seemed to be absent from reality. he did in fact, knows how he feels about you and maybe by chance he knows how you feel about him too but he will always deny it. even may spoke about this for a few times.
"oh no- er- me and y/n are-," he paused trying to find the right word, "we're best friends. she is my best friend since forever."
"are you sure there's nothing more?"
yes gwen, there is something more but a freaking radioactive spider has bitten me so now my chance has completely dropped to zero. and i don't even know if she feels the same for me. it's very complicated and confusing and it's been killing me slowly fo-
"i think that silence answered my question," gwen giggled, patting him on his shoulder. "just don't mess things up. i don't know her but i know her well enough to know that she is golden."
just like that, gwen walked away, leaving peter in a daze.
you watched the interaction from afar. you saw how peter was stunned after the fact that gwen patted his shoulder. it had you thinking of how many times you have touched him and how he didn't even react to it.
you decided to have a stroll outside your house, just around the neighbourhood to clear your mind off of things- peter things.
you absolutely despises yourself for letting him make you sad. you planned to get over this immaturity you have starting from tonight.
right when you turn along the sidewalk, a man pulled you right against a wall by your neck. "give me that wallet!" he threatened, pulling a knife from his pocket.
"please leave me alone! i'm as broke and lonely as you are!" you cried out.
the man laughs. "you are one-" he didn't get to finish your question as for you had punched him as hard as you can.
"you're gonna pay that back!" he launched at you but something tripped him down. it seemed like a spider web did.
"oh my god," you whispered, blinking away tears as you look at the man laying face down on the cement.
"are you okay?" another man walked towards you. it was dark so you didn't know it was spider-man until he was in front of you.
"don't touch me!" you yelled, backing away from him.
"i'm not going to hurt you! i'm spider-man," he assured you. "please answer my question, are you okay?"
"i guess i am," you answered, "uh thank you for that."
"no problem. it's my duty to keep the citizens of new york safe," he replied confidently.
the robber almost stabbed spider-man's back but thanks to his quick reflexes, spider-man was able to doge the knife away, sending it flying to the ground.
"i always thought robbers should be smarter if they want to harm a person," spider-man said cockily. "i mean like- man come on! i have the spider senses- your people should grow some brains!" he said as he webbed him to a wall.
"i have some recommendations to make you smarter! first you should eat vegetables. i assume you don't really eat them by looking at your crocodile textured skin. fish and berries are also really good for brain cells!"
"alright shut up you insect!" the man growled, kicking the web uselessly. "i get it! just call the police already! jesus, a superhero should learn to not be annoying."
"the police are already here. au revoir!" spider-man saluted to the police that has arrived on the crime scene.
spider-man looked around to find you standing in the sidewalk with a confused and traumatised expression. peter wants nothing more than to pull you right in between his arms and comfort you, but he isn't peter tonight, he's spider-man.
"hey miss, i can take you back home, just tell me your building and we'll fly to it with my webs," he offered gently.
"it's not far from here. i'd just walk, thanks," you replied.
"right then i'll walk with you, just making sure you get home safe," he smiled through his mask.
"no, you go back to your duties, i'm fine," you said tiredly. spider-man's voice sounds familiar to you and you don't want to hear it more so you started to walk away.
"the city is calm tonight, other than that," he walked right beside you.
"congratulations?"
"er thanks," he said unsurely. "why are you walking alone at night anyway? it's not worth it, y'know."
"i know. every now and then there's always news about- stuff," you huffed. "just want to clear my mind is all."
"off of what?" he asked curiously.
"that's a bit personal spidey," you poked his side. "here's my home, goodbye!"
"bye," he said back. as he walked away from your porch, the conversation between him and gwen replayed in his mind again and again.
to be real, being away from you has been the most difficult. he knows he has to make things right. god knows what will happen if this goes on for a long time.
"pete, you and y/n seemed a bit... off," ned said, side eyeing him.
"i know," peter sighed.
"i think she likes you and you've been spending time with another girl lately, it's sad to see my best friend sad," ned continued, "i tried to cheer her up the other day. i gave her flowers, don't know that helps or not."
"you gave her what now?" peter yelled, wide eyed, making the people around looked at him. "sorry. but what the hell ned? you just said that she likes me but the next second you gave her flowers?"
"it's not from me pete," ned scoffed. "lola just planted tulips in our balcony and told me to give y/n some because it's getting crowded in the pot."
"oh right- my bad," peter replied, embarrassed. "what should i do?"
"you like her right?"
"yes.. i mean- who doesn't? she is perfect to me in every ways and i don't know what i'm going to do with myself."
"tell her how you feel. easy."
"oh really? was it easy for you to tell betty how you feel?"
"well no," ned considered, "but you and y/n are best friends. you know each other more than anyone!"
"that's exactly why! we are best friends."
"look here pete, i'm not the best at love advices or let alone basic advices, but take this to consideration. tell her how you feel! it's better to get the answers directly from her rather than figuring it out yourself which most likely be confusing and frustrating your own heart. give her flowers, she seemed to like those tulips i gave."
peter stood silent for a moment, nodding his head slowly. "right. you're right ned! this is why you're my best friend! thank you! i better get going now."
peter left running to a flower shop nearby, buying you a bunch of different types of flowers. asking the owner of what each of them symbolises. then he ran to your place.
you heard a soft tap in your window, thinking it was a bird so you continued doing your homework. but the tapping continued, making you groan.
you opened the curtain to see peter there, with a bouquet of messy flowers in his hand. "what are you doing here?"
