Permission to bitch, but I'm so sad there isn't more Mike and Nacho art, fic and analysis out there. Like, their tentative bond is the thing I got the most attached to in the series. Nacho looks like he wants to cry everytime Mike does something for him, like getting himself get beaten up to put Tuco in jail (Mike partly did that for himself too, but he did want to protect Nacho as well), or giving Nacho the £25,000 back because he 'didn't hold up the end of his bargain.'

I feel like Nacho rarely sees honour amoung thieves in his line of work, even when he looks inward, because he's all for ripping off thieves.

And Mike, Mike is trying so hard not to care but he falls at the first hurdle because he looks at Nacho and sees Matty, and relates to Nacho the more he gets to know him, because Nacho wants to protect his loved ones in the same way Mike wants to protect Stacey and Kaylee, and the same way he wanted to protect Matty. And then there are tears in Mike's eyes when he sees Nacho's final moments. It changes him forever.

Also there's not enough of Nacho being a delightful backstabbing bitch. Don't get me wrong, I do love his selfless, sacrificial side, but I wish people focused on his bad, scheming side too instead of making him a completely helpless victim.

I'm gonna draw the shit out of this stuff when I have more time. I've done some BCS drawings already and posted them, but I wanna focus more on these two for sure.

Please tell me I'm not alone in this kjhajkdhjkas.

Can't help but feel like these two lines are similar in the way that they both unsettled Kim and Nacho. Like everything else in this show, they require us to have a second watch to detect all the foreshadowing and the subtext. While it's apparent that Lalo's playful little invitation turned out to be a prediction of Nacho's fate, Kim's face after Howard said his “affirmation” kinda gives me the idea that this too might not have been as genuine and innocent as I perceived. There’s sort of an underlying cruel reminder he wanted to deliver in his tone - that he's just done the worst thing he could have done to her, which was unfairly demoting her to doc review, and (he felt that) his action was justified. It's the way they both had that sinister smile on their faces and soulless look in their eyes when they said these phrases that makes them equally wicked to me. Can anybody hear me?

(Yeah that look of Kim could just be because she knew deep down that she couldn’t have gotten Kettlemans back on her own but based on how much of a bitch Howard was being during this season, I wouldn’t doubt that he was being manipulative here. I mean she did tell Jimmy that she “lost a client”, not them leaving her because of their own stupidity, so she was probably living with the sentiment for a while, not to mention Howard not even letting her finish settling back into her office before telling her to “come bask in the glow” when he was the only one making a speech and being live-recorded LMAO)

Edit: it’s just hit me again that what Howard said is kinda foreshadow-y when you consider what became of Kim later on….. tv shows make me ill.

They’re plums!

I’ve had plums as my banner for over two years now and I change the pictures out seasonally (though I’ve had this one up since spring because I really like the colors… winter plums coming soon, though).

I like plums to eat, but they’re my banner photo because, over the summer of 2022, I was obsessed with the song Quetzalcoatl Eats Plums by The Mountain Goats. I still think it’s a great song and, at this point, I can’t imagine my banner as anything BUT plums, so they’re here to stay!
