AI problem/solution

I had noticed that my were just ignoring buildings completely so I looked at the Navmesh and it was all screwed up for some reason so I tried to find a fix on google but couldn’t find one. To fix it I ended up building the level and that work now the AI don’t run into buildings however they still run into each other. To fix the AI running into each other I googled it and found something called RVO in character movment that if ticked will make them avoid each other.

It was 2014 and it's crazy to believe that we were traveling like this.

Wihout an internet-connection, finding our ways offline with a roadmap.

We had a navigationsystem but it was shitty as hell and sometimes we would lost ourselves because it would tell us the wrong way.

We loved it. Just to go where it felt right, sometimes jumping out of the car at some random villages asking some locals for nice places to visit.

Looking back to 2014 I think it was special in many ways:

Not knowing what would happen after this journey, not knowing what i wanted to study.

I came to Australia without wanting to continue and to repeat my past. I had no direction in mind.

Before deciding to go to Australia I was sometimes hanging arround with Lotti and her back then boyfriend. He was in Australia befor and he always told me about his amazing time he had there. My attention was always fully with him - I mean and that was it: This excitement that grew inside of me when listening to his stories. That was my motivation for making my decision. Just a guy telling me a few stories about his traveling. I think at first I even hadn't so much intentions. Slowly bit by bit I developed some in my mind that were about experiencing life, discovering, going on an adventure, traveling and just finding my way.

But this happend mostly after sticking to my decision to travel to Australia when people asked me why I wanted to do that.

Sometimes it would be tough explaining myself to others.

This is not something we are mostly familiar with: having no plan and following a path of uncertainty with confidence and trust while being confronted by fear and doubts.

Today I see myself in a similar situation:

I finished my studies, but I don't feel like choosing a set plan for my future yet. I have some goals, some wishes, but I know that I shouldn't set a path that is defined by my mindset I have now.

I want to direct my life on healing. But healing also means to evolve in every moment in my life. How could I set a path that is effected by my currently limited mindset? It would give me liminting results and I would repeat a life that is not bringing me where I want to get. I would repeat a life someone else set for me. And this someone else is even not existing!

I am amazed by all the people who follow their excietment and who allow themselves to choose a path that has no clear outcome.

And this is what I want: just trusting that life will carry me where I need to be to evolve, to learn, to see reality without me living after a concept, but to see life how it is: beautiful, alive, vibrant, wide and fulfilling.