"um here," he pushed the flower towards you. "it's for you, sorry it's kinda ruined- it's windy outside."
"thank you," you set the flowers down on your desk. "i don't think it's windy though," you said as you look comically at the trees outside, not even a leaf moved.
"well that doesn't matter, i want to er tell you," he gulped. "something."
"okay, come here," you signed for him to sit on the bed besides you.
"i'm sorry, for everything i've done. didn't do- more specifically," he held his head in shame. "i miss you, y/n."
"same, pete," you smiled.
"i don't know how say this but i don't want us to be like this anymore. i don't want to miss our pizza nights anymore. i look back and regret how i spent most of my time without you these past few weeks. this just made me realise how important you are in my life and i don't want to ever let you slip away."
he looked sad. you wanted to hug him and tell him that it's okay but you silently urged him to continue anyway because it was his fault.
"i've been a horrible friend. i know. from now on i will be the best version of myself for you because you deserve the best versions of everything. i want to laugh with you and cry with you and also do silly things together- because i know you will never make fun of me for that. i want to hold your hand while we watch star wars together. i want to build lego spaceships together.
i want to take you out on dates. i want to take you on top of the empire state building because the view there is amazing and i want you to see it. i want to do everything- possible or impossible- as long as you're there. i want to make you happy. lastly, i want us to be something more. i want to do those stuff not as friends but as something more. i'm in love with you, and always have but i'm just too afraid to say it.
if you don't feel the same way that's completely fine and i will respect your decision and we will continue to be best friends and we will ignore everything i said earlier. i just want an answer to a question i've been searching for since grade seven."
"i thought you and gwen were something," you spoke.
"no! absolutely not! she is pretty and i always respect people's different opinions and what not but you are the only one for me. in my universe there's no one else except you," peter declared.
"that's really sweet," you chuckled, wiping tears away. "i feel the same pete, i want to do all of those stuff with you. i love you too,"
"okay-" he took a deep breath, steadying himself. "um come here, i miss you," he opened his arms for you. you reluctantly gave in.
"sorry for making you feel neglected. i promise gwen and i are just friends. i talk to her often because of the internship at oscorp. don't worry yourself okay?" he whispered to you.
"just felt sad that you prefer her over me but it's alright. i was being stupid."
"don't say that. you are not stupid. after all these years you have live, you have never been stupid once. don't invalidate your feelings- i would feel the same too. speaking of that- what is that baguette thing you have with ned," you can practically feel his frown.
you chuckled, letting go of him. "me and ned were walking down to an ice cream parlour when a man got slapped by his daughter with a baguette. you should've been there, it was so funny."
"i wish i were there to see that," peter chuckled.
then silent grew between you. it was comforting though- well, at least to you. peter was still unsure whether you said you felt the same way about him or he just hallucinated it.
"wait- please forgive me if i'm wrong but you said you felt the same way about me right?" he said, growing nervous as his cheeks grew maroon.
"i did, yes," you looked up at him, smiling.
"let's say we're in a book- or in a movie," he paused. "isn't this the part where we-"
"we what, peter?"
"we do-" he squeezed his eyes, not knowing how to say it without sounding too embarrassed.
"kiss?" you inquired.
"yeah, that," he laughed nervously.
"um sure," you nodded.
"okay erm-" he now turned fully to you. meeting your eyes. "sorry i've never done this before," he placed a hand on your cheek.
"me neither," you whispered.
"we're both equal then," he grinned. slowly but surely, peter leaned to you. it's nothing like you're ever imagined. it was hesitant and nervous though very tender and soft.
you placed your hand on the back of his neck, trying to make it more comfortable. "we're amateurs," you pulled back slightly, grinning.
"yes but i would love to learn how to do it better," he replied. "let's practice together yeah?"
"you're a nerd," you said, rolling your eyes.
"who cares if i'm a nerd? even a nerd can get a girl like you so i'm not complaining!"
then he kissed you for the second time. this time, it was different. he's not shy and you were not nervous anymore. it was gentle and sweet. he pulled you to him, wrapping both of his arms around you while yours were in his fluffy hair. you felt him shivering when you ran your fingers through his hair, making you giggle quietly.
"i have one more thing to tell you. please promise to keep this a secret alright?" he said once you were out of breath.
"mhm sure what is it?"
"i'm spider-man."
"you are?"
"...yes"
"there's nothing i can do about it rather than to tell you to please be safe. please."
"always. as long as i can come back and see your smile, i always will."

Summary: you didn't expect you'd be pulled into a verse where there is no Avenger, no Peter, and no Ned.
Pairing: Miles Morales x (half filo) Stark!reader
Warning: cursing in Tagalog, xreader, black hole
Author's note: I love the idea of the reader being Filipino sooo, I just felt like making her a Stark because Tony bangs everyone he wants and also this is gonna be a series.
Part two
Tumblr media
You and Ned walked together while Peter walk ahead the both of you. Peter was rambling something about the star wars lore and sometimes inserted MJ throughout his rambling. You didn't listen, you were looking above the clouds, however, Ned listened intensely.
