Here is a though that entered my mind.

What if nasiens already created something like the drug of yore and none noticed.

In the introduction of nasiens he was creating a drug that would bring back the forest and heal it. But the poison that was put in the forest was not normal. It was caused by a cursed ordo. That was turned into a monster.

Now to the drug it was purple with a shine to it . Do you know that the drug of yore also has a purple shine. It is similar but a little different.

Also both drugs work immediately. A drug that was able to bring an almost dead forest to life is no normal drug the only thing better than it is the drug of yore.

But this show something. Nasiens was able to create this drug from thing that grow in the first that he lived in.

Now that he is in the fairy forest this could lead to nasiens creating a drug that remove of cure curses.

I mean most of his focus was put in waking up Percival. But the fact that nasiens brought the possibility of creating a drug to remove kings curse say another about that being a possibility.

Then the drug that nasiens created and named Percival is also close to being an instant cure.

Now think of these three potential drugs that nasiens could create. That would make him the ultimate healer and poison spicalist.

He wound not need the drug of yore because he is already in the path of creating similar things.

4Kota Fanfic Ideas: Nasiens Drink the Drug of Yore

It was a painful and his body suffered for weeks after that; he suffered bode pains, fever and difficult to maintain himself awake.

He probably did that to save Mertyl, the Fairy Kingdom or someone precious

He only did that because Arthur's forces have attacked and tried to steal the Drug of Yore, probably poisoning the Forest of the Fairies in the process; it was necessary that Nasiens would use his powers to create more of the drug, since what they have was little quantity.

But it also turned Nasiens into a target to Arthur's Holy Knights.

Maybe he got kidnapped by Arthur's forces, or used himself as exchange to protect the people he love.

Maybe he become a prisoner in Camelot, where he suffers torture to give the Drug of Yore to Arthur's forces.

Or, he and his family are able to hide that fact and, instead, Nasiens hides inside the Kingdom of Fairies and is protected by his family and the others fairies and giants.

Only some people know that Nasiens is capable of creating the Drug of Yore, so, they (his family and loved ones) use the excuse of "being the first born child of the king of fairies and the queen of giants who returned home" as an excuse to being overprotective with him.

(They would be protective with him already)

The official website for the television anime series Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yonkishi (The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse) unveiled theme songs and a promo video for the second season. Random Headcanons

- Fairies smoke. They get high, oh they get so high. (Thanks @sydns for putting this idea in my head lol) The Fairy King's Forest has a spot where one can find the highest quality of herbs, one of the reasons why humans try to enter the forest in the first place. There are also far more crazier things that can be found in the Fairy Realm. None of the Sins know that King smokes because he didn't during his time with the Sins, his argument being that humans don't sell the good stuff. The first time anyone has actually seen King and Elaine smoke is at Gilthunder and Margaret's wedding.

- Goddess shed their feathers as they grow. It's kind of a weird sight to see

- Goddess and Fairies are known to have beautiful voices. The question of whose better is very subjective depends on who you ask. When a Goddess sings they bring a heavenly and ethereal feel. When a Fairy sings it's more enchanting and whimsical.

- Lancelot slept on Chastiefol once. Best nap ever.

- Lancelot became a bit overprotective over the Percy Platoon after the incident because he doesn't want anyone getting hurt again

- Lancelot didn't speak to Sixtus for months after Sixtus received Magliastira. Lance is just upset he didn't get a cool weapon

- Mael cried when he found out that Tristan named his swords after him

- Meliodas would sometimes talk to the horses in the castle stables, sometimes Ban would join in. King apologizes to the horses on their behalf

- Lancelot and Sixtus would use birds to carry messages to each other.

- Gowther taught Tristan how to curse in Demon language

- Gowther is Sixtus' favorite Uncle. "His weirdness is endearing." Sixtus said.

- Zeldris and Mael would sometimes have their own little tea parties in the Demon Realm. Meliodas found out about it and got upset he wasn't invited. "You don't even like tea." Zeldris argued. "That's not the point! It's the thought that matters, it's about a get together between brothers" after that they invited Meliodas, he really didn't last long.
