He ofc is Very Hesitant and Shooked she's this… Doing this… Being his salvation when he's utterly exhausted and worn out from the day's events.

Gigi just does the things necessary, gets a damp cloth to wipe his sweaty face and sideburns and no she does not at all REVEL in the fact that she gets to do this and care for him and shower him with the affection we all know he deserves.

Once they settle into getting ready for bed Elvis is shocked again by her insistence in either a) sleeping neckid or b) being the bigger spoon cause she knows he's tired and can't handle pressure on his stomach right now. Actually probably B. As she soothes him to sleep, he murmurs to her that he "I'll get even with you Little" or whatever sounds good and drifts off. Gigi is left with all these feelings running through her of needing to take care of E and simultaneously needing to feel him Everywhere.

Although I'm sad that there weren't more scenes that showed the Baron's character in the new movie (don't even talk to me about the lack of Petir dialogue in general), I do think that they successfully managed to: 1) make him physically intimidating and unsettling without just making him a fat man and relying on fatphobia

2) get his anti-gravity suspenders right where his movements are actually creepy and not just him either bouncing around like in the book or fucking soaring around like a bird trapped in a home depot like in the lynch film

Also I think that the scene where he's cowering on the ceiling after escaping the poison gas is really effective and shows his personality in such a good way. Everything about the tooth scene in general was incredible. The sound design when he was eating, Leto being butt ass neckid, all of the creepy bald servants, the way the baron floated across the table. It was so good.