Peter abruptly stopped, making you and Ned bummed into his back "What the hell dude-" your eyes landed on MJ in front of Peter, which made you smirk as you avert your eyes at Ned.
"You know what I'm thinking?"
Ned looked skeptical for a moment "Uhh, you're about to steal Mr. Starks credit card and then you'll buy me a whole set of lego?" You stifle a laugh "No, idiot but yes I'll think about that" Ned made a fist bump in the air followed by a loud whisper of yes.
You cleared your throat loudly, catching Mj's attention "Peter! Weren't you talking about how gorgeous, magnificent, creative, and may I add, Beautiful, M-" You were cut off when Peter jab you on the side making you curl up into a ball.
"Shut up!" He whispered in a panicked tone. "Ned help me.." you said in a dramatic strained way while Peter strangled you like there is no tomorrow.
Mj who was on her way to work, contemplated whether to just walk straight away and pretend nothing happened or to help her suffocating friend. She chose the latter.
"Peter, I would much appreciate it if you let go of the dog you're choking" Peter immediately let go of you, and you made another loud exaggerated gasp, which Ned found Funny because it sounds like Peter when he found out you were Tony Starks daughter.
"Potangina-"(son of a bitch) Peter nudge you again this time gently, you glared at him and then looked at Mj with a huge grin "Hey there, babygurl!" Mj sigh at the nickname but said nothing about it.
You put both of your hands on Peter's shoulder pushing him towards Mj until there is little to no space "Pete here, wanted to accompany you to your, humble work thing, Right Peter?" Before Peter gets to protest Mj interjected.
"Yeah sure, how bout you and Ned?"
"Oh, we're just about..to..." You looked around for an excuse "We're helping Ned's Lola! Right, Ned?"
"We are?" You nudge him on his arm making him hiss "Play along" you whispered yell "O-oh yes actually! Her back is hurting lately s-so.." without a word you grabbed Ned's arms and sprung away.
You cheekily did a fistbump together "I'm so getting you that Lego set" you laughed while Ned gushed like a teenager in love.
You felt your phone buzz in your pocket so you check who it was, it was your dad calling. You groaned in annoyance, halting on your steps as Ned did the same waiting for you.
"What does he want now.." you muttered before answering "Hello Pa?" You heard your dad hum "You don't sound so happy hearing your dad, sweetpie"
You rolled your eyes "What do you want, Dad?" Tony once again hummed "No 'I love you Dad' first?"
"Dad-"
"say it."
You whined, you covered your phone, and looked at Ned "Ned go wait for me at the store-" You were cut off by your dad's piercing voice. "No, let Ned hear it"
"I'll just go.." Ned tried to interject "stay." Your dad once again said. Ned went still like a brick.
"Fine....I love you, Dad...ano? masaya kana?" (what? Are you happy now?) Ned quietly but failed, laughed at your suffering you gave him a hard glare. "Very much, dear" your dad chuckled in satisfaction.
"What is it that you want, anyways?" You impatiently asked, "Calm down, the wizard man needs help, I'm too lazy, so go and help him for me, alright dear?" He said over the phone, you grumbled "But dad, I have things to do-"
Your dad hummed seemingly not caring "Uh-huh, and I don't care. Now go, love you sweetchecks bye" he ended the call before you even got the chance to reply.
"So you need to be elsewhere?" Ned asked, as both of you continued walking "I'm so sorry Ned" you apologize sincerely. You felt guilty, Ned and you had been friends for a long time, he's the only one who understood you when you moved to New York, since him being Filipino and you being half, he could relate to a certain extent.
It's not like you couldn't speak English, you were quite decent and it improved throughout the year, and you didn't fit in so when Peter and Ned came into the picture, you felt at ease they felt like home.
"It's alright, but the next weekend, y/n. You can't miss it" he seriously said. You laughed "Of course Ned, I wouldn't miss it for the world" You bid your farewells, you took the train which was quite ironic when you can technically just swing from building to building.
__
"Hey, there wizard queen" Stephen sigh knowing who that annoying voice belongs to "Your dad sent you instead of him, classic." His monotone voice echoed through each corner of the room which always amused you because everywhere this man goes, there is always an echo. As you inch your way towards him he stopped you.
"What?" You looked at him weirdly "There's this thing bugging the quantum realm, I think someone interfering with it." You raised a brow "How is that possible, Mr. Ozzie?" The nicknames always tick him off every time you say it.
"The nickname you're giving doesn't even make sense" he quizzically said.
"Yes, it does" you defended your stan. He looked at you expectedly, waiting for an answer "It's the Wizard of Oz"
It was quiet for a moment.
"you know what? I'm not gonna argue with your stupid nicknames, stop it with this wizard shit. I'm a sorcerer, there's a deference" You were about to argue but he sounds agitated "Besides, we got some serious pressing matter..." He trailed off, focusing on a book that just automatically flips on its own. It always amazes you how magic could work.
"What is wrong, exactly?" You finally asked. "Someone is trying to make some sort of passage through every multiverse, and it's not just a normal passage, it's a black hole and if created it can potentially-"
"Collapse the space-time continuum.." you pieced out everything, while looking around, not meeting Stephen's eyes. You didn't know what to feel at that moment. Nothing felt right since you woke this morning, maybe that was the reason why.
