Dragon ball, my life really, I love the universe and even the humor (except a few exceptions) still makes me laugh. Did you know that Dragon Ball was part of the reason France is SECOND biggest manga/anime consumers in the world 'till today ?? Aaaah ! Butterfly effect 🥰 If I watched it more when I was young, I certainly would be doing some martial arts today lol

The coolest funfact I have is that my mom would've call me Bulma if she could that's so cool 😎 but noooo I couldn't have been cool and outgoing and funny, my destiny was to be an introverted obsessed with either old shows, weird shows or both 🤡 (better be happy I didn't ended up drug addict but I'm still young and life is full of surprises, Anyway)

Also I'm re-watching all Dragon Ball.

Here I go with the dbz stuff :)

I love creating characters, it's always been my fav and I'm lucky enough that is also my job! The exploration part is just so fun ✨

As I said in my last post, the aliens in DBZ offer so much possibilities regarding design! And something I've always admired in Toriyama's work is how balanced his designs are. There is nothing you'd want to change to his characters or... He's done the change himself (Vegeta from his first apparition to his design on Namek!) Personnaly I feel the difference with DBS and how some characters are slightly unbalanced in design.

SO I wanted to experiment by creating my own little alien race but also explore feminine versions of already existing ones (it's not obvious from what I've posted for now but I love drawing women above all). I'll show these in another post :) it is always fun to explore another artist's style and find a way to make it suit my own!

I also wanted to imagine an extended lore for HOW THE EMPIRE WORKS?? So I've also thought about what different uniforms could represent. I don't believe they would have girl/boy uniform, because of the material they are made of, they can fit any body type. However, uniform showing profession? Now we are talking. Especially since the doctors seen in DBZ wear this sort of drape, I thought it was fun to use :D

Been watching a lot of Dragon Ball Daima and I'm still not okay about Dragon Ball Super Hero either (in a good way). My love of the demon-slug-bois has been rekindled, so.... Have a fankid.

Neru (Daiyo) is a "female" or "b-mutation" namekian who became Anya Nion's best friend who took her to King Kai's before Goku's friends got there. Daiyo was a nickname given to her by Anya when they first met. Neru goes by She/They, hates clothing that doesn't fully confine her chest, hates being asked her gender, considering Namekians have no concept of gender. Neru's name comes from the katakana spelling of Nail, which in their cases comes from snail. Neru was originally designed to be a young child, about Dende's age. Her age is perceived around ages 10 to 12. Her nickname Daiyo is a wordplay reference to Mikudayo
