AI problem/solution

I had noticed that my were just ignoring buildings completely so I looked at the Navmesh and it was all screwed up for some reason so I tried to find a fix on google but couldn’t find one. To fix it I ended up building the level and that work now the AI don’t run into buildings however they still run into each other. To fix the AI running into each other I googled it and found something called RVO in character movment that if ticked will make them avoid each other.

The fact is that this is like still the same advice dressed different. Like i am righthanded i know that. i slept now so i can actually explain why it bothers me so much. If we talk like that no other distraction and you ask me: "hey wheres right and where is left?" I can answer that easily. But when i am distracted doing stuff; for me its the most apperant while playing videogames, working or driving; when someone then says "hey you have to left" or "hey the bowl is on the right side on the shelf go get it" thats the moment i confuse it. Navigationsystems tells me to take a right turn, i drive a left turn. sometimes in videogames i often also go up instead of down when i need to. The words just seem to confuse me in times of distraction/stress/focus.

Also another reason this advice bothers me so much is that alot of people who gave it to me knowingly make fun of me when they say it. alot of the people i know they dont really understand it when you struggle with minor things and dont understand learning disabilities. also often they assume, just because i have a degree, i MUST be smart and know anything. Which honestly is far from the truth.

I think the most bullshit advice people often give me is "Links ist wo der Daumen rechts ist" -> "the left side is the side where the thumb is on the right side" (roughly) its so bullshit to me because 1. it doesnt answer the question 2. I can flip my hand; suddenly the thumb on my left hand also points left 3. I know you try to be funny but i literally got lost driving because i took the wrong turn