"We need Dad for this" You picked up your phone from your pocket and dialed your dad's number, it was ringing when suddenly you felt the ground shaking.
"Mr. Strange, what's going on?" Your looked at him wide-eyed, while he tried to do some kind of spell to stop the shaking but it didn't.
You heard your dad's voice on the phone, making you snap out of your focused state "Can't talk right now, sweetheart. I'm currently at the.." your dad's voice became muffled as your eyes landed on a black spot that was currently forming on the ceiling and it was glitching.
Stephen tried to conceal it but to no avail, it only sucked his magic in "Y/n! Get away from here!" He shouted across the room.
"But what about you!?"
"It's not trying to get me, it's trying to get you!" He shouted but this time it was much louder, Tony heard this "Sweetheart what's going on?" He asked worriedly, he could hear the wind blowing loudly on the phone so everything was just muffled.
"dad...I think this is the last time I'm ever gonna be able to talk to you" you finally said after a few beats of silence. Stephen desperately tried to conceal the portal as best as he could to give you the time to run, but even if you could run, it will still suck you up nonetheless.
"What are you talking about?" Tony's voice grew shaky, as he started to put on his suit. "Dad, what I'm seeing right now is stranger than Dr. Strange's name" you chuckled.
Tony paid no mind to his daughter's questionable humor and started to flee from whatever meeting he was in.
"I love you, Dad." He heard Stephen scream your name and then the line ended. Tony's breathing stopped he was utterly blank, if his suit wasn't in control he would have crashed right there and then.
You felt like you'd been tossed around like a ragged doll, with all the blinding colors coming your way. Your stomach churned feeling all your food coming back to your throat.
You screamed for what felt like ages; using your weebs to shoot everywhere, trying to find a wall or anything to stick your weebs with, but found absolutely nothing.
Suddenly you hit the ground rather harshly. You groaned, looking up, the city's blinding lights disturbed your peripheral vision. You had a gut-splitting headache making you wince when you sat up immediately.
"Anak ng- where am I?" (son of a-) You looked around once you adjusted to the familiar yet unfamiliar city. This was New York but not your New York.
You started to panic and started to rephrase the previous events "o-okay, so I got sucked into a black hole- wait aren't I supposed to be dead?" You asked yourself, and then you groaned in embarrassment "I said 'I love you' to Dad, thinking I'm gonna be pulled to shred, god this is so embarrassing!"
"Manhattan! I need to go to Manhattan...maybe the Avenger's Tower is still there." Judging by the place it looked like Brooklyn, you prayed to god that the tower is still there, that your dad is waiting for you to come home.
Before you even got time to swing another portal opened at the other building making you squint your eyes. You saw a silhouette drop gracefully making you feel stupid from earlier.
You swing to that said building but as you came nearer you felt your spidey senses act up. You halted as the person in front of you looked wide-eyed in your direction.
"Who are you?" Her voice was above a whisper, you scrunch your nose.
"what? Speak up, babe"
"I said, who are you?" Her voice became louder, and she sat up from her previous awesome posture and started walking towards you "I'm Gwen Stacy" she said.
"Oh, Y/n Stark" Gwen had her mask on while you didn't "So you're spider woman? I thought I was the only one"
"Me neither" she replied with an airy sigh, looking around her with a sense of familiarity "This is not New York" She looked at you for answers but you were just as confused as she is.
"It is, but different from where you came from" it was silence for a while "What do we do?" She asked.
"We get married and just live here" you proposed as a growing smirk started to form on your lips.
"Give me a better option" she replied almost immediately. You gaped at her "anyone would be so lucky to marry me"
"Unlucky" she corrected "but you barely know me! How could you know" you argued back. "exactly."
She got you with that one. The pair of you started to swing building to building "Where are we-" you dodge a pose "going?" Gwen sighed, she seemed distant but that didn't stop you "I'm going to this academy thing, because that's what my spidey senses want" she shouted through the air so you could hear.
"Your tingly thing? I had one too!" Gwen raised a brow, not replying to the comment as she continued to swing every building.
"You know it's dangerous going around, not wearing a mask, you know that right?" Gwen did a flip through mid-air making you do the same cause you built like that.
"Who needs em? When they got me as their gorgeous sight!" the pair of you continued along your journey to find this so-called academy, although you don't know how both of you can enter but you just left that problem to Gwen.

our little secret

peter Parker x crush!reader -- ned Leeds x platonic!reader
summary: only ned knows about y/n's crush on peter, and Peter's crush on y/n. they all decide to hangout for an annual lego build.
word count: not alot
*ੈ✩‧₊˚*ੈ✩‧₊˚*ੈ✩‧₊˚*ੈ✩
the day started off normal, darting from class to class stopping by and saying hi to your best friends when you had the chance.
good thing was -- it's a Friday. Which means that peter, ned, and you were hanging out after school.
you grip your hand over your backpack strap and walk out of the entrance on the side of the school, mainly leading to the football field and parking lot.
you sit on top of the concrete fence, waiting for ned to get here. peter told the both of you during lunch he would meet you guys at his house, and that he had to run an errand real quick.
" y/n? " you hear a voice call from behind you and you turn around, seeing ned walking up to you with a box in his hand.
you jump off the ledge, inspecting the box.
" watcha got there, ned? " you ask and he smiles wiggling his eyebrows.
" you aren't gonna believe it. you'll see when we get to peter's. "
you nod and starting walking down the stairs, chatting with ned while walking to peter's apartment.
you guys make it to the large building, and you buzz in on every buzzer, knowing someone would let you in.
the door clicks and you open it, holding it for ned.
" you excited to see your boyfriend, y/n?" ned asks walking through the doorway, and you purposely close the door early to hit the back of his shoe, unbalancing him for a moment.
" knock it off, ned. you know he isn't my boyfriend. "
he rolls his eyes and walks to the stairs, waiting for you to open the door.
" oh but you definitely wish he was. " he quarrels.
you open the door, darting up the stairs and walk down the hallway to aunt may's room.
you knock on the door, waiting a couple moments before hearing the door unlock and open.
" oh hi, y/n! I'm assuming peter will be a little late? "
you smile and nod hearing ned walk up to the door panting.
aunt may cracks open the door, letting you guys in.
" what did you guys run a marathon before this? " she asks seeing neds state.
you laugh and pat his arm.
" yeah, but he'll be okay. "
you walk to peter's room, cracking open the door and open the blinds, sticking to the natural lighting.
ned walks in and sets the box on peter's desk, flicking the light on.
you groan and sit down on the bottom bunk of Peter's bed.
" turn that shit off, ned. " You complain.
he rolls his eyes and turns the light off.
" see? It's better with just using the sun and the lamps. "
you kick your shoes off, laying back into Peter's bed, relaxing in the overlapping scent from his bed.
" so what do you have in the box? " You quiz, watching ned cut the box open.
" our next project, dear y/n. " he replies pulling out a box labeled as a Lego version of a giant avengers ship.
" wow, I thought it was gonna be a bomb or something. " you joke and put your hands behind your head, resting on them.
after a little of ned going on a rant about his Lego pieces, and you simply nodding and saying "yep" to everything, peter arrived at the apartment.
the door opens and peter walks in, pulling his jacket off.
" hey guys. " he greets and you stare at him quizzically.
" where's your backpack? " you ask, sitting up and putting your hands on the side of his bed.
" oh uhm- I just left it in chemistry class by accident. " he replies and you nod laying back into the position you were in.
peter sits at your feet and asks about the new lego set.
you couldn't help but stare at peter while he talked about how excited he was. you didn't even process a word he said, just saw his lips moving, and the way he uses his hands to abbreviate his words.
" speaking of that, I have to go home. mom is making a special new recipe and wants me to try it. " ned says, breaking you from your state while he packs up his stuff.
" oh alright, have fun with that. " peter laughs.
" have fun, lovebirds. maybe this time you'll make a move. " ned mumbles but we both hear it, and I can definitely feel the room get warmer.
" ned you shitbag- " you start but he's already gone, and the door clicks shut.
you sit up to try to explain what ned meant.
" ned was just joking around and- " you start but are cut off again by peter pressing his lips to yours, his hands cupping your face.
he pulls away quickly, realizing what he did.
his face contorts and he puts his hands out.
" I swear I didn't mean to do that- well I meant to do it. but like I didn't mean to...I was just thinking about doing it in my head. You know? I'm really sorry y/n. "
you breathe out and feel your face get hot.
" please do that again. " you mumble.
his face curls in confusion, not hearing what you said.
" I said please kiss me again. "
his mouth ajars slightly and his eyes flick between yours and your lips.
and it's like something clicks, he pulls you in suddenly, one hand on your cheek and the other on the side of your neck.
the kiss turns heated, your tongue drags on his bottom lip and you tug on his hair, feeling him groan and his mouth opens.
His hand grips down to your waist, pushing you back into the bed to climb over you.
you take his hand and move it down to your thigh, letting him know it's okay to explore while you pull his waist to get him closer to you.
you pull away, ever so slightly feeling your foreheads touch and you smile seeing his state, hair messed up, and his lips swollen and red from kissing.
" you don't know how long ive been thinking of doing that. " he admits and you quickly kiss him, his head falling to the crook of your neck.
" maybe I won't have to kill ned. " you tell him and feel him smile into your neck.
you enjoy it, sitting in silence feeling his bodyweight on yours, while you play with his hair.
both of you have an admirable relationship ahead.

ACT ONE: PART ONE
“Ow!”
"Watch it, loser!"
The door had opened right into your outstretched hand, and your knuckles screamed in pain, but you desperately tried to control your breathing as Eugene Thompson--aka Flash--scrambled past you. You glanced back at his burly figure and spiky blond hair thudding down the hall, bumping into everyone he could and blaming it on them. You shook your head, and carefully reached for the door again, quickly pulling it open.
You headed to the back of the classroom, holding your hand tenderly.
"Well, Y/N," started the teacher, and you looked up to see that no one else was in there. "Almost all the other kids just left to go on that field trip." He noticed you were in the back of the room. "Have a seat up here. I'm surprised you didn't go--after all, you're one of my top students."
You took a seat in the front, unzipping your backpack. "Yeah, well, I'm fine in your class, Mr. Kang, but science class is a different story."
He chuckled. Then he shrugged into his words: "I didn't have much planned today, so you're free to work on another class... science, perhaps?"
You nodded. "Will do."
You looked down at your hand that Flash had smashed the door into. It was still throbbing and red around the knuckles, but luckily didn't break open any skin. Then you checked the faint Light underneath the skin on your wrist, and took a calming breath when the energy dial was low. It will be fine, you reminded yourself. You shook out your arm, then pulled out your laptop.
The tab currently open was a few of your photography club pictures. You'd had them done for days, but thinking about showing them to anyone gave you goosebumps. You closed the tab, and opened the class site.
Your science teacher had posted an assignment for people not going on the field trip; that included you and only you. As you looked through it, you knew she'd done it simply to irk you, because you were learning about plant biology, not the chemistry behind a spider's venom. Of course, it was clear that the field trip was also useless, since your peers that went weren't required to take notes.
But you weren't about to go on that field trip. They were touring Oscorp, the second best robotics and chemical manufacturing company in the States.
Oscorp was also home to many of your fears. Sure, spiders were freaky, and their robots were always a little creepy to you, but they weren't even half of what truly scared you.
Suddenly, you noticed you'd been pressing the keys down hard, and the screen in front of you was full of the home row letters. You blinked, and put your head in your hands. Palms pressing on your eyes, you tried to focus on the shapes in your mind so you could stop thinking. But every flash of color was like memory lurking just below the surface.
It's going to be fine.
The door opened, and you looked up, eyes readjusting to the light through a squint, and met eyes with a couple students whose pleasant smiles quickly turned to upturned noses.
Your stomach lurched.
A batch of juniors that just so happened to hang with Flash--apparently they'd grown up with him, and kept hanging with him even when he got held back. So, of course, they loved to bully whoever he decided wasn't worth his time.
And that included you.
You felt your muscles tense up, and your heart rate was increasing ever so slowly, but you knew that you'd be fine with Mr. Kang in here--
"Oh, good! You just needed those copies for your project, right?" Mr. Kang said, getting up. "You can stay here and keep an eye on Y/N, though they probably don't need it, and I'll go print those for you."
"Yes, sir," said Julie. She cast you a nasty smile. "Thanks."
And soon enough, you were alone with a gang of bullies. Your hands squeezed into fists as your thoughts turned dark.
There were four of them in total. A tall football boy with greasy blond hair past his ears folded his arms and flexed his chest over them. You thought his name was Connor. A girl holding a phone in front of her face ruffled her coffee-brown hair so she had an extreme side part, and then stuck out her tongue and its piercing for a picture. You didn't remember her name, but knew her follower count was impressive. Then there was Julie's boyfriend, Riley, who had his arm across her shoulders and his chin held high in the air.
But Julie was the clear leader when Flash wasn't around. She held herself so confidently, and twirled her long red hair with one finger in a way that almost seemed like a threat. You swallowed, and gave the best smile you could muster, then glanced back down at your screen. With tense muscles, you sat there praying.
It's fine, you're fine, you're calm, you're normal, you're fine!
She marched over to your desk, but you were glued to your seat in fear. When you met her eyes again, they were livid.
"Good morning," you said. But maybe you really should have stayed quiet this time.
~~
"Does anyone want to take a guess at what percentage of the work done here began in Mr. Osborn’s notebook?”
“Probably one percent, tops,” said Flash, snickering. “If his straight-C's son took after him, that is.”
“Anyone else?” Liz said, shaking her head. She was technically supposed to be learning with the rest of the sophomores, but she was an intern there. They asked her to take the group on a tour, and thanks to her confident smile, Jongseob couldn't take his eyes off of her.
She tucked her dark wavy hair behind her ear, and he watched her bright eyes search the group. He didn’t notice that she’d focused on him. “Jongseob?”
“Sorry?” His face heated up as he glanced away. “Um, seventy percent?”
She grinned. “That’s more like it.” He felt his heart skip a beat when she smiled especially brightly in his direction.
Soul leaned over his shoulder and whispered, “Dude, do you think she’s into you? That was-“
“Shut up, Leeds.” Jongseob nudged in the side. Soul leaned away, laughing.
Liz shook her head once more at another kid, and then Intak raised his hand.
“90 percent.”
“That is correct! Mr. Norman Osborn is the main mastermind behind this company’s projects. Of course, Intak would know more about it than me, but…” She gave a close-lipped smile. “If you’ll look here…”
Soul patted Intak on his shoulder. “Flash just shot you the nastiest look. Should I fight him to defend your honor?”
Jongseob and Intak blinked at him. He hunched over.
“Yeah, who am I kidding? I’m not street smart. I can’t give up my perfect school report to defend you.”
Intak shook his head in a chuckle. “Either way, my father doesn’t reflect what I’m like in school. Flash has a point. I get B’s in my first language, and my dad comes up with all the latest ground-breaking technology.”
"Yeah, I'm not so sure about that," Jongseob said with a laugh. "How could your dad have come up with all of this? He's just a guy."
Intak shoved his hands in his pockets. "You'd be surprised."
“Now, if you follow me to the next room,” Liz announced, opening a door that Flash immediately strutted through, “you’ll be able to see work on the neutralization of deadly spider venom.”
The class gasped a little at the sight of webs strung across the entire room. Flash tensed, and froze in the doorway.
“These spiders live the average amount of time and can eat the same things as usual, but their venom is engineered not to hurt humans in any way.”
“L-let’s go to the next room,” Flash said, backing away.
“Not yet. Are there any volunteers to hold one of these little spiders?”
Jongseob glanced at his friends, but Soul shook his head hard. Intak crossed his arms and smiled sweetly. “Jongseob will!” he called.
His heart dropped. “No, dude, what?”
“Don’t you think it would impress Liz?”
“Come on, Jongseob!” she said.
And then he found himself pushed to the front of the group, presented with a spindly arachnid hanging by a string. Its beady eyes stared down at him, legs wiggling as it lowered itself. It was like it knew what was happening. He held a shaking hand below it, every part in his body already tingling in anticipation and, honestly, fear. He knew it wouldn't hurt him, but he couldn't get over the thought of eight legs crawling all over him.
And then it hit his skin. The whole class seemed to shiver in excitement, watching the nerd hold a bug half the size of his palm. But it did nothing. They just stared at each other.
"See?" Liz offered. "It's entirely harmless."
Jongseob allowed himself a calming breath, and then laughed. It inched down to his wrist. "This isn't so ba- Ow!"
The spider went flying through the air as Jongseob looked down at his wrist in shock. It bit him! It wasn't supposed to injure him in the long run, but the bite was right beside the Light. He shifted his sleeve a little and watched his veins pulse strangely, before reverting back to normal.
"Hey--Jong-" Liz rushed toward him, reaching for his hand, but he flinched away.
"I'm fine! Haha, don't worry. It's not like it'll kill me."
Her brows furrowed, but then she nodded, and turned to the screaming group trying to get away from the rampant spider. Flash was nowhere to be seen.
He looked back down at his wrist. Sweat beaded on his forehead. He swallowed, hard. Then he rushed out the door, knocking into Intak's shoulder on the way. Where were the restrooms? He barely made it to his own stall before collapsing over the toilet, gagging.
~~
"Stupid, stupid, stupid." You patted down the entirety of your backpack and quickly realized your chip wasn't in there. It was like an inhaler for your "episodes", and every time you got too confident in yourself, you let it go missing. And right now wasn't a good time for it to be.
A shudder passed through your body, and your jaw clenched so hard, you thought you might crack a tooth. You glanced at the juniors, and knew immediately that this would be bad. You just had to leave--
"So, Y/N, I hear you got a perfect score on the science homework," Julie started with a smirk. "Oh, wait, you didn't even turn it in. Thanks, by the way, for lending it to me."
She sat on your desk, and you immediately stood up, accidentally pushing your notebook off the desk. The juniors gasped. All you could feel was your blood rushing in your ears. She scoffed, and her friends stepped closer to you.
"It's not like you needed it. Are you going somewhere?"
You tried to take a slow, calm breath, but it sounded angry.
"Got--to--go," you managed, before shoving past a couple of them. They reached out to grab you, but recoiled from your skin. Your arms were rock hard--not because of any muscles, but because of the episode that was beginning. You had to get out of there, before you exploded.
You pushed open the door in a hurry, revealing a shocked Mr. Kang and a stack of papers going everywhere. You couldn't even squeak an apology, and instead tears began to stream down your cheeks as you ran.
"Julie? We need to talk," you heard him say, and then you rounded a corner and slammed into the fire retardant box on the wall.
Its door went flying, and you didn't even bat an eye until you reached the restroom and could splash your face with cold water. You couldn't even feel it, which was a really bad sign. But you kept doing it, hoping that it would reverse the effects. When you started feeling the chill, you stopped, and ripped a paper towel from the dispenser to dry off. You hadn't even noticed the water had splashed all over your front side until then.
"Great." You grabbed another paper towel and tried to pat off the wet splotches on your shirt, but it didn't help. You caught yourself in the mirror and laughed. You were a sight to behold, for sure.
Your eyebags were the biggest thing on your face. Your eyebrows were drawn in a permanent scowl. Worst of all, you could still see the uncontrollable fear of yourself in your eyes. You were disgusting--horrible. You could imagine the headline: "UNDERCOVER FREAK OF NATURE INFILTRATED HIGH SCHOOL." Thanks to Julie and her gang, you were always on edge, wondering which day would be your last at this school. Sometimes you resented her for the fear. Today you found yourself wishing she had won this time. Maybe then you wouldn't have to hide. Maybe then someone would hear you out.
Maybe then you'd get help.
But as you stared into your own soul, you knew there would always be something wrong. You couldn't be fixed. A monster that hid under its own bed was better than a monster running free.
There was a knock at the door, and your head flung toward the sound. "Y/N? It's Mr. Kang."
Your voice stuck in your throat. Glancing down to your wrist, the dial seemed to be cooling down. You shuffled your feet to the door, opening it shakily.
When he saw you, he sighed in relief. "I'm glad you're okay. I had my suspicions about Julie and her friends, but I didn't know they had a problem with you."
All you could do was nod.
He pursed his lips. "Let's go talk to the principal."
You followed him, the sound of shoes on the floor echoing in your ears, but all the while you wondered how you weren't spotted yet. How did he not realize you were the freak? If anyone deserved to be bullied, it was you.
"No one deserves to be bullied, Y/N," he said suddenly. You blinked, and he chuckled. "That must be why you stayed quiet about it, right? Well, you're wrong. You are a great student and a good person."
"Thanks, Mr. Kang." There was really nothing else to say.
"So, you're being bullied? Homework stolen, a couple of sharp words, and you've been physically hurt before?"
"Yes, sir." You looked down at your hands, tugging your sleeve further over your wrist. Mr. Kang had gotten you a dress code sweatshirt to replace your soaked one. It gave you little comfort when speaking to the principal like this.
"I'm thankful for the report." The principal cleared his throat, and finished typing. "However, Y/N, I can't let your own behavior slide. Not fully."
You snapped your eyes upward, suddenly feeling a tingling in your body. You struggled through a calming breath, but your eyes clouded up anyway. "Sir?"
It's fine, it's fine.
"You broke school property today. The fire retardant case is completely smashed on the floor. I'm afraid you'll have to pay if off. Since you're a great student and I don't totally blame you, only worry about two hundred bucks of it."
You released a shaky breath, nodded, and reminded yourself that they really couldn't know anything was different about you. Hardly anything really went wrong, and accidents happen. You could pay this off, and then no one would have to pry further. If only you had the money.
~~
“Hey, Jongseob?”
Jongseob squeezed his eyes shut, tears wetting his lashes. He clutched his stomach gently, leaning a little bit more over the toilet. He was on his knees, keeled over in a public stall, and he’d forgotten to close the door. Well, it was too late now.
“Jongseob, are you in here?”
It was Intak. He wanted to sigh in relief, but every movement he took made him more aware of the nausea building up. He glanced at his wrist again, but the bite was still very prominent.
Can’t harm him? Yeah, right. Stupid, stupid, stupid! He’d always pretended to be the same as everyone else. But the light on his wrist was proof of otherwise. He suddenly gagged, and ripped his hand from his stomach to the toilet seat to brace himself.
The episode came and went, but then he saw that the entire front of his shirt had come off with his hand now on the cool ceramic. Fresh air met his sweaty chest, and he took a steady breath.
Footsteps approached quickly, then, and he knew immediately that Intak was there.
“Oh, man, are you okay?”
Jongseob’s cheeks burned in embarrassment. He wasn’t necessarily a cool guy in front of his friends, but this was sort of humiliating. The son of the creator of these spiders witnessed him basically overreact.
“I’m sorry,” he managed, hanging his head.
No answer. He heard paper rip and water run, and then Intak came back over and pressed a damp towel to his forehead.
“Don’t be sorry. A lot of times the placebo effect really does affect you like this. You know it’s not gonna hurt you, but some part of you still fears it, so your body reacts.”
Jongseob tensed, and finally looked up at his friend. He was shocked to see a kind smile, where there normally sat a reserved frown.
“It’s totally normal, it’ll be fine.”
“I want to go home.”
Intak nodded. “Let’s go. Where’d your shirt go?” Then he spotted it. “Ah.”
“I don’t even know.”
Somehow Intak snuck him out of the crowded building, and got him an extra lab coat to cover up with, no problem at all. He was starting to feel much better, and wondered if he should say he’s fine to go back.
But they were already in a taxi headed to his Aunt May’s house, so he let himself recover. He pressed his palms against the leather beneath him, and stared out the window at the city flashing by.
Oh no—Aunt May! That would not end well. If she saw him come home early looking so sick, she’d ask questions. He knew logically, it wouldn’t be a big deal to lie a little bit, but he also knew he was a terrible liar.
“My dad will pay for any healthcare you need, if you do.”
He sucked in a breath. “No, no, it’s not a big deal. I feel much better by now.”
Intak laughed, “Good! Because explaining this to him would honestly suck.”
Jongseob believed that. Mr. Osborn was a stern man, and he could guess that he wouldn’t be too happy to hear his project was having negative effects. He’d probably care more about silencing this incident than Jongseob himself.
But that wasn’t a big deal.
“Woah, you can’t even see the bite anymore!”
Jongseob jumped and looked down, and realized it really was gone. Like nothing happened. Maybe he really had imagined it. He sighed, looking out the window once more. Intak patted his shoulder with a similar sigh.
The taxi stopped, and Jongseob realized he was staring right at his house. He started, and thanked Intak sincerely, offering to pay him back. As always, that wasn’t an option. Intak waved goodbye and Jongseob turned to face his front door alone.
Unfortunately for him, Aunt May spotted him through the glass of the door almost immediately.
“Jongseob!” she exclaimed when he opened the door. “What- what are you doing back here so early?” She threw down a pile of folded towels—it was laundry day—and reached out to caress his face with soft, cool hands. “You‘ve got a fever.”
“Just a small one, but I guess it was enough to leave early.”
Her forehead creased and her worry lines grew deeper. Before she could say anything, he continued.
“Honestly, I just wanted to leave. It was boring and had nothing to do with class. I have homework to do.”
She stepped back, eyeing him with suspicion. “Alright. Well, help me carry these up to the bathroom and then you can get on with that schoolwork.” She wagged a bony finger in the air, and a smile began to form on her lips again. “You’ve got to keep your scholarship, or you’ll be getting a job!”
Jongseob relaxed, and took the towels with a forced smile, hurrying up the stairs. “Love you, Aunt May!”
“Oh, get on with it!”
But once he’d ducked into the bathroom, he realized there really was something wrong. The towels wouldn’t drop. It was like he was… sticky.
